Nice hotel. But really didn't not understand, why the bathroom door is glass door. No privacy at all. The bathroom is close to the bad. So if you want to use toilet, you cannot do it, without that person in your room will know and smell. Not a good idea. It was a business room. Liked the breakfast. Try it 👌. A good hotel and we had a comfortable stay spending two nights here. The interiors are traditional, they have probably seen better days; but having said that it’s clean and the staff is wonderful. Because in these difficult times, it is not easy for a hotel to accept both good hosts and all Corona hygiene measures, so it is still a pleasure and pleasure for me as a guest to stay here. Nice mid size hotel in Salzburg. We arrived somewhat late and its great they have a parking lot right next to the hotel. The room was good sized and the bed was quite comfortable. Modern hotel, bad services, average location, good breakfast, nice view

The staff downstairs were so nice, so I would like to give it a better score, unfortunately the bed quality was so poor that it lost two stars. The pillow in particular is something I would expect to see in a college dorm, not a Hotel. Also, the bathroom provides no privacy and no option to blacken the windows which wasn’t very enjoyable.

The room was extremely clean and free parking is a big plus. The staffs are friendly and helpful but the noise from downstairs in the ealry morning (maybe kitchen and breakfast area) was bothersome.

Very clean accommodations and was right on the bus line to the city center. It's just a short bus ride to the downtown. There is a DM around the corner in case you forget something. The breakfast in the morning (not included) is a little overpriced, but the food is fresh, there is a good selection of food and it's all you can eat, so for us it was a hastle-free start to the day. Hotel is located a bit outside of the city center (15min walk to historic center). We liked that there is free parking. Otherwise the hotel offers big rooms, clean bath rooms. Breakfast lacks variety and is mostly average. Stuff was very friendly and helped us with everything.

This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had as I travel through six European countries. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend both restaurants and the breakfast was exceptional.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff have been so helpful. We needed a wheelchair for my wife so we asked the hotel if they could ring a rental company for us to arrange the hire. No chair's were available so the hotel allowed us to use their own wheelchair free of charge for the duration of our visit. All in all a great hotel.

Great central position easy access to Mirabel and the old part of the town. The restaurant on the sixt floor is great and food excellent.

All staffs in this hotel are very kind. Especially breakfast in the sky lounge on 6th floor was unforgettable memory for my family. My family really like this hotel.

The restaurants in the Hotel are both great, but I guess you need to reserve ahead if you want the view from the pictures in the skybar restaurant. Breakfast is very good too.

Inside the room there were a few flies and spiders. We found hair on the floor. Also, there is AC, which does not work and at night it was too hot to sleep.

Our accommodation on 29/30/31 May 2021 in the hotel LILIENHOF went very well. The welcome, the cleanliness, the quality/price ratio are very good. A special mention to Mrs STEINER (manager) for her professionalism and impeccable business sense. My opinion also takes into account a previous stay in 09/2020. I seriously recommend this hotel. Owner extremely nice and polite. He is very humble and owns both the chinese restaurant and the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable for 3 adults. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Breakfast was sufficient for vegetarians. Its definitely a good place to stay in Salzburg on a budget. If you take a taxi to the city its only 11 euros which is very reasonable.

We stayed for one night at the Mercure on a stopover in Salzburg. The visit started off right - I had asked to be notified if early check-in was possible, and Ms. Benedick called me the day before and told me that this would be available from their end. Very welcome news. We arrived and found the place very easily. Parking is available above or below ground, for 14 Euros a day (we parked overnight...

A 15-20 min walk to the city center (e.g. the cathedral). Parking slot available and priced 14 EUR per night. Somewhat rude reception staff - two guys talking to each other barely noticing us. Inefficient service at breakfast - it takes ages before a table is prepared for the next guests. Will be looking for some other venue while in Salzburg next time.

The accommodations were very nice. The double bed was actually a double bed [not two singles pushed together] and it had a decent mattress. The breakfast food was very good [buffet] and the staff was friendly. No dining other than breakfast, but they do have a bar.

Is ok, but we did not like the design of the room and it is not comfortable to watch TV, not good position, also they clean your room but only if you ask, otherswise not, what is the reason not to clean if inside the hotel is 3G rules????? Also is far from the city.

This city has been on my bucket list forever thanks to my childhood memories of the movie - The Sound of Music. Did the SOM tour. Brought back great memories. Austria is a stunningly beautiful country.

The hotel was clean and the service was good. It has a small wellness area with a dry and a vapor sauna as well as a Terrasse. My only complain is that also during hot months you get thick blankets, so if you can't stand sleeping with the air conditioner on, you will be a bit warm.

Nice few from the hotel room, because of the big window. Everything was tidy and there's a TV and a miniature water boiler there. That there is a bathtub is nice and I could take a hot bath after a long journey. The people are nice and I woukd come back.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Holiday Inn in Salzburg. The management and staff were professional and friendly. The breakfasts were great with custom prepared omelets available in addition to a wide variety of other food options. The room was comfortable and the air conditioning after a hot day touring the city was fantastic. Would definitely stay again.

Front desk was excellent. Our room was very nice. The club lounge on our floor was clean and we love all the drink options including all the Red Bull flavors. Good location about 5 minutes from the main train station by walking. Right next to Spar express (small supermarket attached to a shell gas station) which is convenient. Very courteous and helpful staff with apples and cookies at the front desk 24/7. Need to log in free WiFi a few times a day but great speed.

Stayed on the first floor, room lovely and spacious. Very quiet. Shower was big and really hot. Only criticism would be that the beds are quite hard and the pillows very soft. Lovely hotel but very difficult to get to. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown, and it was a hit annoying that it was impossible to separate the beds from one another. But you cannot beat the very central location of this hotel, as most of Salzburg is reachable on foot. The concierge was very helpful and knowledgeable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Goldenes Theater Hotel in Salzburg. The room was large enough for our needs and the bathroom also had plenty of room. The only thing I can't get used to is the bedding. My husband thought the breakfast was the best he has had on this trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, nice staff, cozy sitting area outside the main door/ bar. Had a room with a shared bathroom and shower, but it was completely fine. Never happened that I had to wait in a line. We stayed in a number of Gasthofs during our trip and this was the nicest. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The pool and sauna were gorgeous and clean and well-serviced. It even had an elevator to take your luggage upstairs! Gorgeous views of the mountains from our room and very convenient to get to Salzburg.

Driving out of busy Salzburg up into the hills above to the Gersberg Alm we were greeted by a beautiful chalet with flowers, trees, & pastures. They have a full restaurant so we had a light lunch. They view down to Salzburg was so nice that we just stayed up in the hills rather than walk the city. Its only a short 10 minute drive to the city and you will do best with your own car. Very nice secluded Hotel. We stayed for a weekend to hike and explore the areas around Fuschlsee and Mondsee. We really loved the stay. It’s pricey but worth the money. Nice small spa area and pool in the hotel. Gourmet style restaurant, great food. Very kind service from all staff. Clear recommendation for spending some time for a special occasion or as a base to explore Salzburg.
