The staff wasn't sure which book I was referencing but I didn't want to be difficult so I told them I'd just browse the website (even though they tried to accommodate my request several times by getting me another key to the room to go get the book

We did not stay here but will plan on it in the future. We popped in to check out the Christmas festivities and trees. We even got to meet Santa. My photos and videos offer the experience to you. Enjoy!

Can't say enough about the staff at Charleston Place. Check-in to check-out everything was fantastic

Hammering, drilling, maybe a jackhammer? It’ll calm down for an hour or so here and there, but basically from 8am to late afternoon it’s happening, which isn’t great when you’re trying to get a baby down for a nap

The customer service was great and the location was ideal as it was right across the street from the market and within walking distance of several attractions

The elegance of this hotel has an old-world feel, which seems to pull you back in time to an era where men and women would dress up for every occasion. The craftsmanship and finishes of this building will have you in awe

Staff was very friendly! The rooms are very nice. Bathroom is small, but considering this hotel was built in the early 1900s, I appreciate the fact they’re preserving the history of this place

Stayed here for a wedding. Booked 3 nights had a good trip. Room was good, had a view of the water and the staff was responsive. It was really convenient to have the direct access to king st.

The people who work here are all friendly and willing to help. This is a little on the pricey side, but we'll be worth the cost

The beds were so comfortable and they come with a fridge which is nice for storing beverages. Each floor has a water and ice refill station. The only thing I would say is that the pool food menu could use a little work

Right in the heart of downtown, Mills house sticks out beautifully. The color of the hotel is to be adored, along with the details of art and history on the inside. The rooftop bar is large and has great views

As soon as I checked in, I was immediately greeted by their friendly and hospitable staff in addition to a beautiful champagne service

Staff was amazing and friendly, valet was awesome and more than likely needed in the area

We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back for sure !

In fact, there’s only maybe 16 lounge chairs, but the view from the rooftop is amazing and the quality of the hotel and the service more than make up for the small pool. The location on King Street is also great

As guests left, dirty towels and trash stayed behind ALL day. The service in the bars was mediocre at best. Dirty glasses and dishes sat around the bar area

I has the best service from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The room was so pretty, comfortable and quiet. The bed was so comfortable and had lots of fluffy pillows. The stand alone bathtub was awesome

The patisserie has amazing food. My only complaint is that the pool is small. Do not come here for a resort type pool experience. There is not enough room for all the pool guests to have a lounge chair

We highly recommend the Hotel Bennett. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were warmly greeted by bellman Kevin. He made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the features of our room

We arrived at the Dewberry later, after a 12 hour drive, and I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else! Right off the bat, valet was attentive, reception was great (tea and towel provided), and provided great recommendations

The room was exceptional! Overall, great stay and I will be coming back

Quite simply one of the most exemplary hotels I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The design is exquisite and wonderfully particular to Charleston and the building itself (which is a mid century gem built in 1964)

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the historic district. The beds were so comfortable and everything was super clean. It is in a great central location to everything we did during our stay

They also have vehicles to drop you off around town and let you borrow a car for 3 hours for free. At the restaurant, all pastries are made to order and come out warm and fresh which was a nice surprise

The staff are genuinely a cut above and I can personally attest to the extent they go above and beyond. The design is exquisite, the Citrus Club an unrivalled location for drinks and the spa is sublime

Or, you can take the water taxi directly from the hotel pier to downtown Charleston. A few downers were the apparent lack of enough towels, both in our room and at the pool

A generally fantastic facility to stay at, from the rooms to the pool to the views. Very clean and beautifully decorated

PRO: Strategically great location, upscale pool landscape which is very well-maintained. Nice rooms, attractive and cozy. ----- CON: Overall, overpriced

A bar near the pool for drinks. They will let you take bikes out and ride around which is cool. Not really a beach just a patch of grass with sand on top of it. The best part is the little robot who roams the lobby

The gate at the front so annoying. The brown from the balcony is so good. The hot tub wasn’t working when we were there unfortunately. The pool is big so there’s plenty of room to swim around

Also, the mini fridge in our room was extremely mini, not really able to fit much at all, and never really got cold. A small microwave in the room would've been nice too. Still, we would definitely go back

They offer a great breakfast buffet or you can order off a menu. Servers are very friendly and do a great job. We feel John and Joe go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and happy. Definitely worth a try!

