Hotels with pool in Charleston

I used the Charleston Resort and Marina to host a 2-day offsite meeting for 50+ people. We had several out of town employees stay at the Beach Resort and everyone loved the rooms and the VIEW!!! Everything went perfectly

It is very interesting to see how they lived on board with all the necessary equipment and provisions. MARVELOUS !! When you finally reach the upper deck, you will find several planes still parked there

I understand that some official "big wigs" have annual meetings, banquets, etc. PS No air circulation inside the upper decks over the ground deck until you are outside the aircraft deck

Our son is almost 6 feet tall (165 lbs, 32 inches at waist) hit his head a couple of times due to very tight spaces and very steep and narrow steps. We all had to squeeze between some areas

At the very least, a four-hour tour will probably be as quick as you can get. Longer if you want to absorb most of the facts

Very interesting history facts. just be sure to take your best walking shoes if you visit the USS Yorktown and Laffey

The staff wasn't sure which book I was referencing but I didn't want to be difficult so I told them I'd just browse the website (even though they tried to accommodate my request several times by getting me another key to the room to go get the book

Absolutely amazing service - and for something so small but I am so glad I have it to look through! The spa was lovely. The Palmetto cafe was delicious! The house keeping including evening turn-down service was awesome

The hotel and rooms are stunning! The amenities are also amazing and the service is impeccable. While we were there for our last visit, I noticed a small book in the room that highlighted all Belmond locations

Service from the Valet, to the Bellman, Front desk, maids, and concierge all very nice. Good location for walks to most historical areas of city. Got to try the pedi-cabs once you get tired of walking

Good access to dog walking areas. City and most of the beaches very dog friendly. A little expensive but the club floors are worth it. Bartender on her game! Pics taken from rooftop bar

I will note that the entrance off Meeting Street was easy to miss, bit hey, Charleston is a beautiful city, so an extra 5 minutes circling the Market isn't so bad!

We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back for sure !

In fact, there’s only maybe 16 lounge chairs, but the view from the rooftop is amazing and the quality of the hotel and the service more than make up for the small pool. The location on King Street is also great

As guests left, dirty towels and trash stayed behind ALL day. The service in the bars was mediocre at best. Dirty glasses and dishes sat around the bar area

I has the best service from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The room was so pretty, comfortable and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and had lots of fluffy pillows. The stand alone bathtub was awesome

The patisserie has amazing food. My only complaint is that the pool is small. Do not come here for a resort type pool experience. There is not enough room for all the pool guests to have a lounge chair

We highly recommend the Hotel Bennett. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were warmly greeted by bellman Kevin. He made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the features of our room

We arrived at the Dewberry later, after a 12 hour drive, and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else! Right off the bat, valet was attentive, reception was great (tea and towel provided), and provided great recommendations

The room was exceptional! Overall, great stay and I will be coming back

Quite simply one of the most exemplary hotels I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The design is exquisite and wonderfully particular to Charleston and the building itself (which is a mid century gem built in 1964)

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the historic district. The beds were so comfortable and everything was super clean. It is in a great central location to everything we did during our stay

They also have vehicles to drop you off around town and let you borrow a car for 3 hours for free. At the restaurant, all pastries are made to order and come out warm and fresh which was a nice surprise

The staff are genuinely a cut above and I can personally attest to the extent they go above and beyond. The design is exquisite, the Citrus Club an unrivalled location for drinks and the spa is sublime

Or, you can take the water taxi directly from the hotel pier to downtown Charleston. A few downers were the apparent lack of enough towels, both in our room and at the pool

A generally fantastic facility to stay at, from the rooms to the pool to the views. Very clean and beautifully decorated

PRO: Strategically great location, upscale pool landscape which is very well-maintained. Nice rooms, attractive and cozy. ----- CON: Overall, overpriced

A bar near the pool for drinks. They will let you take bikes out and ride around which is cool. Not really a beach just a patch of grass with sand on top of it. The best part is the little robot who roams the lobby

The gate at the front so annoying. The brown from the balcony is so good. The hot tub wasn’t working when we were there unfortunately. The pool is big so there’s plenty of room to swim around

Also, the mini fridge in our room was extremely mini, not really able to fit much at all, and never really got cold. A small microwave in the room would've been nice too. Still, we would definitely go back

Just got back from three wonderful nights at the Mill House Grand. we used one day to drive into Savannah and back because of the short distance. It was nice to have a valet park your car after a long day of sightseeing

It is within walking distance of EVERYTHING Charleston including some great restaurants, if you choose not to dine at the hotel. The lobby and grounds were elegant and upscale but "comfortable" ( but not "snooty"

A beautiful hotel.. very historic. Very friendly staff.. clean.. perfect service.. right in the middle of the fun city.. walking distance to everything.. I can't say enough good things.

