I only gave a 4 star review because the bed/pillows weren’t comfy at all. Otherwise everything else was 5 star. The room service was great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the pool/jacuzzi was perfect. The location is convenient to New York. My family enjoyed our stay there very much. We were upgraded to a suite that was very comfy minus the bed/pillows/pull out bed.

Great hotel in a brilliant location. A lot of NFL NHL NBA teams use this hotel. International Soccer teams Argentina to name one and English premiership teams too most recently Newcastle United. Clean spacious rooms. Good views over to NYC.

Beautiful hotel with awesome views of the river and NYC. I was there this past weekend for a seminar. I brought my mom here for her birthday weekend. Sadly I did not have a very good experience and it definitely did not meet my expectations. When I first arrived and checked in, I was quoted a larger amount then what I had booked for. I asked why the amount was a little more than two hundred dollars over. Room was very comfortable and I can not rate the breakfast as I did not have opportunity to try it. There was not complementary breakfast and base on the price and place my collogues stay, they did have a complementary breakfast for less money. Same area in Jersey City.

It’s a great hotel: comfortable, neat and classy. The pool is nice and not especially crowded; a great place for a kiddo to blow off some steam. The staff was friendly and graciously listened to my daughter try to check in her giant stuffed dragon to our room with us.

Enjoyed my stay here, room was clean and housekeeping was attentive. Elevators were quick for such a big building and food was decent. The daily credits that are part of the resort fee are useful. However, be sure to double check your checkout receipt. I luckily kept my receipts from the week (we only ate at the restaurant once per day, so it was easy to tell when the $30 daily credit wasn't applied...

Staying here with my significant other celebrating an anniversary was a dream. When checking in to our room, the senior front desk manager Melvin insured us with a memorable stay and beautiful room with amazing views of the city. With this hotel's location, you can go anywhere. I have to say this hotel deserves more recognition. I’m a New Yorker however I needed to stay here for a weekend conference! The king bed room was great and front desk was helpful. This hotel has destination charge of $15 per night extra, which can be credited for using high speed internet or gym or food and beverages. Also you can't combine multiple day credit into one single transaction.

The service was really nice at Conrad. Everyone was very friendly here. The place was quiet and organized which makes us feel composed and comfortable staying. To be honest we were surprised by how well the hotel is maintained since it was built for a while. The whole interior design is absolutely stunning and elegant. We made a quick trip to NYC and stayed here. It’s right next door to a PATH station that was accessible for my son who is in a wheelchair. One of my favorite hotels in the area. Rooms are small but very functional. Prices are reasonable. They have free snacks in the lobby. Also, they have a good rewards program, 1 free night for every 2 stays. The hotel on the top floor is rarely crowded, which is unusual for NYC.

The W in Downtown NY is very nice. There really isn't anything I can complain about. It seemed very nice, but there was just a little something missing that would have made it feel fantastic. However, staying there was a great experience and I would indeed recommend it.

This is an incredible example of a W hotel. The rooms are stylish as one would expect. The amenities are complete. The views are amazing (see below). Do note that when you enter the ground floor you need to head up to floor 5 which is where the check in is.

It was currently being renovated, but service is very nice and the rooms are also very good. Plus you get a great view from the breakfast buffet. I was very happy with my room. Bathroom was clean, bed was very comfortable. There was a problem with the remote control of the television, which was fixed within a few minutes.

Room was small as expected but extremely nice. Probably the biggest flat screen I've seen in a hotel. Also offered internet streaming on the TV ( had to use your own account though). Bathroom was very spacious with a large shower. Loses a star because the valet is $60 for 24 hours. Which isn't horrible but there is no in and out allowed and you are told to request the car 45-60 minutes before departure

Only good for the view else, you need to do self check in, even the staff is there! I feel that should just remove all staffs since there is a machine for self service, pointless to have them there. Secondly, room door so close to each other, good luck on your next door if the bang the door hard while you are sleeping. For our various visit in NYC and within 25 km to the west in NJ the apartments and parking availability makes Candlewood a great place. We have stayed here 5 times over 3 years and will come again. We recommend the top floor east apartment facing Hudson river.

I stay here when in NY for work. The rooms are always clean and have their own kitchen area which I like. It’s easy to get to from Manhattan by Path or ferry at Paulus Hook. It’s definitely pretty basic accommodation and you can tell as soon as you enter the reception area, nothing fancy here if people are used to higher end hotels.

A nice hotel to stay if you are looking to cook your food as it has a nice kitchen. It is located at the perfect spot in the city which gets you closer to train, mall and waterfront. You have all the amenities you would wish for including parking if you stay at Candlewood Suites and lots of complimentary stuff. For a professional, you get to print and scan your documents. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the parking garage. It's not right next door but a block away because there a large building in between them. Cozy place in a very busy part of town, but I got a great night's worth of rest!! The breakfast was kinda continental. Very good all the way around. The night and morning desk guys that I dealt with were very knowledgeable and helpful during my short visit. Great staff! Great location! Delicious breakfast! Free parking and many spots were available. Very close to train. They cleaned our room without any requests and the hotel is pretty clean in general. I’ll stay here again for sure.

A great place to stay! Nice accommodations, free breakfast and the staff are very helpful. Reasonable rates and the Hotel is in my own neighborhood! Plus it is within walking distance of a lot of stores for shopping and eating. An added bonus is it is near several bus stops and the subway.

Pleasantly surprized. The room though was small but spotless, current and well maintained. The queen sized bed was perfect. Breafast was nothing special, but plentiful, fresh and lots of choices. I'll be back.

So I am from another state and called to make a reservation, and explained my situation ,and I had a service dog. They were very friendly on the phone the man that took my call, and the girl at the desk was very nice. The hotel is good price and very beautiful inside. Do wish they had a pool. But good other than that. We enjoyed it

This is a great value hotel for Brooklyn. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy beds and nice size rooms and bathrooms for nyc. Bring some earplugs tho; the walls and doors are thin.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Brooklyn and convenient for travel into Manhattan via subway. Very clean and updated and the staff goes out of their way to make it a wonderful experience! Can't wait to come back.
