Location was close to the railway station. A bit further from the old town, but a great location for trams/buses to go into town. Room was a very good size with carpet that gave a cosy feel. Decent amenities and quiet room in general.

The hotel is conveniently located beside Salzburg Hbf, it takes only a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist can speak proper English and is cheerful and friendly. The hotel is modern and clean. They provide luggage storage too.

Good points: very near train station. Mini bar is replenish everyday. View from room bar is nice. Bad points : blanket is dirty with hairs when we checked in. Don't think they changed the blanket and bedsheets. The room is full of dust, even on the tables and desk beside the bed. Some of the staff have attitude problem, not friendly. Body shower is not refilled when finish.

Nearby Salzburg hpf making it convenient to travel within and inter city. All items in the fridge is complimentary. Breakfast at the top floor with amazing view.

We paid for a superior room. The photo for that room category shows one bed and a pull out couch. That is why we paid for that category. Upon arrival, we were told there was only one bed and that the photo was incorrect. We were told there was nothing we could do. It was false advertising. The photo still shows the pull out couch in that room category.

Rooms were clean and comfortable for 3 adults. Beautiful view of the mountains from the balcony. Breakfast was sufficient for vegetarians. Its definitely a good place to stay in Salzburg on a budget. If you take a taxi to the city its only 11 euros which is very reasonable.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Lilienhof. The room was basic but clean, comfortable and spacious. Hotel staff was helpful - we forgot a toothbrush and they very kindly provided one. Despite not centrally located, the hotel comes with free parking and is a short drive away from the city and airport.
