Had a wonderful weekend here. The rooms are beautiful and spacious and i especially like the window seat. The bathrooms are large and luxurious and stocked with amenities. I ate here with friends recently. The kitchen was out of several menu items. I got the chicken wings and French dip sliders. Both were underwhelming. Wings were small and over-fried. The French dip was lacking flavor, and the meat was dry. Additionally, the bread tasted old.

Seaview Grille.......Eric is just outstanding. We always enjoy seeing him and having him at dinner. Polite, friendly, kind.......asked about our celebrations.......and treated us so well. Hands down an amazing asset to The Lodge. He never disappoints. Wonderful service.

Stayed here for FACTE Conference and it was really nice. Very close to Jacksonville so you can run there if you want. Also, located in the middle of a lot of shops and places to eat.

Hotel and staff are wonderful. Stayed here twice while visiting Mayo for spine surgery. The Bistro is ok, but watch your bill. They upcharge for things that are included so be careful, but that's not the hotels fault.

The room just looking at it was nice but when I placed a white rag to see if there was anything on the counter I got dirt and grime, My skin is sensitive so some things and the couch was not sprayed down or something because I got a rash from it, other than that I enjoyed the poolside view, and the Bistro.

We have appointments at Mayo so being on campus and able to just walk across the street is great! Getting a room with a King size bed is difficult as it is reverse from most hotels and has mostly two beds. Most of the staff is absolutely wonderful! There's only one guy who we've encountered that is rude and abrupt, everyone else goes above and beyond to be friendly and helpful!

The location was great, I enjoyed being so close to the Publix. I liked that the area was a little quieter than the Beach Boulevard area that I typically stay in for treatment at Mayo Clinic. I did have to switch rooms because of a broken A/C unit. Not a huge deal, the girl at the desk was able to move me to a different room right away. I slept fantastic!

It wasn't too bad of a hotel, but honestly it's pretty run down and needs some deep cleaning, updating and repairs, especially for the price. We had to visit Mayo so we stayed here once, but on return visits we plan to find somewhere a little bit nicer to stay.

The room itself was clean and bed was comfortable. Staff was also friendly. Only reason I gave the room 3 stars and overall 4 stars, is because the bathroom smelt like marijuana. I left the staff know this the next morning. It wasn't a big deal for me as it was only a one night stay. But didn't want to get charged for a pot head stinking up the bathroom.

Great staff, very welcoming and hospitable. Very nice rooms but window blinds not working and musty, damp feeling ... but A/C cleared up the mustiness. Excellent beds and pillows! The service here was so good. Sheldon, who works at the front desk, deserves a raise. I was definitely impressed by the kindness and customer service of the staff. I haven't experienced that level of customer service at very many places, and I travel a lot.
