Great Hotel right in downtown. Walking distance to many places you will want to visit in Philadelphia. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and updated. The front desk was very nice and accommodating. 2 blocks from Redding Market Place. About 5 blocks from Convention center. Many other great places and sites nearby.
Excellent hotel. The location was perfect- right near many restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The gym, wet sauna, and dry sauna are included with your stay. The wifi signal was strong and I did not have any issues with it. The bed was extremely comfy and the view from the 24th floor was gorgeous. The hotel bar was convenient as well...
Overall, this is a great hotel with very friendly staff and perfect location for my needs. Clean and spacious room. Very quiet as well. The issue is the automatic revolving door that stops non stop and when the hotel is full, you have to wait to get in. Overall, great hotel.
Great hotel in building with character. Room was spotless and remodeled relatively recently. Awesome location. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beds are very comfortable if you like firm mattresses. One star off room due to limited amount of power outlets and low water pressure in sink. I will stay here next time in town. Highly recommend!
My first time visiting this hotel was an amazing experience. The scenery was beautiful, and I took full advantage of the amenities such as the gym with a fantastic sauna. The breakfast was a great experience supported by a sweet staff member named Gigi. The digital/electronically experience could be updated within the rooms but none the less I slept like a baby in the comfy bed. I definitely would...
Wife there for conference. Room was fine and bed comfortable. The restaurant downstairs had excellent breakfast but dinners were, for us, a bit pricey. Easy walk to Reading Terminal Market and many restaurants. Staff was helpful and friendly and valet parking helps to ease the check in and out.

This is easily my favorite hotel in the city. Whenever my parents or my grandmother comes to town, they always stay here and leave very well-rested. Apparently the breakfast is quite delicious as well. And given the location, the price is very reasonable as well.
Clean rooms. Some have kitchenettes, which is great for folks who prefer to make light meals and snacks to make their stay even more comfortable. Great rate for the location. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is professional and nice. Overall great stay! Perfect location within walking distance of many stores, parking, and restaurants. Great place to stay in the heart of Philadelphia!
My wife and I stayed there 2 years ago and we will be going back next month. Yes the rooms are small, but who cares when you are barely there. We were celebrating our 1st anniversary and had a great time!!! The location was freaking awesome...we walked everywhere and a drugstore was literally right next door. Its a prime location for exploring the city, the staff was awesome, rooms clean...just a great...
There's no better location. The hotel is on a commercial street, with plenty of stores, bars and restaurants nearby, and a small shopping center right across the street. The historic center and old city are at walking distance, and so is the Rocky statue if you fancy that. The room was bright and comfortable, with a coffee machine and nice bathing products. I also appreciated the complimentary tea...
Beautiful hotel with great views and charming service. It's in a great location downtown with plenty of things to do, and the desk always has helpful options on where to eat. I heard the dining room also serves food. They are also very accommodating with service/ emotional support animals, and one of the workers always was sure to play with my sister's service dog while we were there. They also have...

The staff was very friendly and the rooms were well appointed.
I’ve been staying here at least once a year for many years now and I was sooo impressed when I first started coming but I do agree with other reviews that is time for some updates. The mattresses desperately need to be replaced as well as the area rugs that are in some of the rooms. The toilet barely flushed and the shower curtain rod would not hold the shower curtain up resulting in a huge puddle...
Great stay overall! Gabby at the front desk was super accommodating and welcoming when we arrived and departed. Room had nice high ceilings and an awesome view of City Hall. Really clean across board. Perfectly central location and a nice bar in lobby area. Very happy stay!
Customer service has been amazing but the hotel stay has just been okay. The gym looked like it had been cleaned in several days, didn't have towels or cups for water. Additionally, there isn't much fitness equipment. They don't have a concierge lounge as some other Marriotts have but they did offer a continental breakfast to make up for it which included several options of bread, fruit, and coffee...
Nicely designed upscale rooms. Friendly staff. Provided robes on request. Great location by quality restaurants. Espresso in room. Classy hotel bar that had a French hot breakfast in the morning. Unique enclosed courtyard which would be a good work/reading area. Zero complaints, would recommend!
Le Meridien is a very nice hotel convenient to downtown Philadelphia. The bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Other room amenities were lacking. At $280/night I expect a little more. There was 1 free bottle of water. The other bottle cost $7, which we found hilarious. There were loads of snacks and drinks in the fridge, all over-priced, which we didn't touch. The weirdest...

