A lovely hotel with staff that embody the concept of hospitality - even in times of uncertainty and stress. During my stay, Cristal and Jenn went out of their way to ensure guest comfort
I’m sure it is a style choice to give a beach vibe but I didn’t spend more than 20 mins in the pool and I can’t imagine allowing children to swim in it without worry of them enduring the same
Rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. Food at both the cafe and restaurant is delicious and fresh. My only disappointment was the pool
While there is a free ferry to get downtown, which is a nice perk, it can be inconvenient at times. We found that taking an Uber to downtown took about 30 minutes
However, if you plan to spend a lot of time downtown during the ferry’s off hours, you might want to consider other options
Although beautiful and clean, it has textured sides and bottom that literally cut my tender feet and legs

Big shout out to James, who helped me w/my luggage and getting checked into my room. he even was kind enough to fill up my ice bucket!
Only issue was we had a hard time opening and closing the sliding door. as just about everything was in walking distance
My balcony room overlooking the river was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the cargo ships coming and going from the port. Housekeeping employees were very nice and attentive
The hotel room air vents had dust on them and needed cleaned especially the one above the shower. The hotel/rooms were very dated. Overall, the hotel was good, but watch out for their sneaky charges
It is only getting 3 stars because when I booked the room it said my total would be $242, but when I looked at the charges it said $282 plus another $12 charge
He never once mentioned that it was $40 to park, which is a ridiculous price!!! The $12 fee was for internet, which was NEVER made known

None of the cleaning issues some other guests seem to have encountered. They have a note that says they clean towels every other night to save water unless you request
It was an absolutely beautiful hotel with pleasantly kind staff that made the extra effort to make you feel comfortable. The room I was in had a stunning view that I won't soon forget
This location is incredible for visiting Savannah. The hotel itself is a very typical Regency - business class and clearly easily enjoyed by large groups and conferences as all of those facilities are available
Great experience! Prime location for Savannah. Great property, clean rooms, and we had a very nice view. Staff was very helpful upon check in. I would recommend this hotel and definitely come back again!
) Walk to most anything you could need! Off site parking isn't managed by the hotel but it is close and will save you some money. Staff throughout was friendly and helpful
My fiance had the best experience working with Leah to block off a portion of the covered porch for our post-proposal family gathering only 1 day in advance

Very nice rooms at a reasonable price for the area. Love the suite layout of the rooms and the decor which includes hardwood floors, premium vanities, sliding barn door, and very luxurious shower
The switches are kind of awkward because the light for the bathroom is on the same switchboard as the mirror, which is not in the bathroom. A plug for a phone charger is easily accessible on the bedside table
The amenities were nice and the location was great. The room was quite narrow which made it a little difficult to walk through quickly. seemed high but it seemed to be par for Savannah
Did have a plumbing issue in room adjacent but they were quick with service. They also made it right for the inconvenience. Very convenient to everything on River Street & The City Market
The room is well-designed and snug if not a little on the small side. The mirror has it's lighting in it's frame, which is neat, and the sink is nice and big and the temperature is easily controllable
No continental breakfast or anything. Some little muffins or something would've been nice. I don't know that I'd stay again; I'd probably stay farther away and walk for less money

Great location, walking to anywhere. You do not need the $45 per day valet because large parking garage is block away from building. Nice food and drink inside, plus walking distance from restaurants and bars
Wonderful hotel in the heart of the historic district. DeSoto is a Savannah fixture. It has recently been renovated. Staff is excellent. New restaurant too, and they added outdoor dining.
Great hotel with a wonderful staff. We went for our 17th anniversary and we're upgraded to a suite l. We were also given a drink voucher for the Proof and Provision hotel bar
She was friendly, professional, gave me suggestions for parking my car that wouldn’t be overly expensive, helped me to relocate to another fabulous room when my neighbors’ dogs were barking uncontrollably, she even sent me multiple texts checking in… Alexis is 5 star quality in customer service & the reason I will stay at the DeSoto the next time I come to Savannah… though I will never valet my car
I arrived early & wanted to park my car, but he said he couldn’t drive a stick shift, & I couldn’t park my car myself or check it in early… for $45/night?! He wouldn’t even let me leave my car in the valet area to check in
We have never stayed as of sleeping at the hotel. Each time we visited, it was for business or training. We have enjoyed the atmosphere and food on those times. The hotel is beautiful and luxurious

