University Inn

This hotel fit all of our needs. Staff greeted us nicely at check in. They were tried to meet all of our requests if it was feasible for them. They have a continental breakfast with fruit, oatmeal, donuts, muffins, granola bars, coffee and water. The rooms were clean and comfortable. They had black out shades and cold AC! There were a few other amenities that I liked ... blow dryer, make up wipes, refrigerator, microwave, cups, coffee/cream/sugar, plenty of usb ports for charging your phone. AND, there are e-chargers for your car! We didn't go to the pool but it seemed nice. The owner is very hands on and always available. The price was well worth it! I will definitely stay here again!

It was super clean, with modern decor, and no carpet which is always a plus if you have allergies. There were a lot of nice interesting restaurants around, including this Ethiopian one called Zemam's Too. Also can't beat the free parking, would highly recommend.

It may not look too good from outside but Tesla and J1772 charger, nice rooms once inside.. The owner is clearly putting in the effort to have a nice place.

Awesome stay! The rooms were clean and well-equipped. There was a lot of thought and care put into the room. Plus it was a decent price - I can’t recommend enough!

I liked the refillable dispensers of soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. It’s less wasteful and easier to use.

The service service is friendly and accommodating. Our bathtub didn’t have a plug, but the front desk provided one.

The place was very cute inside and out. Very funky vibe, and nicely priced. The room did get hot at night and we made the mistake of not turning on the cooling unit in the room. The water plumbing in the downstairs room is incredibly loud and woke me up several times throughout the night. The sink in our room didn't drain well so my face wash ended up coating the whole thing. It had a small fridge and a microwave, and even electric car charging out front which was really cool. It was a good stay and we'd come back.

Great location. 'Roomy' room, nice decor, comfy beds. Loved it for it's uniqueness, and comfort.

The University Inn is close to the University, downtown, and just about any amenity one could need. Great shops and eateries are plentiful. There has been a recent renovation; it made a good value hotel into a great value. No carpeting! The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, and there is a very basic continental breakfast on offer. Being so central means the neighborhood enjoys quite a mix of demographics. There is a park across the street which at night is home to less fortunate people. I felt safe, however. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the inn to friends.
