Philadelphia Marriott Downtown
Philadelphia, 1201 Market Street 🧭 Map
Classy hotel in a good location, they even have a car rental stand in the lobby. If you're on a budget there's a 7 eleven across the street and a market place in the nearby terminal. Also Chinatown is 2 blocks north
The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
The front desk is always busy but they make an effort to serve you with a smile. Room service is good and overall the staff are friendly. The renovated side closer to the convention centre leaves alot to be desired
Overall, the experience at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown was a good one. Returning to Philly for a visit (having previously lived there for a decade), I booked the hotel due to a great deal online
I was most familiar with the building due to the FedEx inside (copies don't make themselves), but the rooms were nice enough, if a little dated. Considering the foot traffic the place gets, I was pleasantly surprised
Good location near Reading Market, convenient to the Convention Center. Also near the Independence Center. Starbucks and Hertz desk onsite. Front Desk helpful when asked to recommend car service

Little to no access to anything nearby except a Ruby Tuesday right next door. Paper thin walls, bathroom door missing a screw, small TV, and easily the worst continental breakfast I've seen since COVID shutdowns
The rooms were clean. The parking was nice. Location was good. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.
Nice staff. Good room. A little noisey being close to hiway. Very convenient to airport. Good prices!
The HVAC system is not good in this building. There is no central A/C so all the hallways are hot and damp. My room smelled of cigarette smoke and mgmt couldn't move us. I would stay elsewhere if you read this
Staff is very nice!!, they said good morning to everyone in the lobby...and oh my god the bathroom in our room is huge (queen room, double queen bed)....very clean rooms with a safe and nice desk.
Decent hotel, near the airport. Excellent free shuttle with stay and park. Got over charged for the room, which they fixed after pointing out the error and showing my reservation I had printed.

Loews Philadelphia Hotel
Philadelphia, 1200 Market Street 🧭 Map
We ordered room service at 2am, with no high quality expectations given the time and past experiences, but our Philly cheese steak and Angus burger were awesome! Even the fries were great
My first time visiting this hotel was an amazing experience. The scenery was beautiful, and I took full advantage of the amenities such as the gym with a fantastic sauna
The elevators are a bit confusing at first, but definitely check out the top floor because this hotel has the best view of Philadelphia you can get!
Staying at Loews was a great experience. Rooms were clean, spacious and with a great modern style. The view from the 33rd floor was the best and I used their lounge to meditate at night
However, the food was delicious as I enjoyed my brussel sprout salad most of all. Breakfast was more of a normal standard menu with some unique items, above average. All restaurant staff were wonderful and pleasant
The breakfast was a great experience supported by a sweet staff member named Gigi. The digital/electronically experience could be updated within the rooms but none the less I slept like a baby in the comfy bed

We arrived to a warm and friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The room was clean and ready for us. We stayed 5 nights and explored the city. We ate at the restaurant downstairs and it was good
Tiara (front desk staff) was very professional and friendly and as a Marriott titanium member, we were able to receive a complimentary suite upgrade during a 8 AM check in on a holiday weekend which made us extremely happy! I was very impressed with our suite and the staff at this property
The service was great everywhere in the hotel. We did not order room service so I can’t tell you about it. I can tell you that the hotel staff went above and beyond when I did leave something behind
Breakfast is solid here with great options and service. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great property with a central location in downtown Philadelphia!
We arrived around 8 AM for check-in, and we were surprised as to how quickly the front desk staff were able to accommodate us
I highly recommend this hotel

This is a phenomenal hotel in many ways. It is located in the city center, it has many restaurants and shopping stores nearby, and has plenty of accessible transportation (public bus, subway, and taxi)
Iconic old bank converted to a great lobby. In the night this converts into a lively bar space. Location of the hotel is great and within walkable distance to all the historic places. Rooms are big and comfortable.
If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around. This was our second time staying here, with both times using the club level certificates
He was so wonderful during the duration of our stay and made sure we were well taken care of each day. He was great from the beginning of our stay through the end when we requested him specifically to help send us off
Will highly recommend for others looking for a good safe hotel to stay at in Philly
Our room was clean, as was the furniture which we used to store our clothes. Large closet for hanging items and storage for luggage. Concierge was very friendly for check-in and check-out needs

