Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth
Montreal, 900 Rene Levesque Boulevard ouest 🧭 Map
Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms. Housekeeping is awesome. Even when I did not need my room cleaned, Deanne did small things to make my stay more comfortable and she was very pleasant to talk with. I was there during a conference so the elevators were very slow. I also had a hard time getting my room to cool off. It was much too warm.
My stay was fabulous! Elijah was such a great help the week that I was there. He provided a warm welcome and check-in and was my go to for the week along with Juliette at concierge. Juliette gave me fabulous recommendations for places to get my nails done and amazing brunch places. Elijah recommended fantastic restaurants in the hotel and close proximity. They both even went above and beyond to make...
The hotel is nice and it was a good experience. You can go from your floor to the train station just by the elevator directly as the station is in the bottom of the hotel which is great! They offer nice lounge with breakfast, evening tea and then dessert. So 3 trips to the lounge. Their each staff member is very friendly and helpful. The location is amazing of this hotel as you can walk to the all...
Good not great. We had an upgraded room to a junior suite. Initial room with two double beds was tiny. Upgraded room the bathroom was still tight. Pool was great, nice temperature. Small hot tub. Buffet at Roselys is a good value with good quality food if you go with buffet option. Location of hotel great.
I stayed in this hotel for a work conference and the room was great. King size bed on the 6th floor, was a comfy bed. Bathroom was a little small but otherwise a good room. The service at the hotel was great. They were really accommodating for our very large group. I didn't have a great view from my room but a number of my colleagues did. I would stay here again.
My experience at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth was absolutely top notch. Located right in the heart of downtown Montreal, this hotel was perfect from the start. The rooms were extremely clean and well appointed, the staff was so pleasant and helpful with everything, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I will definitely be back.

The room was stunning, beautiful designer-feeling touches, modern fixtures, great integrated entertainment. The bed was so comfortable and the automatic blinds great for keeping the room dark. The communal areas were immaculately kept and the staff were super helpful - they were happy for us to leave our bags for a while on our departure day. Location wise we were able to walk everywhere, it was perfect
This was our first time in Montreal as we were attending a convention. We chose this location as it looked very nice and it was extremely close to the congress center. We were disappointed by the actual size of the rooms, as they appear much bigger in the photos. We also encountered some issues with the cleanliness of the room. The sheets had orange stains on them, and the pillows had brown dirt/dust...
Shared a room here for Otakuthon 2023 and it was great, probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's right next to the convention center (and therefore the metro), cleanliness is top notch and the everything is very modern feeling. The room is smaller than what you'd usually expect in a hotel but I don't feel it was cramped with two people. The space is used very efficiently. Shower pressure...
This hotel is well situated and the valet service is awesome. You know your car is safe. The cleaning service however still needs some Improvement. Our used towels were not Changed for the first two days we stayed and were left hanging wet on the hook. We stayed for 3 nights and the shower gel Was not refilled at all. We had to use the soap given to wash our hands near the sink as we had no more shower...
Great experience! Nice and clean room, although on the smaller side. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The valet parking was easy. Great location! Close to everything! We didn't use the restaurant or the bar, but it looked nice from the outside. Really enjoyed our stay!
Dean at the front desk made our stay pleasant. I truly believe in the first encounter, it gives a sense of the vibe a certain place has. Dean was very welcoming and friendly upon checking in and checking out. It is because of him and the cleaning staff that this place is 5 stars in my books. The location is decent as well. Valet parking is $35 .

I had a great stay here. Rooms are spacious and staff helpful and professional. The area is very "downtown", just like any business district: lots of concrete, not that much greenery. Useful if you're there doing business. And makes you appreciate the hotel gardens and waterfalls even more!
The room was spacious and clean, good service overall. Excellent food and drinks at the restaurant! The one BIG downside of this hotel-the staff are not overseeing the pool/hot tub area, so people were packed in the hot tub and never got out. They also had 4 toddlers in there. Not cool!
Great spot to stay in Montreal! The hotel has such a cool vibe with the pool and greenery on the roof. My boyfriend lost his clear framed glasses in the pool in the last 10 minutes of the night and we couldn't find them - the lifeguard was helping and messaged us the next day when he found them himself! I am definitely planning on coming back in the summer time.
The hotel is beautiful, the amenities excellent. It's clean and modern. The staff are very helpful as well. My only complaint is that our room was not sound proofed and we heard people in the hall too well. It was as if the walls and door were paper thin. That is my only complaint for an otherwise amazing hotel.
This is a gem of a spot. Great location! Close to shopping, train station and family activities. The service is above and beyond. I have stayed multiple times in the last 5 years and see the same staff. The restaurant servers were great at accommodating kids too. Pool was clean and temperature was great for outdoor swimming in March. Hot tub was big and full, but looks like they are adding another...
I've stayed in several hotels in Montreal and never knew this hotel was there. It came up on a booking site so I thought I would try it. The customers service was great. The location was excellent. The food was good with an excellent bar. The heated pool was a great surprise. I love this place and will always stay here every time I visit Montreal. The price is reasonable and worth the value big time...

