When we checked in, there were some stains on the sheets and the floor was not cleaned very well. For a few days they would run out of towels. The staff treated us well though and the location was nice within the city.

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The location was central and it was easy to access tourist spots. The beach was right in front of the hotel and they even lent us bodyboards for free, so we were able to enjoy the ocean to the fullest!

Very good! It is the most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. Although it is not so luxurious, the people and environment here make you feel very comfortable. It is very suitable for vacation. The ambiance at check in was very nice, since it is a fancy hotel, but it had a lot of historical features, items and artwork. The place kind of felt more like a nursing home in that it was a bit old fashioned, but the engraved doors, beautiful room setup and professional attitude of the staff was a refreshing experience overall.

The best hotel on Waikiki Beach, with a great location and great service. I booked a room with two single beds. The sofa bed can also be opened into a single bed, which is suitable for families with children.

The Kahala is a very nice place to stay if you are looking for a resort on Oahu. I loved the beach front access and the balcony in the room. There were many Japanese speaking staff, the service was very good, the rooms were clean and the layout was easy to use, and the location was excellent! I stayed for 4 nights, but it was a little disappointing that no new amenities were provided each time (such as cotton swabs).

Right at beach front, a great location for water playing. The hotel is a huge set of buildings that may be the largest in Honolulu. It’s a little far from the city center, about 20 minutes walk for groceries and restaurants. Good for family events.

This hotel is just so beautiful! Located literally on the beach. I stayed in a club room. I was very grateful that a room was prepared for me even though it was the morning. I was able to use the lounge immediately after checking in, and was able to spend a relaxing time while looking at the wonderful view.

Nice place. Well kept and clean. They have a collection of items significant to the history of "the prince" with some history to go along. The restaurant is quite nice, with several happy hours from early to late. Live music in the lobby bar was better than most. We enjoyed our time there.

The breakfast on the 21st floor, oceanfront, was amazing. You could choose from three main dishes every day, plus bread, pound cake, drinks, and fruit were buffet style. The hotel is also close to ABC Store, the Honolulu Cookies shop, and the beach, so it's recommended for those who want to relax during their stay.

The location is excellent, and you can reach Waikiki Beach right outside. The room is a bit small, but compared to other hotels, it is worth the money. Great location. We got balcony room facing diamond head and it was totally worth it. The rooms were clean and was just pure bliss to sit in balcony facing zoo. You might some animals too. It's 2 min walk from Queen's beach and is surrounded by good breakfast options. The best part about hotel was the Knotts Coffee Roasters, we absolutely loved coffee and their banana toast. The second hotel on Oahu Island. It is much more lively than Prince's. The hotel has Chinese guides. The environment is very fashionable. The service is good. It is next to the zoo. Transportation, dining, shopping, and the beach are all very convenient.

Stayed here for a week. This place is terrific. Location is great. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The entire building is clean, quiet and well taken care of. Rooms are well outfitted. Came here for a week of relaxation. The hotel is beautiful, 2 bedroom suite was great BUT all we heard the entire time we were here was yelling and chanting and drumming of the employees on strike. The one bedroom is a nice size. Comes equipped with just about everything that you need, including a waher/dryer, which is handy. You, unfortunately, are away from the Hawaiian Village resort area and beach. The hotel itself is very nice, with friendly staff, that's doing an amazing job with the strike going on. Outside of all the racket,you hardly notice that there's anything going on.

The complex is a little dated but kept in very good condition. Extremely clean and daily housekeeping was of a very high standard. The Hilton lagoon was loved by the children. The apartment we stayed in was well set up and very comfortable - full kitchen and modern washer and dryer.

The location is excellent. The hotel breakfast tastes good, the egg rolls are rich in ingredients, the restaurant has a good view, there is a gym and swimming pool, and it takes less than half an hour to get to the airport.

Nice stay in an awesome location. Beach is right across the street. Lots of dining options nearby. Rooms are a somewhat worn, could use a coat of paint and some updates. Front desk staff is terrific, everyone is very friendly. Room refresh is unpredictable. They tell you: first is on the third day, then every other after that. Not sure what is defined as third day, but service is a bit hit and miss