The post-wedding brunch catered by the hotel was good. I was given gluten free pancakes by special request!
Location is great! I reserved through a 3 party so the room choice was definitely anyone’s guess, but David was so accommodating. I have a really early day tomorrow as I’m starting a new role and wanted a quieter space
The front desk was very helpful in changing rooms quickly for me to get a good nights rest. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the city
I'm glad I didn't need my vehicle except for at checkout. Lots of the amenities had been suspended due to COVID, so I'm not sure I really got the full hotel experience. and I could've done with a larger bathroom for sure
Didn't get to enjoy the pool since it was closed for the season (stayed in October), that would've made my visit! The room was nice, we had a corner, so we had a little view down the road instead of just an airshaft
Bustling hotel, seemed like a lot of folks were visiting to enjoy a sporting event, but I was present for a wedding. Like others have said, the valet was indeed very slow

But I didn't, so this review is for folks who do. Be aware you are payIng for location, a nice bed and good shower amenities, everything else is basic
However, this time, Byron proved us wrong and reminded me of why it is worth, to continue our loyalty to Marriott! Thank you, Byron, for an outstanding experience!!!! Oh yes, and the room was fantastic and super clean!
We were met at the front desk by Byron and he was just amazing!!!! What a perfect example of 5-star-customer service!! Even when he had to decline some of our requests, he made sure to offer an alternative
The service in the restaurant is a bit slow but I’ve never had a bad meal there. The room decor could use some updates but the rooms are clean and in my book, that’s what matters the most
It was never "sorry, no, can't do that", it was ". " My husband is a titanium member and generally speaking unfortunately the Marriott service isn't what it used to be anymore
Thought the hotel was great, convenient being attached to the airport terminal. I would have liked to see a little easier to access info on what the walking distances to each terminal were

However, as for everything else, it is deserving of a good rating! Lobby is nice and pretty, with a restaurant right to the right as you walk in (has a sit-at bar and table service)
to allow them to give you a new key and they will give you a hard time if your ID happens to be in your room as well. Good place to stay during winter as you have the river rink ice skating, and winter festival nearby
The pool was Indoors and heated, and next to the fitness center. They also had a sauna which was a plus. The hotel gave us waters upon our arrival
The hotel staff was very pleasant! Everyone from the valet, bartender, front desk, and security were professional. The room was clean and we enjoyed the water view from all of the windows
Dave and Busters Arcade Eat and Play with a bar is near by and lots of fun. There are cool boat restaurants near by, as well as spruce street harbor with tons of things to do
The rooms are decent, and the pool is nice; you get a view of the city as the pool is on a high up floor. Nice little stay, my family and I enjoyed it

If you are into your fitness, they have one of the best gyms I have seen in a hotel! Everything you can possibly need in the tips of your hands! Let’s not forget the amazing shower!!! I truly enjoyed everything about my stay
The staff and accommodations at the Sofetil Hotel were exceptional. I stayed there two nights while attending a family wedding and the service was outstanding. It was a very pleasant experience
This beautiful hotel is located in a great area where there’s plenty of shopping as well as amazing dining experiences. If you are not afraid to go on a little…long walks this is the perfect location
From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I had exceptional service! Taron, checked me in and made sure all my needs were met and answered any questions I had
The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant and buffet breakfast are outstanding. I highly recommend staying there. I was very pleased with the service
For family travel, I'd note that their rooms with 2 beds have full beds rather than queen size, and the bathroom panels do not have locks. The room sizes are pretty spacious and the beds are comfortable

