Hilton San Francisco Union Square
San Francisco, 333 O'Farrell Street 🧭 Map
· The croissants were dry. I paid for breakfast directly at the hotel, there was no record of it. We sorted this out at the front desk and were embarrassedly turned away at the restaurant. It was sorted at the end. The room was quite warm
Great location. Easy access to a lot of places. Get a high floor for a view. Pool is on the 16th floor.
A very good hotel. The breakfasts are wonderful.
Strange problem - do not provide a Shuttle service to the airport. Otherwise all good, rather the opposite - very well, you feel like a Man!
Excellent property. They are very generous with upgrades for HHonors members, provide a wait free check-in with the digital key option, through the app, and were very attentive to my needs via text. What could be more convenient than that? It's also in a great location in the city, very close to car rental facilities, should you decide to drive to the coast or wine country. If you can find the means...
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on here and they had the cheapest rates around...
Great stay here a couple of weekends back. Check in was quick and easy. Rooms were great for our price. The hotel was close to everything. One tip would be to avoid the parking costs at the hotel and park across the street in one of the parking lots...

This is an absolutely beautiful hotel! The rooms are well decorated and make you feel like you are in a boutique hotel instead of a large chain. Good location and walking distance to pretty much anything. The staff was nothing but nice and extemerly helpful.
Great value for the quality of service, the central location, and the quality of the rooms. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and check-in is very quick. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the location is hard to beat.
The breakfast was great for the price (~$20) but this has been closed for renovations I believe for quite some time.
The hotel restaurant is good with helpful staff...
Room feels big. It's quiet and clean. The location downtown is nice. I've never had many requirements for a hotel so overall this is everything I could ask for - helps that I'm here on business so am not paying out of pocket.
They recently renovated every room and now they are NICE. They're also pretty big. Fun decor, comfy bed, nice touches like USB ports along with wall outlets next to the bed. The shower is big, nice, and clean.
You can get a fair amount of street noise, trucks backing up, etc. But you're in the middle of downtown San Francisco so you have to kind of expect it.
The staff are friendly. It was pouring...
Best area hotel, not your regular courtyard property. Well done, renovated, super well managed, rooms good size for downtown US city. Good lobby chill out space. Good pricing for that city. Location 10 minutes to virtually anything you need.
Certainly not the place to come to if you are on a tight budget. Parking is $64 a night. The room was very nice. We got one of the newly renovated ones. Very modern and clean.

Love Marriot! Wonderful experience from the minute the doorman open the door! Check in staff was friendly and very helpful. Ken in the bar is very personable and the service is great. The mattress and pillows were wonderful! Room was well cleaned.
Wonderful food and service
The room we stayed in was remodeled for a nice modern--but still very comfortable--interior. The shower was awesome and the bed was a dream. We had a great view of the bay and Coit Tower. I would definitely recommend the place for a night in the city that won't break the bank.
Great location. This Marriott is undergoing renovations in early 2018 and I was able to get in one of the newer rooms. It was an updated room with more modern touches for a Marriott. The breakfast at the lounge (for platinum holders) was well done. I enjoyed my stay.
The hotel is located in a convenient location to Union Square. There was plenty of shopping and other tourist stuff to do within walking distance. The rooms were comfortable. The one big negative was how long it took the valet to bring my car around. He said 15-20 minutes and it took at least 30 minutes.
Don't let the 70's exterior facade fool you - this place is as up to date as any hotel. The rooms and beds are comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The location is convenient and central, too. The views from the higher floors are pretty good, too.

This is the most luxurious hotel in the world! It was a flawless, sparkling environment. It is suitable for both large parties and dates. For me it was a wonderful place to heal. We've had a good time so far. You'll need a decent vantage point to see the entire area. You did an amazing job!
Very beautiful place, downtown San Francisco
Go to the View Bar on top floor and enjoy the view. Be ready for high prices on drinks though.
Cozy lobby full of books, welcome any time of day and night. Huge event spaces under ground and above.
Wow! I was extremely impressed by this hotel. It was very big and nice looking, the rooms were nice, I was particularly impressed by the bar on the 39th floor. The views from up there were spectacular. The hotel's location was also very nice and convenient. I would love to stay there again. This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in to this date.
Everything was really good. The only trouble we ran into was having to deal with a very large event that was going on during our stay. There should have been an employee helping guests with the elevators when the conferences got out. We literally waited 20-25 minutes for elevators once, while other waits we're averaging 10 minutes. One of six elevators for non-conference guests would have been ideal...

