Marriott's BeachPlace Towers Mini-hotel

We stayed for 5 nights in an ocean facing 1 bedroom villa. It was gorgeous! The room was a great size and very well stocked with towels. Although we did arrive after a stressful travel day wanting to shower and clean up but all of the bathroom toiletries (shampoo conditioner soap) were completely empty and we had to call down and get new ones.

The view to the ocean was beautiful but the furniture was very bare and uncomfortable if you are sitting there enjoying the sunset for an hour or so. Would recommend this as a point for the staff to address asap.

The pool was well maintained with a lot of activities and friendly staff through out the day. We frequented the pool bar where Jose was a friendly familiar face through the week and always remembered our order (frozen rum runners👏)

The hotel is in a great location, a short walk to the beach, close to main bars and restaurants, and the CVS downstairs is a life saver for water, beer, wine, and snacks to take to the beach! I was very happy with that location above all else.

The staff at the front desk was not very well trained or knowledgeable. We went to them for questions on how the water taxi works and no one was able to give us an answer because the one person that knew was on break. They were overall fine but would seriously recommend some more training on local sites and questions.

Overall, we would return to the Marriott and hope to return soon!

We had an incredible stay at Marriott BeachPlace Towers in Fort Lauderdale! From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing friendly, attentive, and always going above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
The beachfront access is unbeatable just steps away from the sand and ocean, perfect for morning walks or spending the whole day soaking up the sun. The pool area was absolutely beautiful. It was spacious, clean, and relaxing with stunning views of the beach.
There were daily activities to keep things fun and engaging, and the location couldn’t be better. You’re right in the heart of it all, with plenty of great restaurants, cafes, and shops within walking distance no car needed!
This stay exceeded our expectations, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

Our stay was absolutely beautiful, with a view from either side of the building. The workers were incredibly kind and down to earth. My only qualm is the price of the pool deck food, but that is to be expected given the location. Overall phenomenal experience!

Great location, a little confusing to find your way in if you haven't been there before. I did take away 1 star because they are "tight" (cheap) about their pool/ beach towels. Your room will only get 3 towels & you are expected to reuse them all week... which is pretty unreasonable since 1 day at the ocean they become sea misted & sandy. So basically you will reuse stinky towels, spend time washing them on vacation or pay them a fee to use more towels. There is a "towel bar" at the pool, but it was only open 1 day for the entire week we stayed there... just dumb & did not create a resort like feel. Otherwise they offer some fun activities & the pool is nice (hot tubs needed chemical attention badly). Overall a good stay & since I'm more about the ocean, then pool & hot tubs - it worked for me. Additionally... bring your own umbrella or shade cover, you'll need it on the beach. Marriott offers complementary chairs but umbrellas are $30/day.

The Marriott property was clean and staff were always helpful. We were pleasantly surprised regarding the quality of the room as we were a party of 5 (3 kids 15 yrs and older). No restaurant in hotel however many options just as close and actually in same building.

My family enjoyed a week at the Towers. We had a 2 bedroom villa which was huge. The lock off room is very spacious with a king bed, sofa, and mini kitchen. The main bedroom features a kitchen, washer and dryer, sitting area, and a huge bedroom. The mattress was firm which I loved.

The location is great- one block from the beach and on the main drag. Plenty of shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

Cons: the elevators can get packed. The hotel has 19 floors, so the wait for space can be long.

Housekeeping carries a fee.

Checkout time is 10 am which I find a little crazy. I was able to extend our time to 11 am.

Guests play the towel game on pool chairs. The hotel has a sign prohibiting this behavior, but I witnessed no enforcement.

We’ve stayed here several times and like how close it is to everything you could need. We have a canal facing balcony to relax on in the afternoon. We had a later flight and the front desk and staff were so helpful to have us leave luggage so we could still

Other than a lot of construction going on the stay was amazing.

I expected ocean view. We did not get that. Very disappointed about that.