Derek at the front desk was easily the most helpful, pleasant person I have ever encountered at a hotel. My girlfriend and I stayed there a few months ago and every so often one of us remembers, "Hey, we still need to write a review for Derek!" because he put us in such a good mood and we thought maybe writing a five star Derek review would help him get a promotion or a raise because he definitely...
I don't understand a bad review at all. Immaculately clean everywhere. Comfy beds. The deal with Park/Fly = phenomenal. Great staff at the little Bar Restaurant and also nice fellow at check in. His job was hard handling everything by himself yet still pleasant!
Dated Hotel in need of refurbishment. Strange that wash basin is not in the bathroom. Thin walls allow noise to pass through. Polite, helpful staff, good location close to airport for short business trips. Good breakfast although limited choice
We arrived very early and Derek - who was at the front desk was awesome. It had been a very stressful business trip and he immediately set us at ease with his friendliness and was able to get a room right away. My luggage, which had been lost when I began my weekend-long business trip arrived at 9:30 that night (we fly out in the morning) and Dillon (at the front desk) was awesome in making sure my...
Building seems older, but clean and easy to navigate. Shuttle was prompt and quick from and back to the airport. Service was excellent. We were stranded late at night without luggage. Thank you for giving us a few hours of safe sleep during our interrupted travel plans.
I enjoy an evening with co-workers at the hotel restaurant. The food was good, prices were slightly above average. They offered several local craft style beers and all of the Mainstays, a few more options would be appreciated. Overall a good experience and friendly staff.

Location, friendly staff, in particular the staff in the Breakfast room who were very helpful and friendly.
This location is above average in every way. From the customer service to the hot breakfast, this place delivers. I should also mention that the upkeep is impeccable and the cleanliness of the common areas and the rooms themselves is excellent. All of this, plus you are getting a million dollar location. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people that work there.
Great stay!!! Perfectly located in center city near many museums, restaurants and activities. highly recommend. room was clean, bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the city! they were very accommodating! We were suppose to check in at 4 Pm but they allowed us to check in at 1! wonderful customer service and all staff were kind, especially Mark at the front desk and the valet staff!
Comfortable bed, convenient location, nice gym for a hotel, free breakfast is a perk. Room smelled kind of like pee every time I walked in, shower head’s mount was broken and wouldn’t stay in place, and there were long black hairs in the bathroom and a few other places in the room. It wasn’t a bad stay overall but these are basic maintenance and cleanliness issues I would expect to be taken care...
Front desk staff were all kind and helpful, hotel seemed clean enough and breakfast was better than other Residence Inns I've visited across the country. My bed was made with the fitted sheet inside out so that was odd. Few hairs in the shower which certainly did not belong to me. My biggest complaint would be noise from neighbors and the TERRIBLE AC unit. Upon arrival the thermostat was set to 6...
This was a perfect location for the convention center. Right near reading terminal market for food. Walk a couple blocks and you're at a park, or a mall, or surrounded by food. The hotel is in an excellent location. The staff was really friendly and helpful.
Overall, the experience at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown was a good one. Returning to Philly for a visit (having previously lived there for a decade), I booked the hotel due to a great deal online. I was most familiar with the building due to the FedEx inside (copies don't make themselves), but the rooms were nice enough, if a little dated. Considering the foot traffic the place gets, I was pleasantly...
Great location. The front desk is always busy but they make an effort to serve you with a smile. Room service is good and overall the staff are friendly. The renovated side closer to the convention centre leaves alot to be desired. I've stayed at this hotel in the past and was quite disappointed with these rooms. The other side of the hotel is more modern and the rooms are kept better. They said...
Love this hotel and the concierge lounge is amazing!! My only complaint is the air quality in my room. I was staying in the tower suites and every morning I would wake up to a layer of dust covering everything as the air settled overnight and the air was extremely dry. Definitely need to have some humidifier’s available for these rooms especially with the dry climate in Philly. It was so convenient...
Great location!!! I was on a quick trip overnight and didn't get to venture out. I loved the lobby with the bar in the middle. It's a great place to hang out and have a drink or two. The room was standard, nothing over the top. They need to update their tvs. I definitely recommend this hotel.
Stayed for one night from Saturday-Sunday. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Pillows were comfortable. It was nice to have a bathtub instead of a stand-in shower and the room was reasonably spacious. Plus, it was in a convenient location, close to pretty much everything. Would definitely stay here again! The only downside is that the valet/parking is expensive. It’s about...

