We had a staycation at Lord Elgin this weekend and had a lovely experience. The room was clean and fully equipped with everything you would need. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly

We had a wonderful experience at the Lord Elgin for our wedding and related block booking. Staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and most importantly kind and patient

We spent two nights at the Lord Elgin Hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and very good room darkening curtains. I was also pleased at how quiet the room was

It was a fantastic room for us because it had a full and well-stocked kitchen (napkins, plates, cutlery, serving utensils), a living and dining space, and an additional bathroom, making it a great space for hosting family and friends

The manager also arrange for a treat of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries for us in our room as a wedding gift! The location was perfect as we were having our wedding reception on Elgin

We felt comfortable and well taken care of and the hotel itself is gorgeous. The hotel restaurant is also stellar, be sure to grab lunch or dinner at least once - you won't regret it!

I booked this hotel recently for a trip to Ottawa and was pleasantly impressed by what the hotel had to offer along with the amazing customer service from the employees

The food in the included breakfast was fresh and had a good selection of options including eggs, hash browns, different bread options, and a waffle maker

And for the rooms there was no complaints with the cleanliness and style especially considering its price being under 500$ for my 3 day stay

We'll definitely come back, and recommend this place to our friends and family

Vanessa made me feel welcome. She was very efficient and provided excellent customer service upon my arrival. The hotel has a good location with restaurants near by and the price is reasonable, with breakfast included.

The free breakfast includes hot foods like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes and make-your-own waffle machines

The rooms feel less like a hotel and more like your own little apartment in the city and all who came to visit were also very impressed by the layout (2 bedroom/2 bathrooms!). A true 10/10! cant wait to stay here again!

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Lovely welcoming environment right off the hop. The room was perfect, felt much more relaxed and at ease, like visiting a friends home rather than a 'hotel' feel

We are staying for 9 nights, overall everything is perfect, we have no complaints. They gave us so many complementary. With a such price in the area, it's a good deal. Thank you for the hospitality!

The view down to Sparks street was awesome as well, as it was all decorated and lit up for Christmas. Couldn't have asked for more! We highly recommend reStays and will definitely be returning!

Lovely rooms with kitchen and laundry. Location is excellent - about a 3 minute walk to Parliament buildings. The staff is friendly, efficient and care that you are happy and comfortable

Hotel itself is a landmark and has its historical value. When we visited the hotel had electricity issues but we were lucky as they resolved our side quickly. The charm of the hotel is on another level

Next to the Rideau Canal and Parliament made it even better. Recommend to book a parliament view room. Highly recommended in my books

The Marriott is an older property with a contemporary lobby. It was very popular with conferences and at least one youth sports team at the time of our visit

Just stayed this past weekend, Rooms a bit dated but corner room with river view was amazing. Customer service was top notch. they never emailed me my receipt! Been waiting 2 days now

It was very difficult to get sleep, which was a shame because the hotel was amazingly quiet for all the bustling activities going on! Other than that, a room contained a sofa bed and armchair, a mini fridge, a bathrobe, and excellent shower

Being an older property, the room could have used a renovation and likely will in the next few years. The room also had a ridiculous amount of light fixtures which was a great thing! I would stay again :-)

We had a great stay at the Andaz. It came with many perks such as complimentary wine, snacks and bottled water. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The locally made soaps are wonderful

The location is also phenomenal, easy walking distance to the Byward Market, CF Rideau Centre, the Canadian Mint, plus the National Art Gallery. They’re also a pet friendly establishment 🥰

Amazing location. The area is right beside the Rideau Centre Mall with the Ottawa Arts Gallery across the street. Byward Market is mere steps away and the locks and Parliament easily walked to.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with very generous dispensers for everything you need in the bathrooms, plus a large TV screen & fridge

Service is fantastic, the staff are always very responsive, be it via phone or in-person

I’ve stayed here multiple times, it’s one of the best hotels in Ottawa

A continuous connection throughout the stay without renewal is preferred

The hotel’s location is great, there are restaurants in walking distance as well as the Parliament and other monuments. Parking is extra $$ and cost quite a lot but it’s a decent garage

The heating wasn’t the best, though, the max temperature is 25C which of course would be enough except that in the bedroom it was 20C max. that small vent just couldn’t heat up the room properly

The gym could be a bit renovated but it does the job if someone wants go get some exercise in. The room was beautiful and HUGE especially for the price which was absolutely reasonable

The kitchen was very well equipped and the bedroom was spacious with comfortable bedding

Really feels like living in a condo! It's clean and tidy! Comfortably sleeps four easiest! Value: we three stayed two night with Tex and everything only came to $298!!! Parking is $25 each day! Overall: great for family, group and couples! Will stop again!

