Our son and his beautiful bride chose Hilton Lac-Leamy for their wedding party venue this past weekend. Down to last detail our children's dream wedding was realized through staff's attention to every detail from the beautiful room to spacious dance floor; the m-e-m-o-r-a-b-l-e meal and excellent music!! Thank you to everyone at Hilton Lac-Leamy for making our children's Big Day so very special for...
Quite possibly the nicest Hilton property I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve been a diamond member for a long time. Rooms, service, food, the property grounds, pools and spa, the fitness center, all of it is amazing. My only complaint would be its distance from just about anything except the casino.
Wanted to leave a thank you/positive review for the security staff, specifically Roch who located an item I lost/left behind in the room we stayed in and is mailing it back to me. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and responsive. Very clean and lovely rooms, great ball room, breakfast buffet was excellent, I’ll be back! Thank you!
This is easily one of my absolute favourite hotels in all of Canada. I stay at the executive suites while I’m here and the service is fabulous. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable. You get access to their premium lounge, which has a very beautiful view of the surrounding area. I really like the artwork throughout this building. They pay attention to detail. It’s cool that there’s a casino...
We just got back from an overnight stay at this beautiful hotel . Our room overlooking the lake was perfect with every amenity possible . We decided to partake of the hotel/dinner/breakfast option and were not disappointed . We were celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary and were treated like royalty , even down to our desserts with an anniversary wish and candle . Our waiter was professional and...

Hotel itself is a landmark and has its historical value. When we visited the hotel had electricity issues but we were lucky as they resolved our side quickly. The charm of the hotel is on another level. Next to the Rideau Canal and Parliament made it even better. Recommend to book a parliament view room. Highly recommended in my books.
I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback from our recent stay at your property. Firstly, I must commend your team for the warm welcome and efficient check-in process upon our arrival. Our room, boasting two double beds and offering a stunning view of the city and the picturesque fall scene of the Rideau Canal, was indeed spacious and comfortable. The presence of two bathrooms, each with a...
We loved the general ambiance and location of the hotel. Our room was large and light and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Very nice location but old hotel that needs some updates. Our coffee machine did not work as they had it plugged into a power bar that kept blowing fuse’s. The front desk was friendly and quick to respond however the repair man admitted that whoever installed it did a lazy job. Also the blinds in the room are not “black out”. For the price I would have expected better blinds and a coffee maker that...
My (now) fiance took me to the Fairmont for a long weekend away and it was hands down the best place I've ever stayed! He called ahead and let them know he was planning on proposing and they hooked us up with a surprise amazing view. Everything was absolutely perfect!! We'll definitely be back!!!
I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Château Laurier in Ottawa and I couldn't be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to another era with the stunning architecture and elegant decor. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities one could want. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. I also had the...

I travelled to Ottawa for work this weekend and stayed here - I must say that I highly recommend this hotel and location!! I had some issues with checking in due to losing my credit card, and despite the fact that I arrived quite late, the two employees there at the time, Brian and Sherry, were phenomenally accommodating, friendly, and helpful! They found a way to get me checked in quickly and made...
Rooms were clean. TV needed help, front desk came and looked after it personally. Restaurant is OK and convenient in a snow storm, and for breakfast. Pretty fast as well. We got a late check out. Thank you very much.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Ottawa hotel and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the clean and welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. The staff were all friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the things I love most about the Best Western Ottawa...
Reception staff were professional and welcoming, explained to us what we needed to know about their hotel. We had breakfast in their restaurant and were pleased. While in the room, I couldn’t hear any neighbours even though we knew only a few rooms were left - very quiet! Special thanks to Emily who cleaned our room; it was spotless!
This Hotel has all you need for the traveler either for business or pleasure. Staff is great and will take care of all your needs. Adequate internet connection and probably the best televisions I have seen in any hotel.
Starting as soon as I go in the door. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Checking in is fast. Rooms are clean. Beds more comfortable than home. The restaurant is great and food is good, service is friendly and as fast as can be. My family and friends are recommended here every time they travel to Ottawa. Thanks to all staff for making all my stays pleasurable.

We stayed 3 nights in a king bed room. Service is so so, and is pricey for what you get. This room was refreshed and nice but the ceiling in the bathroom is wet, peeling and coming down. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors talking.
We spent 1 night here room was overall clean but floor was wet or slimy and slippery... My daughter had many allergies in the room. Overnight front desk (no service) I just stood there waiting to get extra blankets which they do not have in the room like everywhere else.... All and all we had a good stay even though. We where pretty amazed that we had no noise from train nor highway. Would recommend...
The total experience is 3.5/5 The exterior of the hotel is old but the interior is updated and the rooms are kind of spacious and clean. We were family of 4, two adults and 2 youths and we took the 2 queen bed bedroom, while the room was somehow spacious, the beds didn't feel like queen beds. The breakfast doesn't have a wide variety of options, they do have a coffee machine that have different coffee...
It was all the we needed, 2 queen size beds, clean bathroom, good breakfast, close to some great museums. Check in staff were good, staff helping with breakfast were great. If your on the lower level, they give you parking right outside your room window, super convenient for luggage in and out of the room. WiFi and TV is great entertainment. No swimming pool and gym, etc. You may not need if your doing...
No smoking approach is great. Aside from this nothing really remarkable or outstanding. Usual hotel with standart breakfast and rooms. Not expensive.
I enjoyed staying there. The hotel was very clean and nice. Front desk was amazing they will do their best to help you.
I forgot to mention that the cover was dirty, maybe someone's period. The guys at the front desk was very polite. Thank you.