San Francisco, 386 Geary Street 🧭 Map
Reception allowed to check-in early (my flight arrived at 6 am and I was at the hotel at 7am), which was great considering the night travel and that it pouring rain outside. Reception clerk was very useful with information on a good spot for breakfast nearby and how to purchase bus / cable car tickets.
Gym is very well equiped.
One of the most reasonably priced hotels on a saturday night, modern, clean and funky. Loved the deep tub in the bathroom. Staff super friendly. Great location.
Great place to stay in the centre of town. Bed was really comfortable. The gym was nice. Entrance was beautiful, very modern chic.
Well, at least it's clean – if you catch that thought upon checking to a hotel, it's a pretty bad sign. The hotel building is old, the room is simple and far from being fantastic, it could use some renovation and better styling. However, the central location of the hotel is convenient for anyone who has any business in downtown San Francisco, and the relatively low room prices offset the downsides...
Wow, I am always so impressed with the quality of service at Hotel G! Ricardo is especially noteworthy; he always has a smile on his face and radiates positivity. He is kind and helpful, which makes booking Hotel G a no-brainer every time I’m in town. Love these guys!
The Hotel is in a awesome location for shopping! Right in the middle of Union Square. The hotel is subpar. The rooms are extremely small . The hotel includes a additional $25 dollars per day for access to the amenities, which are not great by the way. Also, our bathroom smelled of sewage and mildew. The wood plank flooring was practically coming up from the floor as we walked around our room. I would...

Nicely decorated room. Large room in the basement with lounge, tables, tv, kitchen. Not too much noise coming from the street (in the back rooms). Effective hairdryer. Building and room access with a code, no need to carry a card.
Excellent communication from Kasa. Room and common areas were very clean. Location was good for restaurants, Chinatown and other sightseeing. Street noise made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Spacious and comfortable room, great location in front of Union Square. We booked a queen room and got an upgrade to the king room for free!
Very good location and aspects of the service were good. The lobby area, whilst nice and floral, is confusing as to where the check in/out counters are. Enter from the main entrance and you'll realise there are two lines, which over the 4 nights I was there I saw caused lots of frustration with guests. Once at the desk, service was above average.
Rooms are ageing but otherwise clean and well maintained...
What an awesome hotel. Would give it a 10 if I could. THE place to stay in SF… worth every penny. Clean and staff is super friendly. The cafe has an excellent selection and very convenient if you have hote credits to spend.
Right in the centre of town so you expect to pay the big bucks (even if SFO is in a bit of a slump) but to be fair, it really is a great location. The hotel is super spacious it has a good energy; it's busy but in a joyous kinda way. The rooms are good and the staff were able to take care of everything I asked for. Sometimes the service was a little ropey, either slow or staff members appeared confused...
I had an Exceptional Experience thanks to the Excellent Customer Service provided by Elaine at the Front Desk! My room was extraordinary! It had a view of Union Square! It was so perfect that I didn't want to leave. I did though! Beautiful hotel with great service! We were in a junior suite on the union square side and it was absolutely gorgeous. The service was great and room service was fast. The cafe downstairs also serves delicious pasta (much to my surprise!) Definitely will be back. The pricing is comparable to the Hilton but this hotel is much much better in my opinion

