The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach Hotel

Let’s get the bad out of the way first. Room service food that I ordered was $50 and the chicken strips and fries came from the in house restaurant and they are hard as a rock. Not something that’s okay from a 5 star resort. Also, regarding deposits, that I didn’t know until I checked in. They take a $200 deposit for EACH night you stay. Not only that, but I checked out a month ago now and I still haven’t received it back because I used a debit card.

The good: Everything else is amazing. Top tier service from the moment you arrive to when you leave. Views are stellar depending on your room choice and the luxury beach view room I stayed in was incredible. Only about a ten minute walk from the beach and you are near Luxury Row and many other great shops.

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach, offers an exceptional stay. The suites are spacious, modern, and beautifully designed with breathtaking ocean views. The amenities, including the infinity pool and well-equipped fitness center, are top-notch. Staff provided outstanding service, making us feel welcomed and well cared for throughout the stay. The location is perfect—just a short walk to Waikiki Beach and great dining and shopping options. Highly recommend it for anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing experience in Waikiki!

Luxury, comfort and service. Modern, high end design throughout, from valet, to pools, to rooms and on site dining. Exceptional service provided by the staff, from concierge to housekeeping. Personalized service, attention to detail, and a warm welcome. Prime location - walking distance to dining, shops and the beach. Top-tier service, and a quieter, refined experience compared to some of the busier resorts in the area.

Closer to the beach. It was about a 6 min walk, so not terrible, I just love an ocean view hotel room!

The ritz Carlton indeed lives up to its name. The quality of service is superb -
From the lobby to the restaurants and everything in between they treat you with respect and love.
The rooms are extremely comfortable with beautiful views.
There is nothing but good things to say about everyone who works here.
Thankful to be able to stay in such an amazing environment.

We had the most wonderful experience at this hotel. The service they provide is next level incredible! The concierge has so much knowledge and were amazing at helping us book cars and restaurants and giving us a tons of options on what to do. The hard part was choosing from the list. The facilities and room were perfect and well maintained. I also enjoyed that there was a kids and adults only pool. The view from our room was amazing. They are also extremely diligent in following Covid protocol (even though that sadly means no buffet breakfast!). An expensive hotel that’s worth every cent!

Staff was incredible. I was reluctant to use valet parking as $40 a day was steep, but I’m glad we did. Everyone was extremely accommodating and took time to get to know us, make recommendations and make us feel at home. Thank you for an incredible Honey Moon experience!

The hotel is nice. I like the gym, swimming pool and restaurants. The breakfast menu is not amazing but...

The view is great.

Worth the money. The hotel is amazing and they really take care of you. They upgraded our room and left little chocolates and cookies everyday. Additionally every meal from breakfast to dining and drinks we had was all exceptional.

The main reason my first stay in Hawaii was so great was because of this hotel. As soon as I stepped out of the car, the lady greeted me and placed a lei around my neck. Upstairs at the lobby, I had a warm conversation with Mindy. They upgraded my room because it was my friend's birthday which was fabulous. The room was modern, clean, spacious, and had a great view (not beach front but it was still good). It had everything, including a microwave and washer/dryer. They kept giving me several bottles of water and pieces of chocolate everyday. I was able to use the gym and pool at any time. They even had two hot jacuzzis next to the pool. I especially liked the fact they checked for your vaccination card to use the gym which made me feel safe. The staff were all friendly, especially the staff in the drop-off area. They would always greet you and open the car door for you every time. The gesture I appreciated most was the fact they let me stay until 8pm since my flight was not until 10:30pm. No other hotel does that. Yes, this hotel is very pricey but if you want to have the best experience at a hotel in Honolulu, this is the one to choose.
