- Decent restaurant.
Cons:
- Mandatory valet parking at $35 a day. There is no need for valet. They park your car ten feet from where you pull in. The lot was also empty, which makes paying for parking even more ridiculous.
- Poor service. While everyone was professional, we ordered breakfast the night before to arrive at 815am. By 845am, our food had yet to arrive, and we were informed the order was on its way. By 905am, we canceled the order because it never showed up.
- Noise. Starting at 8 am, you'll hear loud club music with solid bass piercing your bungalow. The insane part is there was no one at the pool or bar, yet they still think its a good idea to blast music so early in the AM.
- Price. At $750 a night, you're still hit with an additional $45 resort fee every night. This is on top of the mandatory daily valet of $35 a night. Also, I wouldn't call this hotel a resort by any stretch.
Overall:
Very disappointed. My wife and I will never stay at or recommend a Hermann property.

Billy the bar tender is the man. Was great with service and recommendations. Absolutely beautiful hotel and some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. Would highly recommend the new poolside bungalows.

From check in with Deana (so sorry if I spelled this incorrectly), to Elizabeth at the spa. Every staff interaction was damn near perfect. Special shout out to Marcos, Katie and Wendy! Omar, Priscila, and more. I tried to get everyone's names memorized because each and every one of you made this such a memorable trip.
The food? Outstanding. A lot of higher-end locations like this tend to inflate menu descriptions with culinary jargon to sound more interesting than they really are, but the food options are legitimately delicious, thoughtfully sourced, and presented well. The drink options. THE DRINK OPTIONS. Marcos, MY MAN - you are some kind of mixology wizard with a good heart. Katie and Wendy you both are so sweet. Everyone I've mentioned needs some kind of special recognition from management; a raise, a high five, a new BMW, SOMETHING.
In regards to the accommodations themselves: exceptional. I booked through AMEX and was provided a complimentary upgrade to what I feel was the best bungalow for my specific stay. The room is well appointed and clean, the housekeeping staff are super attentive and neat. The turn down service staff (I'm sorry I never got your names!) are so kind. The small details from the moment you arrive to the time you leave show a level of intent you really don't find in many places at all these days.
I could have chosen closer accommodations as I was visiting Thermal Club for a few track days. I'm glad I didn't. I'll be back to Thermal some time soon for more track time and you damn well better believe I'm returning to Horizon because of the superlative experience I had on this trip. Thanks again everyone. In regards to the accommodations themselves: exceptional. I booked through AMEX and was provided a complimentary upgrade to what I feel was the best bungalow for my specific stay. The room is well appointed and clean, the housekeeping staff are super attentive and neat. The turn down service staff (I'm sorry I never got your names!) are so kind. The small details from the moment you arrive to the time you leave show a level of intent you really don't find in many places at all these days.
I could have chosen closer accommodations as I was visiting Thermal Club for a few track days. I'm glad I didn't. I'll be back to Thermal some time soon for more track time and you damn well better believe I'm returning to Horizon because of the superlative experience I had on this trip. Thanks again everyone. Overall we have a mixed review during our recent stay. The property and pool area (stunning) were very nice and service was generally good but way overpriced with some surprising flaws.
The phone system and iPad to access guest services were not working, often impossible to get through to the front desk. There was no garbage container in the room (even after we requested this) and the pool bar area was not fully staffed during operating hours. The parking area is tiny and you are forced to use their valet parking. It is also difficult to find the property at night as the hotel name is barely lit.
The food was very good but overpriced. They charge you for every incidental including bottled water.
Overall it is a nice hotel but way overpriced with some serious operational flaws.

Great for couples. Adult only and pool open 24/7. Exceptional and very personable service. Definitely unique.

Kelly was very attentive and engaging and you could tell he was invested in the quality of service that we received. I would like to note that this investment was a theme that we noticed throughout our stay, and have also noticed while staying at the other Hermann property, Colony Palms, a few months ago. We had a minor concern about our room as it was facing the pool and we prefer privacy. Contessa gave us the option of choosing from a couple other available rooms, and ended up upgrading us to address our concerns. There was no obligation to do so, but our concern was taken very seriously and was addressed promptly. We were very pleased and grateful. Matt was the valet throughout our stay, and he also went above and beyond in many ways to ensure that our experience was exceptional. There are not enough hotels that care about customer experience the way that they do here.

First time visiting Palm Springs and L horizon made it a day that I will never forget ! The service was on point. As soon as we drove in the valet guy open our door and made us feel like we where walking into paradise. Check in and was given an upgrade to our room!! Thank you Izzy!! Junior suite with fireplace, 2nd largest room in estate. We where given complementary champagne drinks and where ask to enjoy the poolside while we wait for our room.
The grounds where breathe taking, felt like we where transported back to the mid century era that Palm Springs is so known for.
Settle into the bar and Tylor greeted us and offered us not one but two complementary drinks while we waited for our room.
Talk about amazing service!! He was our bartender/server for the whole weekend and he was amazing!! He was extremely knowledgeable about the grounds and made our stay so special and really delivering a 5 stars experience.
Room 10 by far the most gorgeous room, Nicely decorated ,bathroom stunning with indoor out door shower. Bed was like heaven!! So comfy and made you forget about all ur troubles. Little details go a long way!
Having our name engraved on door and coming into a clean room with surprise cookies after a night out made the day special.
The poolside snacks and drinks where so good!! The chicken salad was so fresh and bright. Perfect for a hot summer day. The drinks, refreshing and made perfectly.
The pool was clean and maintained every 30mins, staff delivering fresh towels rolling up perfectly on chair and checking in with fresh cold water and cold ice towels to refresh ur face and body.
I couldn't ask for a most perfect stay !!! 100% worth it and would come here again for sure!!

The property is stunning. Like out of a movie. There's an incredible heated pool and hot tub. The rooms are gorgeous and the bed is SO comfortable.

My wife and I have stayed at L'Horizon twice. Each time was fantastic. The first time we stayed was just after they had opened and even though you could tell they were having some operational issues getting everything set up the service was so exceptionally good that we just fell completely in love with the place.
The second time was about a year and a half later, during the off season. We didn't realize this meant that the restaurant would be closed, which was a bummer, but that was our fault.
In general, it's hard to find things not to like - the pool is fantastic, food and cocktails are great, service is exceptional, and for the quality and space of the rooms you get the pricing is quite reasonable.

I'm staying at a Four Seasons as I write this which makes me realize how well L'Horizon stacks up. Whether it was knowing my name walking through the front door, the welcome glass of prosecco, the well kept grounds, the very tasty dinner, or the ambiance undertoned by soothing music. We'll done on so many levels!

A really cute resort in Palm Springs, featuring the typical modernist architecture common to this area. The best part of this place is obviously the pool and the pool bar, super relaxing and peaceful.
The rooms (bungalows) are spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately there isn’t a gym on site but it didn’t detract from the experience. Can’t wait to be back!