BEST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Beautiful place with plenty of work space and a great pool/fire pit/courtyard play area. Loved the rooftop bar and restaurant
Many places try to create a luxurious design using cheap materials and craftsmanship, but not The Alida. From the moment you walk into the lobby, the design, quality of workmanship and materials used are on full display
We enjoyed the beautiful décor and tremendous service. From the Minute we Walked in, we felt right at home. It is conveniently located at the River Walk. They helped us book a tour and gave insight on where to go
The rooms are gorgeous with a simple yet elegant design, the bedding materials, floors and bathroom finishes are top notch. We have stayed in many hotel rooms in this price range and this is by far the nicest
Everything was very clean and the room was beautiful! Little touches like the refill station with your own personal Alida water bottle and the daily happy hour in the lobby were awesome
Very well maintained! The lobby smelled incredible. The hotel staff was so friendly! Maurice may be one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life

Super comfortable and elegantly decorated room Very comfortable bed Ambience and decor of hotel Helpful and friendly staff Roof top pool and bar
I have to say, I have never stayed at anything like this! 10 stars all day long! There is one asset that makes this place stand out even more and that is my Valet POPS! YOU SHOULD CLONE HIM! He took stellar care of me! Thank you POPS for making my stay so AMAZING! I WILL BE BACK BECAUSE OF YOU!
concierge services, attention to detail, complimentary champagne and coffee all day). The location is convenient so as to make all of downtown Savannah walkable without being in the more s*!t showy party zone
The staff was friendly and the guests all seemed to enjoy themselves tremendously. The hotel suites were a really nice setting for pre-wedding festivities, and were also great for photos
The outdoor area overlooking Savannah is great for socializing and added an exciting element to the wedding. Lots of really nice areas inside and out for photos too

This hotel is cute and charming. The outdoor space and pool were fantastic and the lobby was a great place to socialize with others. The room was clean and adequate
Excellent room porch overlooking the pool was perfect for afternoon wine and morning coffee. Loved the shower / tub set up. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was gracious.
I really liked the service from all the staff. The yard is just as beautiful as in the photos. It is pet friendly which was amazing for me and my puppy. This is a clean and comfortable hotel
The rooms are small but nice and clean. The courtyard, decor and lobby are very well designed, clean and are the best places to relax. The location is on the main street where the tourists are, but all the way to the end
My friends and I had a fantastic weekend at the Kimpton Brice! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay! The wine happy hour was an awesome feature (try their signature Brice Tea cocktail too!)! The beds were so comfortable and the four of us loved our suite! It was the perfect hotel for a girl's weekend, but I also plan on taking my family back!
Recently got back from my stay at the Kimpton and I will definitely stay here again, hotel room was clean and modern, staff is amazing and always greet us when we were passing through the lobby, they made my dog Jersey feel very welcomed

Parking is valet only for 30/nt, so be sure to add that in to your stay. My only negative would be the windows allow a lot of noise in as if they are open, but they provide earplugs and a sound machine for sleeping ?
Impeccable rooms that are clean, updated, and include little extras like a “white noise sleep machine” and an iHome dock station. The lobby is comfortable and inviting to relax while waiting for rain to pass
I’m shocked to see this is only a 3 star hotel! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Friendly and professional desk and concierge
It’s a short walk to many attractions and historic downtown sites!
What they don’t tell you at check in is how thin the walls are and how prominent the street noise is. They could also tell you that there’s a white noise machine and ear plugs in the room to help you sleep
Very nice and clean hotel inside. Great location in historic downtown Savannah. It is a little pricey if you want to eat there. I chose to enjoy the local eateries. The staff was very polite and helpful

