-Great location near downtown Palm springs
-great staff and service, very communicative via text, hand sanitizer filled up everywhere which was nice
-great for kids with pool/snack options and sports court, we had our 2 year old with us
-room was dated, which was fine, but the dishwasher had no power and the floors were dirty (not crumbs, but our feet turned black rather quickly after walking around, I would not have a crawling baby here). The rest of the suite was very clean. I could also hear loud creaking in the above room whenever they walked which was fine until it kept waking me up at night
-overall, I will be coming back if I don't have a crawling baby

Never buy a timeshare with this company!
This place was a waste of my families time and money!
Trash throughout the hallways…. Place was disgusting!
Room was gross and dirty, air filter looked like a dirt blanket extremely plugged
We would’ve rather stayed in the lobby! That was the only are that was nice, clean and updated

Homeless shelters are cleaner!

Nice place to take the family. Big pool with water slides for the kids. Food at the pool was better than expected and the service was great. Large rooms with kitchens (fridge, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, etc). Rooms are a bit dated but functionally fine.

Just spent a week at this 'resort' with my family and mother-in-law.
For the price per night we paid I was shocked at how run down this place is and how little accommodations there are. Besides the pool, a large rental space, and a decent location this place was a dump and definitely NOT worth the price/night.
Here is a list of some of the things that were frustrating.
No cots available. They had playpens but while checking in another guest was returning the playpen because it was still soiled from the previous user.
No entertainment room with pool tables like advertised.
No parking for larger vehicles.
No housekeeping if you're there for less than 7 nights.
It was dirty. There's no regular housekeeping, you have to call and request a clean and you only receive one if you are there 7+ nights.
Even after we did receive our scheduled housekeeping clean the floors were still gross.
It smells TERRIBLE in hallways and room.
Nothing to clean the suite ourselves. Only one dish drying towel, and one old sponge. With 3 children our place was a disaster after 2 days and we had no way to vacuum etc.
The stove and dishwasher weren't working on our first day there.
There's limited things to cook with (pots, cooking utensils).
Bathtub was falling apart, and the shower head sits at 5 feet. My 6' 2" husband had an interesting time showering.
The lotion bottle broke off the wall and there was drywall dust all over the bathroom counter.
I understand they are under renovation - but we were in a room that had not been renovated. Very old carpet, old furniture and so on. The price should reflect this. Overall quite disappointed.

Makes me sad seeing the low reviews for this place. My only disappointment is that the rooms were outdated. The pool was amazing and HUGE with a hot tub and two water slides. Very kid friendly resort which is great considering a lot of places in Palm Springs shoot more for (not so much for kids). The staff was very friendly. I also have to put in there that most of the times hotels or resorts. Don’t have such great food or drinks in this place had amazing food and drinks with a great variety to choose from. Me and my husband came from Boston and we will be back to stay here again. We did notice on the resort the building next to us Must be getting remodeled because we noticed a lot of the furniture out near the dumpster which is exciting if they are remodeling!! This resort also has an amazing view of the mountains.

There is a great hidden area on the pool deck up above the water slide area perfect for a group to have their own private area.

What an expensive experience, the reviews do not match expectations. There are much better facilities in the area that superseded Palm Canyon. The room was dirty, the toilet was full of dry urine all over the toilet seat and bowl. There were lots of gnats all over the room. Just discussing, there internal policy states “cleanliness” prior to departure. Looks like they need to hold themselves ACCOUNTABLE to their own standards. I just expected more from this resort. I wouldn’t stay here again that’s for sure. I think the pool is nice, staff was nice, the pool area was nice, the bar tender was AWESOME (older Spanish speaking gentleman). The slide is cool, not to mention the little kids baby side. The hot tub is nice because it’s covered. I think that the security and bracelets are a waste of resources and staff $$$. This organization can definitely find another way to control pool access.

Now a Hilton owned property, Palm Canyon Resort is one of our favorite vacation spots. We try to go here once a year and enjoy the desert life, getting away from the busy city. They have a water slide for kids in the kiddie pool. For the adults, they have 2 hot tubs and a large heated pool. Further, there is a nice work out / weight room and a separate basketball half court. Looking for something to do? Ask them and they have planned activities already organized.

First of all I have 2 kids who are already tough to travel with and this place was the best! We rented out the 2 bdrm villa with a kitchen and it was absolutely perfect for us, 3 adults and 2 kids. 2 beds, a pull out COMFORTABLE sofa bed, TV in every room and stocked kitchen with dishes and utensils. Definitely bring your own food, beverages and seasonings, but the rest was available to us! The pool waS fun, clean, and staff were super friendly. The bar had a kitchen menu and brought food to you by the pool. The bartender pours generously and drinks are delicious. By far our best family vacation spot so far!

Great location! Awesome pool with lots of fun for the kids with water slides. The only thing that prevents me from giving a perfect 5 star in each category would be the rooms, they need a face lift. Other than that great place for a family vacation!
