Savannah, 411 West Bay Street 🧭 Map
Very nice hotel right on Bay Street in the historic district. Easy walk to a variety of food, drinks, and shopping. Rooms are well appointed, nice lobby, work area, and breakfast area, and courteous staff. Valet parking is required at$30/day. Must pay for breakfast. NOTE: Rooms facing Bay Street are EXTREMELY noisy due to LOTS of traffic AT ALL HOURS....even on higher floors. Request a room facing...
Pros: the cookie (obvs), the bed (fantastically comfortable), location. Get a room on the corner of the building and you’ll have a balcony. Room 534 is a good choice. What they don’t tell you at check in is how thin the walls are and how prominent the street noise is. They could also tell you that there’s a white noise machine and ear plugs in the room to help you sleep. If you’re into waking up...
Nice. Place. Staff was not very accommodating. St. Patrick's day hotel rules were great for keeping hotel safe but need to be balanced better for guests that are paying to stay. The rules were a little too restrictive and staff did not provide the great service I have come to expect as a Gold Honors member.
Very nice and clean hotel inside. Spacious rooms. Great location in historic downtown Savannah. It has a bistro inside. It is a little pricey if you want to eat there. I chose to enjoy the local eateries. The staff was very polite and helpful. Parking is valet only for 30/nt, so be sure to add that in to your stay. My only negative would be the windows allow a lot of noise in as if they are open, but...
I’m shocked to see this is only a 3 star hotel! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Friendly and professional desk and concierge. Impeccable rooms that are clean, updated, and include little extras like a “white noise sleep machine” and an iHome dock station. The lobby is comfortable and inviting to relax while waiting for rain to pass. It’s a short walk to many attractions and historic downtown sites

Great location in Historic District but showing it's age--a little frayed around the edges. Courteous, efficient staff. Hotel is acceptably clean. Room rates are staggeringly high, out of line with the overall condition of the property; probably driven by location.
Prime location right by the Savannah River and near lots of places to eat and shop. Service was great, rooms were clean and modern. Love the downstairs decor and fireplace. We'll definitely be back!
Love this hotel. If I make it back to Savannah, I will stay here again. Loved the staff. The rooms were clean and updated. It's in walking distance of everything. If you come to Savannah, stay here!
Great location near the boardwalk. Prices were decent but typical of Hilton. Breakfast at these places are never any good and I always recommend getting quality food somewhere else unless you're in a pinch. Try to get a north facing room since you can overlook the Savannah river and see ships pass. Facing south like me yields a less than desirable view of garbage and alleys.

The good: Newly renovated with a very cool new look to the lobby and rooms. Great location and walking distance to everything. The bad: Stayed in the larger room for a night. The air conditioner was literally 12 inches from the bed and blew cold air on us all night. Woke up Everytime it turned on and off. 30 bucks to valet. The doors are super thin so you hear the house keeper all morning knocking...
Very good stay. The hotel is kept super clean. Staff is very accommodating. They have a great breakfast in the morning. The pool is a little small for laps and the gym is a bit on the small side as well. If you Hilton honors they do their best to honor your status but it's hard when they have a full house. The bar is open late enough and they always have fresh water sitting out for guest because of...
Has an amazing view of the city. It's the perfect location for anyone visiting Savannah. You are walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and other fun stops. The staff is very nice and professional. The breakfast in the morning is very good. I highly recommend this place.
My husband and I stayed the night here last night. What a beautiful place! Our room was very sleek and modern and contemporary decor, freshly updated. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. Great heated pool outside in a private courtyard and the hot tub was terrific. We walked to a great jazz place with live music and had the best “date night” that we’ve had in awhile.
Pleasant and helpful staff; clean and well maintained rooms. Great location in Savannah! Definitely recommend!
Great location!! The hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality. They remodeled to modern/rustic style. We had breakfast at the hotel and everything they offer is fresh. Our room was awesome, very spacious, clean and the King Bed was comfortable. Thanks for complete such a nice experience with this trip.

