I was close to everything, and within walking distance from the hospital. The hotel is not focused around conveniences for young children( no pool or play area), but I would use this hotel again to stay with family
Walking distance to many places you will want to visit in Philadelphia. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and updated. The front desk was very nice and accommodating
Lobby and elevator lobbies on each floor were dark and dismal, and don't try to get a working iron. But it was conveniently located by historical areas and having the Market across the street was a great plus
The location was perfect- right near many restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The gym, wet sauna, and dry sauna are included with your stay
However, the food was delicious as I enjoyed my brussel sprout salad most of all. Breakfast was more of a normal standard menu with some unique items, above average. All restaurant staff were wonderful and pleasant
The wifi signal was strong and I did not have any issues with it. The bed was extremely comfy and the view from the 24th floor was gorgeous. The hotel bar was convenient as well

Customer service has been amazing but the hotel stay has just been okay. The gym looked like it had been cleaned in several days, didn't have towels or cups for water. Additionally, there isn't much fitness equipment
Great location by quality restaurants. Classy hotel bar that had a French hot breakfast in the morning. Unique enclosed courtyard which would be a good work/reading area. Zero complaints, would recommend!
Great stay overall! Gabby at the front desk was super accommodating and welcoming when we arrived and departed. Room had nice high ceilings and an awesome view of City Hall
Perfectly central location and a nice bar in lobby area
Le Meridien is a very nice hotel convenient to downtown Philadelphia. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Other room amenities were lacking. At $280/night I expect a little more
They don't have a concierge lounge as some other Marriotts have but they did offer a continental breakfast to make up for it which included several options of bread, fruit, and coffee or juice

I don't understand a bad review at all. Immaculately clean everywhere. The deal with Park/Fly = phenomenal. Great staff at the little Bar Restaurant and also nice fellow at check in
The staff are always pleasant, kind and professional! It's quiet and safe! The shuttle service is prompt and always has the best drivers! The food at the onsite restaurant is delicious! The rooms are clean, quiet and well appointed! Keep up the fantastic work!
Derek at the front desk was easily the most helpful, pleasant person I have ever encountered at a hotel
My girlfriend and I stayed there a few months ago and every so often one of us remembers, "Hey, we still need to write a review for Derek!" because he put us in such a good mood and we thought maybe writing a five star Derek review would help him get a promotion or a raise because he definitely should be making more money than middle management!
My luggage, which had been lost when I began my weekend-long business trip arrived at 9:30 that night (we fly out in the morning) and Dillon (at the front desk) was awesome in making sure my delivery person was able to get back out
We arrived very early and Derek - who was at the front desk was awesome. It had been a very stressful business trip and he immediately set us at ease with his friendliness and was able to get a room right away

The room was standard, nothing over the top. They need to update their tvs. I definitely recommend this hotel
Overall, the experience at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown was a good one. Returning to Philly for a visit (having previously lived there for a decade), I booked the hotel due to a great deal online
Great location!!! I was on a quick trip overnight and didn't get to venture out. I loved the lobby with the bar in the middle. It's a great place to hang out and have a drink or two
Overall though the proximity to nice restaurants and shopping make this worth it. If I go again I would not want to be on this side of the hotel so I would ensure that I'm in the main area as those rooms are much nicer
Would definitely stay here again! The only downside is that the valet/parking is expensive. It’s about $52 to park overnight. I would recommend parking at the nearby garage instead. Other than that everything was great!
I was most familiar with the building due to the FedEx inside (copies don't make themselves), but the rooms were nice enough, if a little dated. Considering the foot traffic the place gets, I was pleasantly surprised

The staff from the Hotel was extremely nice and helpful especially Selina who helped us and gave us many advices during our stay, she recommended to us an incredible Jazz Club where we had our best night in the city, she was joyfull and the warming heart of this place!!! Loved the place xx
Love this hotel and will def stay again!!!! Drawbacks: the tv is a little awkward (up high, no channel guide); the bedding is a little old and the bed kind of hard. But that’s it- Positives? Too many to list
It’s really beautiful, too, especially the wood features and WINDOWS THAT OPEN!!!! Hallelujah! But the best part was the front desk staff. , was a ray of sunshine, funny, and had great recommendations
I never needed to pay for breakfast; that was always more than enough for me. The afternoon reception was also generous
Big Thank You to the very sweet Chris who greeted us and the beautiful Selma who danced and sang with us. Also, thanks to the gorgeous mural outside of our room. This is a charming and historic hotel
Remember not to expect the same luxury as a hotel chain, but regardless the staff does the best they can to make your stay enjoyable and cozy

