Where to stay in Govedartsi

Beautiful log cabins and stunning views. Really unique place in the mountains of Bulgaria and highly recommended if you want to spend quality time hiking or skiing. Nothing is amiss - from a fully stocked kitchen to Netflix in every room, you can't go wrong in this perfect place. Will come back again, thanks!

Beautiful log chalets with stunning views. The accommodation is very cosy and in typical finish style. The chalet has everything you need. The manager Lili was really welcoming and made our stay very comfortable. Highly recommend and we will be back as we loved it.

Absolutely loved our stay here! The villas are spacious, modern and clean. The view is amazing. Very peaceful location with lots of privacy. It is also a great starting point for exploring the Rila mountains. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

Very cozy family hotel - the rooms and the common areas are very warm in the winter which we appreciate a lot. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. We are going to visit it frequently :)

A modern, clean hotel set at the edge of Govedartsi. There are beautiful mountain views from the balcony. The hosts are very welcoming, accomodating and friendly. They speak perfect English and were happy to make lunch packs for our day walks. The food was delicious traditional bulgarian dishes and a large buffet continental breakfast was provided. The location of the hotel is exceptional and very convenient. Travel time from Sofia is less than 90 min and it's great that there is onsite parking. The temperature in the hotel and the room was perfect to get warm and feel cozy. The food was delicious.

Very good cuisine. Dinner was excellent. Waitress was very polite and caring. They even cooked out of the menu for our vegetarian friends. Region is known for its tasty potatoes and definitely you can find them there. Owner of the hotel came personally to ask and make sure we are satisfied with our stay.

The place is great, always warm and welcoming. Owners always make you feel at home, there is no too small or too big request for them.

The house is located on the main street in the village. It is convenient to stay there if you are going to climb Malyovitsa. The room is small but clean. Advel Guest House is located in Madzhare village, which makes it ideal location to enjoy both calm mountain and ski slopes of Borovets, Malyovitsa and Govedartsi. It's not exactly a hotel I would define it as a B&B The mattress is used with springs and not good, in the shower there is no curtain and the water shower does not splash everywhere, breakfast is not bad but mediocre staff creates a family atmosphere and pleasant dining rooms neat and cozy clean and tidy

Exceptionally friendly and warm attitude from the owners. The house itself offers a very good value for its money. It has a garden and you can take advantage of the barbecue outside. Everything is clean and well kept. I strongly recommend!

The hosts are very friendly and they create a pleasant and comfortable notion and space for communication. The place is vidy and clean and cosy. The location is very good as a starting point for lots of trips. And you can get invaluable advise and guidance from the hosts for beautiful places to visit nearby. Fantastic place with extraordinary kind and welcoming hosts. We had perfect time (3 nights) and the hosts were very friendly. They showed great understanding and support as we were travelling with a 2 y.o. toddler and a 3 y.o. Sheppard dog. I would recommend to take breakfast and dinner at the place. Everything was very clean and cosy. Good WiFi as well.

We had a very pleasant stay here to go hiking. Just keep in mind that you are staying at a family run guesthouse (some of the other reviews seem to be expecting a hotel...!). Personally I preferred it in many ways to the hotels I've stayed at in Bulgaria. For a start the owners were friendly and check-in was very easy. The breakfast was good, I particularly enjoyed an omelette made from fresh eggs...

Nice and spacious apartment with big rooms close to a pretty river and a beautiful landscape. Staff was friendly and helpful. The location is quiet and pleasant.

Grandpa Gosho is a very polite guardian. The apartments are nice, but they need a refreshing activity.