The parking was convenient so I didn't have to take the elevator. The room was nice and big and I like how I was greeted throughout the day on the television.
The Front Desk Representative was Awesome And Very Courteous and Professional. I REALLY ENJOYED MY STAY
Stay was perfect ! Would stay again! Parking garage connected to hotel which you can access your floor from was a huge plus! Good view of the passing cars! Updated gym! Super clean blue pool with good lounge area! Lobby was so nice and pretty! Hallways smelled fresh and were so calming with its dark brown tones! Staff was helpful! Snack options were great! Royce provided better service than any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in both here and abroad! The bottom floor rooms were booked because I arrived at almost midnight. I explained that I'd had recent back surgery so Royce brought the luggage carrier to my my car and loaded up everything. They're under renovation and the elevator wasn't working. Royce carried all my lugage up the stairs and into my room...
Nice lobby. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room is nice and clean and quiet. Plenty of toiletries. Passing through and would reccomend and stay here again.
It was a pretty standard room. Clean, cheap, and felt secure. The AC kicking on kept me up most of the night. Staff were extremely friendly, especially since we were one of the last that managed to secure a room during Irma evacuations.
Beds are extremely comfy. Best rest Ive had away from home, better than some 5 star rooms. I do have to second some other previous guests about door security on back of building (seemed outer doors hard to get to lock) and our hotel room door had to be pushed shut hard to stay latched from inside. We never were concerned about our safety, however, but this does need attention. Hotel staff great though...
Excellent customer service, spotless bathroom and quiet at night. Beds were comfortable, and the location is near a mini mart and Cracker Barrel. For $100 a night, I didn't mind the old carpet. The rooms are contemporary enough. If your only staying for a weekend, I highly recommend this place.

Nice room. Great layout, clean. We had the king studio. Check-in was quick and easy, staff was efficient and pleasant. Unfortunately, breakfast was a bust. Understaffed, food was cold, no silverware or napkins. Sucks when you want to eat and get back on the road. That was the only glitch. Could of been an anomaly. I would definitely give them a second try if we stop in Pooler again.
It was good. Nice room. Nice heating system. Clean. Decent breakfast choices. The reason for 4 stars is primarily because the sheets for the sofa-bed had not been changed, as they were still crumpled in a bag. When we tried to use the room phone to call housekeeping, we realized that the phone didn't work. The sheets were immediately replaced once we stopped at the front desk. I would give 4.5.
Great rooms that are clean and spacious (includes a kitchen and living area) with a reasonable rate. $100 nonrefundable pet fee. If you have pets, they have a lot of room to walk them. The beds are fairly comfortable, but not the best. Breakfast (Greek yogurt, fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, etc.) is included. I think my favorite thing about this hotel was the location--around shopping centers and a...
We arrived late and we had trouble using our key on one door. The service was great, the hotel was clean and well appointed. The room was spacious and nice. The breakfast service included waffles and other warm foods. The hotel is right in the mix of everything but secluded from everything noisy. Near shopping and the outlets.

Room was nice, quiet and clean with comfortable bed. Close to restaurants and shopping. Manager checked us in. He was very friendly and answered all of our questions regarding the area. We will be moving to the area soon, and we will definitely recommend this hotel to others.
When we checked in the man at the counter was great with customer service. The room was clean and the bed was Comfortable. The breakfast was good and my daughter enjoyed the pancakes. We will be back.
Stayed here for a night and I have to say I was impressed rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was good and the place overall seemed pretty well kept. My one not so major issue is there was a lot of bugs in the pool but it wasn't that bad to swim in. Overall I would recommend this Inn.
STAY WITH CONFIDENCE!!!! I must say i was skeptical at first then i read the reviews and it had the best rating out of most hotels. So i booked my 3 night stay. Opening the door to the room i understood the reason it was ranked so high. The room was clean comfortable exactly what you want to receive as a no frills accommodation to sleep, shower and do your business out in Savanah. Will definitely...
The staff up front were great. Especially the lady at the front desk. The breakfast was so good! The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Would definitely recommend!
Best Western Central is the nicest low-mid-range hotel! It has been recently painted inside and out. All new furnishings, totally clean. Great place to stay for the rate. Nice people too! We felt very comfortable there. It is close to all that you want to see and do in Savannah.