It is very amazing location in downtown area and everything close by. The staff is wonderful team but there was impolite receptionist who I think her name is Mariam, was talking over the cellphone in the parking lots and me and my husband were smoking in the parking lots and she was using harsh language in Arabic abusing Jews but she didn't know that we were understanding Arabic language. We have visited...
Good Staff service, No breakfast offered, no microwave in the room, paid parking, bad location since lot of homeless people in the neighborhood. Not suitable for family location wise. Very convenient to visit the parliament hill. Check in and out was smooth. Guys at the front desk are helpful.
Our stay in Days Inn was wonderful. Great location, comfy and clean rooms, and the personnel was excellent. They help you with anything you need . I'll stay here again for sure.
The location is apt for walking around the parliament and for major sight seeing. The hotel has access to major transportation facilities. The hotel rooms are small, and they have a tv with blur connection. Otherwise it's good.
We stayed in this restaurant because the proximity to downtown. Location wise is good, is walking distance to major attractions, like The Parliament, the Museum of Art… also it’s close to restaurants, the market and bakery places. The room itself is okay, nothing fancy, we stayed a Friday night, it was very noisy throughout the night. You can hear everything through the thin walls. But that’s not on...
Room was nice and clean - big contrast to the hallway that seemed a bit dingy. But I care more about the room obviously. Standard hotel pillow problem: pillows are too puffy and thus too high for most for sleeping. If you are particularly sensitive to white noise, the constant drone of the fan from the bathroom may bother you. On by default. Overall though was happy with the room. Good value. Hotel...

It was extremely clean and neat and tidy and cute. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.
My stay at the Swiss Hotel was very pleasant. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable, even though it was one of their smaller rooms. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. It is located right downtown and within walking distance from multiple restaurants, Parliament grounds and entertainment. I will definitely plan another stay at the Swiss Hotel during my next stay in Ottawa
My stay at Swiss Hotel was just perfect. I travelled alone for a personal trip. Easy check-in and wonderful service. Not to mention the rooms are just adorable with the cutest little details. Will stay again!
This place is wonderful on the inside. The whole staff is so incredibly welcoming and helpful! The rooms were modern, clean, well-equipped(fireplace, mini fridge, hair dryer & iron, hair & body wash, Nespresso machine, robes, lots of towels), and the bed was fantastic(sheets and towels smelled so clean and were very soft). The only complaint inside is that, being an old building, there is no elevator...
What a wonderful place to stay in downtown Ottawa. The room was large, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff and the owner Sabina were wonderful. We had to stay an extra night than planned and Sabina made that so simple. The complimentary coffee in the morning was lovely. It's so close to the Rideau Centre, Parliament and Byward Market. We will return!
Nice unique place, friendly staff. Bed was too soft for my liking. Major problem is location, not the hotels fault But it has a major impact on your trip. It is right in the middle of Ottawa's major un housed and IV drug problem. On first walk to market, saw people shooting up three different times, and tens of people passed out on the street. Good value for what you pay. I stayed here for a week in Aug 2018 and the room definitely showed its age, though it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Hopefully rates won't rise too much once they finish renovations. Within walking distance to the downtown attractions and even a few across the river, and the many of the bus routes that run through downtown stop only steps away.
Excellent stay, right from the beginning. We have a small cat that we brought with us and they were very accommodating for him and charged a much smaller pet fee then other hotels were quoting. I stay here often. It is not super upscale, but very comfortable. It is a fantastic location, in downtown Ottawa. Staff are friendly. Stayed there for New Year's, the room was quite nice and overall hotel was pretty good, we never got to use any amenities such as the gym or the pool, but we did look at them and it looked appealing. My wife and I went for our 35th wedding anniversary and the stay was wonderful. Good size room, and meal at the restaurant was excellent with great, friendly service. Wonderfully decorated for Christmas. Helpful staff to make you feel at home, but not. Great to get away

