Towels came stained and dirty. Whilst we were out during the day, the housekeeping took away the keycard that gave the room electricity.   So everything we had in the refrigerator spoilt. Including some baby milk formula

About 5 min walk from main train station. Room is clean. Receptionist are friendly and helpful. Got a free room upgrade but the upgraded room is kinda small, i guess the upgrade was having a coffee machine in the room.

Location is great very close to the train station and there is a mall just right across the street. They have full amenities as well. Highly recommended if you travel by train.

Decent amenities and quiet room in general

The hotel is conveniently located for those looking to take the 840 bus to Königsee and is also close to the train and bus stations, making it easy to access the old town

Best of all we did not spend a single euro buying mineral water. We got fresh safe drinkable water both hot and cold directly from the bathroom tap. The best part of this hotel is SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE

Very pleasant personnel, with a good English level. The hotel is clean and has spacious rooms. The only downside is that part of the furniture is old. The breakfast is tasty and contains a diverse range of products

Great stay. Traveling with two teenage sons. The room was large and gave us all privacy. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was always helpful. Location was a short 5 minute bus ride in to the center of town.

Me and my husband stayed from 24th May 2025 to 28th May 2025. And the end of our stay we felt very sad to go to Munich which was our second leg of the journey. Fantastic bed, hot water in bathroom

The property is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking for us was a challenge due to the weekend. Walkable to main Salzburg attractions, but not for the elderly. Excellent for adult travellers.

The room design is very European and comfortable. You can buy tourist attraction cards at the hotel. The only downside is that it is difficult to adjust the water temperature of the shower

Loved our room with the separate living space with a couch and chair. Beautiful view from the 4th floor. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice to have the shutters to close at night

I recently stayed at the Dorint City Hotel Salzburg and I can highly recommend it! The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes away from the main attractions of the city

We have problem with the air conditioning in 1 room. The staff requested us to monitor for the night. If it doesn’t show improvement, they will change the room for us

Convenient location for train station in and out of Salzburg. Walk to old town is relatively easy and about 15 minutes walk. Thai restaurant across the road is highly recommended as well as brewery around the corner

It's a little far from the center and the station, so it's a little tiring to get around. Since I stayed in Salzburg, I got a free bus ticket within Salzburg

If you take a taxi to the city its only 11 euros which is very reasonable

This was a very comfortable room for our family of 4. Plenty of space as the room was huge. And both the room and bathroom have recently been remodeled, so they were modern and clean. The breakfast was quite good as well

Our accommodation on 29/30/31 May 2021 in the hotel LILIENHOF went very well. The welcome, the cleanliness, the quality/price ratio are very good

The breakfast is very high quality breakfast and has many choices. We love their pastry and breads. We definitely will come back to this hotel in our next visit to the city

Easy access to all the historical visit location. All are within walking distance. The hotel personnels are all very helpful and polite

You can walk to the station/Mirabell Palace Gardens. The hotel restaurant next to it seems to have good reviews and there are many people queuing. In addition, there are many restaurants to choose from nearby

Within walking distance to the hbf. We booked family room, the space is big enough for the family. Variety of breakfast. Also you could walk to mirabell palace from the hotel. 20€ fee for parking per day.

Sometimes I can hear the sound of trains, but the scenery at the station is nice and the sound doesn’t affect my life too much. Great location! It won’t be dangerous to walk around the area by yourself

It's only 7 minutes away from the train station. When I checked in, I wanted a room on a higher floor. The service girl was very patient and helped me store my luggage and reserve a room

The hotel offers a fair price for travelling. The room was a bit old and refrigerator was not available. But the receptionists were friendly and willing to help out.

Location: I like that bus stops are very near the hotel to go to the popular spots in the city. Far enough from the crowd but not too far from necessities such as supermarket (Billa) and a very good restaurant (Fuxn)

Staff were attentive and could not have been more helpful. Also, try the pool and spa next door! Nice spa and a silly fast lazy river our son loved!

Of course, I bought a 24-hour bus card myself, the purpose is to see several attractions for free + take the cable car, which is very enjoyable! However, the price of the hotel is very different from its soft power, and the price is high!