It’s very relaxing to sit at any window and look out across and see the old “Cooper River Bridge”, which I ran once and Fort Sumter

Always extremely clean! We had breakfast added to our room price. Enough variety for someone who has picky tastes

Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Was bummed that you couldn't actually go out on the balcony. That was the whole reason we had chosen this hotel so that we had a place to sit after our kids had gone to bed.

Our only complaints are that the shower didn't drain well and that a group of loud motorcyclists hung out right outside the hotel entrance for the duration of our stay

The hotel has been well-maintained over the years. It has been renovated and feels fairly modern. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are kind

With it being an indoor pool, we assumed it would have been heated. Now it wasn't advertised to have a heated pool

The voucher is not much daily and the amount has to be charged to your room and then the credit appears, with my company, there are no additional charges of any kind allowed on my room receipt

When we were looking at different hotels and their amenities in the area, this one stood out the most. This includes the great reviews that were listed online

The biggest point for us to stay here was that it had the indoor pool and jacuzzi. This was for the kids' mini vacation. When we got into the pool, it was very cold

However, being a Diamond member the Garden Inn was a hotel where I could get a better breakfast service complimentary cooked to order, with the new credit vouchers this is no longer the case

I had 6 upcoming stays at Hilton Garden Inn's across the US and have cancelled them all and will stay elsewhere. Hilton has ruined a good thing for its most loyal customers

Excellent location but this place is all about the staff. I stayed on my own on the 24th February nothing was too much trouble the staff were friendly and happy and nothing was nothing was too much trouble

Stayed here a couple times and really liked it. Staff are extremely friendly, and has a great breakfast buffet. Rooms are nice and pool is pretty good. Easy parking, though not all that close to town.

I gave this hotel 4 stars because of Rodericks promptness in addressing the issue and taking the initiative to move us instead if sending us downstairs. I was very impressed with his politeness and professionalism

Front desk staff was very friendly. The a/c in our room wasn't cooling properly, when we got back at around 10, our room felt humid and warm. Called the front desk and they sent a maintenance man

My first time visiting this place, even though it was for work I will say, I love it. The front desk is very professional and helpful. The only issue I had was the bathtub door, the water was going all out when showering

The bathroom needs a bit of more lighting but after that everything else was great, I will definitely will return and I definitely do recommend it

I love how you can close off the bedroom from the living room area in the hotel room, so that way someone can say, stay up and watch television, or hang out with friends, without bothering the other person

I love how eager they are to help, really great attitudes, a real standard for how hotels staff should be. The room had a lot of historical quality from its former days. The place is laid out like a fort

The shower was nice but the water pressure was weak and the temperature was impossible to set. It was either scolding hot, hot, or off. The elevators were really slow, sometimes faster to use the stairs

The pool wasn't open when we were hoping to use it, though no reason was given

The room was very clean and spacious and the location is an easy 15 minutes from downtown Charleston! It's conveniently located near many fast-food options and gas stations as well.

This was by far one of the best hotel stays that I've ever had. The staff were great and welcoming, the amenities were perfect, breakfast was great, and the hotel was very clean

We went for a family vacation, and even though it was cold, the hotel made our trip that much more enjoyable

Decent room, being close to the airport is not my favored location. Breakfast was fairly standard. Unfortunately they also lock down the TV inputs so you cannot use a person device like Google TV

Snacks/Refreshments throughout the day until gone. Plus a pool and it was closed during our stay

Great little Gem just on the outskirts of downtown. Friendly Staff and the rooms were a great value. You could tell the were recently updated. With Uber drivers a round no need to drive to historic downtown

I would give a 5 star rating but there was no TV or wifi for most of the evening and night and the only answer we received was it will be on within the hour, other than that and I am sure it doesn't happen often this place is great

You get a real breakfast that was yummy. Plus we spoke to other travelers and they were nice. Parking is tight though you have to park in the overflow next door. Pretty fountain with lights in front

Good clean room, very comfortable bed I wanted to stay a sleep and nice staff. We checked in on April Fools Day and the lady at the reception desk got us good I still remember her name

Wow!! This hotel exceeded expectations in every way. The room was immaculate and every detail was thought of. The pool and fitness center were conveniently located and in great condition

This was such a nice hotel! Room for 6 to sleep; having the two separate sleeping/living areas is wonderful, and the sleek decor gives off a low-key “penthouse suite” vibe- probably as close as you can get on a family budget anyway!! The free breakfast in the morning is really quite nice (for processed food, you know), coffee is piping hot, and the elegance of the dining area really makes the experience...

