Auberge Saint-Paul - Hostel
Montreal, Rue Saint-Paul Est; 347 🧭 Map
Good for several nights. I stayed in the mixed dormitory. Because of the club or bar right under the hostel, it was pretty noisy at night. If you want quiet place, you should find anther place. Other things were perfect such as breakfast. Oops. There is no blow dryer! And extra blanket will be needed.
I stayed here for five weeks and I loved it!
Great location in the old port, the common area is beautiful and features a TV, lounge, plenty of room to sit and a kitchen (which can get crowded at some times during the day).
The whole building seems to be newly renovated, the showers and toilets are clean, as is the rest of the place.
Free breakfast in the morning, often there is enough coffee for the...
Really clean and nice, helpful staff. Breakfast was simple but appreciated. Definitely a party hostel, so if you want to go to bed before 2am I would look elsewhere. I was on the top floor, the bottom would have been much quieter, so request that if you want quiet.
Really nice atmosphere and chill staff. The architecture and decoration is an extra for your eyes.
Rooms are a bit cold (so maybe you want to bring some thick clothes) but beyond that it was all good. location and cleanliness of the place were good.
Clean and nice! I totally recommend it!

Auberge St. Jacques
Montreal, 6120 St-Jacques Street 🧭 Map
The room was clean and everything was in good condition. The beds were good. Good Wi-Fi. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location is close to two highways.
Our room was on the second floor even though we were a family of four including two infants. It was very difficult for us to get to our room every time we went out. Also, our room didn’t have a closet. We only had some small kitchen cabinets which were not very convenient to use. Overall, we liked the hotel as it was very clean and well-located. The staff were very friendly as well.
Fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was very large and had a fully functioning TV and a huge bathroom. Only fault was the beds were probably on their way to the trash very soon but were comfortable all the same 😅
Front counter staff was very friendly and had no faults.
You get what you pay for and more with this one. Would highly recommend.
It was a lovely staying! The hotel is super clean, rooms are modern and nicely decorated. Also, they provide hairdryer, flat iron, kettle. Staff very friendly and helpful. A fridge, TV and air-condition are in each room. The area is good, and public transport is right at the corner. I highly recommend this place for a long vacation or an overnight staying.
Smell special but really comfy bed. My coworker had a weedsmell in his room and people screaming under his room... But you know Montreal
Very nice staff and very clean room. The room was way better then I'd expect for a 2 star. Very good value for the price. Definitely would recommend.

Auberge Manoir Ville Marie
Montreal, 3130 Rue Sainte-catherine E 🧭 Map
I visited friends at this hotel and was so happy I'd decided to stay elsewhere. The rooms were clean and decently sized, but the smoke detector was missing, the walls were painted different colors, and the whole place looked sad and rundown. The neighborhood isn't stellar but it's close to the Biodome, Olympic park, Planetarium, etc, so it could be a good launch point for people looking to visit those...
Friendly and helpful staff!
The room we stayed in was a bit bland but we only washed up and slept there, so it wasn't a letdown but worth mentioning.
The location is a bit unfortunate, 15m walk from the nearest Metro through an industrial area of town. Bus did stop right in front of it which was a great thing!
Late night arrival is a bit spooky, walking through the area was only possible before...
The owner ( nice lady).she let me earlier in my room. I had a 8 hours drive behind me and was tired she was very friendly. The rooms are small but perfect for me I don't need any luxury. The rooms was mostly clean .the hotel self needs a few update. To make it more interesting for other customers. the location area looks not very safe and clean that is the reason why the hotel needs a few updates inside...
Second time staying in the Getaway Romance Suite. Love the owners, love the hotel. Location is a short drive in any direction to anything. Great value!
Very artistic and cute hotel. Prices are amazing. You get way more than what you pay for.
We will definitely be back! Rooms were clean and had high ceilings. Family run business, amazing friendly staff. Breakfast was very basic, don't expect more than some pastries and cereal. Just an honest, clean and friendly place we highly recommend a long as you aren't looking for frills or fancy. Reminded us of a hostel for families as the travelers were all friendly.
The hotel's location is ideal, situated close to major attractions and public transportation. The breakfast was good enough. The room was big, clean and well equipped. So clean I recently stayed at Auberge Manoir Ville Marie and had an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The room was big, clean and well equipped

The place is really nice. The complex is clean and stylish and on a quiet street. The beds are quite private even in a shared dorm. The staff that greeted me, Nicolas, Emma and Anai were all really friendly and helpful
Truly awesome hostel. The beds are comfy and have plenty of privacy. Large storage for luggage in the rooms under the beds. Bathroom is well-maintained. The rooftop is really awesome. I watched the sunset there twice. It’s in an awesome part of town that is a short walk from fun restaurants, cafes, and the metro.
This was a super fun hostel! In a great location near the metro and lots of fun bars down St Catherine Street. The shared rooms and bathroom was clean and got room serviced everyday. The bunks had lots of storage space and privacy.
Mike at the front desk was so nice and helpful. He was always very attentive to our needs and open to giving recommendations as well as making us feel comfortable during...
This was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at. The rooms were very clean and modern looking. The bathroom was like 4 star hotel level accommodation. There was even a small kitchen in our 10 person dorm room. The privacy curtains at each bunk were great and really let me continue to get rest even when other people were about their business. Great hostel. I would definitely stay here again!
I had a wonderful time staying at M Montréal this summer! I was traveling solo outside of the U.S. for the very first time so I was a little nervous, and this hostel was very affordable, comfortable, and safe. I stayed in the largest communal room they had (14 people) and the beds still afforded plenty of privacy with their own curtains and storage areas. No noise issues either! The clerks at the counter...
The property was really good! the bunks were great for the money.