Quick things you need to know about Ottawa Marriott Hotel: - CHECK IN AS EARLY AS 7 AM. This is a luxurious, 4-star hotel at the heart of downtown with very low vacancy rate. My family stayed during Christmas season last December 2021. Need I say more about the hotel staff's efficiency? I checked-in around 9 AM on December 26, 2021. Great surrounding area, unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel was closed. The guest service was great, didn’t mention that you need a key to use the elevator (there is a sign, didn’t see it till the end of my stay). Rooms were a nice size with a beautiful view. Very close to the parliament building!
Location is wonderful for getting around Ottawa on foot or by vehicle with many city attractions close by but, the rooms are dated and require some necessary upgrades. The sliding door to our balcony was also half stuck and did not slide freely. Very pricey for a "suite" that looked like it came out of the 60's.
The stay at the marriot was good, but not perfect. Few things could be better, like the rooms were not 100% clean when we checked in. Few missing items were missing as well. The pool was perfect and gym room has all the machines you need for a full body workout.
We stayed there for 5 nights. Nice quiet rooms. Clean. Nice bar/restaurant. Most helpful polite hotel staff that I've encountered after traveling coast to coast this summer.

A decent hotel. Comfortable. Wifi seems to require daily log in and becomes quite unstable on laptop (phone seems OK), which is inconvenient - video meetings interrupted or lost connection. A continuous connection throughout the stay without renewal is preferred.
Great location, friendly staff and decent rooms. Highly displeased with the parking especially after paying 30$ per night. Highly under-maintained, dirty and not at all worth the money. Overall a good place but could be better in terms of the brand Novotel carries.
Great location very close to parliament and other attractions. Room was spacious, bed very comfortable and temperature easy to control. Would have liked a choice of teas in the room. The hotel is worth the price because of the staff! They are all friendly and very helpful. In special, the most wonderful person, Patricia, made our stay so much better! Because of Patricia, we decided that we will always come back to this hotel. If she change jobs, we will follow her wherever she works.
Breakfast is not included, it costs $18. Had a bit argument with the staff about should I tip at buffet. I really confused because it is a buffet and no one was serving me. Googled it a bit and found the advices were divided. Other than that, the room was clean, but has humming noise from the vent. Good location though

My stay here was nice. They upgraded my room, it was clean and the bed comfy. Is was the smell of cigarettes on the third floor that bothered me. Maybe it doesn't always smell that way but seemed pretty set in. Frankly, it's an affordable downtown option. The rooms are large, have patios and all the amenities a suite should offer. My room had a dish washer. If you can handle the smell give it a go

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a leak in the toilet on the last day and immediately someone came to take care of it. The pool was closed but they did offer an alternative, but it was an 8 minute walk so we passed because of the young kids. The rooms are clean and the location is great! Very close to the parliament building!
Amazing front desk experience. The folks at the bar are super friendly too. The one thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star review was the noisy construction in the hotel basement, which I could hear from the 7th floor. Aside from that, it was A1.
Nice hotel, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a good selection of options. Menu items were good too. Room was clean and prepared nicely. Parking garage was under construction but the valet service was still available; great service by the valets.
I travel to Ottawa quite a bit for work and I always stay at the Sheraton. This hotel seems to have the comfiest beds and the service is always excellent. The bar lounge is being renovated so it was a bit hectic and loud in the lobby, and bar service was a little bit slower than normal. The staff are very helpful though and I enjoy staying here.
Decent hotel - room was clean and comfortable. Perhaps a little dated, but overall it did what it needed to do (supply sleeping quarters) Meeting room floor was decently laid out. Neighbourhood is safe and clean, although it's a business district, so super dead outside business hours.
Had a important business meeting Thursday morning, so we decided to drive up to Ottawa Wednesday. We checked in at front desk the lady working was friendly and very professional. As well as the door greeter. Even though I was dressed like a homeless person lol my suite was in my luggage. We grabed our bags and our truck was taken by valet. Pros:Room was spacious and newly renovated. Bed super comfy...

conveniently located; clean and odorless room; nice restaurant
Perfectly clean room. Wonderful staff. Hassle free, problem free stay. Breakfast buffet was great.
Great hotel. This is where I often recommend guests coming to town for conferences at the attached conference room stay. Best tip is to request a room ending in -09. They are a unique room that is located behind the elevators on each floor. You enter through a door between the elevators. They are dead silent inside as there is a second interior door so absolutely no sound from the hallway makes...
Great hotel with outdoor and underground parking. Room size and comfort typical for similarly rated hotels. Rooms were quiet. Service was good. Breakfast is not included for every guest, but likely dependant on Marriot membership level. Overall value was good. Location was great, 2 minutes from St Laurent shopping and about 10 minutes to Rideau Centre. Similar travel time to Byward market and a few...
Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Beds was comfortable and was able to get a great night's sleep. Very good security measures in place to insure only authorized guests can access the room floors.
Very large rooms, ideal for a family traveling together. Excellent work keeping the place looking meticulously clean by the friendly housekeeping staff. Ideal location if using the conference center.
