I only gave a 4 star review because the bed/pillows weren’t comfy at all. Otherwise everything else was 5 star. The room service was great. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing and the pool/jacuzzi was perfect. The location is convenient to New York. My family enjoyed our stay there very much. We were upgraded to a suite that was very comfy minus the bed/pillows/pull out bed.
Great hotel in a brilliant location. A lot of NFL NHL NBA teams use this hotel. International Soccer teams Argentina to name one and English premiership teams too most recently Newcastle United. Clean spacious rooms. Good views over to NYC.
Beautiful hotel with awesome views of the river and NYC. I was there this past weekend for a seminar. The seminar room was clean, the food was excellent and the staff was accommodating, professional and friendly. Special shout out to Lorraine at the front desk and Ben the concierge. Her customer service was greatly appreciated and Ben pointed me to some cool spots that Jersey City has to offer...
I brought my mom here for her birthday weekend. Sadly I did not have a very good experience and it definitely did not meet my expectations. When I first arrived and checked in, I was quoted a larger amount then what I had booked for. I asked why the amount was a little more than two hundred dollars over. I was told, it was just in case anything was charged to the room. (Not sure why I wasn't told...
Room was very comfortable and I can not rate the breakfast as I did not have opportunity to try it. There was not complementary breakfast and base on the price and place my collogues stay, they did have a complementary breakfast for less money. Same area in Jersey City.
It’s a great hotel: comfortable, neat and classy. The pool is nice and not especially crowded; a great place for a kiddo to blow off some steam. The staff was friendly and graciously listened to my daughter try to check in her giant stuffed dragon to our room with us.

Courtyard Jersey City Newport offers a fantastic location, just steps from the PATH station for easy access to Manhattan. The rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for business or leisure travelers. The staff is friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. While some guests mention minor issues with room temperature control and a lack of included breakfast, the hotel's convenient location...
We made a quick trip to NYC and stayed here. It’s right next door to a PATH station that was accessible for my son who is in a wheelchair. A quick walk around the corner was a beautiful view of Manhattan, along with a Roast’d coffee shop (fantastic!) and a Walgreens. Staff were friendly, and rooms were clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.
The staff is great. Very friendly. My room smelled very bad. I informed the GM and he had my room sprayed. Still smelled... One of the 2 elevators were out of service causing longer wait time. The location is great as well right on train line and center of city. I don't think I would stay again due to high price and problems.
Consider what you need from a hotel in Jersey City. If you’re looking for the Ritz, look elsewhere. The rooms are a bit dated, but if you’re looking for reasonably priced and clean rooms, convenient parking, and easy access to the PATH, then this is a great option. Front staff seemed nice and once again. Although very close to train station, could not hear train at all, likely since train is underground
Very close to Newport Path Station, direct to Manhattan Spacious room Jacuzzi and Pool felt very nice in December !
We just spent 4 nights here and overall great stay. The hotel is on a nice road with some good local restaurants nearby. The path station is right next door. Hotel was quiet, beds comfy, AC worked, room was spotless and clean and maid service was good. The style of hotel is typical of this star of hotel. The lounge area was lovely and had a great relaxing feel with a fire. Staff were always nice and...

Great location and right by the PATH train which makes it very easy to go into NY and skip all the traffic. Great service and very accommodating and kind and nice surprise for my wife’s birthday. We got a beautiful large room full renovated with the view of the Hudson River. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Plenty of shops and restaurants around, it’s in a great calm neighborhood I highly recommend...
Hyatt Regency Jersey City offers a fantastic combination of stunning Manhattan views and convenient access to New York City. Guests love the spacious, modern rooms and the breathtaking vistas of the skyline from their windows. The hotel's location near the PATH station makes commuting to NYC a breeze. Though some find the on-site dining options pricey, the overall experience is highly positive. Whether...
If you want amazing views of the NYC skyline, you won't find that in the city but you will here. Absolutely amazing. The PATH train is right next door, too, so you can easily get downtown. The service felt a little cold and the room we had was sub-par for Hyatt standards, but I suspect that was because we booked through a third party site. The rest of the hotel was great and we would stay again.
The lobby area was updated and clean but the cleanliness didn’t continue to the room. The room was spacious with a beautiful view but looked extremely worn for a 4 star hotel. The carpet and couch looked so gross. The bathroom seemed partially updated, but missed the mark on the shower/tub. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The plus was the location. Located across the river from...
We loved our stay. We got daily housekeeping. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Lots of space. The pool was clean and warm, and the gym facilities were nice and spacious. Parking near the facilities. The problem with the parking is that it is not adapted for big vehicles, I rented a big truck and ended up using the valet parking because getting in and out of parking facilities was a hassle. There...

