With all that being said, the service here is absolutely fantastic. From the valet, to the front desk, and housekeeping, everyone has been outstanding to deal with. Also, even the standard rooms here are fairly large. The room feels almost like a studio suite, which is great.
In any event, when you stay at the Rittenhouse house, along with the location and room size, the impeccable service all around is what you're paying for which is why this place gets 5 stars in my book even though the property needs slightly updated.
There was no brochure in my room to inform me of their services. Accordingly, I had no idea if they served any food or drink or when. The first morning my shower did not work, and now it is almost 4 pm and my room has not been made up.
Walked in at 4:45 was told room not ready , woman at desk was very rude . Did not really care about us . We were in town for a evert that we were late to. Asked if she could call me never had my phone number total disappointment we expected great service
Three couples met to celebrate a birthday. The Sunday brunch is a must if you stay there!
Good gym and heated pool.
Price ends up with about 1/3 in taxes and fees. Philadelphia!
Personnel very attentive
Old, "worn-out" hotel, with noisy air conditioning in the room. Considering the overall condition - definitely too expensive! In addition, they do not recognize your VIP status.
