Quebec, 400, rue Marais 🧭 Map
The facilities are a bit dated, but the staff are friendly. The French sounds all around make it feel like you're in France. Breakfast also has a wider selection of breads and sausages, giving it a more European feel.
Excellent service and friendly staff.
See you soon for your next medical appointment.
The hotel is a bit old and the internet was broken during the days we stayed there, which was very inconvenient. The location of the hotel is also average. It is quite desolate, close to the highway, and a bit noisy. It is a bit scary to go out at night. It is about 20 minutes drive from the old town.
Very good, the bed is very comfortable, the toilet and bathroom are also very good. The bath water is soft and my skin feels smooth after bathing. Breakfast is also very good, and coffee and juice are available at any time. Highly recommended
Hotel location is quite good. Given the price, the hotel quality and services are acceptable. The 24 hours coffee bar is my favorite. But, it will be better if they can install a window blinds in the room.
Very clean room and comfortable bed. Nice modern shower and especially no carpet

Very clean room, cute little bar/cafe on-site (didn’t use it, but grabbed coffee in the morning). Travelled with my very large dog and she was welcomed no problem. I will definitely stay here again, owners were very friendly and accommodating.
Friendly reception and front staff . Convenient location closer to highway . Pet friendly. They have a bar with live music and billiards table .
Overpriced for motel definitely . The property is very old . Need maintenance. Property only has baseboard heat and doesn’t have central heating . Washroom walls are cracked , tubs and pipes are old
Very old stinky curtains .
Advertised it has free breakfast...
Located very close to the highway and within minutes of food outlets, grocery stores, gas stations, etc.
Rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed for a motel.
Super great. Five of us on motorcycles overnighted on the way east and made a point of stopping again on our return to Ontario. Easy access off the highway and gas at the corner. Really nice people, a good little bar and the best breakfast on the whole trip.
The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful with explaining where my room was, and how to get into it, even with a language barrier. My room was clean, lots of extra soap and towels. Had a great experience. I will definitely be returning to this place.
We stayed here on a road trip in March while we were moving cross country with our dog. The rooms were clean and neat, and great if your on the move with your pet. The service however was really memorable. I am writing this review after looking back through some photos and being reminded of the amazing fresh breakfast and good hospitality.

I felt like staying in a 5 stars hotel, it was very comfortable and worth every penny. We wished we could stay another night
Very clean, welcoming and helpful staff, relaxing hot tub, refreshing indoor pool, tasty and generous breakfast
Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of healthy choices meeting my family dietary needs. The service at the breakfast room was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable. Room was located excellent on the ground floor near a door for easy access to come and go with our dog. Will definitely recommend to others and book again on future trips in the region later this year.
Shower was great
It was okay, just to spend the night, but it could be so much better.
* The receptionist was polite. Quick check-in.
* The room was clean, a good size, but a bit dark.
* The beds and sheets smelled nothing but clean, and the pillows and mattresses were comfy.
* There were some annoying noises during the night coming from neighboring rooms.
* The check-out process was simple, with no issues.

Excellent staff and service! Beds are extremely comfortable and rooms are beautiful and well equipped! Highly recommend and would stay again!! It also smelled amazing!
Excellent hotel. It is clean, comfortable and the wifi is really good. Staff was tremendously kind. Location is also excellent near restaurants, a cinema and a grocery store.
This was my stop from Nova Scotia to Ontario and back. Reception was nice and friendly, the rooms appeared clean. I liked my room on the way back a bit better as it didn't smell of hint of cigarettes even though it suppose to be smoke free. The elevator was a bit of a distance from the entrance, if you have a bit of mobility issues. There was breakfast, nothing special. Overall an ok place to stop...