Tiara (front desk staff) was very professional and friendly and as a Marriott titanium member, we were able to receive a complimentary suite upgrade during a 8 AM check in on a holiday weekend which made us extremely happy! I was very impressed with our suite and the staff at this property
We arrived to a warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The room was clean and ready for us. We stayed 5 nights and explored the city. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was good
The service was great everywhere in the hotel. We did not order room service so I can’t tell you about it. I can tell you that the hotel staff went above and beyond when I did leave something behind
Breakfast is solid here with great options and service. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great property with a central location in downtown Philadelphia!
We arrived around 8 AM for check-in, and we were surprised as to how quickly the front desk staff were able to accommodate us
I highly recommend this hotel

He turned a special day (our 30th anniversary) into a night we will never forget. We are already talking about finding an excuse to visit again this year
Iconic old bank converted to a great lobby. In the night this converts into a lively bar space. Location of the hotel is great and within walkable distance to all the historic places. Rooms are big and comfortable.
He went above and beyond for us and made our experience better than we imagined! Housekeeping was wonderful with turn down service, fresh towels daily, replenished water bottles, etc
He was so wonderful during the duration of our stay and made sure we were well taken care of each day. He was great from the beginning of our stay through the end when we requested him specifically to help send us off
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. This was our second time staying here, with both times using the club level certificates
Our room was clean, as was the furniture which we used to store our clothes. Large closet for hanging items and storage for luggage. Concierge was very friendly for check-in and check-out needs

The Sheraton is a great venue but the two places are about 10 minutes walking distance from each other. Driving takes just as long if not longer. The Sheraton has great spaces for events of all sizes
The higher rooms have great views (a friend was staying here). The staff were great, and the lobby area restaurant is not bad either. I had lunch there one day, and while it was not great, it served the purpose
The hotel is within a few blocks of City Hall where you can get all sorts of public transportation from, including connections to Delaware and New Jersey via another station
During this visit I was at the Sheraton attending conference session. The conference was primarily located at the Convention Center
The lobby was filled with families in town for the celebration, so it was a party atmosphere, and everybody was in a good mood, despite the long check-in lines. Our membership allowed us to have a very quick check-in
Big rooms, with plenty of space for family of 4. Could use a make-over, or at least a few more ceiling lights, as you can't see in the dark closets. The price was reasonable, however, for what we needed

Didn't get to enjoy the pool since it was closed for the season (stayed in October), that would've made my visit! The room was nice, we had a corner, so we had a little view down the road instead of just an airshaft
Location is great! I reserved through a 3 party so the room choice was definitely anyone’s guess, but David was so accommodating. I have a really early day tomorrow as I’m starting a new role and wanted a quieter space
The front desk was very helpful in changing rooms quickly for me to get a good nights rest. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the city
I'm glad I didn't need my vehicle except for at checkout. Lots of the amenities had been suspended due to COVID, so I'm not sure I really got the full hotel experience. and I could've done with a larger bathroom for sure
Bustling hotel, seemed like a lot of folks were visiting to enjoy a sporting event, but I was present for a wedding. Like others have said, the valet was indeed very slow
It got really humid in the room after showering. All in all, I think I enjoyed it mostly because I had a wonderful companion and was there to celebrate something special

