Towels came stained and dirty. Whilst we were out during the day, the housekeeping took away the keycard that gave the room electricity.   So everything we had in the refrigerator spoilt. Including some baby milk formula

About 5 min walk from main train station. Room is clean. Receptionist are friendly and helpful. Got a free room upgrade but the upgraded room is kinda small, i guess the upgrade was having a coffee machine in the room.

Location is great very close to the train station and there is a mall just right across the street. They have full amenities as well. Highly recommended if you travel by train.

Decent amenities and quiet room in general

The hotel is conveniently located for those looking to take the 840 bus to Königsee and is also close to the train and bus stations, making it easy to access the old town

Good hotel in walking distance to the city center. Only stayed 1 night for a weekend trip in the off-season, got lucky and a nice room with breakfast for a low price considering the location and the 4**** of the hotel

The hotel is conveniently located. Although it's not in the heart of the old city, it's still very convenient, just a ten-minute walk to the city center. The room was nice, and overall I was quite satisfied.

I loved my stay here. Everyone was incredibly nice, and the breakfasts are great. I'll definitely try to stay here again if I come back to Salzburg!

We enjoyed our stay at the Goldenes Theater Hotel in Salzburg. The room was large enough for our needs and the bathroom also had plenty of room. The only thing I can't get used to is the bedding

This hotel was lovely and in the heart of Salzburg. It was easy to get to all the attractions that we had wanted to get to and there were plenty of food options nearby. Overall, a lovely stay and would go there again.

Stayed in this hotel in April 2025. Room was small, but comfortable and clean. The hallway is made with tiles, without any carpets, so it was getting a bit noisy when anyone was walking by/talking outside the room

The French girl helping us at the front desk was amazing. She was very helpful for everything from parking to dining options

For guests staying more than 2 nights, please clearly explain how to request room cleaning 3. We need a chair to sit on while putting on makeup 4. Inform customers of applications such as OBB Scotty (bus/tram)

The photo for that room category shows one bed and a pull out couch. That is why we paid for that category. Upon arrival, we were told there was only one bed and that the photo was incorrect

A 10 minute bus ride from old town Salzburg. Very quaint and an excellent breakfast! The grounds looked pretty in the snow. There is an indoor and outdoor pool.

What a beautiful property and truly lovely family running this hotel. We only stayed for three days in Salzburg but this was an excellent base for our short visit being close to the centre and the mountains

The family history is very interesting and quite remarkable. Great choice for breakfast, staff attentive and friendly. Indoor pool lovely for a short dip and although we didn't use it, a well equipped gym

This is a really lovely guesthouse. A very warm welcome, a lovely comfortable room with good shower room. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the pretty gardens and outdoor pool

This is our second visit and again we have had an Absolutely faultless stay. - outstanding hospitality; extremely friendly staff- will book to come back. And the indoor and outdoor pool were brilliant

We stayed in a number of Gasthofs during our trip and this was the nicest. The service was very friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna were gorgeous and clean and well-serviced

Great stay in Salzburg Great stay and location. The room was clean and perfect for the two of us. The location was excellent with easy access to parking and the old town. The breakfast was also very good

On a pedestrian street, so taxi from airport dropped us at bottom of road, a couple of hundred metres walk, no problem for us but could be if you're not so mobile or have a lot of luggage

However when we left, hotel booked us a taxi and they came right to door, so may be better to contact hotel for airport pick up as they know taxi with access past bollards etc

Loved the central location. The staff was super helpful, especially the lovely lady with the red heart shaped glasses. This was our favorite stay. We will be back !

We stayed in an apartment, room was great, comfy, clean etc and in an ideal location close to Mirabell Gardens and old town etc

Parking lot is small very small but if you can get you car in there and there is space you will pay 12 euro for your spot at the front desk. Have not had breakfast yet but looking forward to what they have to offer

Although we stayed in the K6 rooms across the street, we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Nothing, absolutely nothing was too much effort for the staff. They looked after us in the most professional and warm manner

The breakfast was amazing and they allowed us, a party of 7 people, to treat the foyer like our own living room. It is literally 5 min walk from the main town bus and train station

Loved this hotel! It's decorated beautifully, the service is friendly, and it's close to everything! They also have a wonderful all you can eat buffet for breakfast!