Hyatt Regency San Francisco
San Francisco, 5 Embarcadero Center 🧭 Map
Wonderful view if you get lucky. Perfect location in front of the bay.
Large and clean rooms.
Personally, I wouldn't pay the extra for the Regency Club. The view up there was amazing but the food was not on par with what you would expect IMO. For the area, for the price...a solid 4. The room is a little dated but not horrid by any means. Super friendly and helpful staff. Balcony room has a nice patio area for 2. Very pleased with the stay. Would most certainly come back.
Clean quiet inexpensive the staff is polite
Grand Hyatt SF or Hyatt Regency SF? I've stayed in both, and I tend to prefer the Regency. The rooms in the Regency are nice as well (maybe a little bit less good, especially the bathrooms: I had no proper walk-in shower but just a bath-tub with a shower) and the Regency Club is just fine. But the best about the Regency Club here is: You can get outside onto a big balcony and have an awesome view over...
I attended a 3 day technology conference at this hotel. The venue was great with friendly staff and good amenities. The interior was beautiful and the view from the windows was excellent. I think it was mentioned that the food was provided by the hotel and not a catering service, in which case I can say they had tasty and healthy options.
Pretty good hotel. WiFi is decent, specious rooms and close to all the tourist fun.

Room has great view over the Bay and make sure you get a room at 20 something floors to get a beautiful view. Go to 36 floors to see a better view of the costume and Bay. Room is clean except no daily water is provided. The level 2 lounge is great with reasonable price and...
Pretty standard upscale hotel in the heart of San Francisco's business district. Rooms are nicely spacious for the area. It's about what you'd expect of a Hyatt. The fitness center is compact, but not really what I'd call small.
The location is handy for all the offices and convention hotels nearby. It's not quite as good for tourists, but BART is nearby.
Liked it. Very comfy rooms. The bathroom is equipped with the biggest sink I have ever seen. If you have a small child they can take a bath in it.
You can stream Netflix etc to your TV.
Close to Chinatown. McDonald's is next door for breakfast.
Free bottled water from reception.
Nice hotel, with a great morning view. Make sure you not getting a room next to cleaners door, cause they start walking back and forth at around 7am and it becomes really noisy. Mine was 2312 and it was not great. Other than that, good hotel!
Really nice stay! I had a beautiful view of the bay. The room was nice and the bed exceptional.
I was at a meeting in the top floor and the scenery and view of the bay was superb. We were lucky and it was clear, and you could see Angel Island, Berkeley, and Alcatraz.
An excellent hotel located in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Within walking distance to the BART and Muni - and a mere matter of steps from Union Square. Rooms are spacious with sweeping views of the city or bay. The rooms are quiet at night and service is of the highest quality. A highly recommend stay.

It's all about the great location and this hotel has it. The rooms and halls are pretty basic and parking in the ramp was expensive, but being able to leave your car in a spot all day not having to worry about paying several times and trying to find spots to park all over, let alone towing, was worth it.
The fisherman's pier is just a few blocks away. If you like to explore the city on your feet...
I’ve stayed here multiple times . It’s a good place to stay . I’ve taken my children with me on a few occasions and it is very kids friendly . Really nice hotel in a perfect location near the wharf area. Staff is friendly and the rooms are nice. The only issue is having to walk through a cloud of cigarette and cigar smoke when you enter and leave the hotel. They have a huge and lovely sitting area where they allow smoking making it unusable for non-smokers and obnoxious as you enter and leave. Quite surprising for a California hotel which...
Very nice hotel. Walking distance from Pier 39. We had a great room and an awesome experience. Super friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again. Only down side is the parking but that's San Francisco for you. At least the staff gave me some advice for cheaper parking across the street at safway.
I would have given it 5 stars but the parking was an absurd $70 night. That's just a ripoff. Go across the street or down the street in its $30 night. The location is excellent. It's directly across the street from fisherman's wharf. Rooms are very nice. I have seen complaints about the bedding but we thought the bed was very comfortable. There is a fair amount of construction/remodel going on but...
The gentleman that checked me in (Tommy) was excellent. Helpful, friendly and very professional. He took care of me quickly and efficiently even though I had some questions.
Hotel is good, room was surprisingly small. Two beds in that room was very "cozy" but not in a good way. Grounds to be well kept, clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel

I really just popped in for an evening so I can't speak to any of the amenities or services or anything like that, but generally it was a pleasant experience. Hotel was in a great location and a good value. The rooms were clean but no frills. The view was awesome but the windows were so dirty I couldn't see out very well. The elevator always seemed to be busy and I often waited several minutes for a ride. Overall it was a decent stay and I would recommend staying here.
A bit outdated, but very swanky. They have a restaurant and a couple of bars in the lobby, and offer room service. Close to Chinatown (across the street!). Also close to Little Italy and the business district. We had a good size room and bathroom, with an excellent bay view. Thank you Marina for the good service.
Comfortable rooms. Building looks ugly from outside but it has good view. No microwave and fridge available. All tourist spots are reachable . Big bus and other hop on and hop off buses stops here.