However, this time, Byron proved us wrong and reminded me of why it is worth, to continue our loyalty to Marriott! Thank you, Byron, for an outstanding experience!!!! Oh yes, and the room was fantastic and super clean!
We were met at the front desk by Byron and he was just amazing!!!! What a perfect example of 5-star-customer service!! Even when he had to decline some of our requests, he made sure to offer an alternative
The service in the restaurant is a bit slow but I’ve never had a bad meal there. The room decor could use some updates but the rooms are clean and in my book, that’s what matters the most
It was never "sorry, no, can't do that", it was ". " My husband is a titanium member and generally speaking unfortunately the Marriott service isn't what it used to be anymore
Thought the hotel was great, convenient being attached to the airport terminal. I would have liked to see a little easier to access info on what the walking distances to each terminal were
The shuttle was fine to get us to D but if you have to take the shuttle and can’t walk it then one of the other cheeper hotels close by with the same free shuttle would work just as well

If we weren’t staying for only one night, I may have requested a room change. However, we chose to stay anyways as it wasn’t terrible, the view was incredible, and the beds were insanely comfortable
The AC didn’t seem to be working well as the room stayed pretty warm. Any of these issues alone were minor and not a big deal, but to have so many things wrong with the room was disappointing
Updated to add - the hotel called (only one day after filling out their “how was your stay” stuff!!!) and was super apologetic and handled the situation very well
to allow them to give you a new key and they will give you a hard time if your ID happens to be in your room as well. Good place to stay during winter as you have the river rink ice skating, and winter festival nearby
The view was gorgeous and the people were extremely friendly and helpful. However, the room was not as clean as I would expect for a hotel this expensive
There was old trash in both trash cans from before we got there, hair on the bathroom floor and in the bathtub, dusty furniture, no ice bucket bag (not sure if this is normal for a nice hotel though), a nearly empty conditioner bottle that barely gave enough to use, and the body was bottle was missing completely

The common areas are beautiful, from the ship chandelier in the entrance way, to the furniture around the reception area. The rooms are comfortable and look amazing
The showers are okay and while not stand out, they shouldn't be marked down on them. However in 2/3 rooms we stayed in we had baths, and one was fantastic while the bath/shower in the suite was incredible
One thing I will say that was a nuisance, the TVs were basically the same as you'd have found in a hotel 15 years ago
Likewise an odd area is that tea/coffee facilities for the room had to be requested. The thing that absolutely stands out though was the staff. Every single one of them was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help
We chose this hotel for the location as well as prior stays at other Kimpton hotels. We were disappointed in this particular Kimpton
It’s a shame the hotel bar and restaurant were closed on Sundays, some basic features of a nicer hotel

The bathroom was clean as well, another plus. The price is a little higher than I usually like to pay for a hotel but the location and quality make it with it. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it
Other than that, staff is great, the breakfast area staff, as well as the dinner/bar area staff were awesome and made us feel at home. The pic of the street was the view after leaving this beautiful hotel
The plugs by the lamps between the beds were terrible and was unable to plug my phone in to charge. I wound think for what we paid, we'd feel hooked up. We made good with what we had
Thee City of Brotherly Love for sure
Despite challenges with staffing, the DoubleTree provided a comfortable stay and an efficient and comfortable experience for my business meetings. The room was clean and well appointed, with newer seating and headboards
Parking was convenient, and I appreciated that my room key also gained me in and out privileges to the garage. The bell staff, desk staff and snack/coffee store staff were all polite and helpful

Very good omelet and the service was good too. Room was warm and cozy Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful
We loved our stay at Kimpton Hotel Palomar. The service and room were awesome. However, a word of advice if you want a cup of coffee in your room, you need to request a coffee maker and coffee pods be brought up. 😉
I only wish the room had a microwave and that they had actual room service, though we managed just fine placing pick up orders at the hotel restaurant
It's incredibly loud, as you can imagine, so we didn't really get much sleep. I told the desk when we were leaving, and they apologized and went on our way. Our last visit a few weeks ago was worse
Spent the weekend for our anniversary. Told them in advance we were celebrating and when we checked in there was a bottle of wine and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries waiting
There were blood stains on the carpet, a fingernail, blood and hair in the jacuzzi tub, and the plastic cover for the card scanner for the door popped off

When I called to ask for help I was not satisfied with her answer. I proceeded to not be so nice (not my proudest moment) I was hot and agitated. The young lady Sam was able to make it right and then some
This hotel rooms were pretty nice and had a reasonable price per night. The kitchens were very helpful and the beds were comfortable; you can also control the temperature of the room
My husband and I had our second stay at the Windsor. We just love the spacious rooms and balconies. This weekend was unseasonably warm and their air did not work
Also, downstairs by the lobby of the hotel there is the Con Murphy’s Irish pub which has some great food; flatbreads and burgers and sandwiches and beers
We went there a couple times during our stay, definitely recommended
My husband went to their gym, he said the equipment was excellent! The hotel staff had such great customer service and hospitality! The ladies at the front desk are so welcoming and helpful!! I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends for sure!