Great location near the boardwalk. Prices were decent but typical of Hilton. Breakfast at these places are never any good and I always recommend getting quality food somewhere else unless you're in a pinch
Prime location right by the Savannah River and near lots of places to eat and shop. Service was great, rooms were clean and modern. Love the downstairs decor and fireplace. We'll definitely be back!
Love this hotel. If I make it back to Savannah, I will stay here again. Loved the staff. The rooms were clean and updated. It's in walking distance of everything. If you come to Savannah, stay here!
Try to get a north facing room since you can overlook the Savannah river and see ships pass. Facing south like me yields a less than desirable view of garbage and alleys
Great location in Historic District but showing it's age--a little frayed around the edges. Room rates are staggeringly high, out of line with the overall condition of the property; probably driven by location

All Kessler's are awesome and this one is no different. After more than one stay I will add that a more accessible bellman when driving up is suggested. Always at least 3 valets but they don't do luggage to the room
We shared a large and wonderful appetizer of smoked salmon on crustini, followed by a beautiful mixed green salad with poached pears and a French-cut Chicken Breast, as well as Blue Cheese Bacon Burgers
Historically charming atmosphere with some contemporary twists; great service and delicious food. We brought my mother-in-law here for Sunday Brunch and were seated on the cheerful enclosed porch
Jaw dropping beautiful and elegant. Stopped to enjoy a drink and munchies while touring Savannah. A must return.
Our server was excellent - very knowledgeable, friendly, yet professional

The hotel is kept super clean. They have a great breakfast in the morning. The pool is a little small for laps and the gym is a bit on the small side as well
Great heated pool outside in a private courtyard and the hot tub was terrific. We walked to a great jazz place with live music and had the best “date night” that we’ve had in awhile
Has an amazing view of the city. It's the perfect location for anyone visiting Savannah. You are walking distance from many shops, restaurants, and other fun stops. The staff is very nice and professional
My husband and I stayed the night here last night. What a beautiful place! Our room was very sleek and modern and contemporary decor, freshly updated. Staff was super friendly and very helpful
Perfect place to stay. Super nice staff right down to the valet parking guys and super clean rooms. Close to everything. Breakfast was perfect. Highly recommend staying a night or two.

Stay was perfect ! Would stay again! Parking garage connected to hotel which you can access your floor from was a huge plus! Good view of the passing cars! Updated gym! Super clean blue pool with good lounge area! Lobby was so nice and pretty! Hallways smelled fresh and were so calming with its dark brown tones! Staff was helpful! Snack options were great! Bathroom spacious, bed spacious
room was very clean! Elevators worked fast! Just a pretty pretty hotel! Will be back! Hope I have many more great experiences at this! We didn’t even wanna leave honestly ugh! Lady at the front with long braid-like hair today at July 17th around 11:00 a

Clean, comfortable beds and pillows, great showers and good furniture in the rooms. Walked everywhere from the hotel room. Complimentary Managers Happy Hour between 5-7 is a must! Free food and booze
Yes Yes Yes! This place was such an amazing find that I was so excited when I walked in and saw how beautiful everything was. The rooms are so clean, even the towels are spotless
All the staff are very pleasant and helpful. There's even an hour of free cocktails! Was happy to see kosher beer options for this. If you're lucky, you'll ask Tod to help you check in
The charming rooms are decorated with period pieces. Riverfront location and close to everything. Ricky Ricardo (yes real name) was personable and helpful and those at the front desk were amazing
Location is perfect if you want to be on the river. Happy hour (true happy hour where the liquor is free) is awesome! Customer service: I forgot my Bluetooth speaker in the room on accident
The hotel is beautiful and our king room has a great view of the river. We had some issues with check-in, but the general manager reached out to us to sort things out

