Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Montreal Centre-ville Ouest by IHG
Montreal, 1390 Boulevard René-lévesque Ouest 🧭 Map
Pool and gym are great, clean rooms, easy check-in, many parking spaces
Perfectly decent hotel. Five stars because to start - the location can’t be beaten if you’re flying in to YUL. The 747 airport bus takes you basically right in front of this hotel (don’t waste your money on a cab!).There are a couple of metro stops nearby too. The room was perfectly clean when I arrived and was nice and quiet throughout my staff. Front desk staff were all very friendly and accommodating...
Stayed last week for the weekend with my friends. Rooms were super comfy and clean, the location is also very convenient. The only disappointment was the pool, it was too small, but it compensates with the city view, very nice.
Will definitely stay again if I'm visiting Montreal!
One of the cleanest hotels I have ever stayed at. The bathroom shower and tiles looked brand new and the best was exceptionally comfortable. Parking is expensive but its right downtown so it is to be expected. Best part of the parking is that they allow in-out privilege's.
Excellent hotel, staff are amazing and go out of their way to help you.
As a hotel the facilities were great. But the some of the staff was really, REALLY not friendly and welcoming. When I arrived their machines did not want to accept my Credit Card for the deposit (100 CAD). So I called my bank and they told me that the transaction does not even make it over to them, so the problem is with the place I am trying to make the purchase. So I asked whether I can pay cash...

Hotel Le Cantlie Suites
Montreal, 1110, Sherbrooke Street West 🧭 Map
This was a suprise booking through hotwire. At first I was extremely disappointed because I made sure a pool was included and it turned out this hotel had a rooftop pool and is seasonal, so during march no swimming for us. BUT, when we arrived we were greeted pleasantly by the valet staff, and front desk staff was excellent as well. The rooms are beautiful. Very spacious and even have kitchenettes...
We stayed four nights at Hotel Le Cantlie and our experience was nothing short of wonderful. From the front desk to housekeeping, the staff of this hotel were accommodating and friendly.
The valets in the garage were superb! They were the most efficient that I have seen in a parking garage (kudos to Daniel, Sam, etc.). A bonus for the hotel was that their garage provided ‘in and out’ privileges...
We enjoyed our two-day stay at hotel le Cantlie. Very polite and friendly staff. The hotel has a parking valet in the back and charges $28 per night for parking. They have breakfast buffet for $25 per person which we didn’t try. The room was pretty clean. The mattresses were super soft and uncomfortable comparing to hotels that generally use firm mattresses. The rooms didn’t have mini fridges, so we...
Fabulous staff. Extremely helpful and welcoming each time we came back to the hotel. Rooms very comfortable with fantastic views of the mountains especially the change of the trees in the fall. Excellent location for museums, restaurants, transport and shops. Great value for money. Been their many times. Never disappointed.
For my first time back in Montreal in years, this hotel was great. Perfect location very close to all sorts of entertainment downtown. The valet service is a big plus, with a very kind, patient, and careful driver. The reception and staff are all very accommodating and welcoming. The room was super comfortable with a luxurious feel and plenty of room to lounge around when you’re not exploring the city...
It's a great hotel with plenty of amenities. The downtown location is great for tourists. It has a very modern style inside and provides much comfort. Only downside is expensive parking spaces.

Location is perfect close to VIA station and nearby shopping malls. Spacious room with comfortable beds and very nice dining area. Room is great for family holidays and the room charge is value for money.
Walking distance to most of popular places. A lot of restaurants around. Breakfast does not have a lot of choices but like the fruits they offered.
This apartment is perfectly situated in Old Quebec City, only a 10-minute walk from the iconic Chateau Frontenac. With restaurants right downstairs, it's incredibly convenient. Housed in a beautifully renovated old French-style building, the apartment combines a stately exterior with a modern interior. It comes with a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities (washer and dryer). I absolutely loved...
We liked the room a lot. It was very spacious. We also enjoyed the pool. Service was great. Valet uploaded our luggage and brought to the room and the same when we checked out. All of the staff was very friendly. We also enjoyed the continental breakfast.
Great hotel! Very spacious room, comfortable, well working no too noisy airconditioning, very clean, nice matress. Only note: the pillows were too soft (as is often the case in hotels).
Would recommend!
Big spacious rooms right downtown. Have stayed here many times and will be back 😊

Location was perfect. Nice Cafe in the lobby for having coffee or breakfast. Big room (double queen bed)
Second time staying at the hotel and I’ll be back again soon. The front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful on both visits. The rooms are clean and mostly modern. The bathrooms seemed to be a few years out of date, but the sink, mirror and shower worked 100%. Accomplished their goals. Centrally located. 13 minute walk to Bell Centre. Lots of restaurants nearby.
A beautiful suite with a very interesting view. If it is one place in Montreal I love to be it is right in the heart of downtown and this hotel has it all, INCLUDING rooms that fit your budget. I paid only $185 CAD per night and you get all of that Montreal experience around its vicinity. The room is splendid too. I will keep coming here.
Great location, close to Mont Royal and Downtown.
Good room. Bed. Good value for money

