Very nice hotel...a struggle to find, but worth it. Clean and tidy, nice staff with good English. Large room out front was comfy but you do get morning noise, i might have preferred no view as we didn't sit in the room at all.

I can definitely recommend this small hotel. Very cozy, friendly and helpful staff, nice pool and a little gym with a great view. Located right next to the old town. Our room was on the top floor and the roof was a little low, but it was clean, nice and with good air conditioning

Lovely small hotel in an old house, very close the bazaar centre. Good size rooms, modern bathroom. Also a small swimming pool and patio area where they serve a big and varied breakfast. Helpful staff, couldn't fault it.

Traditional hotel built like a big family house with modern guest rooms. Every floor living room is decorated with traditional carpets, chests and other knick knacks. The rooms have carved ceilings. The breakfast is a big and plentiful.

On our 2-Week trip in Albania, this was our favourite hotel. Beautiful rooms, looking like they were recently renovated but with nice touch of traditional furniture. Stunning views. We got a warm welcome from the very attentive and helpful staff.

A smart hotel, well located in the centre of town, close to the shopping area but still a good trek up to the castle (but it is worth it). Nice rooms, but ours was at the back and faced a wall! Breakfast was good with the first selection of teas I'd seen in Albania. Bar service was also very good.

The place is wonderfully located overhanging the Drin valley and next to Gjirokaster castle. The hosts are lovely and make you feel at home. We highly recommend.

Our host Harikla and her husband have been very accommodating and made our stay pleasant. Great communication, basic but delicious breakfast, stunning views in the morning, clean room, quiet location. The owner was such a nice women, who is fluent in several languages (Italian, English and even more). She made us feel welcome from the start, with her home made lemonade and the extensive breakfast, which you can enjoy on the terrace. Almost felt sad leaving. It felt like a breath of fresh air. Great location high up in the hills above Gjirocaster. Do not try to walk here with bags as the roads are cobblestone and steep! The owners will pick you up from the bus station for 600 Lek which is worthwhile investment. Nice and welcoming guesthouse run by a local family. The location next to the very old town is superb. There are plenty of places in a short walking distance to hang out, the neighbourhood offers stunning views and the staff was most helpful. One can enjoy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town. The castle is a short climb away.

Loved our 2 night stay here. The room and balcony area was really lovely and comfortable, and exceeded expectations from the photos we saw - the pictures didn't do it justice. This is absolutely the best place I have had the pleasure of staying. The room was nice, we had a little balcony with a view of the city and everything was in order. Room vas very clean, the bed was comfortable, the owner was very simpatic. Breakfast was very good. Many people in the comments complained about the location but we liked it. Hotel was located in quiet zone but close to the tourist places like for example the castle. It is true that hotel is located in high place and that google map leads through the wrong road, through stairs that you cant drive...

Very good place to stay in Gjirokaster. Amazing hosts, amazing place and even more incredible breakfast. I only don't put 5 stars because we had a lot of troubles to find the place because google directions are not correct and we didn't get any message from the host explaining how to get there. Finally they had to come where we were and help us to get there.

This is the best Guesthouse we have been to in Albania. The location is amazing, just a few minutes from the bazaar and the castle. The host was extremely helpful with the arrival and our stay there, and even helped us to book activities around town. The breakfasts were yummy, in front of the inspiring views of the Gjirokaster stone rooftops.

Book in now! This place is just amazing - the host Edmond, plus his family made our stay unforgettable. The rooms are great - imagine you are staying in your own personal castle - chandeliers and all! But the hospitality was what made it special. The owner was very very helpful, gave us tips on where to go, and arranged a taxi for us one day when we wanted to visit the mountains on the other side of the valley.

Super Cute and clean, very center of old town. Owner is very accommodating. Third time we stayed here in Sept 2021 still super.