Great and fast service. I required some toiletries and they arrived within a few minutes with it.
TV controller wasn't working too well so had difficulty using the TV.
Room was very clean and bed very comfortable during my stay.
Location was very convenient close to work but too many homeless around the block pissing in the middle of the sidewalks.
I was positively surprised by the design and atmosphere of the hotel, the interior decoration is truly amazing. The room was comfortable and big as the hotel rooms in the US usually are. Breakfast was excellent and had a variety of dishes. The gym was large and almost professional quality. I did not find anything to complain about. Service was friendly.
Clean and comfortable room and I had a nice view as well. They can provide you with any amenities that you need, even a yoga mat. The gym is quite big. Nice lobby area with a restaurant. The front desk staff were easy to deal with. Located on a main street in a safe area.
Literally writing this at 1:15am because, while I was thrilled to get a top floor room, it is next to the elevator bank. Consistent banging from the elevator mechanisms (or who knows), punctuated on occasion with slamming sound that was similar to someone hitting the wall (it wasn’t this). It was enough to rouse me from sleep several times, even after putting earplugs in. Otherwise a great room despite...

Beautiful hotel, perfect location. Great staff and clean rooms. I will stay here again next time
So amazing and incredible! Everything from the moment you arrived is so great. The valet is very nice and polite, offering to help with bags. The doorman is fantastic and nice. The reception is very friendly, they welcome you in bottles and give you great insight. The rooms are wonderful and the showers are phenomenal!
We love staying at the Omni, the hotel is very beautiful and the service is top notch. The hotel really makes you feel so special and that they truly care for you and appreciate your business. It is really nice to have a place to park your car (or someone to do it for you) but it's just so expensive so that and Bob's Bar (inside the hotel) prices on drinks are my only complaints.
Great penthouse room, at first I didn't like the tiny dormer windows but they are growing on me. Since my view is of a building across the street large windows aren't necessary anyways. Friendly and knowledgeable staff makes the experience complete!
Very nice hotel in the financial district, good sized gym, complimentary breakfast beverage delivered to your room every morning, room size is better than most hotels I've seen in San Francisco. Bob's on the first floor is very nice and has good prices for a hotel restaurant. To get a car from the hotel to the airport was a flat $55 which isn't too bad on short notice.

We checked late night, got some issue with the shower door, we were immediately moved to a new room. We were upgraded to top floor from where we got nice city view.
Staff were welcoming and helpful...
I have to say the one gentleman at the concierge was very good. He often remembered our names which is an outstanding touch. Rooms were nothing special. Interior is a bit conservative and reminiscent of 80s style hotels
Had a one night stay here while in town for work and it was a wonderful hotel and experience from check in to check out. All the staff were very friendly and professional. The room was spacious and very clean, with nice amenities. Bed was also comfortable. I would recommend this hotel if you are in town for a couple of nights.
The room and bathroom was spacious. The staff were helpful. The rooms were clean daily.
The room was something out of the ordinary. The bathroom area had its own hallway that led to an open foyer with not one but two vanities , huge shower, private toilet and 2 large closets. Well designed no wasted space. Very appealing.
Enjoyed this hotel, the rooms were updated recently. We had the pleasure of staying in a two queen room which had plenty of space! Absolutely amazing! I loved the entire atmosphere! The hotel looks to be built on the 1960s based on the exterior and room design, however, the lobby and rooms are decorated in an eccentric yet classy style. Really liked this hotel. Not the best rooms 8n the world but they are decent and comfy. The whole hotel has a playful feel with games and activities on the ground floor. The beds were super comfortable and the room was large enough for 4 large suitcases. The bathroom had all the...
The hotel and my room were clean and conveniently located. The room was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable. Staff was very polite and helpful, too. My only complaint is their convenience technology, like a mobile key and screen casting from my phone to the TV, didn't work.