We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Rittenhouse and everything was first class. Every Rittenhouse employee we came in contact with was pleasant and engaging. The concierge really saved us Thanksgiving night
Great Hotel. Very nice staff! We will be back.
We had drinks in the Library Bar off the lobby and drinks were great. The service from the bar staff was excellent. We had brunch at Lacroix and while expensive, the food and service were fantastic
The restaurant where we had made a reservation was closed upon our arrival. We walked back to the hotel and he immediately got us in to another restaurant and even drove us over in the hotel car
The section of town where the hotel is located is great, with many restaurants and shopping close by. For being in a busy city like Philadelphia, the neighborhood is busy, but quiet
My wife and I have stayed at some very nice hotels all over the world and I would put the Rittenhouse up against any of them in terms of a high quality experience

At the time we stayed (last week of 2022), the Sporting Club was under renovation, so the pool was not available
And I like getting lost in an old architectural beauty from time to time. Room (King bed) and bathroom large, with nice views. Rook service came by and checked on me daily. Staffing levels still seem low, post-pandemic
This is one of those hotels where you will be pleased - as i was - if you go in with proper expectations. If you expect a regular, aseptic, yet efficient hotel experience you will be disappointed
Best experience was ordering food, going to upstairs bar to pick up (delivery option not available late evening)…and having a really nice meal in my room. It’s the little things for me
As reviews have noted, this is a hotel with old world charm. And old world equipment and maze like construction. I like taking the slow elevator from time to time

Arvel is the director of rooms and he stopped when he saw me at the brochure rack. I asked about any speakeasy bars he knew of. He didn't but sent me an email the next morning letting me know of a few that he found
The hotel was great and even better were the people working there! The front desk staff were so lovely after I had a horrible airline delay and they made my stay amazing! The bartender was also amazing and made great cocktails + gave us recommendations to a really nice restaurant nearby
My admin staff booked this place after could not find anything at our usual place. Hotel website says that there is no hair dryer, fridge and coffee/tea maker in the room nor complementary coffee in the lobby
After checked in, I discovered that there is fridge, coffee maker and hair dryer but still no coffee nor breakfast provided in the lobby. There is Starbuck and onsite restaurant though
Not far from the city center and various touristy stops. It is by the river so those rooms have a great view. The pic is from the 3rd floor and there are 4 floors in total
Because the hotel is so close to the highway. Common areas are spacious, clean and inviting. Wish complementary coffee can be served in common area also

Exceptional staff and very friendly servers. Bar and restaurant were reasonable. Rooftop pool was warm yet comfortable. Cleanliness was apparent and location was perfect for the history tours
Very nice hotel within walking distance to all the great historical locations. One block away from the Betsy Ross museum and the Ben Franklin museum. A lot of good food locations around the corner as well
Staff were amazing! I wish I remembered everyone's names but they were very attentive, welcoming, accommodating. I was vacationing here for a wedding and the staff was very helpful my entire stay

Look no further! This is thee perfect hotel stay for family or business trips. It’s across the street from the convention center. The staff was nothing short of exceptional
Great experience with the folks at Home2. Great location right next door to the Convention Center and Reading Terminal Market in downtown Philadelphia. The rooms were large and accomdating and very well kept
The couches were severely stained, the bathroom walls don’t look like they have been wiped down this year, the shower needs to be cleaned thoroughly including taking apart the soap dispenser which haven’t been cleaned in months (mold)
The curtain separating the beds had residue on it that was clearly visible from the moment you walked in. I would expect more from a Hilton regardless of minimal staff
Both sides of the fridge need cleaning and the toilet is stained. I would think monthly deep cleaning would be done since families are eating and cooking in there
