+ The Millennium Maxwell House Hotel has so much history, absolutely an amazing place to stay! Location was less than 10 minutes from Broadway, very Uber/Lyft friendly. The rooms do need updated with refrigerators (When staying for several days this is a necessity with no food being available in late hours) & possibly microwaves (There was one in the hallway by the elevator) My room had a tremendous view of the Nashville skyline, and with being on the 6th floor I was able to keep my curtain open the whole time to look at the skyline day and night. My room and the hotel in general were found to be very clean. When I walked into my room I had no doubt about the cleanliness. I saw people everyday cleaning some part of the hotel.
- No refrigerator in the room. No room service available.

The location is reasonable, but the room needs a lot of work. The fixture of the tub fell off, the carpet and ceiling was terribly stained, and the beds would ONLY be comfortable to a caveman. Plus we were invaded horribly by ants in the bathroom. I took a video and showed it at check out and had one lady dismiss it as that she too has ants at her house. We were on the 3rd floor!!! And they were coming out of the tiles of the shower. Thankfully we went site seeing majority of the 2 days we were there or it would've been even more miserable. And had we stayed longer in Nashville we would've relocated to another place to stay. Thankfully, there was another Lady that completed my check out and refunded some of our money. For Her we appreciate, but hopefully they will fix the problems, otherwise we won't be booking a stay there again. Not worth the money at all. Also there wasn't a refrigerator or microwave in our room either. Again thankfully we weren't in our room and ate out, but would've been nice to be able to keep some drinks cold.

+ It was quite for the most part.
- Being lied too. They said there was shuttle service when I called got there and there wasn’t. I spent an extra $300 on ubers and Lyfts. That I wasn’t expecting to spend. It was one of the reasons I booked with them. Also rude service people. Like it is your job to have the pool open. It is your job to change towels out. It was like who are we to ask for fresh towels or to open the pool.

The evening front desk staff and the cleaning staff were very pleasant. The hotel room was clean. However, the hotel itself did not seem to be well run. They were cleaning rooms at midnight and the walls are paper thin so it sounds like they are vacuuming right next to you while you are trying to sleep. Their seals around the tubs are cracking and so water sometimes leaks from the above room. They also had a fire alarm that kept going off and did not keep their coffee station well stocked. The morning front desk staff is often nowhere to be seen and then when you finally find someone it’s hit or miss if they will be helpful and pleasant or waste your time. So overall wasn’t very impressed, hotel was clean and that’s about all it’s got going for it.

Checked in at 1 am because my flight got into Nashville super late. Walked in and the front desk attendant says, "let me guess, you are here to check in?" Yes... yes we are. She said well it is going to take awhile because we didn't have anyone checking in for awhile and so people went home. We said okay and just hung out in the lobby. The whole time she was breathing and sighing as if we were a big inconvenience to her, like I felt like I should be apologizing to her and not once did she provide any empathy to the fact that we have been traveling all day and are wanting to check in and we are waiting in the lobby of the hotel that we just spent $135 to stay at for 30 minutes. She then called someone else to help her and the way she asked for things from us was like, "you got a credit card?" "You wanted a king? we are out so you are getting a queen" Just the coldest service I have seen! It was incredible. We finally got checked in and still no apologies were given about the wait. The lobby is nice and spacious but the rooms are very outdated which I honestly do not really care had the customer service been there, but both suck? I would not ever stay here again, especially not for the prices they feel they are worth.

Nice location, nice lobby friendly staff. However, it’s not the of best quality. It is decent but very old. The bathrooms really tells the age of the building.
Hotel feeling. Would not recommend unless you get a good deal. Otherwise spend your money else where.

I love this hotel, and I love the food in their restaurant! The shuttle downtown is a big bonus, and so convenient. Rooms well stocked and clean. If you love a good, hot shower with plenty of water pressure, you've got it here! Check in was easy, and staff are all friendly, professional and very helpful!

How you cannot give 5 stars when you get upgraded from a standard room to the "Presidential Suite"? We enjoyed our stay. Location is super convenient. Parking is such a problem with the Downtown and West End hotels that the free parking is important and FREE! Shuttles run often to downtown (till midnight I think). I like the security of needing your room key to activate the elevators. Staff was friendly. Maxwell house coffee in the restaurant was good. Wondered why they didn't have Maxwell house in the room Keurig though. Things are a bit dated but kept. I'll be back.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Nice enough. Supposed to be smoke free, had an adjoining room where the other person started smoking and I had to get out of my room because of my wife's asthma is triggered by cigarette smoke. Informed the front desk. They sent security to check it out. Apparently security just walled near the door and didn't smell anything. It wasn't the hallway that smelled like an ashtray, it was the room. I informed them that there was no way we were staying in that room and they got us a new one. No other issues after that.

We are Music City Bop Club and have been meeting every Saturday night for over 20 years in the lounge. We cannot say enough good words for George, Maria, Carl and everyone working with us. Wonderful times!!
