This resort is HUGE! Neither me nor my husband hand any idea it was as large as it is prior to booking there. Anything you can possibly need can be found right on the grounds. Restaurants, shopping, a general store, you name it, all right in the property. My husband and I prefer sight seeing and mingling with locals, but had it not been for that we honestly didn't have a reason to leave the resort...

Got to the resort and had no water for a couple hours in the whole resort. Got into our room and noticed one of the pillows was dirty and had some kind of brown marks on it. Customer service was great, I had an issue with a 3rd party booking service that shorted me a day, and the front desk agent was able to get me an extra night in the same room despite zero notice. Right at beach front, a great location for water playing. The hotel is a huge set of buildings that may be the largest in Honolulu. It’s a little far from the city center, about 20 minutes walk for groceries and restaurants. Good for family events.

Couple of things about this hotel everyone should be aware of. 1) you will need to pay close to $60 for resort fee, in which I believe is ripoff. 2) amenities are not great, so you will need to bring extras of what you need. 3) no water. 4) they are under construction! Rooms very dated and need update, several mystery charges to my visa after we checked out too. Pool area and staff were very pleasant.

While the staff was quite friendly and the lobby area was very nice, I was quite disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the rooms for the price I paid. The room smelled damp and musty and Housekeeping did not vacuum my room the entire stay. The elevators, areas in front of the elevator, and hallways were full of sand daily. When we checked in, there were some stains on the sheets and the floor was not cleaned very well. For a few days they would run out of towels. The staff treated us well though and the location was nice within the city.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The location was central and it was easy to access tourist spots. The beach was right in front of the hotel and they even lent us bodyboards for free, so we were able to enjoy the ocean to the fullest!

This hotel is just so beautiful! Located literally on the beach. It worked out for us since we brought our baby with us, whenever we needed to head back to the room for nap time, it was just a couple of steps away. The pool is small but the views are so stunning. The only thing I dislike was the towels on the pool chairs to make it known as it being “used” while nobody is near the chairs for hours...

Great location. The beach in front of the hotel is not impressive. The pool is too small and too crowded. Children splashing around. That’s ok but it really needs an adults only pool.

I use the Hilton Garden Inn for its location and facilities which suit my needs as a solo traveller. The access to shopping, transport and beach is its attraction. Staff are accommodating and rooms very comfortable.

Very good! It is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although it is not so luxurious, the people and environment here make you feel very comfortable. It is very suitable for vacation. The ambiance at check in was very nice, since it is a fancy hotel, but it had a lot of historical features, items and artwork. The place kind of felt more like a nursing home in that it was a bit old fashioned, but the engraved doors, beautiful room setup and professional attitude of the staff was a refreshing experience overall.

I stayed in a club room. I was very grateful that a room was prepared for me even though it was the morning. I was able to use the lounge immediately after checking in, and was able to spend a relaxing time while looking at the wonderful view.

The price was reasonable for a day of fun and a place to sleep. However, I can feel the difference with a 5-star hotel. I'd like to use it again for a short stay.

The breakfast on the 21st floor, oceanfront, was amazing. You could choose from three main dishes every day, plus bread, pound cake, drinks, and fruit were buffet style. The hotel is also close to ABC Store, the Honolulu Cookies shop, and the beach, so it's recommended for those who want to relax during their stay.

The location is excellent, and you can reach Waikiki Beach right outside. The room is a bit small, but compared to other hotels, it is worth the money. There is only valet parking for parking, so you can prepare some change and give it to the parking guy. I won't give it to the parking front desk if you only collect and put the key.

The hotel is located on Waikiki Commercial Street, next to the beach. There is direct access to the beach from the swimming pool. There are many commercial restaurants and shops around, which is very convenient. The room is relatively large, the room type is a bit old, the overall hygiene is good, and the price can be a little cheaper.

The front desk was very friendly and gave me coupons for consumption downstairs. The location is super good, downstairs is the beach, and I was upgraded to a sea view room on the third floor. 24-hour valet parking is $60. The shopping mall opposite has a full range of brands, so there is no need to go to the outlet mall.

The hotel is located on Waikiki Beach Commercial Street in Oahu Island. There are many commercial restaurants around it, and it is very convenient to travel. It is about 20 kilometers to the airport, Pearl Harbor, and Hanauma Bay. It costs about $30 to take a taxi. There are also buses. The room is large, very new, clean and tidy. Check-in and check-out were smooth, the towels and slippers were thick and fluffy, and the small details were well thought out, which made my heart full. We were in the penthouse on the top floor and the views were absolutely amazing!!! The room was clean and had so many amenities….room service was great and did a wonderful job cleaning the room and restocking. For most of the stay this has been a normal, as good as expected, hotel. Last night, we realized that our transportation today would be more complicated than expected. Roy (at the front desk) spent an hour calling places and trying to find us the most effective/affordable option. I absolutely will check here first when I come back.

One of the friendliest hotels on the planet. They really know the meaning of aloha. They greet me by name every time I walk in the door.