I didn't like walking out of the property as much, the small section without a sidewalk wasn't very safe.
By car, the hotel is easy to reach, with sufficient parking and convenient exits.
This stay exceeded my expectations in every way. First we were greeted by a kind staff member who quickly registered us. The room was very clean, convenient and comfortable,

This property is beyond amazing!! Staff are very friendly and it is truly such a welcoming and stunningly beautiful building! Very much reminded me of a midevil castle thats been remodeled...very relaxing and the beds were extremely comfortable! We will gladly return next time we are in the area!!!
Very old hotel, like a castle, good coffee
The ambience of this hotel is spectacular. I particularly loved sitting in the lounge restaurant with the fire and comfy chairs. All the star were very friendly and the roofs were clean. The hotel was nicely decorated with a bit of a "Renaissance" feel. I would definitely stay here again.

Motel Pignons Rouges
Montreal, 15777 Sherbrooke Street East 🧭 Map
I wasn't looking to spend a lot of money, so I booked a room here. Still, it was $301/3 nights.
Bad: There was no fridge and microwave in the room. They didn't inform us about complimentary breakfast (at least coffee). Room service didn't take out the trash, they just did the bed. There was no shampoo in the washroom, we had to ask for it. Furniture was old.
Good: there is plenty of free parking...
Very wonderful stay..... This motel is pretty affordable, accommodating, and comfortable! The staff there are amazing and makes sure your stay is a pleasant one. You get your deposit back in cash which is rare compared to other places who wait until 1 business day or more to return it to you! Parking is on site and is free! 2 sources of WI-FI! Will be back again! Thank you Motel Pignons Rouges for...
Stayed here for a night in 2012. It was a cheap motel but then again I was looking for a cheap place. Could have been better, but then that would only increase the price. The acid test is whether I would come back to stay here and ... yes I would at this price. Maybe not if it's $10:00 dearer I dunno.
BUT CAUTION!!!!! THESE NEGATIVE REVIEWS !!!!
I had a good look at them. Many of them are the same...
Really cool motel off the beaten path to Montreal. If you had a long tiring day touring Montreal, this is the motel you want to come to. Around 15 miles from downtown, this motel gives you a very peaceful ambiance, large rooms with large queen beds (instead of double beds) yet very safe. We got a glimpse of a deer who wandered into the property. Two miles from the hotel is a very large grocery store...

Had a great time here, rooms were clean and quiet and it was nice to have a fully equipped kitchen in the room. Not so sure about the way they make the beds but I guess it’s cultural… I would surely be back. 4 stars over the lack of gym/fitness facilities.
Great location and good to have laundry room but points taken off for terrible wifi (non-existent), smelly elevator and non punctual service.
We asked for housekeeping and they said it was too late around 4PM and they could do it the following day. The next day the housekeeping came at 4:30 pm, after we had already returned from a day of sightseeing and wanted to rest. We had to wait in the lobby...
The location is convenient, very close to the city center!
Good location, near to down town. You can park your rental car for 20$\day. Breakfast was delicious. The room itself was a bit odd, furniture kind of outdated, also the AC had a bad, musty smell. Friendly staff!
Value for money
Very decent lunch
Great price-quality ratio and decent breakfast with good croissants and fresh breads. Our room with two twin beds had sufficient space, and had some kitchen facilities. Location was good, and (paid) parking facility at hotel was convenient.

This hotel was very beautiful. The room was the same as it was shown in the picture. The only thing I didn't expect was to open the door and the bed was right there. I would've liked to walk a bit before reaching the bed.
Good location, comfortable new room.
Pretty much you get what you pay for. I've stated at better motels for the same price.

Overall a great place to stay. Quite a convenient to stay considering it's between Old and Downtown Montreal.
Will be staying there again very soon.
It's only a two-minute walk from the subway station, which is very convenient for doing things in the city. The breakfast in the morning is just bread, milk, juice and coffee. It's simple, but it's cost-effective.
Stayed in Montreal for 4 days and chose this hotel in downtown. It was quite comfortable and had a microwave and refrigerator. There were no slippers. There is a bus terminal next to the hotel. You can take a 747 to the airport for $11. There are many homeless people and some drug ******* next to the hotel.
Objectively speaking, for this price and location, there is no need for service and environment. It seems that there is Hyatt not far away, but the price is completely different. But the most inappropriate thing about this hotel is that the front desk actually recorded my credit card number when I asked for a deposit. A few days later, the bank said that it suspected that my card was stolen and the...

As a place to sleep for the night, it is perfectly adequate. I felt safe, and the staff was mostly curtious. The room was well made when we arrived, and mostly met our needs.