It's the perfect place to stay if you are planning to go to the stadium. Room was nice and clean.
Great location for attending event as it was within walking distance of the stadium. It was difficult to get to with traffic conditions and police had roads blocked off. Once there, hotel is nice and clean. Really only downside was having no restaurants close by but the hotel does have an on-site restaurant with a few options.
This was a comfortable place to stay by the hotel! Amenities are minimal and the desk service is sub-par. It is a very convenient spot near the airport if you have an early flight. The room didn't have any maintenance issues which is always nice. Parking is $10 per night though, so be prepared for that.
Staff nice and helpful. Especially with transportation around the city. Restaurant on site was good with decent variety ( could have been a little better) but breakfast was excellent. Ate there every morning of our stay. There was a security issue near our room and security seemed quick to respond and resolve situation. I really appreciated that seeing it was 2am. On our checkout day the hotel held...
Did not know this gem of a hotel existed. Directly across from Lincoln Financial Field, Wells Fargo Center. Staff were helpful, for already prepped meals, selection was good. Drinks were generous pours, room comfortable. If Marriott and other hotels would only raise the heights of commodes, could consider 5 stars.
Clean... Clean... Clean. Staff including security...very cool. Dope location. Priced Right. Whenever I'm in Philly that's why I'm staying. I highly recommend this location.

The location was very good, right in the middle of the city. The room was nice (other than the size) and clean, the shower was great. and the bed very confortable.
Stayed 1 night for Auto Show Black Tie. Received upgraded corner room overlooking convention center and city hall. The bathroom was new and modern, along with the rest of the furnishings. There is no built-in closet but a vanity to hang your clothes with a small ironing board and iron. Therefore if you have a lot of luggage the room could become cramped for space. A solid stay with comfortable bed, nice service, and a small-but-decent gym (there are dumbbells, treadmill, etc). As Elite members we had the option of getting the breakfast coupons from the restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't get that. We got the corner room with double views, which was great and spacious. We had a amazing stay here, our rooms were so nice. They were spotless and had everything we needed. The restaurant down stairs was amazing for breakfast. This boutique little hotel is in a great location with lots of good food options nearby. It is an older building and probably not super handicap accessible if that is a concern for you. They have coffee and muffins from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. And check out isn't until 12:00 which is a blessing. The staff here was so kind and courteous and we felt very welcome. I booked a room here for my girlfriend's birthday- Antonio went above and beyond to make our experience here wonderful. The room was beautiful, the bed was comfy, and they were even able to work with Old City Flowers to have a gorgeous bouquet in the room when we arrived. We only stayed one night but I wish we stayed longer!
I enjoyed my stay at Penn’s hotel. Ayana went that extra step to get what I requested when I made the reservations on the phone, thank you plus she’s sweet, polite and friendly, in fact all the stuff were friendly nice. I just stayed at Penn's View for the first time, and will definitely be back. At every point during my stay, the staff went out of their way to make it an incredible experience. Don't miss out on the restaurant - we sat at the bar and had the most amazing pasta and personalized service (with so many great wine recommendations!). This hotel is truly a gem and I can't wait to stay here again.
I made a reservation through Booking, we were going to Philly for a concert and this hotel seemed reasonably priced when comparing to others. We liked it. Close to Theater of the Living Arts (if you're going to a concert), right across the street from some places you can eat, there's a parking area you can use and it's $30 if you park overnight as guest of the hotel. They provided coffee in the morning...
It is a lovely little hotel that has a upscale feel to it. Beware the recommended lot next door if you are going to be out touring the next day. They charged us $42 for less than 24 hours. Most expensive in Philadelphia I'm pretty sure. The hotel should consider recommending a different lot.

Love this hotel and will def stay again!!!! Drawbacks: the tv is a little awkward (up high, no channel guide); the bedding is a little old and the bed kind of hard. But that’s it- Positives? Big Thank You to the very sweet Chris who greeted us and the beautiful Selma who danced and sang with us. Also, thanks to the gorgeous mural outside of our room. (Pictures in review). Great quaint hotel, with great snacks and continental breakfast. Although they should have more drinks for people who do not drink alcoholic beverages. We will be repeat customers and love this home away from home. Also to finish this great staff who keep us safe. Once again thank you.
A decent-quality, affordable hotel. The room environment is good (although a little old), and the location is quiet in the downtown area. It is walking distance to city hall and independence hall. The breakfast is very simple. They have coffee and tea (and an amazing fireplace) in the lobby. It is very suitable for young people and tourists.
I’m giving this place just an “OK” rating. The front desk people were nice. The hotel is fine. Broken window shades in my room. But it was clean. I specifically asked and paid extra for a bathtub in my room because I’ve been visiting a friend in the hospital and wanted to be able to take advantage of some hot baths for deep rest and recuperation. so they did put me in a room that was higher priced...