We stayed for our army marriage retreat and we had an amazing time here. The breakfast is perfect with a bonus of freshly made omelettes of your choice. Our room was clean and beautiful. The property is well maintained

The parking garage on site was 25 a night (which is a little high), but was covered and connected directly to the hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay

All the staff were extremely nice. The complimentary drinks at night definitely a bonus. This place is close to everything and there’s an amazing walking trail with great views

It is next to the ocean and fountain; tons of good restaurants nearby (just make sure you make a reservation in advance, and I mean really, really in advance). The hotel offers valet parking and free bicycle rentals

The rooms are large and comfortable. and quiet! Daily breakfast to suit your requirements and the daily wine and cheese hour was such a luxurious addition. Their rooftop patio is a wonderful oasis

Perfect location, within walking distance of the market, authentic downtown Charleston restaurants such as Poogan’s porch and more. The HarborView inn has an amazing waterfront view of Charleston

The rooftop area is great for hanging out (unfortunately it was raining when we were here and we couldn't use the area) and the ground floor also has a lounge area for hanging out and eating

Every morning the breakfast was wonderful, warm and served in the room. Don't hesitate because the construction is closest to the water. The noise is not a big deal and occurs very rarely

I don't know how to do this (other hotels can't do the same) but here the hotel staff OWN the customer experience. It made a difference and made my entire trip special

It's true that this occurred at 7 in the evening, but it's also true that a sticker in their elevator encourages guests to grab a coffee 24/7. If you're going to offer all-day coffee, it needs to be drinkable all day

I'm guessing that the coffee was brewed fresh for breakfast but not replaced throughout the day. It's such a simple thing to do and much appreciated by the guests. Everything else about our stay was good

But that's exactly the case for Tru by Hilton Charleston Airport. After enjoying a nice dinner at a Charleston restaurant, we returned to the hotel to relax in our room

On the way to our room I attempted to get a cup of coffee from the carafes located in the lobby. I sampled both types of coffee offered and both were room temperature

Tru offers a minimal room experience, but that doesn't bother me. I actually like that I can roll the desk around the room to use it anywhere and any way I choose

But the room was clean, the shower was hot, and everything worked properly. We had to check out too early to enjoy breakfast, so I can't comment on that

Convenient location. Nice staff. Pool and open area are very nice. Bar is fun. Parking is a bit congested and not easy.

However, complimentary drinking water was available at the front desk, and a microwave was also accessible. The bathroom fan made a friction noise when operating, so I chose not to use it

The hotel was great and the staff were really good. My room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The pool looked lovely and the outside area was good to sit in. Having a coffee bar was great in the morning.

The front desk acknowledged me by name every time I passed through the lobby and always asked if they could do anything for me. The decor is bright and upscale. The bar and restaurant created a welcoming vibe

My room was immaculate and comfy. The concierge floor is the way to go. The private lounge is a big plus. I will stay here every time I'm back in Charleston

He realized it was broken, and they moved us to a different room, even though we didn't ask for it. These things made a big impact on our stay, we will definitely choose Marriott for all our stays

This is a top-tier Marriott! Latricia at the front desk is a gem and gave us the warmest of welcomes. The property is freshly-renovated and the rooms were smartly designed, comfortable and quiet

We never got up early enough to enjoy the breakfast buffet but I did a quick twirl of the offerings right around close. They looked pretty typical, nothing standout, but a nice ($17) option

My daughter and I had an incredible experience at this hotel, huge thanks to Maria, the front desk associate. She was very friendly, accommodating, and offered different options

She asked what was my daughter's favorite color and later at evening asked her to look outside, the whole hotel was glowing pink! My daughter truly felt like a little princess
