Reunion Resort & Golf Club

It’s hard to review a place that had some positives but so many negatives too! I’ve given the reunion a two/three star rating for that reason. Let’s start with the positives. We stayed at 1370 Centre Court Ridge (Building K) Unit #201. Room sizes were great, including the living area. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 children (under the age of 15), and we were comfortable. Overall the place was nice, but the kitchen had huge issues which really messed up our cooking plans! The toaster didn’t work, the kitchen sink was blocked which meant we only had one side of the sink to wash dishes and we couldn’t use the dishwasher because of the blocked sink !! Our plan was to eat breakfast in the apartment every day, plus at least two meals but with no functioning toaster or sink, this was not possible! This definitely put a dent in our budget as we had to eat out every breakfast and for the two planned meals, not to mention the hundreds of dollars we spent on groceries for nine people to eat in house!! Another really disgusting issue was the tiny ants all over the kitchen counters!! I’m not talking one or two, more like 40/50!!! We tried cleaning them away and used bug spray but it didn’t work! I even had a couple crawling on me!! We called the Reunion number that was provided but no one came!! By the time we left, still no one had come by. Such a disappointment, because I could have given this place a much better rating had they come and fixed the issues. Also, if you like a duvet when you sleep, bring your own because our apartment only had light quilts or just a sheet!! The accommodation had space for 8, but only 7 quilts were provided. Luckily we had a throw in the car for my nephew to use! Overall we were disappointed and will most likely not come back.