Bed & Breakfast Chez Marie-Claire
Quebec, 62 rue Ste Ursule, G1R 4E6 Quebec City, Canada 🧭 Map
Pascal was a gracious host. The breakfasts were excellent. The location, inside the wall was ideal!
We had a very comfortable stay. The care taker, Magalie has exceptional customer service skills. She prepares fresh warm breakfast every morning for the guests which makes you feel like home. Place was very clean and tidy. Location is also great if you’re looking to explore old Quebec!
Pascal and Marguerite were lovely and hospitable. Excellent location, good sized room and nice, cold AC. Bathroom was nicely renovated. Breakfast was filling
The hotel was a delightful experience! Set in the heart of Old Quebec, the inn was reminiscent of the old world French charm. The hosts were very congenial and accommodating to the fact that our French was quite poor, and conversed in English. He provided us with all the sights and other points of interests (such as the best restaurants) in town. The room and breakfast was exemplary and we were left...
It was great experience staying in this place! The Hosts are very friendly and polite.
Breakfasts were awesome! Always just from stove very delicious food including fresh (still hot) pastries and wonderful coffee.
This place definitely a place to come back!
Thank you!
Quaint B&B in Old Quebec within walking distance of plenty of restaurants and activities. The host, Hervé, was kind and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and have their own bathroom. The included breakfast has plenty of options that should satisfy most. Free parking is included as well.

B&B Le Transit
Quebec, 1050 Avenue Turnbull 🧭 Map
Everything was perfect. Cozy room and comfy bed. Gracious host who prepared me a great breakfast in the morning. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean. Location is very convenient as well. Highly recommend Le Transit! Merci!
The owner showed great hospitality, was very friendly, accommodating and generous...Clean rooms and bathrooms with everything you need...
Charming B&B. The owner made us feel quite welcome and the room was as depicted "romantic". The owner's dog Cleo (a shitzu) was keeping us company and giving a family vibe rather than your classic fancy hotel vibe. The owner was more than willing to give us tips about things to see in Quebec city.
Really liked my experience staying at this place. I've been to Québec city three times, and this has been by far the best place I've stayed in (for about the same price).
The owner is very nice and polite, the room (with the private bathroom) was clean and, in my opinion, looked better in person than in the photos.
The location is very convenient, and it wasn't difficult for us to find parking nearby...
The host, Bernard, was very hospitable. The location is great, with lots of choices for food and drink nearby. Not far from the popular tourist attractions. The room was spacious, though the lighting could have been better. It's an older place, and the floors creak, if that's a problem.
Lovely hotel! Close to tourist area and convention Centre. The owners dog, Chloe, was the cutest little thing.

Large suite. Comfortable. Breakfast was fine. Nice staff. Close to restaurants.
The room was large and comfortable. We got a great sleep in a very comfortable bed and a quiet room. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. For example, the staff at the reception desk, notably Kouman, went out of their way to accomodate us (we arrived late in the evening with our black lab). The waffles that Marie-Lyne made us for breakfast were outstanding :-) The location is excellent...
Good location right on the highway.
Staff is very friendly and always helpful.
Rooms do lack some stuff like toilet paper, towels etc... But the staff did accomodate us very nicely.
The hotel is nicely located next to a highway but a bit outside the downtown of Quebec City
Stayed 3 nights 4 days, got the king suite. Great room, clean with lots of room. All the check on staff were amazing, very informative and answered all my questions. Breakfast was normal continental breakfast. I did notice even with the room temp set to 18 it was still warm and stuffy as the temp would not go below 21 so we opened the windows as it was nice and cool outside so problem solved...
The room was very nice. It had two TV's, a couch, table and chairs, fridge, microwave and coffee machine along with a king size bed which was very comfy. We brought the family dog with us and he was welcome however there is very little grass to do his business as this hotel is in a commercial area with huge parking lots around. We had a lovely stay here. The hosts are wonderful people and very helpful. The breakfasts are homemade and delicious. Would gladly stay here again.
I stayed at this bed and breakfast from July 29 to Aug 1. It was so nice family like experience that I received from the host. They offer fresh breakfast every morning and change it up everyday. Freshly baked goods were so delicious. Location is walking distance to main square and Chateau Frontenac. I highly recommend this place.
A lovely place with beautiful style design (I felt like I went back in time :)) in the center of old Quebec city. Great location. The hosts are kind and very accommodating. They serve a delicious homemade breakfast .I Enjoyed the placed very much.
We stayed at B&B Saint Louis last weekend, it was just amazing. What a lovely host! The location just across the road from the ferry terminal was great. There is a nice restaurant/coffee shop nearby.
Also there are interesting walks without crossing the river!
The unit is equipped with a kitchen, shower room and toilet, and the owner, Pierre, prepares a wonderful breakfast for you every morning. It seems that the ingredients for breakfast are also selected and used, and it is at the level of eating breakfast at a proper restaurant. In particular, the French toast served on the morning of the second day was the best!! The coffee was strong and delicious....

