Sheraton Resort & Spa

It’s laughable this is called a resort. We have stayed here once before and had a better experience although our room wasn’t ready for a 4pm check in and our drain was clogged so we spent an hour with a very nice handyman.

This time our 2 room “suite” overlooks the gym. Rooms have wear to them. The hotel staff are kind but my 16 yr old tried to get a Shirley temple and gelato for his younger brother at the restaurant and he was told they would “see” if they could get to him then ignored for 25 minutes. I can understand if the bar staff was busy; they were not. I can understand if my kid was disrespectful; he’s not. He’s scooped ice cream for tourists since he was 13 and understands the service industry. Waterslide is closed for no apparent reason. A selling point is that you can enter the park 30 min early except the entrance to the park that you can walk to does not open until the regular park entrance time so it’s actually not a perk.

I am so disappointed and bummed we are here for another night. We will not be returning. Save your money and stay at a nearby hotel or do the splurge and stay at a legoland hotel. They are building on the this resort; they should be focusing on the basics. Oh and there was no mention of construction and the noise it causes on their website. I wish I could include the video. Imagine trying sit by a pool next to 20 people hammering in a tin room. It baffles me how the management thought this would go over well with guests.

Ironically, when we first entered the room, there were two blaring TV’s with some executive touting how amazing Marriott is. Be skeptical of those who have to tell you how amazing they are….Looking forward to some AI generated response.