The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel was conveniently located in the city. The room was clean and a fairly good size.
Stayed here for F1. Rates were reasonable for the busiest weekend of the year. Room was nice, bed comfortable, hotel bar was good and got a great night’s sleep. Location is less than 10 min walk to subway station and we were back at hotel after F1 race on Sunday within 40 mins. Incredible. They also had a free shuttle van taking people to the subway if needed. Would definitely do this again.
This was our first time staying here and we were pleasantly surprised! The rooms are in good condition and the beds are comfy. There’s an indoor heated pool, which we enjoyed. (There’s also an outdoor pool, but we didn’t use it.) The Front Desk staff and bartender were very kind! They also offer a shuttle service within a 3km radius, which was very quick for us. I wouldn’t recommend dining in the restaurant...
Good place. Comfortable room. Enjoyed the pool, but it was weirdly warm. We stayed away from the restaurant, too many bad reviews. Instead we walked to Cora's. Convenient proximity to the Biodome, Botanical gardens, and the metro too. Parking was very convenient. Area was busy for driving but we knew that going in.
The rooms were clean and recently refurbished. Bathrooms are great, with nicely tiled, walk-in shower. Beds were very comfortable and felt new, as did the pillows. Unfortunately the windows don't open but the AC worked fine. Everyone was helpful and friendly including the man who worked in the little convenience shop. Ate a light dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
Well situated, free parking, old building but renovated bathroom. Noisy, sounds pass right through the door so your comfort might depends on the other guests. Beds are firm but slept well. There is a restaurant, but I didn't eat there. Breakfast was not included but there is a IGA grocery store very close by.

Had a great three-night stay here. Service and location were perfect - within walking distance of Mount Royal and Old Montreal and right next to a metro station for easy access to other neighborhoods. Minus one star for the poor elevator situation. Three tiny elevators that hold max 5 people (fewer with luggage) for 20+ floors, so was an endless wait going to and from room. Additionally, the entire...
Stayed three nights. Perfectly situated across from Metro and just down the street from McGill University and the Underground City. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Room was excellent. Standup shower was roomy with great water pressure. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The breakfast staff were friendly and very efficient. I will definitely stay here again.
I had a great experience at the hotel. It's really, really clean. Well maintained. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. Great location. One comment, the hotel is in perfect condition, but I don't understand the chairs situation. They need to be refurbished.
What a great stay. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Always welcomed us coming back for our days adventures. Room was comfy and clean. Always cleaned before we got back. A really great stay overall. Breakfast was tasty too. The cafe staff were very welcoming at 630am. Only drawback would be the small elevators that were a bit slow, but you get used to it and since we were...
It's a residence...nothing too exciting to mention. Rooms are "meh" but not bad. Housekeeping didn't make my bed or actually clean when they came in. Only emptied the sink. That was the big miss that I had
The best place to stay in Montreal for a short or long stay. In the heart of downtown Montreal, accessible by metro and bus. Near to Rue St Catherine where the shopping centers, restaurants, cinema and arcades. The room is spacious, with a kitchenette where you can cook quick and easy meals. Breakfast is included, too. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. Will definitely go back here.