Auberge de la Place Royale
Montreal, 115 Rue de la Commune West 🧭 Map
The room was very clean and quaint and the owner was there to greet us when we arrived and was very nice. The room was spacious but we were in a room with an open concept bathroom, which was a little odd but we made do. The location is fantastic. We were so close to so many great restaurants and shops. The feel is very Old Montreal and felt more like an Air BnB than a hotel.
I think the most challenging...
Great place in an excellent location! Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and spacious. The only things folks may want to be aware of is there are lots of stairs (we stayed on the top floor) and there can be some noise from the neighborhood at night. But for the price point it is an exceptional value!
Cute and quaint, with huge, beautifully decorated rooms, right on the river. The staff were very friendly and welcoming; the hotel had a wonderful family feel to it. We will definitely be back. Be aware though that there is no lift, so be ready to climb the stairs.
Great location and very reasonably priced. The chain hotels in the area will not give you the charm that this place has. No parking on site, but there is parking across the street. No breakfast but coffee and tea are available in every room, as well as a toaster oven, dishes and cutlery. It would be nice to see them include coffee whitener as well. Free WiFi throughout but there are only 3 TV...
The rooms are big, clean and beautifuly decorated. There is no reception on site but they are offering reception services through the phone 24h. Very close to lots or restaurants, old port, museums a/o. We will definitely return here as the place e is wonderful!

VERY NICE HOTEL - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Me and wife stayed here for more than a week. The Room, location, price and Service were really good.
The Manager, Mr Kevin was a very nice Host and managed everything well.
Owner is a sweet lady and very nice as well.
Great location. bed was had too small sheets and kept coming off. Our room was never cleaned, we asked for new sheets and towels and they were stained. Staff is really nice. breakfast was nice: Hard boiled egg, waffles, cereals, cookies.
Highly recommended! Very polite and bi-lingual staff, clean comfortable rooms and delicious continental breakfast. Located in an AWESOME area of Montreal for exploring, seeing tons of beautiful public art and murals, eating incredible food and drinking - all right outside the Hotel Auberge front door!!
I had an amazing stay. The staff there are so welcoming, great breakfast and really cozy rooms
They say location is what makes a location, and this hotel is located perfectly. Walking distance from good food, easy access to transit, good priced rooms, and nice staff. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I were in Montreal on my own. Crêpes for breakfast every day was a highlight.
My significant other and I went to stay for four nights and five days for a trip in Montreal. The service was friendly and the breakfasts were great. The rooms were clean and had the necesities, Although the floors were a bit sticky and the room smelled somewhat of cleaning products. We recommend bringing slippers. The location was fantastic, right in the Latin quarter of old Montreal and very close...

It was very nice .. they are so kind and friendly. I unfortunately missed the breakfast but I could smell it and it smelled so good. The beds are not bad either .. after dancing my life away .. getting back to the place and sleeping was the only thing I wanted !! Definitely staying here when I go to Montreal
I had an incredible time at the Auberge. I showed up without a reservation, but the host welcomed me without hesitation. The place is super funky with a fully equipped kitchen for guests to use. There are musical instruments available to use as well. The other guests were fun to connect with. I can’t wait to visit again!
I'm so happy I found this place, the atmosphere is amazing, people around very friendly and the host, Boris is a life saver. Do not hesitate to come and stay here, you will not regret at all.
Ive stayed here now 3 times. Its super chill, they gave my friends and i a nicer room for just us even though we paid for the 8 bunk room. I never feel unsafe or that my belongings could be taken, great place if youre out late downtown. We came in at 3am no problem and left at 2pm. Amazing as always
This is by far the coolest hostel I have ever been to. The staff are absolutely wonderful and charismatic. There are so many different places to sleep, we slept in one of the private rooms which is a cool hippy van! 5 stars isn't enough to share how awesome this place is.
Simple, affordable, close to our destinations.

Montreal, 1301 rue Rachel Est 🧭 Map
It does not look like a hotel but it's a mini hotel amongst a residential area. It's an older building with some character. I would not say the people r extremely friendly. We couldn't get hot water and we asked and the man that came to check couldn't fix our problem and told us we would have to wait til monday. Our stay was only til sunday. So service was not totally the best. People didn't seem...
I stayed for a month and a half while studying. Affordable during low season. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds are comfortable. The TV box has a lot to watch if you want to spend a day inside. When you want to go out there are many shops nearby, especially on mont royal avenue. Bixi right in front. When walking down the street you can see in the distance...
Nice hotel in a beautiful area of Montreal. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was as great as possible. The staff I interacted with were all very polite and they were attentive. If I come back to Montreal, this will be where I stay.
Pretty nice and comfortable to stay in. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean enough. They offer tea and coffee in the kitchen for free. I will come again when I visited Montreal next time.
We had a two night romantic getaway and stayed in the suite with the big patio. Location exceptional with good restaurants nearby and the park across the street. Good breakfast, very good coffee (available all day!). We loved this stay and would come again.
Croissants and coffee very good, breakfast overall very good. Breakfast goes until 10:30, so you can sleep in without missing it.
Room was large and clean and bed very comfortable. Location is across from lovely park and is very quiet at night. Bike lane is right outside, and there are coffee shops close by.
