Upscale hotel built in an old power plant building. Lots of art in the lobby. Our room was stylish, clean and spacious. Friendly and helpful front desk. Good breakfast choices at the Turbine cafeteria.

Don't look at the price! Once you arrive, you will notice that you didn't pay enough. Every day we discovered something new. They have so many live performances (music, pianists, singing, etc.). The hotel is a museum with a rich history. The view is unmatched. Moreover, they maintained social distancing/face mask guidelines. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed in November 2020 and were pleasantly surprised that the lobby was like a natural history museum. The amethyst geodes were some of the largest I have seen. I am impressed by the elegant tribute to the dirt of our history. From the massive clear quartz at the entrance to the metal dinosaur skeleton hovering above, you will not feel disappointed. We only stayed one night but had a very pleasant experience. Everything was very clean and the room was beautiful! The staff at this hotel went above and beyond for us during our stay. Free room upgrade to riverview room. And everyone was professional and pleasant with each interaction. The hotel was in a very convenient location and within walking distance to the downtown area. It is only getting 3 stars because when I booked the room it said my total would be $242, but when I looked at the charges it said $282 plus another $12 charge. My balcony room overlooking the river was wonderful. I particularly enjoyed seeing the cargo ships coming and going from the port. Housekeeping employees were very nice and attentive. This hotel is at a great location on the river. Very clean. The bar area is nice and the shrimp tacos were delicious! The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the rooms feel a little old. I wish I could've gotten the heads up that the walls are completely sound proof and that I'd be next to a day spa that blasts music. Listening to people go on about skin care products wasn't exactly how I pictured my vacation. The hotel itself was neat and the staff was polite.

Clean, comfortable beds and pillows, great showers and good furniture in the rooms. Best location. Walked everywhere from the hotel room. Complimentary Managers Happy Hour between 5-7 is a must! Location is perfect if you want to be on the river. Beautiful/spacious rooms. Happy hour (true happy hour where the liquor is free) is awesome! Customer service: I forgot my Bluetooth speaker in the room on accident. After a few phone calls to the hotel, I got the right person and they mailed my speaker back to me!!! It exceeded our expectations. The charming rooms are decorated with period pieces. Riverfront location and close to everything. Ricky Ricardo (yes real name) was personable and helpful and those at the front desk were amazing. Coming back to Savannah, we plan to stay at the River Street Inn! Highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful and our king room has a great view of the river. We had some issues with check-in, but the general manager reached out to us to sort things out. We will stay here again with the confidence that our concerns have been heard and resolved. Highly recommend this historic hotel for its beauty and location.

Friendly and helpful staff let me check in early. Nice, modern hotel located near shops, historic sites and a about 15 minutes' walk to downtown. Comfortable, large room with large TV, fridge etc. There is a free breakfast in the morning that was simple but good. Parking is by valet in a multi-story car park across the street, which was very efficient, but you do have to pay.

A modern hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff, great gentlemen at the valet. A concierge is available during the day in the lobby for any questions you may have. Easy walk to any of the historic landmarks, restaurants. Savannah Coffee is close by for a fantastic cup in the morning. Got the impression that perhaps the staff are new at running the place, but I'd definitely return.

This is my second time staying at the B Historic hotel in Savannah. I love the location, decor, and the staff. Parking is a bit of an issue, but parking is always an issue in Savannah. This hotel is located right next to the Liberty St parking garage, so if you want to save a couple bucks you can self park in the city garage and avoid the valet. Basic hotel good for a one night stay while you are on the road to some place better. Room was clean but had a wierd odor. Towels were fluffy and fresh. Sheets were white but not crisp cotton. No bedspread (which is a good thing). Breakfast was sub par -- thank goodness for the fresh whole fruit.

Great place to stop off of I-95. Located in an area full of other hotels and restaurants outside Savannah airport. This TownPlace has one of the best breakfasts I have ever had as a free hotel breakfast. Hotel is very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful architecture and clean. Modern decor and Central location to anything and everything in Savannah. Great personnel that treat you with kindness and help with any needs. Only downfall was the parking deck charges $10/day or $22/day valet. If you leave the garage and come back in the same day you get charged for each entry. That's an outcry for a hotel guest!