Alwaya my go to place when staying in Montreal. Love the location; easy for me to get to work. Quick access to the metro, cocktail hour is cool, great breakfast, great staff!
Really friendly staff. Great breakfast. Finding the parking was a bit tricky for someone who isn’t from the city. Could use more signs. Very close to the Metro! Super convenient location to explore Montreal. My room was massive. Took off one star because the bedding was quite thin and my room was cold even with the heat on max. Despite that the bed was very comfortable, and no bed bugs!
Positives: - Free breakfast with made to order option. - Free happy hour drinks and chips every evening. - Great location. Situation between Old Port, downtown and Chinatown. - Decent sized rooms Negatives: - Decors are very outdated. Furnitures really show ages. - Smallish bed. Double beds felt smaller than regular full size. - Our room wasn't cleaned very well. When we first arrived, we had...
I enjoyed my short stay at Embassy Suites Montreal. The staff was amazing, the food was very delicious especially the vast variety of choices for breakfast. The room was large and comfortable. I even had a fireplace and jacuzzi in the room. The gym was convenient. I will definitely go back when next I visit Montreal. Thanks to Bernard in the breakfast room and everyone who made my stay comfortable
Nice hotel with good location close to subway station, downtown and historic centre. Room was quiet and clean, bathtub was perfect, bed as well. I slept really good. Breakfast is not bad, but nothing special. I like the bar at the corner with funny bartender. Evening reception is nice plus, but nothing extra.
Great location & free breakfast and happy hour was great. Room was spacious. Only issue was on the service end. Arrived with no towels in room which was a. It odd. (4pm). Called and said they would bring them. Went out for evening back at 10pm. No towels. Called and they brought 1 (for 4 people) and I said we needed a few more. The gal said she would “be right back”. I had to book here last minute after getting stranded by another hotel in the middle of the night. Travelodge was they only hotel that didn't have a set check-in time. I was grateful to have been able to stay here in that instance, but I probably wouldn't choose to stay here on purpose. The room I booked (a queen, I believe) was SUPER TINY and had none of the basic amenities I'd expect from a hotel...
Great location with good options for large or small groups. Its proximity to downtown makes it pretty easy to navigate from. It's on a main avenue/boulevard so cabs and ubers are easily accessible. Rooms are pretty decent. They look clean and have all the things you would want for a short stay. We had a small room with 2 bunk beds. It was a bit small, maybe too small for 4 people but it was fun....
Good place to stay. Rooms were clean, the service was good, and the nightly price was great. This hotel is right across the street from a shopping center and a grocery store, which was super convenient to walk over to.
Great Service, My room was clean, the property was clean and well kept. Absolutely Fantastic location. My only complaint was/is that the size of the room I booked wasn't represented well in the ad on their website. I booked a room with 2 double beds. I got a room with 2 double beds. That said this was the smallest hotel room I have ever had in North America. My feet were quite literally at the door...
Excellent staff and a quick check-in counter! Check-out is possible at any hour, which is helpful if you're coming in at an odd hour. The rooms are on the smaller side, but very cleanly kept and quiet. My room came with a desk, small fridge, and two beds (had to pay extra for a queen bed). Biggest perk is the fact that the hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Montreal; Chinatown and the...
The hotel was just right for me. Centrally located with underground parking, I couldn't ask for more. Check in was quick and easy and staff were very polite and professional. The room and location were perfect for us. The breakfast was perfect for what we needed to start the day.
Very large family suite, reasonable price for the size and location. Nice but not so fancy a regular person feels uncomfortable, great views from the rooftop pool and gym. Valet parking, very dog friendly. My only complaint is that they don't have wheelchair accessible rooms at the lower prices in the non-suite options so we had to pay more for the family suite. The bathroom was large and nicely accessible...
Room was great. Had little kitchen (with an oven). Bug sell for me was gym. Normal size for hotel but good variety of machines and all in working order. Only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the bathroom, created yellow hue when getting ready. Also served continental breakfast. And perfect location for me.
This is a great hotel in a not-so-great location for tourists. If you are on business travel, this place is perfect with a decent gym and great kitchen, dining and work areas. For tourists, you really need to take public transportation out of the city or walk to the old town for more interesting walking and dining experiences.
Large, comfortable, and quiet room, good bed. Kitchenette available if want to self-cater, but many eating options nearby. Very good breakfast, though no hot foods. Could not set room temperature below 21.5C - warmer than we like for sleeping. Pleasant staff. Great location. Would return.
We had a great experience here. Rooms were clean and spacious. The front desk and valet were all very friendly and helpful. The rooftop balcony has nice views and is a great place to unwind on the property. My only regret is that we didn't get to try the (unaffiliated) restaurant downstairs. If you are staying here and want to eat there, make sure to make a reservation.