We came to stay at the Notary hotel in downtown Philadelphia during our first visit to the city. We arrived around 8 AM for check-in, and we were surprised as to how quickly the front desk staff were able to accommodate us. A decent hotel. It’s nice to be in a historic building. But the hotel seems to be still lacking staff a couple months into the second half of 2022. A couple examples: 1. housekeeping services are not provided daily and you have to request one day earlier. The worse part is nobody would tell you this until you asked about housekeeping. 2. This hotel did not feel like a true Ritz Carlton property. The building is gorgeous. But the hotel is in need of a renovation. There is no real restaurant…tables are set off to the side of the lobby separated by a curtain. The wait for the elevators was horrendous…sometimes as much as 15 minutes. And the room was uneventful. Stayed here while in the city for courses. Wanted to stay somewhere comfortable, clean and safe. The hotel was fantastic and located very conveniently for us. The hotel coffee spot and bar for after dinner drinks hit the spot and the staff were all super helpful and helped us make reservations as needed. Beautiful hotel. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Incredible views from the window of my room: the Pittsburgh clock tower—the tallest Masonry structure (582 feet) without a steel frame. The lobby is stunning. The staff of courteous and accommodating. One improvement that can be made is to the breakfast menu. The cooking is a little bit bland.

The hotel was very nice. The Agent at the desk, was very friendly and put us in a room with a view. The area around the hotel had everything we needed and also conveniently located off the highway. The pool was Indoors and heated, and next to the fitness center. They also had a sauna which was a plus. The hotel gave us waters upon our arrival. I had no complaints. Will be visiting again!

This hotel is wonderfully located. The beds were comfortable, rooms are big and clean. Breakfast staff were nice.
The Sofitel is a very nice hotel that's a short walk from Rittenhouse Square and 30th Street Station. Our room had a nice view of other buildings, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. For family travel, I'd note that their rooms with 2 beds have full beds rather than queen size, and the bathroom panels do not have locks. The room sizes are pretty spacious and the beds are comfortable.
The staff and accommodations at the Sofetil Hotel were exceptional. I stayed there two nights while attending a family wedding and the service was outstanding. It was a very pleasant experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant and buffet breakfast are outstanding. I highly recommend staying there. I was very pleased with the service.
From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I had exceptional service! Taron, checked me in and made sure all my needs were met and answered any questions I had. This beautiful hotel is located in a great area where there’s plenty of shopping as well as amazing dining experiences. If you are not afraid to go on a little…long walks this is the perfect location. If you are into your fitness, they...
Sofitel Philadelphia at Rittenhouse is a great place to stay while in town. I was here for a long weekend and really enjoyed the room. Everything was clean and the front staff were pretty amazing. The room service breakfast came in to-go containers, but was delicious. Dinner at Liberté Lounge was classy and delicious. Their Location is great, as you can walk to many attractions, or get a ride share...
My stay at the Sofitel was exceptional and over met the expectations I had. Staff was wonderful and accommodating, super responsive with any need that we may have had. The room was spacious and clean with a nice little view of the city. Breakfast was amazing and they even accommodated us with a little later checkout. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for...

Stayed for a Saturday and Sunday night for a weekend getaway to Philly for some sightseeing. The location is perfect for visiting the historic district, and there are a number of excellent restaurants in the area. We chose this hotel for the location as well as prior stays at other Kimpton hotels. We were disappointed in this particular Kimpton. Check in was smooth, and the lobby area was nice,...
Nice hotel in a great tourist location. Lots of things to do and places to eat. We enjoyed the happy hour and views from our room. It’s a shame the hotel bar and restaurant were closed on Sundays, some basic features of a nicer hotel. The carpets and furniture are starting to look worn, something the hotel should start replacing to keep it the nice facility it is.
The Monaco is an elegant and well appointed hotel, surrounded by the history of not only the city, but the country. From Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, to being able to see the USS New Jersey on the river, the views are something else. The common areas are beautiful, from the ship chandelier in the entrance way, to the furniture around the reception area. The rooms are comfortable and look...
Though not the fanciest hotel in Philadelphia, it is my favorite because of its location, pet friendly policy, and practicality. I've encountered different staff and everyone has always been very nice and helpful. I've stayed in a room with no view, partial view, and park view - and they've always been good, comfortable, and clean. Once I had to ask for a (very) late checkout and paid a little extra...
From the perfect location in Old City to the amazing staff and beautiful decor this hotel is a complete class act. I would definitely return here to stay. Not only does the hotel host complimentary morning beverages (tea and coffee) but they also host an evening cocktail hour in the reservation parlor. The staff were all polite and professional from the curbside valet attendant (David) to the front...
Eclectic design, good service, comfortable amenities. Penthouse suite features vaulted ceilings, separate dining room, a large bedroom and two bathrooms. The hotel is an enjoyable venue for a celebration with multiple overnight visitors. Iconic experiences from mid-range to high-end. Unique rooftop lounge and bar for daytime and evening photos and events. Notable restaurant and bar on ground level...