WiFi worked great and it’s quite fast. Breakfast was not included but there’s a restaurant/bar on the lobby level and there’s the kitchen too in the room to prepare anything. Great choice, absolutely recommended

The bar lounge is being renovated so it was a bit hectic and loud in the lobby, and bar service was a little bit slower than normal. The staff are very helpful though and I enjoy staying here

Had a important business meeting Thursday morning, so we decided to drive up to Ottawa Wednesday. We checked in at front desk the lady working was friendly and very professional

Even though I was dressed like a homeless person lol my suite was in my luggage. We grabed our bags and our truck was taken by valet. Pros:Room was spacious and newly renovated

I travel to Ottawa quite a bit for work and I always stay at the Sheraton. This hotel seems to have the comfiest beds and the service is always excellent

Breakfast buffet was very nice with a good selection of options. Room was clean and prepared nicely. Parking garage was under construction but the valet service was still available; great service by the valets

The folks at the bar are super friendly too. The one thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star review was the noisy construction in the hotel basement, which I could hear from the 7th floor

We got sent here by Air Canada due to an unexpected overnight layover. It was very nice! The room was very clean and modern, and the staff were very kind! They also have a great bar with many drink options!

It is announced as pet friendly and it is really pet friendly, our dog was welcome with a blanket, a cushion and bowls already there in the room. The bar area is comfy and the staff is really helpful Warmly recommend

Excellent hotel in the heart of downtown Ottawa that is very dog friendly! No issues with check in. Room was large, clean, and very modern. They had a dog bed and bowls ready in our room as well

There was a mixup cleaning our room but when we mentioned it to the front desk they rectified the situation quickly. The room wifi was very slow when we first arrived. We didn’t and found it was fine the rest of our stay

They are clean and comfortable but do not stand out like the rest of the hotel design. Easy walking distance to Parliament and all the downtown attractions

The fan speeds, had low, medium and high but it was either off or on full blast and it was somewhat noisy and irritating blowing on us as we were sleeping

Also in the morning it didn't seem to get cold but if we opened the door to the hallway, the hallway temperature was about 15° colder than the room

The design alone makes this place worth returning. I would not hesitate to stay here again

A short but wonderful stay in this beautiful very characteristic B & B within walking distance to downtown Ottawa. The home was very clean with lovely decor throughout including comfortable rooms

The B&B is a great and unique place to stay with a great location in Ottawa. Vittorio as the host is also very friendly and makes a lot of effort with everything. Especially the breakfast is great

Vittorio made an amazing breakfast each morning and was so kind and accommodating and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of when my partner suffered a migraine

We stayed at the Century House for 5 days and it was a great experience! This beautifully renovated B & B is conveniently located for easy walking and biking in downtown Ottawa

Had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast. Impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, a 10-15 min taxi to/from the train station, and a short walk to Ottawa attractions

The bathroom in the room we stayed in was a bit tight, so taller people might have a harder time with it, but we had a lovely stay overall

We booked it fairly last minute but were really happy with our choice! Kevin was really friendly and made an amazing breakfast! All the rules were very easy to follow and he had everything organized including parking situation! Definitely will visit again

I've been to the Avalon Bed & Breakfast 4 times and it's wonderful. The owners, Christine & Brock, are so friendly and accommodating. The room is extremely clean, comfortable and quiet. My favorite part is the breakfast

The floors are a bit squeaky, and it is a little walk to the city, but if you don't mind it it is a great place to visit. Also, they have a beautiful dog named Apollo who is well trained and social

This is a perfect place for tourists from Toronto. The hostess is sweet and she makes a mean breakfast. The place is also very clean, charming and comfortable

We had a wonderful stay! Our room had a musty smell when we first arrived and the bed and pillows weren't the most comfortable but the spa area was lovely! The location was amazing to! Loved how it's not in a busy area.

