Was clean and comfortable friendly staff was little ways away from places but very close to highway
Our generously sized room was outfitted with all sorts of thoughtful additions for the dogs such as a dog bed, cookies, and poop bag. The staff were cheery and accommodating and we couldn’t have been more pleased by our experience. This hotel offers a 4 to 5 star stay in my view. Thank you for your exceptional hospitality!
We were able to switch to a ground floor room with our car outside our door for easy unloading/loading. Happy to have that extra blanket on a cold night! Breakfast was great.
Excellent stay! The staff at this hotel were so kind, positive, and friendly. Check in set the tone for a good stay. The rooms were VERY clean. Complimentary breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. Definitely recommend staying here!
The front desk clerk who checked us in was very helpful and informative. Thanks Norbert for the great recommendation for dinner! The entire hotel was very clean and had a nice fresh smell. We were very impressed and would definitely stay there again. It is in an excellent location, just off the highway.
My husband and I got to the hotel moments before a couple of bus loads of tourists arrived but lucked out with a room as they had just had a cancellation. We were thrilled to get a suite with a king bed for $125 for the night. It was very clean with a wonderful amount of space and the bed was super comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great! This is by far the...

Room, bed, and bathroom were clean. Staff was very friendly, accommodating, and bilingual. Price was good, comparable to the far less appealing budget alternative down the road, but for a much nicer motel. Several restaurants within walking distance which was nice. Secure lobby. Some TLC needed (carpets really need cleaning for example, and some minor room repairs were needed as well...
Reasonable rates, clean, quiet and friendly staff. You can take the ferry to old Quebec
A whimsical establishment, especially for those who appreciate the arts -- music & theatre. Warm, welcoming and bilingual reception. Healthy breakfast (@ nominal cost) to start your day on a positive note. Book your stay on their website for the best prices! I love this place. ?
Do not go this hotel if you have a pet. They did not honor my booking which included my pet.

This is a terrific hotel in a great location. Our room was beautiful and well maintained and the staff at the front desk were sooooo attentive! And bilingual. A special shout-out to Pauline, thanks for making us feel so welcome. The breakfast-in-a-bag idea is a great concept. This was our second time here and won’t be our last.
Beautiful cutest hotel! It was my favorite during our vacation in Canada! I love that it felt rustic yet chic..the room was super cozy i loved having a window really close to my bed it made it feel like I was in a home. The staff was super friendly. Also , I liked that they delivered your breakfast to your bedroom every morning they left it by our door so no need to rush downstairs for food Oh and...
Absolutely fantastic experience at des Coutellier. They were so considerate on everything. The room was clean and quiet, there was complementary breakfast, apples, coffee...the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was also ideal, being close to the st. Loved this hotel. Customer service from everyone is excellent. Shout out to Pierre and Justin they are employees and are responsible for checking in guest, providing assistance. Great, friendly hotel just outside the walls of the old city and close to an easy walk to the train station, busses and the old town. Great room, clean, and comfortable bed. Breakfast is a bag delivered outside your room each morning filled with delicious bakery goods, orange juice ....more than enough to keep you going. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We had a nice stay at hotel acadia for 4 days. We were visiting for a mother daughter getaway. I was a little worried because of some of the recent very negative reviews, I can see the reason for some of them but people need to manage their expectations when booking a hotel at a cheaper rate. I would say this is a budget hotel, this is reflected in the price and the hotel itself, although I can see...
I am a regular traveler who is used to small creature comforts, this place caught me off guard, another guest mentioned do due diligence, basic request black tea bags and milk never showed up, front desk showed interest to help never came through, non functioning printer, it's a very basic hotel, hostel would be a better description
Some how we were moved to this hotel fro Acadia. It was a good or best thing happened. Without knowing this hotel was two block down from the hotel K dram goblin was filmed and so easy excess to everywhere surrounded by nice restaurants. The room gave us so spacious for four people. The reception guy was so nice and kind. Free coffee and water at front desk.
Hôtel Acadia is a very special place in Old Quebec. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a warm, inviting and romantic flare. We stayed in the same room, on the same date in October, 15 years ago when we were engaged. Room 101 is very special. We will return again!!
We booked online and the room looked nothing like the website or this website! It was much smaller and a bit cramped. Could only get one station on the TV to work and it was in French. Having said that, the staff was nice and our stay was comfortable. Location is excellent!
We had a very nice room with a front street view. The beds were very comfortable. The location was fabulous with walking distance to everything to see. Michael, at the front desk, was very nice, friendly, and helpful.

