Oh what a find! We were slightly nervous about our Albania trip and we really did not need to be. It was an hour’s drive from Sarande in to the mountains to Gjirokaster via some stunning scenery but there was not much habitation in between. Clean room, great food and very friendly, pro active staff! We wished we stayed longer. One full day can be spent by the pool with amazing views of the old town! The pool water is super clean too! Food and drinks were reasonably priced and there’s free parking! Stay as long as possible!

Fabulous facility with stunning pools and restaurant with panoramic views in all directions. If you’re driving your own car, it’s a little difficult to access. Advice: park at the hotel and then take a taxi to any destination. Restaurant is excellent, with breathtaking views.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The rooms are spacious, modern and comfortable, and each room has an amazing view. The pools are beautiful, and it’s a stunning location to have breakfast and dinner. It’s a fair stroll downhill into town, but a taxi back is no problem.

So happy with the service, food and drinks. Breakfast was amazing! Looking forward to go back and stay there!

A wonderful stay! The pool and mountain views were stunning, the food delicious, and the service exceptional. Staff were incredibly helpful, even arranging a reliable taxi service that made exploring Gjirokastër’s tricky old town easy. Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, overnight stay, we arrived in the middle of the night and were received very warmly. The breakfast is fantastic and the prices are more than acceptable.

We stopped by by chance after looking for somewhere to eat and was pleasantly surprised. They have a kind of buffet but where they kindly ask you to see the food (especially because of the difference in languages, although they speak English) and choose what you like best. (went there a few month ago) The owners were super friendly and helpful. And the location was very good, close to almost everything. The owner reccomend to take a walk to the castle even though the road is steep. We're glad she told us because we found lots of gorgeous places on our walk.

Located in the new town area. Good base at Gjriokaster if one carries heavy luggage. 10 minutes walk to the bus stop outside the main road gas station. However, it requires about 30 minutes steep walk to the castle. If anyone wants to walk less, a bus for 30 lek can bring you to the old town at uphill. Owner is extremely kind and helpful. The best value for money. The host with the warmest heart in Albania. The best place to get away but still be in the city. Comfy room. What can i say for this friendly and really helpful couple? I needed a room last minute just for the night and their service and attitude was excellent. The lady speaks 3 languages and maybe more so you will definately get a great communication. The room and bathroom were so clean i felt sorry to use them :D Highly recommended.

Good service with a bit of introduction of the manager. The rooms are nice with air condition and good bathroom. A must to check is the terrace with amazing views like the castle. Priceless

Exceptional spot, right behind all the noise in a peaceful alley where you can rest before shopping or dine and wine. Literally 50 meters away from the central square and 10 mins walk from all you have to see in Gjirokaster. The manager was incredibly helpful and the breakfast was great! I would totally recommend it.

The hotel is not bad, clean and very well located. The owner a very nice and helpful person. It is next to a club and i could not sleep all night, till early morning. The breakfast was very limited and no options, just a cold byrek. Although the lady who served the breakfast was amazing.

A charming hotel in an historic and well renovated period Ottoman era villa. The room we had was comfortable and spacious. There are level views from the balcony of the old and new towns and across the valley. It is well situated for the old bazaar quarter and castle. Beautiful, quaint hotel with lovely old style Albanian furnishings. Classic! We took “the best” room #3, with king-size very comfortable bed with soft linens. Very pleasant young team with good English in charge of reception and the breakfasts. Terrace with stunning views. Just on the edge of the old town - everywhere easy to walk to and friendly (but don’t go for the gastronomy) restaurants. A comfortable place to stay.

It's a simple motel for a couple of days' stopover. The staff is fast and friendly, good treatment, very good parking. There were no towels and the front desk resolved the issue quickly.

No elevator access to my room, which was awful. Not to mention key card didn’t always work. Lovely way down to the office after a day of walking. Really frustrating when you have mobility issues.

Nice and welcoming guesthouse run by a local family. The location next to the very old town is superb. There are plenty of places in a short walking distance to hang out, the neighbourhood offers stunning views and the staff was most helpful. One can enjoy breakfast on the terrace overlooking the town. The castle is a short climb away.

Very nice hotel...a struggle to find, but worth it. Clean and tidy, nice staff with good English. Large room out front was comfy but you do get morning noise, i might have preferred no view as we didn't sit in the room at all.

Lovely small hotel in an old house, very close the bazaar centre. Good size rooms, modern bathroom. Also a small swimming pool and patio area where they serve a big and varied breakfast. Helpful staff, couldn't fault it.

This is absolutely the best place I have had the pleasure of staying. The room was nice, we had a little balcony with a view of the city and everything was in order. What sets this place apart, though is the family who runs it. They all went above and beyond and made us feel very welcome.