It was a cute little hotel with a beautiful spa (sauna inside and large hotubs outside) with lots of seating. An empty fridge for you to bring your own snacks. Great location and only 20 min drive to the airport

Yes , I stay here frequently to visit my son and grand children. Hotel is ideally located close to highway, and my wife likes the proximity to shopping center and nearby restaurants.

Only negative would be that there’s no balcony so you have to go outside to smoke, but that ended up to be just fine. As we met lots of really nice people doing the same thing lol

The front desk staff were SUPER helpful at all times. We don’t speak French and aren’t vaccinated, nor do we follow these new government enforced guidelines on mask wearing

I've been here more than once, the staff is always super nice. Price was great. only knock on the place is the suits are a little dated, but overall, the room was fine. Bed was comfy. WiFi works great.

Suites with a full size fridge and stove, toaster, microwave, coffee maker and (huge plus for me!) a legit tea kettle! Lovely outdoor balcony (though the "view" is buildings and parking lots)

I recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott Ottawa hotel and was impressed by its convenient location and friendly staff. The hotel is situated in the heart of Ottawa, close to many popular attractions and restaurants

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you would expect from a top-notch hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure I had a comfortable stay

Overall, I had a great experience at the Courtyard Marriott Ottawa and would definitely recommend it to others

My next complaint is for Marriott as a whole, they advertise "High Speed Internet" and according to the FCC this is speeds over 25mbps, this is a constant issue at all Marriott's in getting you to pay more for their higher speed internet

The staff were extremely accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. There was constant background music audible in our room, 24/7. When asking the front desk, they sent someone to investigate, but nothing changed

The room was very clean, and very modern (I would suggest that it has very recently been refurbished, as has most of the rest of the hotel, except the pool area)

The crew at the front desk, and I feel bad for forgetting their names were super awesome, checked in on the babys condition with me every day as i arrived. Breakfast was good, room was spacious and bed was comfortable

My family and I had an extended stay at this wonderful location! The building had an ample amount of parking with multiple accessible entrances that made it easy to get in and out. The room was so modern and clean

My little family and I really enjoyed staying here. The room fit us 3 well and beds were comfy. Continental breakfast was pretty good. The staff were absolutely amazing and friendly and very attentive

Special mention to their coat rack and bench to make storage and use easier. The bath room was also incredible. The breakfast and breakfast room was phenomenal

The breakfast room had so much room and we were also able to use it later as a hangout place outside of our room. Many other hotels DO NOT have this feature

It was a great stay, we were there for 8 nights, our child was at gatineau hospital and mom and dad rotated in and out to shower and sleep

Myself and partner went for her b-day!! From the checking in we were very happy!! The front desk agents were very helpful and friendly with a smile:) The room was fantastic! It had everything that we needed and them some!! The grounds were very clean(there wasn't even anything the parking lot)We know this because we don't drive lol! All in all out of 5 stars I give them 10! We will be back!...

This motel is very clean and well maintained. Front desk are pleasant and accomodating. All things inside are working. Standard breakfast but the muffins are really good. Would love to stay here again

Excellent value for your money. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the shower is hot with great water pressure, and the fridge is handy. The only downside was the carpet flooring

Everything is within walking distance. Suites are nice so you don't have to eat out all the time. Parking nearby is also great as city Hall has over 700 spots underground and is within 2 minutes walk

This is the perfect place to stay with kids. The hotel is located in walking distance (for a 5 year old) to the canal and parliament buildings. The museum of Natural History is a 5 minute drive

Very comfortable beds and pillows! Restaurant doesn't have the best food in my opinion but there are lots of restaurants nearby on Elgin st. Very convenient to get to the downtown area

Very quiet, excellent location, good price for a full suite with kitchenette. Coopers Grill was open late and the food and beer just right. I'd go back anytime.

Just around the corner is a good selection of restaurants and little shops. Only thing that could be improved is the number of dishes in the kitchen
