Quite possibly the nicest Hilton property I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve been a diamond member for a long time. Rooms, service, food, the property grounds, pools and spa, the fitness center, all of it is amazing. My only complaint would be its distance from just about anything except the casino.

Hotel itself is a landmark and has its historical value. When we visited the hotel had electricity issues but we were lucky as they resolved our side quickly. The charm of the hotel is on another level. Next to the Rideau Canal and Parliament made it even better. Recommend to book a parliament view room. Highly recommended in my books.

We stayed 3 nights in a king bed room. Service is so so, and is pricey for what you get. This room was refreshed and nice but the ceiling in the bathroom is wet, peeling and coming down. The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors talking.

We spent 1 night here room was overall clean but floor was wet or slimy and slippery... My daughter had many allergies in the room. Overnight front desk (no service) I just stood there waiting to get extra blankets which they do not have in the room like everywhere else.... All and all we had a good stay even though. Good value for what you pay. I stayed here for a week in Aug 2018 and the room definitely showed its age, though it was clean and the bed was comfortable. Hopefully rates won't rise too much once they finish renovations. Within walking distance to the downtown attractions and even a few across the river, and the many of the bus routes that run through downtown stop only steps away.

I am enjoying my stay at the Westin. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is really good. The TV in the room has a personalized greeting, and the shower stall is roomy My only beef is the elevators make you select your room number before you enter them, which seems strange to me.

Thatcher was very welcoming and friendly when we first arrived. You can tell they care about the work. Our dog came with us and it was so comfortable. The pool was great and the gym was pretty good except many machines were in maintenance. I only tried the Cafe but it was great service and simple yummy food!

Great surrounding area, unfortunately the restaurant in the hotel was closed. The guest service was great, didn’t mention that you need a key to use the elevator (there is a sign, didn’t see it till the end of my stay). Rooms were a nice size with a beautiful view. Location is wonderful for getting around Ottawa on foot or by vehicle with many city attractions close by but, the rooms are dated and require some necessary upgrades. The sliding door to our balcony was also half stuck and did not slide freely. Very pricey for a "suite" that looked like it came out of the 60's.

The stay at the marriot was good, but not perfect. Few things could be better, like the rooms were not 100% clean when we checked in. Few missing items were missing as well. The pool was perfect and gym room has all the machines you need for a full body workout.

Really well located hotel near parliament hill, close to a few of the nice Ottawa museums, and right at the by market. Each room is in its own little 2-3 rooms nook so there’s no noise issues from the corridor. And you get included water, chips, chocolate and Coca Cola included in the room, which is a nice touch! Stayed 2 nights with my wife and kids and everyone was happy and comfortable with our room. The pool especially was a very nice temperature, there was a hot tub as well. Very nice, elegant hotel right in downtown Ottawa. The room service is perfection. Hotel is super clean. The price for the room you are getting is almost unbelievable. not bad, I was pretty ok with the place, room 118, ground level, clean room, good hot water in the shower, stayed there over the family day long weekend, close to the market for a good walk. Breakfast was good, coffee was hot, parking was tight, a lot of snow so I get it. yeah I would stay there again.

It was a clean place to sleep. The breakfast was simple but starchy. The best shawarma place is supposed to be across the street from it but I wasn't able to try it out. It is also really close to the core Parliament area especially if you need to be somewhere near Sussex drive.

It was a very comfortable stay at Econo Lodge. The room was super clean with all the basic things included. Speaking about location, it's in the heart of the downtown making it easy for any commute. I regularly use the Rideau Heights Inn when I am teaching the motorcycle course in Ottawa. I love it. The staff have always been very good to me. I can park right by the door to my room. The rooms are always clean. The location is great. The price is very reasonable. I recommend this highly.

Great place to stay! The room was so very spacious! Many amenities, and so close to everything in town! We arrived early, and we were able to check in. We were grateful for it. Traveling with a car full of things helped to check in early. Friendly, helpful check in. I would recommend to stay here, if in the area.

Stayed here over weekend family trip/work trip. Suites are well sized for price and have good amenities, exception is no restaurant/coffee shop. Note there is a small grocer next door for supplies.

My stay here was nice. They upgraded my room, it was clean and the bed comfy. Is was the smell of cigarettes on the third floor that bothered me. Maybe it doesn't always smell that way but seemed pretty set in. Frankly, it's an affordable downtown option. The rooms are large, have patios and all the amenities a suite should offer. My room had a dish washer. If you can handle the smell give it a go

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. We had a leak in the toilet on the last day and immediately someone came to take care of it. The pool was closed but they did offer an alternative, but it was an 8 minute walk so we passed because of the young kids. The rooms are clean and the location is great! Very close to the parliament building!

Amazing front desk experience. The folks at the bar are super friendly too. The one thing that keeps me from giving a 5 star review was the noisy construction in the hotel basement, which I could hear from the 7th floor. Aside from that, it was A1.

Nice hotel, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was very nice with a good selection of options. Menu items were good too. Room was clean and prepared nicely. Parking garage was under construction but the valet service was still available; great service by the valets.

I travel to Ottawa quite a bit for work and I always stay at the Sheraton. This hotel seems to have the comfiest beds and the service is always excellent. The bar lounge is being renovated so it was a bit hectic and loud in the lobby, and bar service was a little bit slower than normal. The staff are very helpful though and I enjoy staying here.

Decent hotel - room was clean and comfortable. Perhaps a little dated, but overall it did what it needed to do (supply sleeping quarters) Meeting room floor was decently laid out. Neighbourhood is safe and clean, although it's a business district, so super dead outside business hours.

Great hotel. This is where I often recommend guests coming to town for conferences at the attached conference room stay. Best tip is to request a room ending in -09. They are a unique room that is located behind the elevators on each floor. You enter through a door between the elevators. Great hotel with outdoor and underground parking. Room size and comfort typical for similarly rated hotels. Rooms were quiet. Service was good. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Beds was comfortable and was able to get a great night's sleep. Very good security measures in place to insure only authorized guests can access the room floors.

Very large rooms, ideal for a family traveling together. Excellent work keeping the place looking meticulously clean by the friendly housekeeping staff. Ideal location if using the conference center.