It wasn't cheap. However it was very clean and the staff was incredibly friendly. It must be a very new hotel. It smelled wonderful and they have excellent products. Clean and nice hotel. Minutes from the airport with shuttle service with a nice lake view in back. Rooms are small but efficient everything is in lobby coffee hot water microwave etc. Gym is great few treadmill and up to 50lb dumbbells with some cross training equipment and TV with workouts. This was my first time staying at the Perry Lane Hotel in my hometown of Savannah, Georgia. I was in town for a home stay for my good friend's mom. This location is incredible for visiting Savannah. The hotel itself is a very typical Regency - business class and clearly easily enjoyed by large groups and conferences as all of those facilities are available. The amenities were nice and the location was great. The room was quite narrow which made it a little difficult to walk through quickly. The parking at $30 per night. seemed high but it seemed to be par for Savannah. No continental breakfast or anything. Some little muffins or something would've been nice. Great hotel with a wonderful staff. We went for our 17th anniversary and we're upgraded to a suite l. We were also given a drink voucher for the Proof and Provision hotel bar. The bartender was fantastic and made some great drinks! Being right in the middle of downtown Savannah made our informal restaurant tour very easy and fun. We will definitely be back.

You have a wonderful property here, but there are a few areas that could significantly enhance the overall experience. The hotel could benefit from renovations, as the wear and tear are noticeable. Good morning g to the manager. We have never stayed as of sleeping at the hotel. Each time we visited, it was for business or training. We have enjoyed the atmosphere and food on those times. The absolute best staff of any where I've ever been and the Ballastone is more than 5 star. I would recommend the China Tade suite it's the bomb. The suite is excellent, very well appointed and comfortable. Located in the heart of the Historic District and about a block from the Lucas Theater. Parking garage is a block away but you can offload your luggage first, so it's a minor inconvenience... Well worth it!

Great stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was great and they let us check in 2 hours early. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star rating was the lack of covered seating at the rooftop bar. It was raining pretty hard, so the only dry seats available were the 15 around the bar itself.

Pros: the cookie (obvs), the bed (fantastically comfortable), location. Get a room on the corner of the building and you’ll have a balcony. Room 534 is a good choice. What they don’t tell you at check in is how thin the walls are and how prominent the street noise is. Nice. Place. Staff was not very accommodating. St. Patrick's day hotel rules were great for keeping hotel safe but need to be balanced better for guests that are paying to stay. The rules were a little too restrictive and staff did not provide the great service I have come to expect as a Gold Honors member.

Great location near the boardwalk. Prices were decent but typical of Hilton. Breakfast at these places are never any good and I always recommend getting quality food somewhere else unless you're in a pinch. Try to get a north facing room since you can overlook the Savannah river and see ships pass. Facing south like me yields a less than desirable view of garbage and alleys.

Nice room. Great layout, clean. We had the king studio. Check-in was quick and easy, staff was efficient and pleasant. Unfortunately, breakfast was a bust. Understaffed, food was cold, no silverware or napkins. Sucks when you want to eat and get back on the road. That was the only glitch. Could of been an anomaly. I would definitely give them a second try if we stop in Pooler again.

The reason for 4 stars is primarily because the sheets for the sofa-bed had not been changed, as they were still crumpled in a bag. When we tried to use the room phone to call housekeeping, we realized that the phone didn't work. The sheets were immediately replaced once we stopped at the front desk. I would give 4.5.

We arrived late and we had trouble using our key on one door. The service was great, the hotel was clean and well appointed. The room was spacious and nice. My husband and I stayed the night here last night. What a beautiful place! Our room was very sleek and modern and contemporary decor, freshly updated. Staff was super friendly and very helpful. The best customer service I have ever had at any hotel. I would recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Savannah. This is the second time I have come to Savannah and stayed at the Hamilton Turner Inn and I was never disappointed in the least. This bed-and-breakfast far exceeds all expectation.
