Thank you Marie-Claire and Samuel for your hospitality. You handled the deluge of customers coming in after our flight was diverted to Quebec City with grace and upmost professionalism.

A reasonable hotel, well located, clean, friendly staff and good room size. A nice family budget friendly place for a quick getaway or small groups vacation in Quebec. Great windows and views. Microwave and mini fridge are a nice touch. Breakfast area is small but fit with the place. Not lots of choices but great choices from hot to cold way to enjoy a regular breakfast. Lots of parking spaces.

Rooms ok, good to overnight if you have a flight early or arrive late in the night, just a couple of minutes away from the airport.

You get what you pay for! Nice staff, simple but good breakfast. Room was old, but clean, comfortable bed. AC was too noisy. Pet friendly ($25) and one L2 Tesla Charger (please respect the reserved parking spots!) ($10).

Hotel is fine. I would stay there again, the staff was friendly and spoke English. Rooms were okay and the breakfast was minimal but serviceable. My only two complaints were 1.) the bathroom only had conditioner, lotion, and one bar of soap. Comfort Inns usually have two bars of soap (one for sink, one for shower) and obviously shampoo. 2.) The drapes wouldn't close all the way, and there were lots...

Rooms are nice. Clean and well lit. Staff speak English and are very friendly. Ask and they will let you know about good places to eat and drink in the area.

This place was sold was last year, it is not my company any longer.....the new owners were hands off, I am terribly sorry about your experience over the past year. The restaurant was in concession too, even before we let the sale go. Quality of service and course was always #1 to us.

Check in staff was excellent. Provided us with information about the hostile and the area. She interrupted her dinner with others, which smelled amazing, to help us. We appreciated her time and attention.

The location is close to the Siberia Spa, stores two minutes drive from the location. The breakfast was great, everything you need to start the day. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The host was very friendly and gave us all info we needed.

This is such a charming little hotel in Old Quebec City. You feel as though you are stepping back in time when you are here, but with modern comfort. Great location, close to restaurants and shops and easy walking throughout the historic area of Old Quebec. The terrace on the upper floor is charming, peaceful and relaxing. Of all the Bed and Breakfasts I have stayed at, this is one of the best! It is in a quite neighbourhood, but only a couple blocks from all the shopping you could want. It is run by a wonderful French couple and breakfast was always delicious. I stay here again in a heartbeat.

Journey into the past with a charming host

I spent two nights at “Aux Années Folles”, from July 6 to 8, 2018. I was greeted by a smile from Mr. Daoust, sitting on his porch, and a good summer snack. He prepared me for breakfast in the morning a French toast and a pancake with almond milk to accommodate my intolerance to dairy products, he who did not know almond milk before I told him about it... this was delicious! While In town for Winter Carnival, we stayed here 3 night and then 4 nights at expensive historic hotel up the hill. This hotel was so much better than the one up the hill that cost three times as much. 1. Always threw a log on the fireplace if you were in the lobby. 2. Soaking tub was relaxing. 3. Overall, the room and location was good with most tourist spots a good 10 min walk away. Although there aren’t any lifts as it is a fairly old 2 storey building. The room was neat and clean. The kitchen is a plus to have. The staff are kind and helpful. Peaceful and quiet for sleeping at night. The walk to City center is all up hill and steep so take your time.

This hotel is limited to 8 rooms. The rooms are adequately sized and the bathroom isn't claustrophobic. It is a nice value for the money. If you don't expect a Marriott or Hilton experience, you won't be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay.

Stayed the night with the family it was very clean, nice style and staff was as you would hope. Great location and they have a cool bar on the main floor. Charming and convenient!

A great stay, 100%. Staff were incredibly helpful and were able to answer our questions about the area in great detail (we had supper based on their recommendations, and it did not disappoint). Prices are normally very fair for a Holiday Inn Express, however we did pay more due to the Canada Day long weekend (which is to be expected). I booked the hotel via travel app, everything is confirmed as easy as it did. My room is at first floor, but not much noise at all, quiet zone signs is everywhere in the hotel. Room is clean and the power outlet is everywhere on the wall, no need to worry about where to find the plug in like other franchise hotels. Had a pleasant stay during the Canada weekend. Hotel is located at the center of the old Quebec, close to many attractions. Room was super clean and spacious. They provided shampoo, conditioner, soap and even makeup remover wipes along with cotton pads and q tips. Owner was also very nice and welcoming.

Great location but the rooms on the 3rd floor are extremly tight and hard to get to with bags and luggage. There is no staff on site as of 7pm to 9am and the front door gets locked. Each guest receives a key to access the hotel after hours. Breakfast was very good.

We loved our stay for one night. The room was clean and comfortable and cozy. The only warning is that the shower is on the small side. We were able to use it just fine but if you are on the bigger side, you might not fit. ;) but other than that, the room was wonderful and we will definitely stay there again.