An excellent example of Kimpton hospitality and style. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many of Philly's best attractions
Stayed for a Saturday and Sunday night for a weekend getaway to Philly for some sightseeing. The location is perfect for visiting the historic district, and there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area
Likewise an odd area is that tea/coffee facilities for the room had to be requested. The thing that absolutely stands out though was the staff. Every single one of them was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to help
The common areas are beautiful, from the ship chandelier in the entrance way, to the furniture around the reception area. The rooms are comfortable and look amazing
The showers are okay and while not stand out, they shouldn't be marked down on them. However in 2/3 rooms we stayed in we had baths, and one was fantastic while the bath/shower in the suite was incredible
A smart TV or any provided ability to use streaming services (whether through a wireless phone connection or signing into the service on the TV) would have been much better

The size was great but it wasn't plush enough and it was located next to a service door so staff would slam the door and my room would actually shake. This a happened all night and I could not get a good night's sleep
Modern and fun lobby with restaurants open at varying times. Rooms are a bit older but spacious. I would stay here again if I was going to downtown events. Many restaurants are walkable in the area
And noticed the room was a little warm. We turned the air conditioner on as high as it would go and cold air was kind of trickling out. We gave it a little while but the room didn't seem to be cooling down
The service we recieved was outstanding, and we will definitely be back! The location is superior, as well! It is near an abundance of shopping and dining, and in walking distance to museums and historical sites
He insisted that not much could be done that night but he did everything he could to try and help. He removed the barrier in front of that which allowed for better airflow and told us to close the bathroom door
While I went to go park the car. He was very friendly and helped us however he could! Once we checked in, which was a very easy process, we are able to get right into our room around 1:00 p

The meeting space had excellent management of the food service options with knowledgeable and helpful staff. The food was good and at the appropriate temperature
The plugs by the lamps between the beds were terrible and was unable to plug my phone in to charge. I wound think for what we paid, we'd feel hooked up. We made good with what we had
Convenient location and good size rooms. The rooms definitely need some upgrading
Other than that, staff is great, the breakfast area staff, as well as the dinner/bar area staff were awesome and made us feel at home. The pic of the street was the view after leaving this beautiful hotel
Our room was clean and spacious with pretty up to date furnishings. A huge plus for me is that the beds are very comfortable! I usually don’t sleep well in hotels but slept great here

This hotel is a solid choice if you're working nearby: good/free wifi, a great gym, comfy beds, and quiet rooms with fridges.
in the Upenn, good location. everything is good. the trustworthy brand.
Location perfect for access to local colleges and city. Restaurant staff and valet service - both excellent. Beds seemed smaller than your typical double
The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice and equipped to meet my needs as a disabled person. I would stay there again and will recommend it to my friends
Breakfast a la carte at University Club was one of the best I’ve had in a while!! Wish I could be back next time as a future Quaker, fingers crossed
Adjacent to the bookstore, across the road from Huntsman Hall, two blocks down from Hill. Rooms were comfortable, though bathroom door was hard to slide shut at times for some reason

Front staff are amazing! Thank you, kudos to Kevin! Rooms are also on smaller end, but design of the room is so well executed, great attention to details. I fell relieved when I didn’t have to deal with dirty rooms
The street is ridiculously busy and we were lucky enough to time our ins/ours perfectly. The valet staff was friendly and helpful, so this is not to their fault. I will gladly return again in the future
Check-in was smooth, we were given all of our perks being Kimpton rewards members and our previously requested champagne and chocolate covered strawberries were already waiting for us in the room
Spent the weekend for our anniversary. Told them in advance we were celebrating and when we checked in there was a bottle of wine and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries waiting
The room was a decent size with a nice layout, and the jetted bathtub was large enough we could both sit comfortably while we soaked. Everyone I interacted with was lovely and kind
We ordered room service for lunch Saturday because it was so hot outside, and it was delivered quickly with a smile. All in all a fantastic experience and one I would repeat

This is easily my favorite hotel in the city. Whenever my parents or my grandmother comes to town, they always stay here and leave very well-rested. Apparently the breakfast is quite delicious as well
I think he was calling her to hook up again because I then heard him turn the phone off after several rings and say, "Well, that was good while it lasted
The historic center and old city are at walking distance, and so is the Rocky statue if you fancy that. The room was bright and comfortable, with a coffee machine and nice bathing products
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is professional and nice. Overall great stay! Perfect location within walking distance of many stores, parking, and restaurants
We were celebrating our 1st anniversary and had a great time!!! The location was freaking awesome. we walked everywhere and a drugstore was literally right next door
My wife and I stayed there 2 years ago and we will be going back next month. Yes the rooms are small, but who cares when you are barely there

