We loved the hotel! It was very accessible to the beach, shops, and dining. We had an awesome view. We happened to be there during the tsunami warning and the hotel was awesome with communicating with us and keeping us safe. Gina did a great job with cleaning our room every day. Anything we asked for she did it. The only one star I would give is for parking. $72 per day id ridiculous to charge your...
This resort is HUGE! Neither me nor my husband hand any idea it was as large as it is prior to booking there. Anything you can possibly need can be found right on the grounds. Restaurants, shopping, a general store, you name it, all right in the property. My husband and I prefer sight seeing and mingling with locals, but had it not been for that we honestly didn't have a reason to leave the resort...
Got to the resort and had no water for a couple hours in the whole resort. Got into our room and noticed one of the pillows was dirty and had some kind of brown marks on it. The showers are terrible the water pressure is not it. The kalia tower is very old and needs some up keep and remodeling. The other towers look10x better. Location is great! Right on the Beach! They have a great 4 min firework...
Customer service was great, I had an issue with a 3rd party booking service that shorted me a day, and the front desk agent was able to get me an extra night in the same room despite zero notice. The rooms and resort area are amazing, the food and mini stores allow you to stay in the area without needing to drive somewhere for food or other basic necessities. Parking is pretty expensive, but it's probably...
Everything is nice in Hilton. We enjoyed our stay here. Please notice that check in time is at 4 pm.
Right at beach front, a great location for water playing. The hotel is a huge set of buildings that may be the largest in Honolulu. It’s a little far from the city center, about 20 minutes walk for groceries and restaurants. Good for family events.

good hotel central location and modern
The Sheraton Waikiki delivered everything. The location was perfect with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The pools provided fun and relaxing space for everyone with great views to Waikiki beach.
Wonderful pool and perfect location!
Amazing, can't wait to go back to.
I booked this hotel for my dad. He kept raving about the hotel’s location and how close it is to everything else for sightseeing and nightlife.
Best hotel on Waikiki. Location, rooms, and pool all the best on the *****.

Excellent location just steps from the beach, with fantastic hotel amenities. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering great recommendations on where to go and what to eat. Highly recommended for your trip!
Second time staying here, again everything is nice and winderful
the hotel is located at a super convenient location right at the heart of Waikiki Beach. Hotel staff was nice too.
Wonderful stay with memorable !
Awesome location and close to the beach. Need more details on the information for example where is the family pool direction etc.
Check in staff could have explained procedures better and let you know what amenities were available to use such as towels for the beach and beach chairs. Food at DK steakhouse was average but very expensive. Service at the pool was great. Location was good close to the beach. Be aware of the resort fee of $55 American.

Service was great, location is superb. The facility itself is outdated and old. Nonetheless, can't beat the location.
I usually book with the Marriott down the street whenever I’m in Waikiki but I opted to try the Hyatt for the first time; it was also a little cheaper than the Marriott the day that I went. I got a King room with a city view on the 7th floor. The room was large, clean and one of the corners of the tower so it had a curving layout. Overall the room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was cold. My...
Very convenient! Just across the street, you can access to Waikīkī Beach. Musubi Cafe around the corner. Hotel room quite big. Suitable for family.
Nice location, clean and comfortable.
Couple of things about this hotel everyone should be aware of. 1) you will need to pay close to $60 for resort fee, in which I believe is ripoff. 2) amenities are not great, so you will need to bring extras of what you need. 3) no water. 4) they are under construction! I was waken up at 6am on daily basis, sometimes it continues through out the night (post 10pm!). 5) what I would say is that...

Great location and reasonably priced compared to surrounding hotels.
Excellent friendly knowledgeable staff..!
Awesome location and services. Everyone was friendly and facilities looked decent. It's a bit old but most hotels in Wakiki are somewhat outdated so we could actually compromise this part.
Safe for solo travelers. Easy walk to all major tourist areas. Great bars in surrounding areas.
Heart of Waikīkī So comfortable accommodation I’ll be back here
Rooms very dated and need update, several mystery charges to my visa after we checked out too. Pool area and staff were very pleasant.

While the staff was quite friendly and the lobby area was very nice, I was quite disappointed with the lack of cleanliness of the rooms for the price I paid. The room smelled damp and musty and Housekeeping did not vacuum my room the entire stay. The elevators, areas in front of the elevator, and hallways were full of sand daily. It seems there was minimal effort in terms of cleanliness. I wiped...
When we checked in, there were some stains on the sheets and the floor was not cleaned very well. For a few days they would run out of towels. The staff treated us well though and the location was nice within the city.
The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The location was central and it was easy to access tourist spots. The beach was right in front of the hotel and they even lent us bodyboards for free, so we were able to enjoy the ocean to the fullest!
The hotel is very convenient. I will book it again if I have the chance to go to Hawaii again! ☺️ The staff are polite and friendly. I am very satisfied!