Will go back in the near future to hopefully not get our trip cut short by mother nature! Thank you Denise for all of your help! You saved us a lot of trouble, will come back just for you!

Every person employed here during our stay were pleasant and helpful. Gaston our bellman, went above and beyond for us. He also retrieved ice for us so we could enjoy a cold drink

The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating. My wife and I are expecting twin girls, and the staff was very accommodating with a room that had a refrigerator

The bar was awesome and open late. The entire lobby and area to the rooms was super cool. The room was clean, and the bathroom was very nice and posh with a huge walk in shower with waterfall shower head

The bed was very comfortable and the location of this hotel was very convenient as I wanted to shop at Tanger Outlet Mall the next day, which literally across the street

The Crowne Plaza in Charleston, SC near the outlet mall was one of the best stays we have ever had. We are touring the country with our band and they were very friendly and let us check in early

Rooms were nicely done and loved the pillows. Need was pretty comfortable albeit not as comfy as home. All the staff were wonderful to work with and so very helpful

Plenty of room to relax and we slept very soundly on the pillowtop beds. We will absolutely be coming back to this location in the future and highly recommend it

Really nice hotel, clean rooms and even though I didn't use it, the pool looked amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only negative is that in my room, I could hear everything

The bar is fantastic and the bartender was so awesome- always allowing samples and really good pours! I can't remember her name but Fri and Saturday evening shift - amazing! The room was very nicely and eclectically decorated

Beautiful hotel in the heat of downtown Charleston. A quick walk away from the shops, pictured. Was here for a wedding and the staff were more than accommodating. I look forward to coming back!

The idea of historic hotels being managed by Marriott seemed appealing so when my wife and I were traveling in Charleston we had to give it a shot. What an astonishingly beautiful hotel. We're Renaissance fans for life

Wonderful views and a great location for downtown sites such as the market and art galleries galore. Comfortable beds, clean room and a great staff (the best of any Marriott I have had)

The search for a good wedding venue in Charleston, South Carolina was extremely challenging, but fortunately we found The Renaissance in the heart of the downtown historic district

The bar setup in the library area at the front of the hotel was great for cocktail hour, and allowed the guests to socialize while the reception was prepared

Had a great stay here. Not a single complaint. The staff was great. Breakfast was really great. I'll have no hesitation about going here again next time.

Decent Hyatt - I recommend getting a car, not a lot to walk to, unless you enjoy longer walks (not) on the beach.

This is a nice, clean and modern hotel that's well worth the money. It's close enough to be able to walk to the local mall in 15-20 minutes and there's nearby restaurants

Was a nice room. Friendly staff. Considering its location, felt like vehicle was safe. I would stay there again.

We had a small issue with the toilet that was quickly fixed by the friendly staff at the front desk

It is next to the ocean and fountain; tons of good restaurants nearby (just make sure you make a reservation in advance, and I mean really, really in advance). The hotel offers valet parking and free bicycle rentals

The rooms are large and comfortable. and quiet! Daily breakfast to suit your requirements and the daily wine and cheese hour was such a luxurious addition. Their rooftop patio is a wonderful oasis

Perfect location, within walking distance of the market, authentic downtown Charleston restaurants such as Poogan’s porch and more. The HarborView inn has an amazing waterfront view of Charleston

The rooftop area is great for hanging out (unfortunately it was raining when we were here and we couldn't use the area) and the ground floor also has a lounge area for hanging out and eating

Every morning the breakfast was wonderful, warm and served in the room. Don't hesitate because the construction is closest to the water. The noise is not a big deal and occurs very rarely

I don't know how to do this (other hotels can't do the same) but here the hotel staff OWN the customer experience. It made a difference and made my entire trip special

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is the PERFECT location for exploring the city centre. The exterior looks historic and cosy, this continues inside the beautifully decorated common areas and rooms to stay in

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I especially appreciated the valet when I wanted to take my car, seeing them running back and forth to the garage with guests lined up waiting, come rain or shine

Love the bed, hands down the most comfortable sheets and bed I have slept in when traveling. The wine and cheese they offer at 4:00pm on roof top was great! The staff was very accommodating and friendly

Other things worth noting: the bed was comfortable, the wine reception a thoughtful suggestion and the breakfast was good - I only wish there were more hot options on offer

Everything from amazing restaurants to the famous King Street for shopping is within walking distance! Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the friendly front desk staff

The inside of the hotel is very nice, the rooms are clean and well maintained. Walking on the old wooden floors and climbing the old stairs is like stepping back in time

That alone is worth at least three stars. The lobby is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, the pool is lovely, and the restaurants and complimentary manager's reception are a big draw

The table cleaning staff at breakfast: Monica and Joel were very pleasant also. The only complaints are there seemed to be a shortage on towels

