This hotel is just so beautiful! Located literally on the beach. It worked out for us since we brought our baby with us, whenever we needed to head back to the room for nap time, it was just a couple of steps away. The pool is small but the views are so stunning. The only thing I dislike was the towels on the pool chairs to make it known as it being “used” while nobody is near the chairs for hours...

Loved our stay at this hotel. They upgraded us to an ocean-view room. Make sure to book rooms inside the tower to ensure the rooms are not dated. The lobby area, restaurants and the access to beach were amazing. We stayed here having booked through the Fine Hotels Collection with AX Platinum. As such, we got an upgraded room overlooking the ocean, free daily breakfast and some cash credit to use on the property. Excellent experience at the Royal Hawaiian-- the location is wonderful with perfect views of diamond Head and best beach access. The rooms are good, and the food (especially breakfast) is great. The complex is a little dated but kept in very good condition. Extremely clean and daily housekeeping was of a very high standard. The Hilton lagoon was loved by the children. The apartment we stayed in was well set up and very comfortable - full kitchen and modern washer and dryer.

Overall this is a great place to stay in downtown Waikiki. The rooms are smaller and it is most definitely crowded… but the location is the key element with the Sheraton. Tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The pool is perfect for relaxing and there’s beach access. The girls at the front desk are very friendly. When we need anything, we feel very comfortable to ask, and they always tried their best to help. The location is close to everything, super convenient. Loving this resort! Everything about this place has been renovated. This is a diamond if you are able to get a room. There is an infinity pool with a great view of Waikiki Beach. Beware of hidden "resort fees", illegal in most countries other than the USA. These fees are NOT declared up front in online quotes, and then you get slugged with this mandatory surprise cost when you check in. Whilst not illegal in the USA because there is currently no law prohibiting this practice, it is devious and immoral. Be honest and up front about your actual costs, and tourists will return...

The expedia ads and pictures make this place look a lot nicer than it is. Be aware of $20 daily resort fee and $30 parking fee. Overall though, probably the most affordable place to stay in the heart of Waikiki

This review is for House Without a Key: I came here for an after-valentine's day dinner with my girlfriend. Drinks were great, the Mai tais are really as good as they say. Food was good, perhaps a little expensive. The atmosphere was remarkable! Great view and live music made for a great time

Very magical place. We stayed at the ocean front room on our honeymoon. You'll see beautiful ocean, diamond Head, sunset, with sound of waves and birds. In the evening, they have very classy Hawaiian music and hula show at the terrace downstairs by the beach. We could hear and enjoy the music from our Lanai in the evening. It was magical. Had dinner in one of the ballrooms for a fundraising event. Dinner was great, service was excellent. Grounds are clean. Hotel is high class (⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) with immaculate gardens and grounds. Restrooms are clean with bidet toilet seats. Hotel is on Waikiki beach strip, with ample shopping, restaurants and swimming. Expect to spend some money.