I stayed here for 8 nights. When we checked in, the person checking us in was super helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help us. I booked a suite on the 12th floor with a queen bed and small pull out twin bed. The room was just perfect for my stay. We also had a kitchen and 2 closets! We had more than enough room to store our clothes. The laundry room is on the 12th floor and super convenient. It...
One of my favorite hotels in the area. Rooms are small but very functional. Prices are reasonable. They have free snacks in the lobby. Also, they have a good rewards program, 1 free night for every 2 stays. The hotel on the top floor is rarely crowded, which is unusual for NYC.
Our room was lovely and had a great view. The rooms were really big and spacious. The bed was super comfy! The TV had apps on there so you could watch netflix and Amazon prime. There was also an app so you could order food to your hotel room. Between 5 - 6pm they have snacks and wine in the main lounge which was a nice touch. There is also an easy to use coffee machine downstairs. The room was cleaned...
Stay was great, room was nice and comfortable. Bathroom was modern and very clean. Using modern NFC cards for room and elevator, giving some more confidence in security. Was unfortunately a little challenging to find, but at no fault of the business, due to current construction going on in the nearby area.
Good hotel with allegedly amenities. But, rooms size is small and paint color is not good. Otherwise, 20th floored Cafe is awesome. Wine with snacks at ground floor is awesome. Staff is friendly and helps you plan your trip. Good restaurants, offices, one world trade center, 9 11 Memorial are all 1 mind walking distance.
If like me you are not a celebrity or someone with millions in the bank and would like to spend the night in a nice and comfortable place with friendly staff looking after you, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It is close to tons of attractions and you are short subway ride away from many more. Would definitely be coming back to this place if I ever have to visit New York again anytime...

Location is 4 min walk to the 9/11 memorial. Great location near subways. Very clean and staff were awesome and polite and helpful. Loved the complimentary sparkling water and latte in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel with it’s wonderful...
Only good for the view else, you need to do self check in, even the staff is there! I feel that should just remove all staffs since there is a machine for self service, pointless to have them there. Secondly, room door so close to each other, good luck on your next door if the bang the door hard while you are sleeping. Location is good, but till I reach, then I saw a parking service but also not cheap...
My family and I went this past weekend for a couple of days and it was amazing. The location is awesome with great views that do not disappoint. The rooms were clean and a decent size. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is planning...
Great hotel in a good location. Close to a lot of subway stops. They say you can cast your device to the TV… but it never worked. Loved the water stations and the sparkling water in the lobby. Room was a good size and the bed was comfy. I would recommend this hotel for sure.
I received a text the day before check-in with the opportunity to upgrade our kitchen bedroom to a superior room with a view for a nominal fee. We took the upgrade. No complaints! Convenient location if you need to be in the city center. It was quiet and my room had a balcony overlooking the memorial. It looks like they're going to start building WTC 5 right across the street, so keep that in mind if you're traveling here sometime between 2022-2023 (this is a guess, but I'd ask before booking)

Great hotel, with friendly staff that really try to make your experience great. Rooms are very small and there’s not much room to do computer work; but otherwise I loved this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, well-located, and the vibe felt awesome.
Absolutely perfect location with great friendly staff! Better to stay in the Jersey city than staying in New York City. The rooms here are spacious with justice to your money. A great place to stay! Nice accommodations, free breakfast and the staff are very helpful. Reasonable rates and the Hotel is in my own neighborhood! Plus it is within walking distance of a lot of stores for shopping and eating. An added bonus is it is near several bus stops and the subway.
Pleasantly surprized. The room though was small but spotless, current and well maintained. The queen sized bed was perfect. Breafast was nothing special, but plentiful, fresh and lots of choices. I'll be back.
So I am from another state and called to make a reservation, and explained my situation ,and I had a service dog. They were very friendly on the phone the man that took my call, and the girl at the desk was very nice. The hotel is good price and very beautiful inside. Do wish they had a pool. But good other than that. We enjoyed it
This is a great value hotel for Brooklyn. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy beds and nice size rooms and bathrooms for nyc. Bring some earplugs tho; the walls and doors are thin.
Perfect place to stay when visiting Brooklyn and convenient for travel into Manhattan via subway. Very clean and updated and the staff goes out of their way to make it a wonderful experience! Can't wait to come back.
The Best Western Gregory in Bay Ridge is THE BEST place to stay when visiting New York! Exceptional staff; clean, great location, delicious breakfast (with a lot of choices); and did I mention, an exceptional staff!!!