1 night stay. The room was good could use some outlets by the bed, first world problems. Breakfast was very good. Only issue was road noise, big thud ever so often. Digi card is a plus. Join their awards program it's good.
A nice place. Breakfast is included and had a good variety to choose from. Easy to get to and lots of parking. The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. My room wasn't cramped. Air conditioning worked well (we are on the Georgia coast, a/c is a necessity.) Lots of plugs and USB charging spots in the room (on the desk & by the bed) to charge my multiple devices, phones and camera.
Stayed one night on return trip from Florida. Besides a little snafu at check-in the hotel was great. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, acceptable complementary breakfast and comfy beds. No issues recommending this hotel but note there are a lot of hotels in the area right off the highway.
This was a fine little hotel in a very convenient location. The front desk was friendly and efficient. The bathroom in our room had a light that was blinking and they came and replaced it immediately. The bed was firm, but the pillows flat. Air worked great. Nice sized bathroom/shower, soft towels. The free breakfast was decent, with omelets, oatmeal, fresh fruit and the usual assortment of breads...
Had to stay here due to delayed flight, staff was very helpful and fast in getting me a room. Receptionist very kind. Room very nice and clean.
Hotel lobby area is very nicely decorated and welcoming. Front desk staff very helpful in getting food recommendations and directions to a drug store. Room was very comfortable and breakfast had a number of great choices. Congrats to the management!

We didn't have breakfast there. Lovely and spacious room - stayed in a cottage. It was great!! Staff was so friendly and helpful and it was a really pretty setting.
I recently stayed at the Residence Inn in downtown Savannah. Due to snow and ice my one night stay became a three nights. The staff could not have been more accommodating! Clearing sidewalks, windshields, etc. My room was wonderful. Extremely comfortable bed! Even with the weather easy access to historic downtown. Will be back. Highly recommend this hotel!
I never post reviews but this place deserves it. Unfortunately, we got stuck in Savannah because of an unexpected winter storm and I called several hotels in the downtown area and was displeased with how rude and unaccommodating most of them were about letting us check in a little early to get out of the weather. Our guess is it's the off season in a tourist town so people in customer service are bored...
Great place. Walking distance to town. Right up the street from tour busses &welcome center. Great rooms, free street parking, & awesome breakfast. Wish i remembered the name of our bfast crew. She was friendly & funny. Would def visit again!
I can’t express what a lovely crew of people work at this gem. It’s a trendy well kept beautiful hotel but the people were amazing. The breakfast spread was amaze to boot! This is a must stay.
What can I say but blown away by how great my stay was while I was here for work. We work colleague and I received a very friendly welcome when we arrived along with appetizers & drinks 6:00-7:30. The staff was absolutely wonderful! They made our stay feel like home. We only stayed on night while passing through, but we genuinely enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and had a full size refrigerator and more than enough room for the two of us. The continental breakfast was better than most are.
The location is perfect, parking was great. The hotel room had everything we needed. The mini kitchen was great and helped in preparing meals, which was not many because we had breakfast and dinner provided our when trip. Dinner is m-w only. Staff was great and very accommodating. So nice to be so close to things to do and walking g distance to everything historic. We really enjoyed ourselves in Savanna...
Location was great. Cross the street and you are on River street! The hotel itself was nice as well as the staff. Their free breakfast is one of the better ones I've had at a hotel. A couple of points for improvement: there must have been a fraternity/sorority event in the area that had a lot of the college students staying in the hotel...which is not a problem. The problem is when they are allowed...
We were pleasantly impressed by this hotel. We loved the old building and didn't mind the smaller rooms. It has charm and character. There was a reception with food and wine, it might have been on a Friday night or Saturday. The lobby area is attractive and breakfast was very good.
Our stay here was wonderful! It is right across the street from River Street and close to everything you could ask for in downtown Savannah. The only complaint I have is the elevator here is INCREDIBLY slow. You may want to take the stairs.
We've been coming here for the past 5 years. Always had a great experience. Updated rooms look terrific. Afternoon social with free beer and wine is an easy way to relax after seeing the town. Close to River St and short walks to historic attractions make this hotel a no brainer for your next stay in Savannah.

It was fine, for a small Hotel. Limited Staff . No restaurant. Good served in the am. Place was clean. Had indoor pool and exercise equipment.
We arrived at the hotel around 10pm on a Thursday for a one night stay and our room was smokey smelling. The staff did a great job getting us moved to a more satisfactory room without charging us the upgrade to a suite (since there were no other double queen bed rooms left.) I will stay here again.
It was the cheapest of the airport hotels clustered at the location (tied with the Comfort Inn). The room was a bit stuffy, and the alarm clock was broken, but otherwise it was exactly what you would expect from any hotel in this class. The breakfast was disappointing. Why don't hotels advertise their breakfast menus? Because then people would know not to stay here. Also be aware that this hotel...
The service was great, and the place was fairly clean. However the pool area needed work and was a little grubby. Overall great place if you don't want to go swimming
First time staying here. Great place. With small kids I think my favorite part was the controls for the A/C unit were out of hands touch. Breakfast was excellent!!! Bacon, eggs and real potatoes with a lot of other choices.
We had a wonderful stay, but mystery stains on bathroom wall. Excellent breakfast, better than most. Very helpful breakfast attendants . Kind front desk attendants.