Employees all spoke german and English not sure if they speak more languages. They where very helpful and going out of there way to explain what's around the city

So fare I really enjoyed it the room was a lot bigger then I expected. The bathroom had heated floor. Refrigerator was not stocked but that does not matter to me

Best of all we did not spend a single euro buying mineral water. We got fresh safe drinkable water both hot and cold directly from the bathroom tap. The best part of this hotel is SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE

Great stay. Traveling with two teenage sons. The room was large and gave us all privacy. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was always helpful. Location was a short 5 minute bus ride in to the center of town.

Me and my husband stayed from 24th May 2025 to 28th May 2025. And the end of our stay we felt very sad to go to Munich which was our second leg of the journey. Fantastic bed, hot water in bathroom

good price for a little room to spend a night in. Comes with all neccessary i.e. TV, kettle, mini fridge.. overall clean. only comment is on the mattress... either it is super soft or its already damaged.

Nice and clean rooms with lots of space. Bathroom was clean and had all the toiletries. Breakfast was great with good amont of items to choose from. There was parking, but if the hotel is full you can stay without it

There is only 1 place to eat next door however recommendation, please don't go to the Chinese place next door staff is beyond rude and tells you different prices for food and when you pay its higher prices charged, and they called me and my friend liars and that we have something wrong with our hearing

Our accommodation on 29/30/31 May 2021 in the hotel LILIENHOF went very well. The welcome, the cleanliness, the quality/price ratio are very good

The hotel is located at a place where it is near to Salzburg airport and it is a quiet and peaceful town. Hotel room is spacious and had a lot of walking space. The view from the balcony is absolutely GORGEOUS

Rooms were clean and comfortable for 3 adults. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Breakfast was sufficient for vegetarians. Its definitely a good place to stay in Salzburg on a budget

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lilienhof. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and spacious. Hotel staff was helpful - we forgot a toothbrush and they very kindly provided one

When we had our lunch at the restaurant, he made the effort to explain the dishes to us and even gave us free candies at the end. Had a very nice chit chat with him too

You can walk to the station/Mirabell Palace Gardens. The hotel restaurant next to it seems to have good reviews and there are many people queuing. In addition, there are many restaurants to choose from nearby

Within walking distance to the hbf. We booked family room, the space is big enough for the family. Variety of breakfast. Also you could walk to mirabell palace from the hotel. 20€ fee for parking per day.

Sometimes I can hear the sound of trains, but the scenery at the station is nice and the sound doesn’t affect my life too much. Great location! It won’t be dangerous to walk around the area by yourself

It's only 7 minutes away from the train station. When I checked in, I wanted a room on a higher floor. The service girl was very patient and helped me store my luggage and reserve a room

Walking distance to an old street and about 15mins walk to most of the attractions and museums (and a bus stop right in front to the station!) the hotel room is very clean with not many in-room amenities, however on the ground floor lounge they had 24hr free water, coffee and tea

Absolutely perfect location as per my requirements. It was not in the touristy area, yet walkable. Perfect for travel and transport out of town. Lockers were provided free of charges. Economical tariff. Excellent staff.

Perfect location for us well managed hotel with parking at an extra cost but youd expect that given the location. Staff were friendly and helpful giving us help when needed and offering recommendations

The complementary breakfast was also a highlight! We didn’t expect much but they had a great selection of bread, ham, cheese yogurt, jams, scrambled eggs, and tea and coffee (with milk)

First of all, this hotel has a local style, the elevator is very simple, the lobby is very beautiful, and the layout is very harmonious and stylish. Secondly, the room is amazing

Location is great. We can walk from hotel to many attractions. The services are good. Besides, there is a locker room for leaving luggage after check out.

The room is quite big, the family room for three is spacious, well designed and quite good It is located just across the street from Mirabell Palace, and it is really about 50-100 meters away from the main attractions

The staff were very friendly and spoke clear English. They also provided maps with directions to each tourist attraction and other fun activities. The room was quiet and facing inward (not directly on the main road)

The downstairs facilities are very complete, including a Western restaurant, a Chinese restaurant (Wenzhou cuisine), a sushi restaurant, and several souvenir shops selling chocolates, clothing, etc

From check-in to check-out, the staff responded kindly. The location was in the center of Salzburg, so it had good access to tourist attractions.

Great location and accommodating staff in this charming boutique hotel. The linens/ towels need upgrading as the towels are very thin and seem worn out. The pillows are thin and lumpy plus the mattresses are very hard

Very good location -- train station is 10 minutes one way, the old town 10 minutes the other. Staff is brilliant, especially Rene, who ventures beyond helpful into psychic territory

Stayed in the XL room- cute clean spacious apt and bathroom…close to city centre and train station- 5 min walk to bridge and all amenities
