Nice bench to hold a suitcase. Reasonable price for downtown area. Wifi works fine and plenty of hot water. Tim Horton on the same block-- I didn't get the pricey breakfast in the hotel

Disappointing that the very nice restaurant /cafe has excellent food and atmosphere but only does breakfast and lunch and closes at 2:00 pm. It was very central and within walking distance of many things

Nothing exceptional from the hospitality side of the overnight team, bit a true sense of hospitality rang loud and clear from any and every interaction of the day time staff and management, from email correspondence with management, to front desk, to staff I passed in the hallway

You only get the 10% off breakfast if you ask reception for a voucher beforehand. Parking is free all weekend at the World Exchange Plaza opposite the hotel (otherwise the hotel takes $20/night)

Nice clean spot. Spacious rooms with a balcony. Great housekeeping. Cool little kitchenette with fridge and microwave. My only minor complaint is that they only have pop machines, no snacks.

Facility is well designed however the bare ceilings and laminate floors/tile are quite loud. That said they are good insulation except for outside traffic; we are not used to cities! Gym was adequate

The rooms are very spacious and the bathroom area had heated floors. The curtains don’t fully block out the light so if you need to room dark the sun will slightly shine through the cracks

It could use a bit more space to allow full body weight workouts. We did not try the food; bar was excellent for us but appeared to be understaffed (those staff at the bar/restaurant were working their tails off)

Stayed in a couple different rooms, all are modern and bright/fresh. Staff are accommodating, attentive, and thoughtful. Definitely recommend checking out the restaurant for dinner or buffet breakfast

Location is perfect if you'd like to explore the central area of Ottawa as it is all within walking distance. Bellmen were fantastic and retrieved vehicle from valet parking quickly

We stayed at the Lord Elgin Hotel the night before our wedding, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant, just what we needed before the big day

The valet service was quick and efficient, though it’s good to know there is a $44 charge per night. Overall, everything felt smooth and well taken care of, and we’re glad we chose to stay there for such a special moment

We spent two nights at the Lord Elgin Hotel. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and very good room darkening curtains. I was also pleased at how quiet the room was

It is a surprisingly good place to stay. The reception is very warm welcoming, our room key was prepared in advance and the check in is very quick. The room (the suite) is very big, clean and with all kinds of amenities

Very clean motel and modern and the service is great me and my hubby as been going here for a good 15 years ..and it has a nice swimming pool too.

The only thing one may concern is that the room decoration is a little old, however not a problem at all

When you book an independent motel, you aren't booking a big chain, recognize the difference and you will be very happy. Stayed for a few days in one of the suites, little dated but roomy, well maintained

The position of the hotel is very good for everything that needs to be done in Downtown. There are plenty of nice restaurants and markets a short distance from the hotel.

Good location. The coffee machine was covered in dust, otherwise everything was perfect.

The car was left in the parking lot the next day. All the attractions were visited on foot. We checked in at all the main attractions, had lunch and drove away. It was very convenient and worth recommending

The location is perfect! not so far from ottawa via rail station and also not far from the ordinary train station. It is also in downtown so it is very easy to go to famous attractions