My husband went to their gym, he said the equipment was excellent! The hotel staff had such great customer service and hospitality! The ladies at the front desk are so welcoming and helpful!! I would recommend this hotel to my family and friends for sure!
When I called to ask for help I was not satisfied with her answer. I proceeded to not be so nice (not my proudest moment) I was hot and agitated. The young lady Sam was able to make it right and then some
This hotel rooms were pretty nice and had a reasonable price per night. The kitchens were very helpful and the beds were comfortable; you can also control the temperature of the room
My husband and I had our second stay at the Windsor. We just love the spacious rooms and balconies. This weekend was unseasonably warm and their air did not work
Also, downstairs by the lobby of the hotel there is the Con Murphy’s Irish pub which has some great food; flatbreads and burgers and sandwiches and beers
Because they made it right, and understood our discomfort, they will continue to get our business. It really is a wonderful hotel

Staff is extremely friendly but I didn’t care for the selection of foods at the buffet and it wasn’t very clean. Although the MTO omelettes were good
Very nice hotel! Convenient and clean!! Rooms were big and accommodating, the size of the TVs were awesome. Breakfast was fresh and filling
Was a little upset that I had to leave the hotel in the early morning hours due to an emergency, I totally understand safety first, but it was really cold
The price was great and much cheaper than I expected it would be, especially the week leading up to Christmas. My brother lives a block away so I will stay here again that’s for sure
Good location for downtown Philadelphia. Otherwise a standard Embassy Suites room. The balconies are a nice touch. A/C thermostat worked, staff was pleasant. Bathrooms are older and dated but functional
I only stay in Hilton properties. The size of the suites are very large and spacious! Yes the bathrooms are a little small and the tubs could use some TLC however they are clean

Great location by quality restaurants. Classy hotel bar that had a French hot breakfast in the morning. Unique enclosed courtyard which would be a good work/reading area. Zero complaints, would recommend!
Great stay overall! Gabby at the front desk was super accommodating and welcoming when we arrived and departed. Room had nice high ceilings and an awesome view of City Hall
Perfectly central location and a nice bar in lobby area
Customer service has been amazing but the hotel stay has just been okay. The gym looked like it had been cleaned in several days, didn't have towels or cups for water. Additionally, there isn't much fitness equipment
Le Meridien is a very nice hotel convenient to downtown Philadelphia. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Other room amenities were lacking. At $280/night I expect a little more
They don't have a concierge lounge as some other Marriotts have but they did offer a continental breakfast to make up for it which included several options of bread, fruit, and coffee or juice

The hotel is excellent, five stars no question, the bar /lounge on the first floor is what pulls this rating down as it does not convey or share the excellence a d quality of the hotel
The Rittenhouse lived up to it's reputation. Between the complimentary pretzel and root beer, and the outstanding service in the Library bar, the Rittenhouse felt like home. Would highly recommend a stay there.
We spent Thanksgiving weekend at the Rittenhouse and everything was first class. Every Rittenhouse employee we came in contact with was pleasant and engaging. The concierge really saved us Thanksgiving night

😀 I would easily stay in this hotel again. An old gem, still giving it’s best
And I like getting lost in an old architectural beauty from time to time. Room (King bed) and bathroom large, with nice views. Rook service came by and checked on me daily. Staffing levels still seem low, post-pandemic
Best experience was ordering food, going to upstairs bar to pick up (delivery option not available late evening)…and having a really nice meal in my room. It’s the little things for me
This is one of those hotels where you will be pleased - as i was - if you go in with proper expectations. If you expect a regular, aseptic, yet efficient hotel experience you will be disappointed
As reviews have noted, this is a hotel with old world charm. And old world equipment and maze like construction. I like taking the slow elevator from time to time
This haunted location is fun to explore, but staying here is comfortable like home. A must experience venue, walking distance to all city center attractions
