Excellent one bedroom apartment in perfect location. short stroll to beach and restaurants, supermarkets and Bottle shop within a very short distance. We had a partial water view we didn’t have a car and this wasn’t a problem.

Had a 2 bedroom suite in tower 2. Ocean view which was beautiful but obviously not as close as tower 1. Room was spacious and beds really comfortable. Staff also lovely to deal with. Downside - the sofas were dirty and needed a good clean. Also wifi was not included and really expensive. Lastly, our floor had a horrible smell in the corridor - like the rubbish had backed up. Was fine in the room but...

Amazing location. Very close to all you need. Walking distance to the beach, amazing cafes restaurants and amenities all within walking distance. The rooms are excellently maintained, service provided by all staff are flawless. This location has a pool and fitness centre. Want to take your breath away, rent a beach view.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here but strongly recommend booking for dinner well in advance if you're wanting to eat within the hotel. We needed urgent accomodation after we had to vacate another hotel during our holiday and we found a good last minute deal at The Star Grand. Came here for a work conference and the facilities and staff were fantastic. Great multi use spaces for conferences. Our conference was 600 people, but it could have probably handled even more. Staff were wonderful, nice and green. Enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and tidy, room staff were incredible. I'd return in a heartbeat.

Went to High Tea on Sunday and I can't speak highly enough of the service from when you arrive to when you leave. The food was delicious with a good variety of savoury and sweet treats. Array of teas to choose from, or a plunger of coffee if you prefer. The ladies running the place were all very friendly and professional. Will definitely be going back.

I felt like I was at home, first hotel I’ve even stayed at where it had everything I needed and it was super comfy and cosy. From the TV being strategically placed directly in from on bed, to having a Dyson hairdryer and Kevin Murphy shampoo. Too comfy robes and a great swimming pool. I really loved my stay!

This is my second stay, the first time while at a work event nearby and this time for a few days with family. The hotel is starting to show signs of its age and needs some love. The rooms are a good size and most of the staff are delightful. The room service meals were poor and I’d recommend dining elsewhere as the on site restaurants aren’t great either, plenty of good places not too far away though...

Such a beautiful restaurant to eat at! The food is average, oysters and crab meat is small but still nice enough to enjoy. And the environment of the restaurant is 10/10. My husband & I just spent a week here & the resort didn’t disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were so well looked after. Doors opened, cabs called, filtered still or sparkling water on tap. A beautiful hotel and complex. The service was exceptional. The food is the restaurants was great and varied. The rooms are well appointed and the amount of marble and detail throughout the whole hotel is gorgeous. The rolls Royce is a delightful treat where you can be chauffeur driven around the Gold Coast and can choose to have champagne too if you like.

Agree with refurbish comments but still looking good. Stayed 5 nights with kids and they had lots of fun at the pool. The twin bed room was bigger than similar hotels and kids really enjoyed the evening chocolates! Housekeeping needs to keep up with the 5 star hotel. Once they came very late and the other day forgot to put a shampoo! Breakfast is good but nothing really stands out.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Deluxe guest room, lagoon view with a balcony. We loved the breathtaking ocean views at the balcony. The hotel lobby and pool area were very enjoyable, even though the room itself is a bit outdated. This is one of the best apartment hotel in gold coast. The location is indeed in the most visited area of surfers paradise. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment, both facing to the ocean. The kitchen was fully equipped, it felt like home. We cooked everyday during our stay. Very recommended accomodation in gold coast.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom ocean view. Family of 4. Nice apartment, but would rate just under 4 star. Looks like glitz and glamour on exterior and foyers but not anywhere a 5 star rate. Room 7 out of 10. Service was good. Car parking good. This place will live somewhat off there proximity to surfers paradise main location and such an impressive tall building.
