Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, an IHG Hotel

I paid around d 300$ per night for room but guess what there was no concierge service available. Literally I had to move all my luggage 5-6bags by myself. Very disappointing. Anyway reception staff was good, room was good and even breakfast nice.

We have been allocated to room 1702 - which is linked with room 1701 (a family room?) with a door in between. There was an infant stayed there and was crying very often during the night. We have been woken up quite a few times in the night which was not a pleasant experience. The hotel staff should be more considerate that for a family room the soundproof wasn't great as there was a door between two rooms, they should avoid giving out the other rooms unless its necessary. I've spoken to the checkout staff the next morning, and he didn't offer any help unfortunately. This was the 3rd time we've stayed at Crowne this year but it will be the last time we stayed with Crowne GC for sure, the service was simply not good enough.