We started our Quebec City trip at this absolute gem! Our room was amazing, but the staff was even better!! I saved the best for last...make sure you eat at the Hotel restaurant. Farm to table and everything was perfect!! This place is the definition of polite! You're welcome!
Beautiful, clean, warm, quiet hotel, wonderful atmosphere, large comfortable room, and a nice common area with board games. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from all the major sights in old Quebec City. The little details were impressive. Chromecast in the rooms, awesome wifi, eco-friendly and sustainable thinking (including our floor being run on alternative energy). What more could you...
Absolutely amazing! 5 stars. From check-in to check-out, a stay at HVQ is a must. I stayed at the Hilton for half the trip but wished i stayed at HVQ for the full trip instead. Let me name a few; - Complimentary water (Hilton didn’t have that) - Waterfall style shower...

Great little hotel getaway with a nice balcony looking over the indoor pool. Cool concept. I will go back with the Family.
Clean room, nice indoor pool. Cool Murphy beds for the 2nd bed, pretty comfy. Bathroom with glass doors, not practical. Needs more storing places for clothes inside the room. The brunch was delicious and 15$-20$ per adult
I like the view from balcony. The southern atmosphere
Swimming pool area was great. We enjoined the evening there. Rooms were okay, but require upgrade. Beds were comfortable. Dinner in restaurant was good (the ribs and seafood pasta were really good). What a great surprise this hotel was. Fly in from Toronto to Quebec city and $16 taxi ride to this gem of a spot. Take an inside room overlooks the indoor garden area and wonderful restaurant. Rooms offer indoor patios to relax and listen to music. Wine on the patio and enjoying good food with great service. Makes this hotel a 10!
The front desk took care of us considering our understanding with lack of French (on us) and early arrival. They were nice with all the questions we asked. The bartender was excellent and quick with drink, service, and food. The atmospheree was very nice. Rooms were clean but could use updating. Lovely hotel but not perfect The front desk staff and those who served the breakfast were great. The maid service left a lot to be desired because we had to ask for toilet paper twice and it was strange how the room was cleaned. Beautiful small boutique hotel. My only concern was access to the rooms. We had a great deal of trouble. Getting into our room in the evening.
Excellent boutique hotel. Bathrooms are small but expected in a historical house/hotel. Wonderful continental breakfast and amenities. Can control the temp in room which is wonderful. Also neat sitting/working rooms on the first and second floor and access to by the glass wine at any time. Wonderful stay for our anniversary!
Rooms had firm but very comfortable beds! The service was exceptional! Oliver was so thoughtful and welcoming! Restaurant options were many, and all within 15 min walk. Close to Old Town and Chateau. Highly recommend!!
Quaint hotel in a quiet area, easy walking distance to most places including Chateau Frontenac, Dufferin Terrasse.
I liked alot the room, the only thing i did not like was that the bathroom was a little bit smaill. I liked the continental breaksfast in the garden.

This beautiful heritage house, situated in a spectacular spot, was perfect for our family of 5. We were blown away by both the authentic décor and modern comfort. Very nice ancestral house, clean with all the necessary amenities and very well located.
An exceptional place, run by good people, in a historic and bucolic environment. The bike path that runs along the river is a stone's throw away, it is accessed by a magnificent and comfortable linear park, the stairs not far from there lead you to the Plains of Abraham in a few minutes. Not to be missed if you want to spend a few nights in Quebec in complete peace of mind.
Perfect welcome from Claude, very comfortable and very well appointed, the dining room in the shape of a boat hull is very successful.
An exceptional experience, with an owner who cooks breakfast each morning in your kitchen, while you chat. Rooms are very comfortable, clean and plenty of room with 3 bedrooms. I’ve been to the Alt Hotel in previous years and it was my favourite place to stay. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. However, I believe they’ve changed the rooms. They are now carpeted? The hotel is located a little bit outside the city but easily reached with car or bus. It has a big shopping center right next to it and several restaurants around it. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Alt Quebec - the location is super central (with malls nearby and just 15 mins from the airport). The staff was friendly and courteous and extremely responsive. For example, turning on the AC in the room was a bit tricky and someone came over to help right away. Wifi was complimentary and they even have a bistro on site - overall, it was pleasant for a short work trip
The room was super comfy and clean. I loved that there parking spots available too, and we could do an early check in, amazing.

Was quite surprised by the room! The queens/kings bedroom had a small kitchen area. The ceiling was high and although right next to a busy street, it was pretty quiet! From room 410 😁 We booked a regular studio room but at the check-in, the lady at the front desk asked if it was our the first time here, then told us that she is upgrading our room for free for a suite. There was a large free parking area right in front of the hotel, which was very convenient. It's a long walk to Old Quebec City, but it's not that far by car. The room was spacious and clean.