Stayed here one night last October. It was ok but nothing special. I felt more being tolerated rather than welcomed.

Best place you can get for the lowest rate available. So close to everything, wonderful host, super amenities and delicious breakfast. I enjoyed my stay all the days as i was staying for a conference at convention centre.

Great place to stay for visiting Quebec city, close to old town, 10 minutes, also close to falls. Very clean room, great service, real price, would recommend for middle class people
Even though it's a one star motel, the place was really great. The room was clean, simple and not that oldie looking. Had a microwave, coffee brewer (WITH coffee, sugar, etc), a refrigerator and even an AC decently working. And the receptionist was awesome. Hands up to this girl who accepted to do our laundry (since we were on a roadtrip) and even folded it nice before handing it back! :D
The motel is located in a quiet location, not far from the center. the room has a comfortable bed, microwave oven, coffee machine.
The rooms with old furniture, there was a bad smell - smelled of cigarettes. windows do not open to ventilate the room.
A little too expensive for the service provided. 3 nights spent there, we had to ask for fixing stuff in the room every day. Loved our stay for 4 nights. They accommodated a midnight check in and made sure we were settled in nicely. The room was extremely clean and the ac was superb.
The biggest con is that you need to have a car to stay here. There are buses nearby but we never got to use it because we almost always came back late at night and taxis/Ubers aren't very accessible in the area. We got denied a ride a handful...
Upstairs was okay but I wish it had more choices of food. Hot plate perhaps
Loved the man at the front desk ! Pool opened all day ( clean ) . I would not recommend the breakfast ! At all!! Its not worth 8 $ a person in any way . Chez Cora is not to far its a better option. Its quiet but you do need a car to get around i would say .

I have stayed here twice now. I like this hotel, good sized rooms. The staff has always been very friendly. The breakfast is standard, eggs are strange, my boss calls them sponge eggs because of the consistency and I think that’s appropriate. Restaurant next door is solid.
Beautiful hotel , beyond reproach in cleanliness, friendly knowledgable staff , accommodating, super kind …I give them 10 stars
Service was excellent! Dog friendly. Rooms were fairly quiet, beds were comfortable & the price was very fair. Got an excellent nights rest thank you Hampton Inn & Suites!
The cleanness of our room was fine and its design was comfortable. What bothered me in breakfast was the smell of the eggs and beans and sausages. It was not good at all, however waffle and pancake were better. Another weird thing was you should made your waffles yourself!!! If I wanted to make them myself I preferred to stay at home instead of paying for hotel!!!
A great hotel. Rooms are nice and quite clean. Breakfast is pretty standard. They have a coffee, tea, and hot chocolate (probably seasonal) counter in the front. Gym is pretty good, although the treadmills have issues (2 of them periodically slow down a lot, 1 trips the circuit breaker often so it needs to be reset). Staff are bilingual. Overall, a great choice for staying near Québec City.

We have stayed at most of the little hotels around the old city and this is one of the nicest.

Limited amenities made this a less than satisfactory stay. My daughter (who is disabled) wanted a bath on the evening we checked in and there was no plug for the tub! I loved my stay here. You should know there's no staff on site, it's a self check-in. The rooms are great and clean. Should you need specific info, you can reach your host and they're very responsive. It's right next to Abraham's plains and 15min walking from old Quebec city through the park. It's quiet and easy to find. Loved my stay.
Great location.
Good value.
There is a communal kitchen with toaster/fridge/microwave/kettle/basic pots 'n pans/utensils/toaster oven.
Make sure you arrive before 8:00 PM so you can have access to someone to help you with the blasted code to open the front door + door to your room in case the code provided in advance doesn't work (our experience).
Location was great because it’s near good food places. It’s also near to both old and new quebec. Very versatile with wherever we want to go. Service was friendly and they gave us enough quiet time and privacy. We enjoyed the stay. Room was clean and warm enough. Pillows are just a little less fluffy.
I LOVED my stay at Manoir de la Tour! The room was so cute, the AC was a relief in such a hot season! My room had a fridge and a microwave and a coffee machine which I was not expecting. Close to old Quebec and the walks in the neighborhood were so lovely. Clean, comfy and cozy. I’d definitely come back!
