The most interesting elevator call system with touch screen to request the floor you want and then it directs you to that elevator. Worked very well once you understand it. I went to assist at one of my company's biggest annual corporate events in KC. The staff was wonderful! The ballroom looked amazing. All of the participants had a great time. Don't forget to tip your bartenders! Even if there is no tip jar and the bar is paid for... Drop a dollar or 2.

Would avoid using Booking.com for any future stay but enjoyed the hotel, just a massive shame we didn't book directly

The beds were very nice and the rooms are very high quality. I like the addition of the shopping center and union station is very close. The free shuttle service is great. My one concern is that the insulation between rooms could be better.

I was here for a convention and really enjoyed the experience. The hotel itself is beautiful. There is a comfortable lobby, and just upstairs another area sporting an impressive indoor fountain and waterfall. The meeting rooms were very pleasant to be in. The hotel's location is right next to the World War I Museum and other downtown attractions.

It may seem minuscule but I love the fact that check in takes literally 60 seconds when booked online. Also it’s the small things like complimentary bottled water and a coffee maker in the room. Good check in, there for a conversation but they planned games with or room keys and cancelled a perk we were given at check in. Also came back about 8 the restaurant was closed even though it said open till 10. Had to go sit in the bar area for meal. Seems they make rules and change them for who's convenience, not the paying client.

Cost if the room is a little steep for outdated rooms.. Sorry but tge smoking and non smoking rooms looks like where still living in the own 80s or 90s. I gave the location five stars because we were specifically visiting the casino on a junket. They have nice restaurants and the service was excellent. Not a great location if you are visiting the area because you will have to drive everywhere for non-casino food, drinks and fun. The walkable area is across the river.

This was a WONDERFUL respite after 10hrs on the road. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable. I enjoyed the easy access from the parking lot to the elevators. All the staff were also super friendly and the room price just couldn’t be beat.

The room I was given had some cosmetic issues if you looked closely and over scrutinized. However it was also a smoking room which tend to be rough around the edges to begin with. I can only comment on the casino as I have never stayed at the hotel. They have a big selection of games, old and new. Have won on a lot of machines here. They keep everything very clean. Never smells like I have been smoking cigarettes all day when I leave.

Ive stayed here alot. Mostly because it meets my needs and is convenient with the food service, tacos at the bar. LOCATION, The restaurants, highway, quiktrip nearby. Its a simple stay. Has the basics i need. Nice comfortable beds microwave soap shampoo towels. My rooms are USUALLY pretty good. Had one issue with a hair dryer otherwise have had no issues. Would stay here anytime.

For the 3 days I was there it only took an hour to get adjusted and feel like I was already known and every face felt like a familiar face instead of a stranger. We loved the hotel. Very clean. Other ratings complained of a smell but we thought it smelled fabulous and even asked what they do to make it so. They were very welcoming and helpful at the front desk. We ate at the Great Plains Cattle Company restaurant and highly recommend. We went for a local overnight stay/getaway. I highly recommend it for just that.

We had a great time! First time to a Casino, it was all a bit confusing at times for n00bs like us! We REALLY enjoyed the ceiling and the way that each individual area looked like a completely different building inside of the main building! The food was amazing & the crab legs and shrimp were spiced perfectly so there was no need for butter!

Nice place to stay in the middle of Kansas City. Very accommodating for almost anyone entertainment everywhere. Food is always nearby and the service and staff are top-notch. Whatever you do do not go to the 13th floor there's an elevator it will take you there don't go there if I told you why.... .

People make good places better. Chelsea and Greg make this hotel exceptional. They are truly good people and do what they can to help you. I would stay here again just for the staff. The only small negative would be hours of restaurant But there are other options so you don't go hungry.

The hotel was nice and convenient to the airport. The restaurant and bar on site was what pushed this experience up to a 4 for me. The food was good and the staff were all attentive. The breakfast buffet was also top notch. If you are in the area I would not hesitate in staying at this hotel.

This hotel is overall okay but not great. The gym is big and spacious, but needs to be cleaned badly. The beds are very comfortable, but when you walk in the room there is a sort of "wet sock" smell that blasts you in the face. It seems like they have a moisture problem. Nice comforter but the bed felt like two fulls side by side. Dim hallways and hard to find light switches in room. Great price though. Nice TV and full restaurant and bar downstairs.

Hotel is good with the basics, haven't had any issues but I haven't been wowed. Everything is pretty basic, and little things like crooked mirrors, odd lightning choices and such is okay but a little bit of an annoyance. Food can be a hit but lacks in service. Slow wait times and little to no attention turns me off after eating there 5 times.
