This is one of the best managed holiday inn I have stayed at. Location is perfect right in the heart of downtown sightseeing and bars, with a liquor convenience store right across the street. The Sofitel is a very nice hotel that's a short walk from Rittenhouse Square and 30th Street Station. Our room had a nice view of other buildings, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. For family travel, I'd note that their rooms with 2 beds have full beds rather than queen size, and the bathroom panels do not have locks. The room sizes are pretty spacious and the beds are comfortable.

The staff: Michael, Robert, Angela, Leneese and a gentleman at the front desk (who's name I didn't get) where so kind and accommodating. The room was very clean and the bathroom was nice and equipped to meet my needs as a disabled person. I would stay there again and will recommend it to my friends.

Great service from the valets "louis" goes above and beyond. Hes the reason i gave four stars instead of three. Our room however had the faint smell of fish i let the front desk know, they offered to move us but we had already unpacked everything so we CHOSE to stay there my wife had some citrus spray that helped. Restaurants in the hotel were so overpriced it was sad.

Perfect location. Adjacent to the bookstore, across the road from Huntsman Hall, two blocks down from Hill. Rooms were comfortable, though bathroom door was hard to slide shut at times for some reason. Appreciated the Crabtree & Evelyn toiletry (my favourite). Concierge & valet staff were very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast a la carte at University Club was one of the best I’ve had in a while...

Great hotel, lived up to expectations. Clean, lots of space, kind staff. Room service meals could be better, but within what you would expect at a hotel like this. I will come back.

We stayed for two nights in August just to get away. Everything was amazing for us and our dog. The room, bed, and bathroom were wonderful. I only wish the room had a microwave and that they had actual room service, though we managed just fine placing pick up orders at the hotel restaurant.

Spent the weekend for our anniversary. Told them in advance we were celebrating and when we checked in there was a bottle of wine and a plate of chocolate covered strawberries waiting. Hotel was phenomenal! We had an upgraded room - dual showers were amazing. The restaurant was great: food, service, and ambiance. The only nightmare was parking. The street is ridiculously busy and we were lucky enough to time our ins/ours perfectly. The valet staff was friendly and helpful, so this is not to their fault. I will gladly return again in the future.

The Kimpton was a great hotel staff. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location within walking distance to most Philly sites. The architecture of the hotel is amazing and worth going just to see an amazingly well kept old building. Managers reception was a really enjoyable added touch.

In the middle of Center City, close to fabulous restaurants (may I recommend Ancient Spirits and Grille on Chestnut?), shopping, and Rittenhouse square. We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was great. Very good omelet and the service was good too. Very comfortable bed. Room was warm and cozy Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful.

This is easily my favorite hotel in the city. Whenever my parents or my grandmother comes to town, they always stay here and leave very well-rested. Apparently the breakfast is quite delicious as well. And given the location, the price is very reasonable as well.

Clean rooms. Some have kitchenettes, which is great for folks who prefer to make light meals and snacks to make their stay even more comfortable. Great rate for the location. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.

There's no better location. The hotel is on a commercial street, with plenty of stores, bars and restaurants nearby, and a small shopping center right across the street. My husband and i stayed in one of the skyline suites. It was a very nice room and although we didn’t have a microwave in our room, the decor and view from the top floor was nothing short of amazing!!! We had 24hr access to the lounge which was also amazing the view was just breathtaking (no microwave in there to heat our food up though). This hotel rooms were pretty nice and had a reasonable price per night. The kitchens were very helpful and the beds were comfortable; you can also control the temperature of the room. Also, downstairs by the lobby of the hotel there is the Con Murphy’s Irish pub which has some great food; flatbreads and burgers and sandwiches and beers. My husband and I had our second stay at the Windsor. We just love the spacious rooms and balconies. This weekend was unseasonably warm and their air did not work. The room was stifling. The room I was in was very comfortabl with an amazing view of the city. The two restaurants downstairs we're both great as well. If I have an opportunity to stay here again I will. The walk to the convention center was also brief.

Very nice hotel! Convenient and clean!! Rooms were big and accommodating, the size of the TVs were awesome. The staff was amazing. Breakfast was fresh and filling. The room itself was huge and I was surprised how quiet it was from the other people in the hotel. I didn’t even really hear another shower running. The traffic outside was louder but it could be that I was facing the city. The bathrooms need an update and the showers are not meant for tall people. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. They were also spacious! When we go there we were able to check in early and the concierge upgraded us to a city view room at no extra charge!