Very good and historical hotel, but needing some reforms. Banyan rooms are really, really small and generically old. Also, these rooms don’t have a balcony…
Nice room, but the front desk was terrible.
Perfect location. Rooms clean and beds comfy. Great breakfast but should have included in package. Daily charge very expensive. Naive about the daily resort charge which made it a very expensive stay, you’re not made aware until check out. Great holiday though. Will be back but better prepared for hidden charges
Perfect experience for our stay
Hotel staff very friendly, nice, maintained cleaned, lots of people coming and going. Pools close at 6pm Feet away from actual beach .. ocean water very WARM, FRESH feeling. Balcony was closed due to “safety reasons” -sucked If you walk/drive down towards HONOLULU ZOO there’s actual MAN MADE rock boarder .. where KIDS can swim freely … WAVES BLOCKED BY ROCKS. This hotel is just so beautiful! Located literally on the beach. It worked out for us since we brought our baby with us, whenever we needed to head back to the room for nap time, it was just a couple of steps away. The pool is small but the views are so stunning. The only thing I dislike was the towels on the pool chairs to make it known as it being “used” while nobody is near the chairs for hours...

Great location. The beach in front of the hotel is not impressive. The pool is too small and too crowded. Children splashing around. That’s ok but it really needs an adults only pool.
Good although a little busy vacation resort. Check in procedure a little stressful as desk systems seem not to work well.
Very close to beach and great service!
Beachfront, it is suitable for friends
On Waikīkī Beach, close to everything you need, and great service. Thank you Outrigger Reef!
No complains but the unit facing to the street is not acceptable. It got busy with the grocery trucks from 5am.

Location is excellent.  There are electrical water pot and Microwave in the room.  Across the street, there is Target.  One block away from Waikiki beach. The swimming is kind of small.
The hotel locatio is so good and close to waikiki beach. The hygiene condition has room for improvement but in overall acceptable.
Perfect location where you can easily access to beach, restaurants and shops. The room is wide, clean and well-equipped. However, the staffs are not quite helpful so this should be much improved.
The room is clean and relatively new compares to other hotels newby. Just that the hotel seems to be under construction during our stay with some noise in the afternoon, night time were fine thou.
I use the Hilton Garden Inn for its location and facilities which suit my needs as a solo traveller. The access to shopping, transport and beach is its attraction. Staff are accommodating and rooms very comfortable.
The old lady with white hair was very rude and asked me to pay $500 more. When I asked why, she just said it was because of the rules. We protested and tried again. And she never apologized.

Very good! It is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although it is not so luxurious, the people and environment here make you feel very comfortable. It is very suitable for vacation. There are shops and a private swimming pool right outside the hotel, which is very convenient. The valet parking staff were very nice. Highly recommended.
The ambiance at check in was very nice, since it is a fancy hotel, but it had a lot of historical features, items and artwork. The place kind of felt more like a nursing home in that it was a bit old fashioned, but the engraved doors, beautiful room setup and professional attitude of the staff was a refreshing experience overall.
The hotel and grounds are stunning. The staff were attentive and very friendly. The rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated with fresh towels and beds made daily. Guests here can share space with the Sheraton Hotel, which is a nice bonus. It's a popular spot, so beach and pool lounges can be tricky at times, but the staff will try to accommodate. We enjoyed the early mornings at the coffee bar...
We stayed here having booked through the Fine Hotels Collection with AX Platinum. As such, we got an upgraded room overlooking the ocean, free daily breakfast and some cash credit to use on the property. Very outdated hotel. mountain view room was dark, and mountain is not diamond head - just a small hill view. Staff are friendly.
The location is very good although if I go back and decide to stay in Waikiki again I would choose the Hilton Village instead. Looooved this hotel so much!!! Going to miss the heated toilet seat and bidet in the bathroom. Room was spacious and ocean front was beautiful. Love how you can open the windows completely. I stayed in a club room. I was very grateful that a room was prepared for me even though it was the morning. I was able to use the lounge immediately after checking in, and was able to spend a relaxing time while looking at the wonderful view.
It was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. King room with L-shaped couch was best for my husband and me as we had room to rest in between activities and adventures. The price was reasonable for a day of fun and a place to sleep. However, I can feel the difference with a 5-star hotel. I'd like to use it again for a short stay.
The breakfast on the 21st floor, oceanfront, was amazing. You could choose from three main dishes every day, plus bread, pound cake, drinks, and fruit were buffet style. The hotel is also close to ABC Store, the Honolulu Cookies shop, and the beach, so it's recommended for those who want to relax during their stay.
The location is excellent, and you can reach Waikiki Beach right outside. The room is a bit small, but compared to other hotels, it is worth the money. There is only valet parking for parking, so you can prepare some change and give it to the parking guy. I won't give it to the parking front desk if you only collect and put the key.
The ocean view room had the best view! The room was spacious and clean, so I was very satisfied! However, I was a little disappointed that there was no kettle or microwave in the room, and the shower was weak.
This is not bad for a medium range - A pity of the way to hotel is designed only the balcony hallway outside the room faces toward the Waikiki Beach, so there is no view inside the room. Regardless, things are alright.
This was a last minute booking because our flight got delayed so we wern't expecting that much, but he hotel was very clean and nice, and the staff were very kind. Very good for the price!!