Very nice gesture.. hotel is pretty nice and close to everything. As a titanium member they gave me a junior suite upgrade.. seen better rooms but overall everyone is friendly. Expensive parking though @ 19€ / night

This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The meeting point for local tours to Hallstatt and other places is just around the corner

I can't believe that the hotel room facilities are very new after so many years. Especially the faucets and shower facilities in the bathroom are spotless and of good quality. I guess it's a newly renovated room

The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk to Mirabell Gardens. It's also 10 minutes to the river. Some rooms in the hotel are being renovated, but I didn't hear any noise during my two-day stay

Walking distance to an old street and about 15mins walk to most of the attractions and museums (and a bus stop right in front to the station!) the hotel room is very clean with not many in-room amenities, however on the ground floor lounge they had 24hr free water, coffee and tea

Absolutely perfect location as per my requirements. It was not in the touristy area, yet walkable. Perfect for travel and transport out of town. Lockers were provided free of charges. Economical tariff. Excellent staff.

It is not located where all the tourist stuff is, but one can take a bus, 2 minute walk. Very conveniently located in terms of that

we stayed here for two nights, the location is perfect for tourists, because you can walk to the Mirabelgarten, or Mozart house, or the walking street, also there are some local shops which you can reach for your needs to buy

The room is quite big, the family room for three is spacious, well designed and quite good It is located just across the street from Mirabell Palace, and it is really about 50-100 meters away from the main attractions

The staff were very friendly and spoke clear English. They also provided maps with directions to each tourist attraction and other fun activities. The room was quiet and facing inward (not directly on the main road)

The downstairs facilities are very complete, including a Western restaurant, a Chinese restaurant (Wenzhou cuisine), a sushi restaurant, and several souvenir shops selling chocolates, clothing, etc

We enjoyed our stay at the Goldenes Theater Hotel in Salzburg. The room was large enough for our needs and the bathroom also had plenty of room. The only thing I can't get used to is the bedding

Until you show up to the Schloss. What do they have? Great pool. Grab a couple aperol spritzes and go for an underwater breathing competition. Skip the serve it yourself buffet and Order an omelette and some crepes

Take the elevator and walk to La Stella. Order the bolognese, the feta cheese pizza, and the tiramisu. Drink wine and take the long way back. Draw a bath, walk around in the robe, and fall asleep reading

There is a beautiful fountain in front of the gate, which feels aristocratic. There should be more than twenty rooms in total. The rooms are clean and warm, and the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden

There is also a spa on the top of the mountain. The hotel is integrated with the mountain. The hotel restaurant is a little expensive, but many business people from Salzburg come back here to eat

We borrowed walking sticks for hiking from the hotel and it was an awesome activity nearby. They also had sauna, bowling and board games at the lobby that we didn't use but I think it was a nice touch

Bedroom was clean and super comfy, when we arrived there was a kind welcome letter and a small chocolate cake, so thoughtful! The bathroom had heated floor, good amenities and nice shower

The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with great views. The rooms are not big, and it is an old hotel with unique features, suitable for short-term stays.

We stayed for a weekend to hike and explore the areas around Fuschlsee and Mondsee. It’s pricey but worth the money. Nice small spa area and pool in the hotel. Gourmet style restaurant, great food

They view down to Salzburg was so nice that we just stayed up in the hills rather than walk the city. Its only a short 10 minute drive to the city and you will do best with your own car. There is plenty of free parking

This hotel was lovely and in the heart of Salzburg. It was easy to get to all the attractions that we had wanted to get to and there were plenty of food options nearby. Overall, a lovely stay and would go there again.

Stayed in this hotel in April 2025. Room was small, but comfortable and clean. The hallway is made with tiles, without any carpets, so it was getting a bit noisy when anyone was walking by/talking outside the room

The photo for that room category shows one bed and a pull out couch. That is why we paid for that category. Upon arrival, we were told there was only one bed and that the photo was incorrect

I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg

Great history, location, cleanliness, breakfast, and staff. Make sure you understand how to get in and out of the parking area if you bring a car. It is tricky and you can easily find yourself lost

On a pedestrian street, so taxi from airport dropped us at bottom of road, a couple of hundred metres walk, no problem for us but could be if you're not so mobile or have a lot of luggage

However when we left, hotel booked us a taxi and they came right to door, so may be better to contact hotel for airport pick up as they know taxi with access past bollards etc

Loved the central location. The staff was super helpful, especially the lovely lady with the red heart shaped glasses. This was our favorite stay. We will be back !
