Where to stay in Salzburg

Location was close to the railway station. A bit further from the old town, but a great location for trams/buses to go into town. Room was a very good size with carpet that gave a cosy feel. Decent amenities and quiet room in general.

Salzburg is beautiful and this hotel is clean and spacious. But at $300 SGD per night without breakfast thrown in, I do expect much more. But everything is very basic

I visited this place as part of a Cosmos Tour. The rooms were comfortable and large, although the bath was a little dated. My only complaint with this hotel was the un-stocked mini-bar in the room. The hotel is conveniently located beside Salzburg Hbf, it takes only a few minutes to walk there. The receptionist can speak proper English and is cheerful and friendly. The hotel is modern and clean. They provide luggage storage too.

Good points: very near train station. Mini bar is replenish everyday. View from room bar is nice. Bad points : blanket is dirty with hairs when we checked in. The apartment is located in a convenient location. The rooms rented were well equiped and spacious. The hotel had a good spread for the breakfast buffet and the staff were very friendly. They even helped us order last minute late night pizzas. Recommended for stay :)

The rooms are small but clean. We got a standard room with a double bed. TV is small and has Austrian channels so no English channels but that's to be expected. We paid for a superior room. The photo for that room category shows one bed and a pull out couch. That is why we paid for that category. Upon arrival, we were told there was only one bed and that the photo was incorrect. We were told there was nothing we could do. It was false advertising.