Great location. Wonderful vibes. Modern and fun lobby with restaurants open at varying times. Staff was helpful and kind. Rooms are a bit older but spacious. Enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again if I was going to downtown events. Many restaurants are walkable in the area.
Pros: Great location, vibe is modern and interesting. Cool Mediterranean bar attached. Cons: Our room was dirty. I am not too particular but my girlfriend was upset. Bathroom was not cleaned very well, and the furniture had seen better days. It's a shame, because I love the location and overall the hotel seems cool, but I think we will look for somewhere else to stay next time we visit.
My wife and I arrived with our newborn and the bellman was very kind. I believe his name was Francisco. He helped us get our bags immediately from our car and held them for us in the lobby. While I went to go park the car. He was very friendly and helped us however he could! Once we checked in, which was a very easy process, we are able to get right into our room around 1:00 p.m. And noticed the room...
This place is much better than most of the cheap hotels I usually frequent, but I'm only giving it 3 stars because of a few big drawbacks. Pros: -Room was clean -They provide plenty of pillows -Thermostat in the room, so you can adjust the temp -The bathtub was super spacious and the shower was nice and easy to use, which for some reason is a rarity with hotels Cons: -The room is way too expensive...
We stayed here for 1 night while my husband and I visted some family, and it was a wonderful experience! The hotel was very clean, and very comfortable to stay at. The service we recieved was outstanding, and we will definitely be back! The location is superior, as well! It is near an abundance of shopping and dining, and in walking distance to museums and historical sites. This hotel far exceeded...
Really nice rooms. Price is usually pretty normal for this area of the city. It’s within a few steps of the actual Rittenhouse square and about a half dozen of the best restaurants in town. Maybe more like a dozen or more. It’s in a great location. If you are looking for more upscale and quality rooms, if you don’t stay in one of the bigger hotels in the city you want to stay on the west side of Broad...

location, affordable parking. Chocolate chip cookies upon check in was a nice bonus.
Rooms could've been cleaner. We found trash under the beds. Probably hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. We found cheese wrappers on the floor behind the desk chair. The plugs by the lamps between the beds were terrible and was unable to plug my phone in to charge. I wound think for what we paid, we'd feel hooked up. We made good with what we had. Other than that, staff is great, the breakfast area staff...
Despite challenges with staffing, the DoubleTree provided a comfortable stay and an efficient and comfortable experience for my business meetings. The room was clean and well appointed, with newer seating and headboards. The mini fridge was clean and cold, and there was an in-room coffee option. The ironing board was rather rickety, but it got the job done when I needed to quickly freshen up my outfit...
Convenient location and good size rooms. The rooms definitely need some upgrading. There was no hot water and maintenance wasn't yet but had to leave for a meeting so I had to take a very cold shower which was very unpleasant. Luckily the front desk was nice enough to change rooms but still had to suffer the cold water one morning. The parking garage is pretty tight but at least it's next to the building...
Me and my son spent a few days in Philadelphia and stayed at this location because of its closeness to so many attractions. The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious with pretty up to date furnishings. A huge plus for me is that the beds are very comfortable! I usually don’t sleep well in hotels but slept great here. The bathroom was clean as well, another plus. The price...
The hotel has a great location. It is within walking distance of many restaurants. The rooms were updated somewhat. My two biggest issues with this hotel, the breakfast and the bistro in the lobby. First breakfast, in the app it states it is a breakfast buffet but it is really a continental breakfast, at best. What others hotels offer as free, they charge 24/person. Skip it, it's not worth the price...