Beautiful Lobby nice presentation but I had a bad experience, My wife, kids and I checked in at 9 p.m., its 10:28 and we're still trying to resolve issues in the room. The hotel is starting to show it's age. Little things like thread bare towels, dated fixtures, a lack of power outlets. Things I have come to expect in a newer hotel. The staff is great, always a smile and a happy good morning for everyone. The one place that has fallen beyond all others is the selection on the dinner menu. The front desk staff was great, check-in was effortless. The front desk personnel told me everything I needed to know. The breakfast area was clean, I appreciate the extra covid safety steps taken with the food. Thank you for having military parking, glad to see my service honored. I appreciate the 12-noon checkout.
We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the airport and had a free shuttle which was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast included in the room rate was very good.
Nicely renovated. Close to the exit off I-95. A typical breakfast provided. Staff were very nice. Used a coupon from one of the travel books we picked up at the GA Reststop. Brought the rate down considerably.
Excellent service. Excellent cleanliness in public areas. Not the best room cleanliness. Used soap bars in my shower. Room smelled musty.
Second time me and my wife have stayed in this particular location. Both times the staff were extremely pleasant and the rooms were clean. The only small nitpick I have is it smelled like someone poured cologne at the entrance of our room. Not the hotels fault probably but it was an interesting smell to have greet you as you enter the door.

Great stay at the Best Western in Savannah. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was super convenient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only minor downside was the company wandering around outside. Overall a solid choice for the price.
Hotel room was clean, tidy and well kept. Location and price were spot on as you are fairly central to riverfront and all the action but not at the high cost of other places. Free breakfast was very good and most hotels don’t offer this which is a huge plus for a family of 4.
Excellent location, extensive hot breakfast, parking at the door. Close to coffee shops, restaurants and lovely walks.
This is a good if not great Hotel. It is located near the historic district for a nice price. The rooms are dated and the walls then. Like most of Savannah expect to pay extra for on-site parking. It's a good economy choice if you want to see the historic district on the cheap.
Best Western Savannah Historic District is probably the best located hotel we've ever stayed in - just across the street from Savannah's famous River Street, we were able to walk a short distance to countless other Savannah attractions. Basic hotel good for a one night stay while you are on the road to some place better. Room was clean but had a wierd odor. Towels were fluffy and fresh. Sheets were white but not crisp cotton. No bedspread (which is a good thing). Breakfast was sub par -- thank goodness for the fresh whole fruit.
Great place to stop off of I-95. Located in an area full of other hotels and restaurants outside Savannah airport. This TownPlace has one of the best breakfasts I have ever had as a free hotel breakfast. Hotel is very clean and comfortable.
Staff friendly, room clean, good breakfast, we stayed one night with a small dog. It met all our expectations.

Every staffing person we interacted with were sweet/kind so bonus points there. The hotel itself, needs a little TLC though. The pictures v. The actual room will leave you slightly disappointed. Rooms were clean but had a smell to them. Could hear people in other rooms as well the guy snoring in the other room all night. Will not stay again.
The Front Desk staff were all very pleasant especially with the hotel being fully booked for the 3 days we were there. They offer a free contiental breakfast, the waffles were amazing! The room and sheets were clean. It's a great hotel if you do not need all the frills of more expensive hotels. We'll stay again.
I've read so many negative reviews about this hotel and I can't understand why?? I think people want everything for nothing. My room was clean, the shower was great, the microwave made my food hot, the fridge kept my drinks cold and I had the best nights sleep in a very comfortable bed in quite awhile. Keep up the great work!!!
First let me say the good. The front desk people were great. The room was clean and bed and pillows comfortable. The not so good was the breakfast and the breakfast area. It was not so clean. Small and selection lacking for money we paid. The sausage was floating in grease. Hard time finding a clean table. Only apples for fruit. Just not impressed. I just wouldn't stay again for the price