We only used the hotel's shuttle and its bed for a good night's sleep before departing - we were not in the hotel long enough to be able to give a fuller review of its facilities - we had no complaints at all about the hotel

The manager goes above and beyond to make sure the guests are taken care of. Bar on site, restaurant on site, both are amazing. Complimentary bar/snacks AND hot breakfast. We can't say enough good things about this place

? The decore and the atmosphere were amazing! ? My company had another event at The Hilton in Dallas, Texas and it was also amazing. I've never stayed overnight at a Hilton Hotel but I'm sure I wouldn't be disappointed

I recently attended a work event at this facility. It was a very enjoyable time. The meeting room was very spacious and provided plenty of room for the group meeting. Lunch and refreshments were very good

My only complaint was that they didn't keep drinks (water, etc. I think they just forgot, in the midst of everything, but the gentleman serving our area was apologetic and got us more water quickly, once he realized

Stayed here for a wedding. Booked 3 nights had a good trip. Room was good, had a view of the water and the staff was responsive. It was really convenient to have the direct access to king st.

The room where the wedding ceremony took place had some kind of white applique type design/decoration on the upper walls, which along with the high ceilings and large chandeliers, gave it a very regal feel

Room rates are competitive with other high end hotels in the Charleston area. Older building but with the recent renovation the Francis Marion is a great choice for your stay in Charleston

I didn't pay much attention to the space's design, but it also had a upscale, traditional, regal feel to it. The food was very good, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating

Rooms were small but will appointed and very comfortable. A short walk from some of the best restaurants in Charleston. I recommend eating at Halls Chophouse and Darlings Oyster Bar

It's a relatively new facility So it's beautiful. I couldn't be more pleased with my room. It was spacious, very clean and the bed comfortable. The complimentary breakfast had some thing for everyone

Absolutely beautiful inside and out. But as soon as you enter the lobby with its beautiful colors and design elements you are whisked away into another world. Lovely rooms , gorgeous linens, great breakfast

A bright, shiny, new Hampton Inn very close the the airport. The lobby is beautiful and very comfortable. , The rooms are modern, new, clean & quiet. Loved the shower! Mike the Shuttle driver is fantastic

I don't know when it opened, but it seems brand new. Room was clean and spacious, staff were all polished and professional, highly recommended

I can't wait to see how long it will take before guests destroy the furniture. But right now it's nicer than some of the high end hotels

I especially appretciated the shuttle driver Mike who gave us a card to have us get picked up from a concert when we needed him

With it being an indoor pool, we assumed it would have been heated. Now it wasn't advertised to have a heated pool

The voucher is not much daily and the amount has to be charged to your room and then the credit appears, with my company, there are no additional charges of any kind allowed on my room receipt

When we were looking at different hotels and their amenities in the area, this one stood out the most. This includes the great reviews that were listed online

The biggest point for us to stay here was that it had the indoor pool and jacuzzi. This was for the kids' mini vacation. When we got into the pool, it was very cold

However, being a Diamond member the Garden Inn was a hotel where I could get a better breakfast service complimentary cooked to order, with the new credit vouchers this is no longer the case

I had 6 upcoming stays at Hilton Garden Inn's across the US and have cancelled them all and will stay elsewhere. Hilton has ruined a good thing for its most loyal customers

Staff super friendly, complimentary water every day, size of the suites, the gym and pool, location just off king street

No bugs or weird smells, high pressure shower, clean sheets and towels. Breakfast was standard free hotel breakfast and we can’t complain there. As far as parking, we should have used the valet

$50 to get the boot off so just be aware and don’t miss your time! We had a wonderful trip and the hotel was everything we hoped for, walkable to king street, comfortable, clean, and safe

Hotel is close to restaurants and historic sites which is where we were wanting to be. It was clean and had excellent customer service. Everyone we talked to was friendly and helpful

It is also in a great location in Charleston and within walking distance of the horse & carriage rides, market, and all of the awesome restaurants and shops in Charleston

The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. My only constructive criticism is to have smart tv’s in the room as the cable TV selection is lacking. Overall a great experience!

The shower was nice but the water pressure was weak and the temperature was impossible to set. It was either scolding hot, hot, or off. The elevators were really slow, sometimes faster to use the stairs

The room was very clean and spacious and the location is an easy 15 minutes from downtown Charleston! It's conveniently located near many fast-food options and gas stations as well.

This was by far one of the best hotel stays that I've ever had. The staff were great and welcoming, the amenities were perfect, breakfast was great, and the hotel was very clean

We went for a family vacation, and even though it was cold, the hotel made our trip that much more enjoyable

Decent room, being close to the airport is not my favored location. Breakfast was fairly standard. Unfortunately they also lock down the TV inputs so you cannot use a person device like Google TV
