Great hotel and service, was impressed from start to finish. We were given two adjoining rooms after pre requesting and were surprised to be given rooms on a high floor with a fantastic view of San Francisco. Rooms were clean, tidy and well appointed. Service was with a smile and all the staff were helpful and friendly.
My only gripe was that dinner choices were pretty bad and limited but there are plenty of restaurants around and while breakfast was really good with lots of choice I thought it was expensive ($30) and it was a struggle to ask for a Continental style breakfast (still $20).
All in all we liked it and would definitely stay there again.

UPDATED REVIEW- ended up with bed bugs after my stay at this hotel, brought my own blanket and facing the consequences
Stayed for 3 days. The rooms are nice, we got a great city view from our room. Blankets had hair in them and eyelashes when we folded them back, so just slept on top of them and got a blanket to share. We stopped at a store to save money and bought food to put in the fridge, but when we got back to our hotel later that night all the food was spoiled because the fridge was not working so it just wasted our money. The elevator can be a little loud, and the walls are a little thin. We did feel safe though. The ladies that work the front desk are nasty and rude, but the men were super nice. I'd stay again, even with some of the cons that come with the hotel. It's better than most.

Great hotel! Went here back in March of 2024, and it was one of the best hotels I've been to so far. The hotel was fairly big and the views from the rooms were so beautiful! They also had a store at the lobby with a variety of items to buy. I would definitely come back to this hotel when I go back to San Francisco with my family. Overall, this hotel was very great!! 👍🔥🔥💯💯💯

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room was spacious and clean. We were on a higher floor and had a beautiful view of the city. Front desk were friendly. We had a problem with our parking ticket to exit and they promptly helped us to resolve the issue.
It’s a great location with many restaurants within a short walk and a cable car stop just around the corner. We will stay here again.

Excellent service,location, and view. I liked having a workout area. Water refill station. Pool nice . Are rental car felt safe in the parking garage. It was easy to get in and out with ticket. Staff very friendly towards all guests. Elevators very secure.

For where the hotel is situated there is not much bad to say. Your right off a cable car stop, a whole foods, and a Starbucks. So if your a business traveler it has the necessity in a quick walk. Best thing is the beds are firm and provide a solid night sleep. Staff was nice and I had no issues. Rooms were clean. A great stay.

The staff here treated me poorly. I am a woman with a deeper skin tone and I took the time to come downstairs and ask if there was a microwave and the staff confronted me rudely and asked if I was even a guest there. Then they proceeded to vehemently deny that there could ever be a microwave in the building and act as if I were not in my right mind for asking. It took 10 minutes wait time to get through to the front desk on the phone when they finally told me yes there was a microwave on the lower level. Not sure why the staff could not have just told me that instead of treating me like an intruder instead of someone who paid $1100 to stay there.
Edit 1: PR Team responded below. Interesting that they are pretending to care publicly but told me to toughen up when I reported this treatment to them in-person as it was happening. Do not waste your money here.

I have been coming to this particular Holiday Inn since 1998. It has always and yes nearly 24 years after my first stay it has been the best value for the dollar visit in SF. The views are more breath taking the higher up the hotel you stay. I love this place. Aweesome staff, the new layout is more sophisticated and more open than it was previously. Also security is exceptional.

Remarkable service experience! My brother really likes to stay at this hotel since we were kids. He deeply loves the atmosphere and the great interior all over the place. Their food was incredibly great and terrific! I admired their wonderful, reliable, and reasonable service! This hotel is highly recommended. See you next time, guys!

Update: I've stayed at this hotel several times but this visit was not the best. The sheets have been washed or dried with some weird perfumed product making it difficult to sleep. HVAC unit sounds like a tank when it starts up. Stains on the floor, smoke detector hanging off the wall, couldn't get anyone to take my order for dinner and ordered delivery from somewhere else. Front desk staff did his best to take care of me but his efforts were the only highlight.

For a Holiday Inn, it’s a fancy one. Gym, pool, and laundry on the sixth floor.
