(went there a few month ago) The owners were super friendly and helpful. And the location was very good, close to almost everything. The owner reccomend to take a walk to the castle even though the road is steep. We're glad she told us because we found lots of gorgeous places on our walk.

Located in the new town area. Good base at Gjriokaster if one carries heavy luggage. 10 minutes walk to the bus stop outside the main road gas station. However, it requires about 30 minutes steep walk to the castle. If anyone wants to walk less, a bus for 30 lek can bring you to the old town at uphill. Owner is extremely kind and helpful. What can i say for this friendly and really helpful couple? I needed a room last minute just for the night and their service and attitude was excellent. The lady speaks 3 languages and maybe more so you will definately get a great communication. The room and bathroom were so clean i felt sorry to use them :D Highly recommended.

Good service with a bit of introduction of the manager. The rooms are nice with air condition and good bathroom. A must to check is the terrace with amazing views like the castle. Priceless

Very convenient location. The castle is not far away. It is very uphill to the very place, but after checking in, all the attractions are at your fingertips. We stayed only one night at this place. Enough to enjoy its beautiful view and sleep in its comfourtable beds. The bedroom was clean, spacious, with air conditioner and a mini fridge. The family running the place is very kind and offered us a lot of help. Great price, great location. They have private and safe parking.

The place is a bit far but it is worth it for the view from the balcony. The hostesses are very friendly and although they only speak Albanian, they are well predisposed to help. The price is very good, the space is large and the bed is comfortable.

Nice and welcoming guesthouse run by a local family. The location next to the very old town is superb. There are plenty of places in a short walking distance to hang out, the neighbourhood offers stunning views and the staff was most helpful. One can enjoy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town. The castle is a short climb away.

This is absolutely the best place I have had the pleasure of staying. The room was nice, we had a little balcony with a view of the city and everything was in order. Hotel was located in quiet zone but close to the tourist places like for example the castle. Very good place to stay in Gjirokaster. Amazing hosts, amazing place and even more incredible breakfast. I only don't put 5 stars because we had a lot of troubles to find the place because google directions are not correct and we didn't get any message from the host explaining how to get there. Finally they had to come where we were and help us to get there.

This is the best Guesthouse we have been to in Albania. The location is amazing, just a few minutes from the bazaar and the castle. The host was extremely helpful with the arrival and our stay there, and even helped us to book activities around town. The breakfasts were yummy, in front of the inspiring views of the Gjirokaster stone rooftops.

Book in now! This place is just amazing - the host Edmond, plus his family made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are great - imagine you are staying in your own personal castle - chandeliers and all! But the hospitality was what made it special. The owner was very very helpful, gave us tips on where to go, and arranged a taxi for us one day when we wanted to visit the mountains on the other side of the valley.