I stayed here for work. I normally stay at 5 star hotels. Being objective the price, staff, facility, and location are all good. Close proximity to the PATH and mall. For our various visit in NYC and within 25 km to the west in NJ the apartments and parking availability makes Candlewood a great place. We have stayed here 5 times over 3 years and will come again. We recommend the top floor east apartment facing Hudson river.
I stay here when in NY for work. The rooms are always clean and have their own kitchen area which I like. It’s easy to get to from Manhattan by Path or ferry at Paulus Hook. It’s definitely pretty basic accommodation and you can tell as soon as you enter the reception area, nothing fancy here if people are used to higher end hotels.
A nice hotel to stay if you are looking to cook your food as it has a nice kitchen. It is located at the perfect spot in the city which gets you closer to train, mall and waterfront. You have all the amenities you would wish for including parking if you stay at Candlewood Suites and lots of complimentary stuff. For a professional, you get to print and scan your documents. This is a truly upscale hotel. The rooms are chic and spacious. The robes and slippers are really chic. A king size bed may have its own zip code! The king bed room was great and front desk was helpful. This hotel has destination charge of $15 per night extra, which can be credited for using high speed internet or gym or food and beverages. Also you can't combine multiple day credit into one single transaction.
This is a standard Marriott. The rooms are clean and reasonably spacious. The views from the highest floors can see the new One World Trade tower. The tubs don’t have even bottoms, which makes standing for a shower mildly uncomfortable. The lounge has a standard breakfast which I enjoy. Highly recommend! Convenient and courteous /attentive staff. Best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time.
The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the parking garage. It's not right next door but a block away because there a large building in between them. You have to pay $30.00 for overnight parking & every time you take your vehicle out you must pay an additional hourly rate which can add up. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Nice hotel. Nice big suite with 2 large flat screens. Warm cookie is a nice touch. I would have given this 5 stars, but front desk clerk at check in was less than friendly and wrote down the wrong password for Wi-Fi AND they make u buy water. It would be nice if they gave u at least 1 bottle.
Well maintained hotel. A bit unhappy with the check in and the employees at the front desk. That could use some improvement. But overall a nice clean place. Easy access to the City also.
We stayed here for a wedding nearby. Room was really nice...almost felt like a little suite. It had a dividing wall between the sitting area and the sleeping area. Staff and location are great, rooms not really. This is a hotel that wants to play luxury but isn't. Got a good deal and saw the trendy pictures and design rooms online but oh boy. Bathroom was clean, bed was very comfortable. There was a problem with the remote control of the television, which was fixed within a few minutes.
Room was small as expected but extremely nice. Probably the biggest flat screen I've seen in a hotel. Also offered internet streaming on the TV ( had to use your own account though). Bathroom was very spacious with a large shower. Loses a star because the valet is $60 for 24 hours. Has a market across the street and a Whole foods a couple blocks down, paired with a simple but capable kitchen this is incredible! Rate was very fair and hotel was clean and updated. Walls are thin just as other reviewers have mentioned so as long as you have respectable neighbors your fine. Our first night we...
Practical and inexpensive. We stayed there for one night. The room is for 2 people maximum - literally. There is only one bed and they don't provide any cots (but they're OK if you bring your air mattress to sleep up to 4). The floors are bare cement (very uneven - not that it matters, they are clean and that's all I care about, but it's kind of funny). Rooms are clean, the hotel smells like bleach...
Had a great stay here. Downtown neighbourhood is very quiet at night. Our room felt massive (by NYC standards). Loved having the little kitchenette and a balcony. Multiple subways are very close and there's a great corner store and restaurant right outside and across the street. Our room could have used a little rug beside the bed (it's concrete floors) but otherwise we were very happy. One thing...
very stylish rooms! its much more cosy then typical shitty big chain hotels in usa
+ location, price; - staff (rude or bored), noise (unberable in the city view rooms), room service (it doesn't exist)

Rooms were old but always clean and great for a short stay to visit NYC. Only real problem: The heating was activated automatically (depending on the outside temperature) and you couldn't turn it down. It was really hot in the room, to a point where we had to open multiple windows in the night and that during the winter, just to be able to sleep. It was such a waste of energy but the heating control...
Our room was big enough. Staff was friendly. The airport shuttle was super quick and comfortable. The room was cleaned everyday, new towels, new soap. The bed was really soft, so nothing comfortable for a longer stay. The negative feedback is about the breakfast. Everything was packed in the plastics. It was all the week the same food and everything was with sugar in it. There were apples and sometimes...
The staff here are amazing and hospitable. The building is old, but cool architecture and interesting rooms. No bugs, clean comfortable beds, and super close to anything you need. Free shuttle to and from airport, free breakfast in the morning and great room rates. If you are a picky A hole, don't come here. I personally loved it and will be back.
The rooms are older but clean, spacious and affordable. I had a queen which ended up being a suite with two queen beds in two separate room! Rooms clean, great ac & friendly accommodating staff. Great architecture too. Free breakfast, older building so inside could be refreshed However, totally fine, affordable. Free basic continental breakfast. (Good but wished they had eggs) & I found the neighborhood...
Welcoming, clean, comfortable. Good breakfast and reasonable price. Be prepared to park a couple of blocks away. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and will book here again.
Liked our stay there. Comfortable. Good Breakfast options. Recommended