Hotel room is nice, but watch out for weather. If heavy rain, this hotel will be flood with water. Your car will be a total lost and ruin your vacation. We are event presenters, and had a conference here. That very same night that there was a massive flood at the hotel due to crazy weather and city water pipe issues. The staff was incredible, solicitous and cool under pressure. This is when you really see the measure of an organization! And our event was beautiful, and the rooms were excellent.
The staff here does not like Americans. So mean and grumpy. But rooms are very nice and comfortable. I understand that I don't speak French but damn.... I still love the holiday inn.
Easy access to all things family visit related and to the highway. I didn't have any issues with parking or getting in or out of the area. The staff was excellent, and the service was exemplary. The hotel was centrally located between 5 family members and their homes; the location made this trip a breeze.
Handy location. Clean rooms, comfortable bed. Very good, but simple breakfast. Serving staff were wonderful! Couldn't open windows in room. Pool and hot tub out of order the whole week we were there.
Overall great hotel. The room is what you can expect of a 3-star hotel. It was pretty clean. The thing about the room is that the AC is a little loud. The beds were clean and comfy. The service is good, IHG has great service policy. The location of the hotel is good, beside the Sheraton and the Carrefour Laval. Overall I am very happy with my stay. Aya, James, Stephanie, Karina, Manuel and Yvon were all pleasant to deal with and talk to and worked quickly to try to resolve issues. I like that the hotel has made an effort to keep their most frequent members happy. They were quick to acknowledge a mistake and compensate for it. I leave the hotel with a very positive impression and look forward to coming back
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Hotel, and I must commend their commitment to cleanliness – the hotel is always impeccably clean. However, it's worth noting that while the rooms are comfortable, the style feels a bit dated. Nonetheless, the welcoming atmosphere and cleanliness make it a solid choice for a comfortable stay.
The Sheraton Hotel truly stands out following its recent renovations. The transformation has infused the hotel with a fresh, modern elegance, elevating the entire guest experience. From the luxurious lobby to the updated guest rooms, every aspect of the hotel now reflects a refined sophistication. The attention to detail and the enhancements in comfort and style are immediately noticeable, making...
We had our Christmas party at this hotel, and it was really enjoyable. The buffet offered a variety of delicious options. Such a great experience at this hotel, staff are so accommodating and sweet. ( especially with our children) Francoise the manager from the restaurant downstairs really topped off our stay by providing the best service. The hotel has gone some renovations and has a fresh feel all over the place. It is ideally located and offers good service. The gym is well equipped and the hotel offers free parking. The prices have increased tremendously but this is all over in Montreal not just this hotel. Overall good value for money.

Really nice experience at this hotel, staying in one of their condo/studio rooms. It felt really private, with not many rooms on each floor and good sound proofing. I’m a member of the private gym downstairs. Have been for a few years. I’ve been in the lobby a handful of times, sometimes waiting for my session, and have heard the staff deal with an array of situations. So I just want to say that everyone is very well spoken, great team rapport and the place is always clean. If I didn’t live in the city, I’d have gladly been a guest.
The Staff are kind and helpful. Very accommodating for me and my son with cp. We travel often and enjoy our stays very much! We love the new terrace, to relax in the sun! We love that it is close to everything you could need. Friendly, lovely hotel staff.

Room was a bit dated, but was clean and service was good. Not sure if I'd recommend the underground parking as spots are really tight and there's a parking space right across. Breakfast is alright, but could be better...

This is such a beautiful Hotel. We made a last minute reservation because we were accepted to Diner en Blanc in Montreal. The staff was really incredible. From the time we arrived and checked in, to the Concierge's guidance on local caterers, directions and recommendations to a liquor store and directions to the metro. It was a memorable stay and we'll definitely be back.
Very nice hotel in the heart of old Port in Montreal. Very clean and attentive service. Very nice rooms. Reasonable priced. Not extremely quiet inside the rooms . You can hear the cars from outside , especially if the exhaust is a bit loud. I was on the last floor and I could still hear the cars passing by in the middle of the night if I was awake. The bar inside the hotel is ok.
Hotel St James is one of my favorite hotels in Montreal. This hotel is pure luxury, with a beautiful restaurant and SPA. Staff at this hotel are very professional and friendly. I must say the service is impeccable. I came here 10years ago and this hotel service is always the best not to mention its location. Rooms are very charming and tastefully decorated. The hotel is a boutique style and located...
The photos don't do this justice, we stayed in a junior suite, it was gorgeous. Incredible service, courteous staff, perfectly located In old Montreal. This is my first stay here, I'll never stay anywhere else again.
Great location in Old Montreal. The hotel is stunning, the food is delicious and beautifully presented, the rooms are phenomenal, and the service is exceptional. I've never had a bad experience at the St-James.
An iconic landmark and very upscale for sure. The suites here are beautifully put together. However, the gym is very lacklustre and the rooms don't let in enough natural light.

