Philadelphia, 1201 Market Street 🧭 Map
Super nice hotel with a great location right near the market. Other restaurants are nearby, as is the convention center. Great lobby and social meeting area
Downtown Center neighborhood and across the street (7-Eleven entrance) camped by homeless people begging for change
The front desk is always busy but they make an effort to serve you with a smile. Room service is good and overall the staff are friendly. The renovated side closer to the convention centre leaves alot to be desired
Great location. Acceptable service levels. Amenities can be better.
Next to Reading Terminal Market
The hotel's right in the middle of everything, which is great. The rooms are modern, which is good. Unfortunately, the 4,000 person conference here this weekend is clogging the elevators and on site restaurant

However, the food was delicious as I enjoyed my brussel sprout salad most of all. Breakfast was more of a normal standard menu with some unique items, above average. All restaurant staff were wonderful and pleasant
Clean, updated room. I was in a quiet alcove but my neighbors were exceptionally loud and slamming doors late at night and early in am. I’ve stayed here before and enjoy the accommodations.
2 blocks from Redding Market Place. About 5 blocks from Convention center. Many other great places and sites nearby
Good thing my 6'3" husband didn't come along because he'd be flush to the head board! The hotel is a block away from Reading Terminal and there are many very nice restaurants and pubs withing walking distance
Walking distance to many places you will want to visit in Philadelphia. The rooms are very nice and clean. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and updated. The front desk was very nice and accommodating
The location was perfect- right near many restaurants, shopping areas, and bars. The hotel was very clean and the staff were all very helpful. The gym, wet sauna, and dry sauna are included with your stay

Room was otherwise nice, staff was courteous (even with a booking issue, though that was my fault honestly). Super close walk to the convention center, and plenty of food options close by
OK, I may not be a regular, but I’ve stayed here at least 4 times in the last 10 years or so, for conferences and for overnight theater stays, and it’s my favorite hotel. The standard has been maintained the entire time
The convenience store/coffee shop has more variety than the usual grab-n-go market in most hotels, including fresh pastries. The folks at the desk and market and bar are all pleasant & helpful
We had no idea what to expect, and we found it to be one of the nicer hotels in its price range that we’ve stayed at! Our room was very clean and cozy with a beautiful panoramic view
My only complaint about my room was that it was so close to the elevator, and I could hear some metallic sound from it. Not really a big deal, but worth noting
The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of foods and was good! Not the best hotel breakfast we’ve had, but one that we felt very much satisfied with

Philadelphia, Ten Avenue of the Arts 🧭 Map
The hotel is located close to the City Hall, in the downtown center of Philadelphia. The Philadelphia City Hall is a landmark building in American history. Its clock tower is taller than the Big Ben in the UK
I also appreciated the complimentary amenities, which included a well-stocked mini-bar and thoughtful touches like fresh fruit and high-quality toiletries. One of the standout features of the Ritz Carlton is its staff
My stay on the 30th floor was a highlight, offering panoramic views that left me breathless. The sight of the bustling city below, with its iconic skyline, was a constant reminder of how vibrant Philadelphia is
The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the plush furnishings to the exquisite decor. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the city
As the sun set, the city transformed into a sea of twinkling lights, creating a magical backdrop that made my evenings unforgettable. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and sophistication
You can climb to the top to visit. The hotel lobby is very grand, with a marble dome-shaped roof and transparent glass in the middle that can see the sky. The service is warm and polite

She was very nice and apologized, saying she didn't know there were two people staying and that they would arrange water for two people in our room! Attitude is really important; treating guests like ****** is terrible! I love this hotel, and this was my second stay, but I was "shocked" by the evening receptionist! Such attitude is unacceptable and I can't give a good review!
During checkout, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the accommodations and the lady at the front was able to comp one night of the two and took care of our parking so we were happy with that
The evening receptionist was terrible. We registered two people when we made the reservation, and the room only had one free bottle of water
Very nice hotel, the room is big, very good location. This is my second time staying in this hotel. Although only one night this time , I enjoyed very much. The front desk helper is very helpful
We asked for another, but the receptionist said they don't offer free water! We asked her about the bottle of water in the room, and she said it might have been left by another guest or the waiter! Don't they clean up after other guests? The next day, we ran into the waiter and asked her directly
We already checked out, but we are not leaving until late afternoon, I asked them for a room for a short stay because my son has audition in the afternoon, they gave us a very nice room to stay and practice, which is really helpful

Location is in the heart of historic Philly. You can walk almost all the “sites to see”. The staff at check in were friendly and knowledgeable. Coffee and water available at main area. Very clean and the decor is so fun
Love the extra amenities like the lavender towelettes. Quiet room despite being next to a busy area
This location was impeccable! We had a wonderful stay…this was also our early anniversary present for ourselves, and Kimpton spoiled us with a custom framed photo with our love song printed inside, yummy treats, and a complimentary bottle of wine! Wow! We are lucky! Highly recommend this stay! Thank you Hotel Monaco!
Lovely place!!!! Unique decor, wine at 5, friendly staff. We stayed in 2 different rooms (we added a day), and the first bathroom was WAY better (I don't understand the "half glass" door in the shower
I had a very pleasant stay here over the weekend. Room was spacious, very stylish and comfortable. As a Diamond member, I got full access to a la cart brunch menu on Sunday, and breakfast on Monday
My husband and I came into Philly for a long weekend to enjoy some live music at the Linc. We wanted to stay near some history, while still being close to restaurants and entertainment

Door lock in the main entrance is broken. There is hair in the bathroom. No body wash, just soap. Anyway, the room is still confort to stay. With a gym room and free coffee all the time.
This is easily my favorite hotel in the city. Whenever my parents or my grandmother comes to town, they always stay here and leave very well-rested. Apparently the breakfast is quite delicious as well
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-priced, with all the essentials I needed for a short stay. While the space—especially the bathroom—was on the smaller side, it was functional
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is professional and nice. Overall great stay! Perfect location within walking distance of many stores, parking, and restaurants
The only major downside was an unexpected fire alarm at 4am, which was quite disruptive. Overall, a solid option if location and value are your top priorities
Nice rooms, not too big not too small. Great location, and not far from a Metro stop. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was very modern.

