Fantastic location close to Pike Place Markey
The rooftop was smaller than expected and prices were higher than they probably should’ve been but all around great hotel stay. Super convenient location with Pike Place literally around the corner

Great place
Blocks away from waterfront. Roof top has a great view. Room was a bit smaller than average but not an issue. Location makes up for it!

Conveniently located a half a block away from Pike Place Market, within walking distance of Seattle’s waterfront, easy access to the monorail and 25 minute walk to the Space Needle or to Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park it cannot get better than this location, pet friendly facilities, rooms are always fresh smelling and ultra clean

We had a fantastic stay at The State. We liked the decor and the Ben Paris restaurant was phenomenal. The staff was excellent and gave us a great recommendation for an authentic Italian dinner. Being so close to Pike’s Place Market is a bonus. We will definitely be back to stay at The State Hotel.

The location is really good

How can I describe it? I stayed for three nights and upgraded to a water view room. I was immediately stunned by the beauty of Seattle. Everything exceeded my expectations. I look forward to coming back on my next trip.

The location of the hotel is really great. Pike Place Market is right outside the door and Target is opposite. It's very convenient for shopping. The room facilities are good and hygienic. The only thing is that the view on the second floor is really... just a wall... and the pigeons have been cooing at night, so I can't sleep well.

I’m one of those people who is very picky with hotels. I normally will only book a premium Hilton or Marriott, but when exploring hotels I saw The State Hotel and while it wasn’t a chain it looked very premium. I was not disappointed. The hotel is very nice. It’s very modern and the staff very friendly. They have a snack cart that’s free and has a great variety that most hotels would normally charge you for. They always have fresh fruit as well, which was very nice. The room is a smaller room than most, but really it’s the perfect and has everything you’d need. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the sheets are among the softest I’ve had even better than the big chains. The bathroom is very modern and clean, loved the shampoo/conditioner/soap brand it felt like a high end brand. Overall very very impressed and can’t say it enough. The rooftop overlook is beautiful and lots of sitting to just take in the outdoors. I went to every floor and enjoyed the unique wallpaper outside the elevators, so unique! Parking is off site but they have a deal rate with the local garages, I even went out late at night and felt very safe and the hotel locks at night and requires a keycard for entry.

Book this hotel! You won’t regret it!!
