Ramada by Wyndham Kissimmee Gateway Hotel

Only thing going for this place is the location and the kind staff plus the under $100 price

Otherwise: it’s so noisy, bring a sound making device if you’re sensitive

The rooms aren’t clean enough for me to feel relaxed for anything other than totally worn out sleeping after a park day (hair on the bathroom floor/in the bed)

Be careful using the water, it gets VERY hot VERY fast which is scary with young children. That being said, plenty of hot water and great water pressure

The size of the rooms are great and there’s a fridge and microwave which is great!

Really don’t love. I get it’s a cheap hotel, and we were just looking for a simple place to rest our heads. But good gosh, we got our keycards and headed over to the other side of the hotel only to discover they’d given us an already occupied room, and so we had to head back and get another room. Got to our new room, literally the loudest room possible right next to the hotel’s little hangout spot. Blasting The Office and can still hear the chaos outside. And frankly, the room is underwhelming. Honestly just a bit ticked and am not super happy with the rooms or service. Thanks for hearing out my rant. If you stay here, I hope you like walking and noise and a low-quality room. See the pic for the awful low-privacy view from our room.

We don’t understand how this hotel is getting great reviews. We chose this hotel because of the great recent reviews and the lower price compared to nearby alternatives. The front entrance to the hotel is old and musty. We didn’t care as long as the room was clean… which it wasn’t. We got to our room which was the last building to the left of the front entrance. It was 338, I believe, main level directly in front of the gate to the pool. It was extremely loud with no sound barrier from the outside. People were up yelling and screaming all hours of the night leading into the morning. The room was extremely bright with flood lights streaming on to the wall even after the thick 70s style curtains were closed. The furniture was all falling apart and dirty. My fiancé used the shower (with flip flops on) and there was absolutely no hot water. The bathroom looked like something out of a crack house. There was a light coming from inside the ceiling of the bathroom which also lit up the room all night. The toilet flushed every 10 minutes. There was black curly hairs all in the shower and floor. The air conditioner dripped dirty water on to the bathroom floor as well. The bed was clean with some stained sheets like mascara but that’s hard for anyone to get out. The pillows were big and hard and the mattress made screeching noises and was even harder than the pillows. The blankets were starchy and musty.
DO NOT STAY HERE.