We went with extremely low expectations because the reviews were very bad. We were pleasantly surprised when we saw that everything was quite good. It is a hotel that fits perfectly with the price paid. We got the night for 75 cad and the truth is that it was pretty good. The attention is not the best but other than that everything is fine. The room was clean and the bed quite comfortable. It has parking...
Not a great hotel, but also not a terrible one. Beds are a bit hard for my liking, and the WiFi sucks. Otherwise not bad. Be ware 4 pm check in no early options.
Rooms were pretty good and clean for the price. Lots of things to do and see around hotel. Only drawback is, parking options sick and are expensive, and breakfast restaurant opened too late for " early" risers. Bar was closed too....

Maybe the best value hotel downtown. Room was very simple but clean as a whistle. Staff was friendly. Parking was $20 a night and very tight but convenient and safe. Breakfast was nothing to write home about but got the job done. For the price it exceeded the value especially with a location so convenient for Montreal attractions.
Hotel Labelle is extremely conveniently located close to the Berri-UQAM metro station, which can take you almost everywhere in Zone A of Montreal. The room I had was basic but comfortable. The kitchenette was stocked with basic pots, pans, utensils, plates/bowls, and cups. The nearby IGA supermarket makes using the kitchenette a great option to keep food expenses down. Breakfast is basic continental...
Great hotel for visiting Montreal, located close to historic Montreal and a major metro station. Hot breakfast in the morning was a welcome perk with fruits, bacon/sausages, eggs, waffles, pastries, cereal, tea and coffee. No issues with security or comfort. Very helpful and cheerful staff. Able to easily stay with little to no French language skills.
I decided to visit Montreal this past long weekend and decided to give this hotel a try. I have seen it before, and I thought it would probably be a bad choice, but I was wrong! I can't begin to tell you how satisfied I was with the hotel! I am so impressed by the comfort of the rooms. They did a great job in the upgrades from what you see in the pictures on their website. It is now my favorite...
I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Labelle. The room was spotlessly clean which I wasn’t expecting. Toilet was clean too and well equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer. The shower water pressure was great too with hot water. The bed was super comfy. Staff at the check-in and check-out were friendly and spoke English perfectly. The continental breakfast had all the breakfast items that you could expect...
The rooms are a bit small but very cozy and clean.the hot breakfastwas surprisingly good. The rates were excelent. The hotels location is its main drawback, it's located in one hell of a sketchy alley. The parkin garage is also kinda crazy, very steep and only one way in or out with one lane for two way traffic. The hotel was great value.

We loved our stay in Montreal at LHotel. It was the perfect spot to explore old Montreal and beyond. We stayed a total of 4 nights and we enjoyed its great location, amenities and they made us feel very special. It was an extended weekend get away for a special occasion as a couple. It is such a unique hotel with an eclectic feel with very interesting decor and furnishings. Being in an older building...
The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the noise level in the area was a major downside. Doors were being slammed by other guests late into the night, and there was a lot of street noise—honking cars and frequent sirens. It made it really difficult to relax or sleep.
This hotel is in a fantastic location in Montreal, everything right there. The hotel itself is a little different, not the crisp new build that sometimes we come to expect. The premises are clean and cozy. The clientele is very good, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed. As we sat in the lobby area enjoying breakfast croissants/orange juice/coffee, there was a positive hum of activity from other...
This hotel made our vacation. It's hard to travel as a large family (two adults, four children) but our rooms were perfect. The beds were amazing and the chocolate croissants for breakfast were worth the price of admission on their own! Perfectly located, the staff was so kind with our kids and helping with luggage and strollers. Look forward to staying again on our next visit.
Nice artworks throughout. Very friendly / helpful staff day & night shifts. The lady serving breakfast remembered our order each morning and even set the main dining tv to our preference, NBA :)
We traveled from New York and wanted to be in Old Montreal. This hotel is perfectly located there. Each day, we walked everywhere and took in the varied architectural structures and holiday charm. Stores were open, people were friendly, and we were able to eat at a wide variety of ethnic restaurants. Our hotel rooms were substantial in size and very comfortable. The staff was personable, friendly...