His service didn't stop there! His shift was over at 7am so he took the time to come to my room for a personal wake up knock no less than 3 times and at 7am he loaded up all my things again and put them in my car for me, checked me out so that I wouldn't have to go to the desk and gave me some water for my road trip
I explained that I'd had recent back surgery so Royce brought the luggage carrier to my my car and loaded up everything. They're under renovation and the elevator wasn't working
Royce provided better service than any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in both here and abroad! The bottom floor rooms were booked because I arrived at almost midnight
He treated with the kindness, respect one would expect from a son in the military
Royce carried all my lugage up the stairs and into my room
We never were concerned about our safety, however, but this does need attention. Hotel staff great though and very friendly. Breakfast, while limited, was always very tasty! Loved the Belgian waffle makers!

I would definitely give them a second try if we stop in Pooler again
Breakfast (Greek yogurt, fruit, cereal, eggs, sausage, etc. I think my favorite thing about this hotel was the location--around shopping centers and a bunch of places to eat, which makes for an easy and convenient stop
We arrived late and we had trouble using our key on one door. The service was great, the hotel was clean and well appointed. The room was spacious and nice. The breakfast service included waffles and other warm foods
Check-in was quick and easy, staff was efficient and pleasant. Unfortunately, breakfast was a bust. Understaffed, food was cold, no silverware or napkins. Sucks when you want to eat and get back on the road
Great rooms that are clean and spacious (includes a kitchen and living area) with a reasonable rate. If you have pets, they have a lot of room to walk them. The beds are fairly comfortable, but not the best
When we tried to use the room phone to call housekeeping, we realized that the phone didn't work. The sheets were immediately replaced once we stopped at the front desk

STAY WITH CONFIDENCE!!!! I must say i was skeptical at first then i read the reviews and it had the best rating out of most hotels. Opening the door to the room i understood the reason it was ranked so high
When we checked in the man at the counter was great with customer service. The room was clean and the bed was Comfortable. The breakfast was good and my daughter enjoyed the pancakes. We will be back.
The room was clean comfortable exactly what you want to receive as a no frills accommodation to sleep, shower and do your business out in Savanah. Will definitely stay here again when i return
The staff up front were great. Especially the lady at the front desk. The breakfast was so good! The room was clean and the bed was super comfy. Would definitely recommend!
Best Western Central is the nicest low-mid-range hotel! It has been recently painted inside and out. All new furnishings, totally clean. Great place to stay for the rate. Nice people too! We felt very comfortable there

View from the roof/pool was lovely but it doesn't open until 9 so we couldn't catch the sun rise from the roof. But it's a 5 min walk to the river so we shot over there instead. Microwave and mini fridge in the room
Excellent hotel in a great area near the water in Savannah. Rooms were clean, lobby and lounge area is very nice and complimentary breakfast was good. Rooftop gym and pool were great.
Excellent location for shopping and site seeing. Parking was either $22 for valet or $5/day for self parking next door. Breakfast was excellent including pancakes, omelettes and an assortment of breads, cereals and fruit
Came up from South Florida for Thanksgiving weekend. Hotel was perfectly situated in the heart of the Historic District of Savannah
We were able to walk to River Street, hop on and off trolley right across from hotel, and had Pink House restaurant a short walk around the block. Breakfast was a convenient way to get an early start each day

Great rooms, very fancy. Loved the pool and hot tub. The staff was great and very helpful. Great because there's a restaurant here, so no need to leave after arriving for the night. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
We have loved the friendly service, welcoming staff, and fantastic amenities; a lovely pool, hot tub, and gym
room was spacious and pull out couch was a bonus room was device by wall from sleeping and living area. Hot tub was small no more that 4 could be in it. Pool also small but both are indoors and heated
We would highly recommend the Double Tree, however, our only complaint is there isn't a continental breakfast, but we can look past that with all of the other perks. free, warm chocolate chip cookie at check-in anyone?
From the lobby to the rooms everything felt new, which to me also feels clean. Pretty cool that the TV inputs were in the wall next to the tv and not behind it. Breakfast in the morning was good, made to order eggs