The location is very convenient in the city center, 12th street. Right in front of the hotel is the local food market, which is great for travellers to experience the city's food
There is a bus to Union Station and attractions at the hotel entrance, which is very convenient
The room is very large and well-equipped. The surrounding area is clean and looks safe. The restaurant on the first floor provides all meals. Walgreen and Street Market opposite meet your daily needs.
Vanessa and Emily are absolutely amazing! We had some issues (our end) with checking in and Emily and Vanessa went above and beyond to make sure we not only were able to check-in but check-in early to rest after a long travel day
Right in front of Reading Terminal with lots of amazing food! Walking distance to City Hall, the Christmas market, Hard Rock Cafe and other attractions in Philly. Breakfast was okay.
The location was perfect for attending a swing dance event at the nearby City Winery and it is close to the Jefferson regional rail station (our transportation), the Reading Terminal Market (we purchased pastries for an after dance snack), as well as, many Philly attractions

From the valet, to the front desk, and housekeeping, everyone has been outstanding to deal with. Also, even the standard rooms here are fairly large. The room feels almost like a studio suite, which is great
I was disappointed after my first trip back in 30 years. The location and staff are terrific, but… There was no brochure in my room to inform me of their services
In any event, when you stay at the Rittenhouse house, along with the location and room size, the impeccable service all around is what you're paying for which is why this place gets 5 stars in my book even though the property needs slightly updated
I had a really good stay at The Rittenhouse. The staff were extremely attentive, professional, and kind, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful and comfortable visit.
While The Rittenhouse is very nice, the property definitely does need to be freshened up some in the lobby area, hallways, and rooms. With all that being said, the service here is absolutely fantastic
Pulling up to this property, it reminded us very much of the Windsor Court in New Orleans, which is a hotel we love

The best hotel location in the center of Philadelphia, within walking distance of various attractions and museums. However, the parking fee is expensive, $60 per night.
A great location just a block away from Independence Hall! Easy parking at the garage next door. The hotel is clean, modern, and within walking distance of great bars, restaurants, and landmarks
I’ll be sure to stay here again next time I am in Philly!
Plan to eat somewhere else than the restaurant in the hotel. The only thing we could find for her to eat was the lobster Mac n cheese-minus the lobster though we were still charged full price as if it had the lobster
Not a great hotel if you’re traveling with kids(we needed a rollaway bed and they never had one available) we made it work with the chase lounge and a bunch of extra bedding, but definitely wasn’t the plan
Very convenient area, close to major attractions, dining, shopping. Hotel could use a good scrub. My main complaint was the fact that I booked this specific hotel for the indoor pool for our 9yr old

Environment: The environment is first-class, very close to Penn State and the city center, with convenient transportation and good scenery. Service: Good service attitude, polite greetings, and not excessively intrusive
Great location with amazing views of Philadelphia. The business center was quiet and well designed and the coffee machine was a definite perk
The night view is charming! Great location! If we forgot to bring our suitcase, we were reminded to go back and get it! I will choose to stay here next time! My family is all satisfied. The parking lot is very crowded
The pool area is absolutely gorgeous though not heated, which was a little bit of a disappointment but did not put a damper on the experience at all. plenty of areas to lounge around in or for an event
The room is quite nice, the space is large, very comfortable, and the surrounding area is safe. The tableware and pots are fully equipped, and the service is good, but it lacks necessary toiletries.
The staff were extremely helpful in accommodating my request which made this my wife's best birthday ever. Room was clean, the views were beautiful and the location was close to everything

It's not the absolute best, but for the price, is well located, well appointed, and has a generally friendly/helpful staff. UPDATE: I believe they raised the price for the bag check to $2-3 per bag
Good price for location and service! Here's a few things, valet parking only ($38) so that's an added expense. Also, you can "check in early" but you won't be able to get to your room until 3 pm
If you have questions as to how far the car service goes, be sure to ask when you are booking the room. I asked and after a few minutes, they verified they would take us there. Overall, check this place out
I recently had to venture to Philly due to eye cancer and had care at the Wills Eye Institute. Obviously not a trip for pleasure but the hotel staff here made this unfortunate situation incredibly better
We arrived around 1 and they kept our bags for free and we were able to get exploring around Philly
Bags, you say? For $1, I repeat, ONE DOLLAR/bag, they will store your luggage safely until you are ready to depart. As for the room, we've always had a clean and well-appointed room

This was my first experience at a hostel, and I enjoyed every moment of it! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and the check- in and out process was so easy
Super-close to the subway (the Ell), and the neighborhood is charming, with lots to do and all of Philadelphia within reach. Overall, a great experience!!
I met so many awesome people who were also staying at the hostel. K, one of the staff members, hosted a pier crawl and we all had an amazing time
) Locked storage is large enough for a backpack only - but not a carry on suitcase and/or other items
I highly highly recommend this spot and that you just let everything go and just enjoy your stay here
It’s a great hostel! The sheets are already on the bed when you arrive, which is really wonderful