The hotel is located on Waikiki Commercial Street, next to the beach. There is direct access to the beach from the swimming pool. There are many commercial restaurants and shops around, which is very convenient. The room is relatively large, the room type is a bit old, the overall hygiene is good, and the price can be a little cheaper.
The front desk was very friendly and gave me coupons for consumption downstairs. The location is super good, downstairs is the beach, and I was upgraded to a sea view room on the third floor. 24-hour valet parking is $60. The shopping mall opposite has a full range of brands, so there is no need to go to the outlet mall.
Absolutely best location ever . Stayed here twice and it was good experience .
I will definitely stay at this hotel when I come to Hawaii! There are only a few hotels on the beach! I can spend the whole day by the pool!
The hotel room is ok, but there is basically no sound insulation. The noise downstairs will last until the early morning. Those who have trouble sleeping can look for other hotels. The location is very good. The restaurant downstairs is always lined up and the taste is not bad.
The hotel is in a great location, right in the middle of the commercial street, and it is very convenient to go shopping and eat. The hotel was in such a great location that we were able to tour Hawaii very efficiently!!! It has become such a favorite hotel that we will definitely book again the next time we come!!!
It's centrally located and convenient. There were no problems finding food or cafes.
The hotel is located on Waikiki Beach Commercial Street in Oahu Island. There are many commercial restaurants around it, and it is very convenient to travel. It is about 20 kilometers to the airport, Pearl Harbor, and Hanauma Bay. It costs about $30 to take a taxi. There are also buses. The room is large, very new, clean and tidy. It was upgraded to a sea view room, which is very good.
It's like a Hanting Home Inn opened downstairs in Qianmen... good location but low quality... n levels lower than the one in Big Island...
Everything went smoothly, except for the problem of extra charges during check-out. After the reservation service provider processed it, the hotel finally completed the refund. The hotel is in a great location.
Even though it was located in the middle of Kalakaua Avenue, which is a great place to go anywhere, it was quiet at night and I was able to relax. Access to the beach was also good. The Hawaiian Aroma Cafe next to the pool was stylish and I enjoyed happy hour there many times. I would like to stay at this hotel again.

First-class service, far exceeding the average American hotel
The best hotel on Waikiki Beach, with a great location and great service. I booked a room with two single beds. The sofa bed can also be opened into a single bed, which is suitable for families with children.
First of all, the location is perfect♪ The view and access are impeccable♪ I made the reservation for my son's family, and they really liked it, so it was worth it. I'd definitely like to use it again the next time I go♪ Thank you very much.
Check-in and check-out were smooth, the towels and slippers were thick and fluffy, and the small details were well thought out, which made my heart full. My children also said that the hotelier at the Halekulani was the kindest and most impressive, so it was the best. Next time, I want to stay from the first day.
Very good, but there are too many Japanese people, which makes it very quiet. But this is America! I still like the noisy feeling. But I am very happy and comfortable living here.
The facilities, service, and spa are all very satisfying. When we told them about a family celebration, they even gave us a surprise service. The pool and beach have a calming atmosphere and are geared towards adults.

For most of the stay this has been a normal, as good as expected, hotel. Last night, we realized that our transportation today would be more complicated than expected. Roy (at the front desk) spent an hour calling places and trying to find us the most effective/affordable option. I absolutely will check here first when I come back.
One of the friendliest hotels on the planet. They really know the meaning of aloha. They greet me by name every time I walk in the door.
