We had a really good time in Gjirokastër, and this hotel is the best place to stay in, and the location is just by walk to the castle. Way too cheap for the quality and the location of this hotel. Definitely we will be coming again after new year 🤩🤞🏼.

Came with my family for breakfast, the food was freshly made and delicious and the service was great. In terms of location, maybe because it was my first time there it was a bit confusing. Overall, 10/10 would recommend.

Had an amazing time at Hotel Fantasy! Service was great! Breakfast was delicious! We couldn’t find parking and called the front desk and they were so helpful picking us up. The location and views were unbeatable! You get a view of the castle from breakfast! Super clean well maintained would romcommed!

Spectacular hotel with a perfect view and great location. Rooms were nice and clean. Delicious breakfast and full of choices. Very friendly amd helpful staff. The only difficulty was the parking spot. Everything else was perfect.

We didn’t stay at the hotel. We drank at the bar. We consumed 10 Korças, an Aperol spritz, and a glass of wine. The bar is situated on the side of a cliff. As a result it has panoramic views of the mountains and city below. The people were kind. The drinks were priced correctly. We spoke to each other of memories. We looked at the setting sun. We felt happy.

This is a lovely old well maintained hotel at top of Gjirokaster with great views over valley and hills. Rooms were in excellent condition and breakfast was amazing - the best we had anywhere in Albania. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful hotel with European styling, lovely bathrooms, lovely woodwork, tea kettle in the room. Good water pressure in a compact shower so not for the obese. Plenty of lighting and two mirrors. Firm mattress and immaculately clean throughout. Excellent breakfast serving the expected plus cooked beets, beet greens and vegetables.

Considering the price the room we had was tiny and the shower was hard to turn it - and we are not overweight. Also the photos on the website were very misleading as they misrepresented how the hotel and room looked. We've stayed in several other hotels in Albania at a much lower cost.

Located very easy walk to the Castle of Gjirokastra; Argjiro Hotel has been renovated to match the ambiance of the area with impressive and detailed hand-crafted wood working in the reception area. Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

It's a simple motel for a couple of days' stopover. The staff is fast and friendly, good treatment, very good parking. There were no towels and the front desk resolved the issue quickly.

No elevator access to my room, which was awful. Not to mention key card didn’t always work. Lovely way down to the office after a day of walking. Really frustrating when you have mobility issues.

Amazing views from the hotel to the mountain. The restaurant where breakfast is served is on the roof, so it is beautiful to sit and eat whilst taking in the spectacular views. The hotel is in a great location in the heart of the old bazaar. It is also easy to walk up to the caslte. Room was comfy and the views definitely are the selling point of this hotel.

Fantastic location, 1 minute walk from the Grand Bizarre and 1 minute in the other direction to the cathedral. Restautants and bars are on the doorstep. Breakfast was the best that I have had so far in Albania with much more choice and food being replenished. The shower was not great, with water not coming out of the whole shower head but the room was good with a comfy bed.

Really well located, modern hotel. This hotel is just beyond the end of the road up to the town meaning you don't have to take your luggage too far! Can't get any where more central, right in the square. Vehicles only allowed so far , it's a 5 minute walk. Easy check-in, lift temperamental, room clean and tidy, comfortable bed, decent shower. Only negative, there's no bedside light , bit of an inconvenience. Breakfast OK, great views from the dining room. I had a balcony with my room, great views.

Facing the main square Hotel Cajupi is close to many restaurants. The outdoor dining area on the top floor offers a panoramic view ot the town and nearby plains. Rooms were clean with consistent wi-fi access. The hotel offer a modest breakfast buffet. When I dined there the only fruit served was sliced watermelon. The coffee was also weak.

Right on the edge of the old cobblestone paved streets of the city of stone. This hotel is very good option. Breakfast was very good. They do not accept credit cards.Bar service was also very good. We recommended!

Beautiful hotel in an incredible setting. The road up is challenging but they provide YouTube videos which are very helpful, and taxis up and down are inexpensive if you prefer not to drive it yourself. Would very much recommend a stay here!

Clean room, great food and very friendly, pro active staff! We wished we stayed longer. One full day can be spent by the pool with amazing views of the old town! The pool water is super clean too! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and there’s free parking! Stay as long as possible!

Great place with amazing views. All of the plates that we tried were really tasty and it was an opportunity to try the local cuisine as well. Also, all of the stuff members were kind.

Just finished our 2 night stay at this hotel. The beds are so comfortable and the view of the hotel is incredible. However the best thing about this place is the wonderful staff. They are all so nice and helpful. They go above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable! We also dined at the restaurant as well and the food is superb. I truly recommend this place to anyone visiting Gjirokaster.

Historic building with welcoming hospitality and very good food. Magnificent views from the dining area. Good local wine selection. Somewhat difficult and narrow uphill route to the hotel, and parking is three floors below the entrance.

Very nice hotel...a struggle to find, but worth it. Clean and tidy, nice staff with good English. Large room out front was comfy but you do get morning noise, i might have preferred no view as we didn't sit in the room at all.

The staff is wonderful. The room is nice and clean. The breakfast is fantastic as well. Parking is limited and the roads are tight. We pulled up and a male staff member unloaded our suitcases and then moved the car for us to where it could be parked. I would recommend doing this as we never would have known to park where he did. I’d an amazing stay at Palorto hotel! The owners were really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was one of the best ones that I’d recently. When I requested for an iron, I got it in 5 minutes! Brilliant service and I’d book it again if I plan to visit albania again!

I would say no more than passable as the room was very basic. I put three stars given the very low price of the room. Instead, I liked the breakfast, very "robust" and the magnificent view of the historic center of Gjirokastra, since we had a room on the upper floors. Free parking in the area.

Totally clean, perfect service. Free parking, breakfast was included. Maradonna is very helpful. I really recommend this place! The view was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed a good traditional dinner. There s also a free shuttle service to the city

Just 15 minutes of walk to the castle of Gjirokastra. And the owner offered also free transport . Clean rooms and an extreme quiet ,made our staying unforgettable. Typical South Albanian dishes offered at the restaurant downstairs. Highly recommended

Excellent hotel with onsite restaurant and closed parking very close to the city centre. Host is very welcoming and helpful. He was fulfilling all our requests, he drove us to the castle in his own car free of charge. Dinner was very good and inexpensive and breakfast very good as well. Exceptional spot, right behind all the noise in a peaceful alley where you can rest before shopping or dine and wine. Literally 50 meters away from the central square and 10 mins walk from all you have to see in Gjirokaster. The manager was incredibly helpful and the breakfast was great! I would totally recommend it.

The hotel is not bad, clean and very well located. The owner a very nice and helpful person. It is next to a club and i could not sleep all night, till early morning. The breakfast was very limited and no options, just a cold byrek. Although the lady who served the breakfast was amazing.
