Hotel Magic La Massana

Love this hotel, second time back this year, staff are so helpful and friendly. Food, facilities and atmosphere are perfect for activity holidays. We have been skiing at this resort for the past few years and this hotel and the people here are a good part of the reason we came back.

Very kind people, Amareto Sour is special and unique, don't hesitate to spend some times here !! The cantheen is really good(some times we have sushi )

Would highly recommend. Location was great - a 2 minute walk to the Gondola where it was only a 7 min ride up the mountain without there ever being any queues. Without exception all the staff were fantastic. All so friendly and helpful. And the food was top notch. Loads of variety and really good quality. The family room was a little on the small side as was the hotel swimming pool (which was also rather cold) but otherwise it was a very enjoyable stay.

Very nice hotel located in the city, close to bar and shops and supermarket. Max. 100 m to the skilift and skirental shop. The food was very good in the restaurant and the rooms was nice too. Spa and swimmingpool and fitness at the hotel. Very nice Irish Pub next to the hotel

This is quite a big hotel with 10 floors, 3 of which are underground. Ground floor has the reception and quite a large bar area. The next 5 floors are guest rooms with the top floor housing the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The 1st floor downwards was where the restaurant and kitchens were situated, probably catered for around 200 people. The lower two floors the car parking area and the ski lockers. My room was on the 5th floor, served by two elevators. Room was large with plenty of storage space, a TV a mini Bar and desk. The Bathroom was large and actually had a bath as well as a shower along with the usual basin an wc. There were plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. The restaurant was a buffet style and there was plenty. Breakfast had the usual fare of cereal, fruits, meat and cheeses as well as your English cooked breakfast. Oddly though, you could have rice with your breakfast. Dinner was served between 7.30 and 10pm, very large choice and all freshly cooked, I was having 4 courses every night, every meal was excellent. A mention for the staff, every one of them were smiling, helpful and courteous and I thought very hardworking. After two days I didn't even have to order a drink in the bar as the barman knew what I was having and brought it to me, great service. The reception staff were all very good and very helpful when the need arose. I took advantage of the massage service, and although a bit more expensive than my local masseuse, It was very good and worth the money. The gondola was about 2 minutes walk from the hotel and took you right to the main ski area. Altogether, the hotel and town itself were excellent. The ski area is small to be fair but was great for beginners and intermediates . Black runs were closed when I was there.

Spent a fabulous week at this hotel with family and friends in March 2024. Really easy check in from friendly helpful staff. We had 5 rooms, 2 were very large, the other 3 were smaller but quite adequate. All rooms comfortable and daily cleaning was superb. We had half board, very extensive breakfast, lots of choice of great food. Evening meals were equally good, tasty and filling. We had a vegan as part of our party, I emailed the hotel prior to let them know. What a response, vegan yoghurt and cheese at breakfast and a freshly prepared vegan meal every evening. Many thanks to the chef for being so accommodating, with such fabulous food. Best vegan meals our son has had EVER! Evenings were spent in the bar, sometimes a little noisy with all the table soccer, pool and computer games but a good atmosphere. Good prices for drinks and very friendly bar staff. Very short walk to the Gondola ski lift, after collecting gear from the hotel ski storage area at the hotel. Only negative point was the lift in the mornings when you are on the 5th floor, but to be expected and definitely not a major problem, patience helps. We still made the early lifts! Would definitely recommend this hotel and will book again if skiing in Pal Arinsal. Thanks you to all the staff for a wonderful stay.

This place is great! Friendly staff, clean with good food. And it has a lively and authentic Irish style bar which we loved. Special thanks to Matias, Agustin and Melanie the bar staff, for looking after my wife and I. We'll definitely come back.
