Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa

We recently stayed at Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa in Tucson for a conference and was overall very pleased with the experience. The rooms were incredibly spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable — one of the highlights of the stay. In-room amenities were decent; while robes were provided, I was surprised there were no slippers, and the coffee maker could definitely use an update.

The resort grounds are beautiful, with a nice patio area perfect for relaxing. There are two pools, both well-maintained and stocked with towels and a water station, which was a great touch. The gym was decent and had enough equipment for a solid workout, and I was excited to find bonus tennis courts on the property as well.

Dining was a bit of a mixed bag — the restaurant service was very slow, and at one point we had to go inside to track down a server. However, our bar experience was outstanding. Greg, who hosted the complimentary tequila tasting, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to recommend great local restaurants. He also made us a fantastic espresso martini, and we enjoyed a great conversation with him.

Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient, which made everything even better.

Overall, I would definitely recommend Westward Look Wyndham if you’re looking for a spacious, comfortable stay in Tucson with lots of amenities. Just be ready to exercise a little patience at the restaurant.

Lovely desert resort with great rooms and views of the city. Staff was nice, especially the golf cart drivers. Which you will need as the rooms are spread across the property and hills. Came for a conference and the room rate quoted to our group was very reasonable. Large bathroom with extra sink. Large walk-in shower, comfy double beds with a fold out sofa included. Food was standard conference food but well done.

When arriving to a 1912 resort, we were very presently surprised! Our beds were beyond comfortable with the bed perfectly made and large enough for a taller couple.
The pools were immaculate with very comfortable furniture. They had lit pathways to enjoy for an evening walk that were nice a level. Our room was above the Chef's herb garden and we enjoyed all the birds, bunnies and butterflies during our stay. There was so much to do! We will come back again and again!

Rosa was so sweet and genuine. Sharing knowledge and stories. Beginning our day with the brightest smile!

Mark and Cathy in the restaurant were amazing as well. Cathy was our server for breakfast, making sure we had everything we needed. Mark was patient as we requested to wait for an outdoor table. Being from WA state we couldn’t resist the sun!

The breakfast was fairly priced and quite tasty with omelettes to order and the breakfast burrito was HUGE. We will for sure be back.

What an amazing stay! I was able to check in early, the staff is very helpful. The grounds are amazing, rabbits, hummingbirds, butterfly’s, horse stable and walking trail. Pool and jacuzzi were a plus. The food was by far a ten out of ten. The management is doing an amazing job. The rooms are very clean, beds are like sleeping in clouds. Overall super impressed and one of the best hotels in Tucson and I have stayed in over 40 hotels in town. What a gem and if you’re reading this review just book it you won’t regret it! I am currently staying at the hotel and debating on adding another night because it’s so relaxing.

Had a fantastic time! I was blown away by the attention to detail in this place, the amazing food had us hooked, and the spa is now one of my favorites!

We want to thank Marybeth and the entire staff at Westward Look. You guys are absolutely amazing, we were there for our wedding and you and your staff helped make it the perfect venue for the ceremony and reception. The Stargazer room was gorgeous. Our only complaint was that we couldn't stay there longer than 6 days!!! Thanks again and we will definitely be back!!! Rick and Wendy G

Great hotel with friendly staff, comfortable beds and a great view of Tucson. Lots of restaurants and things to do nearby. I recommend stopping by the hotel bar and trying the prickly pear iced tea and crispy guacamole chips. You won't be disappointed. The iced tea is especially delicious and refreshing on a hot desert day.

Everyone and everything was great. This resort setting near the mountains in Tucson was just gorgeous.
