Oak Bay Beach Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, the high standard of hygiene and the great service really stood out.
Very Good Hotel, My wife and I enjoyed the hotel. Will be back again.
A short , but very pleasant stay. The Snug Pub is excellent!
Not a 5-star place but okay. Spa and pool facilities were partially closed which was extremely inconvenient. They charge extra fee for onsite self-parking which is not reasonable. Staff is polite and friendly but not everyone. Our room was clean and fabulous. Restaurants are small and overpriced. My personal impression: 3/5.
old fashion Very good! The SPA faces the sea, the restaurant in the hotel is not expensive and the taste is good.
Nestled in the serene and picturesque landscape of Victoria, British Columbia, Oak Bay Beach Hotel offers an experience that seamlessly blends luxury, comfort, and stunning natural beauty. My stay at this boutique seaside hotel was nothing short of exceptional.
Location and Ambiance:
The location is a standout feature. Perched on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, the hotel provides breathtaking views...

The Magnolia Hotel and Spa
Victoria, 623 Courtney St 🧭 Map
Pleasant folk working here, very close to the Harbour. Very clean and inviting. Lost one star bc, at Can$500 per night, if I ask for a noon check out and housekeeping comes in before 11- there's a communication issue. I didn't appreciate that.
Very comfortable place to stay. Perfect location for visiting Victoria, as everything is within walking distance. Staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, and personable, to ensure our stay was the best possible. Room upgrade not necessary as the view is not what we were lead to believe.
Fantastic upscale hotel in Victoria downtown. The room was spotlessly clean, even though it was a dog friendly room. Everything inside the room just made sense from a large TV to Dyson hair dryer to some tea bags from a renowned Chinatown tea room. Location wise it was really easy to reach everything on foot. The valet and maid services were very efficient. It would have been even greater if there...
Loved this hotel! Every little detail felt really thought thru to ensure guests felt pampered and relaxed. I usually don’t like to hang out in a hotel room but as it turned out, we did and it was great. The room felt so clean and fresh. All the amenities were available with quality products. Temp was perfect. The Magnolia is a boutique hotel so it is a smaller hotel but provides a lovely intimate oasis...
Great place to stay in Victoria! Friendly staff, highly clean rooms and fancy toiletries! Bath robe is worth having, should have bought it. Very convenient location to walk around the town, places to visit. And they have a charging station for electric vehicles. I used paid valet parking.
Spacious room, well furnished, with a seating area. Plenty of space, and room for clothes. Nice large windows. Coffee, tea and hot cider available most of the day. Excellent location. A very short walk to the harbor, in one direction, and a multitude of restaurants in the other direction.

Shoreview Getaway
Victoria, 3037 Shoreview Dr, Victoria, BC V9B 4K6, Canada 🧭 Map
The two of us had a wonderful time at Shoreview. The house was perfect for us, as was the location on the lake. The house is very well supplied and very clean. The pellet stove was great on some cold winter mornings. Janette was most hospitable and helpful. We recommend it.
Great hostess, beautiful house overlooking Glen Lake, highly recommended!
This home is so good it is almost unbelievable. This home is immaculate, you could eat off the floor. Anything that you need is at your fingertips and many things that you never even considered needing like dog food, a teapot, red Solo cups and spices. The whole house is tastefully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the garden and terras are an oasis with a fire pit. I will find a reason...
Great quiet place to relax and still be close to the craziness of Victoria.
Felt just like home! Deer eating the apples..family of quail! Close to amenities and public parks! Would definitely go again!

The environment is first-class, in the heart of the old city port area, across the street from the city's landmark Parliament Building. However, the facilities are a bit old, especially the air conditioner, which is a bit noisy. Some waiters have good service attitudes.
Spacious and clean, perfect sunset harbor view from the window but toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided
Although the building is old, the room is very clean and bright, and the decoration is very tasteful. All kinds of sanitary products are available, and it feels like home! The most praiseworthy thing is the big bed, which is not only clean and tidy, but also gives you a "weightless" feeling when sleeping on it! The hotel is located in the seaside harbor, surrounded by British shops and various restaurants...
The staff are very nice, and everything is clean. As a clean freak, I would definitely choose this hotel if I come to Victoria again.
Fairmont seems to be a luxurious five star hotel. Nevertheless it’s a bit over-expected. The room is very small, and the toilet can only be used by one single person each time, which is very inconvenient if you go with young kids. High tea quality is unexpectedly low, the environment is good but the staff are not enough. The food is simply not delicate for such a renowned five star restaurant.

Great location, clean rooms. Got the signature harbor view room and view is as described.
The room was a bit cramped, lacking a second bedside table, and the bathroom was very tight. The bed and bedding were excellent. It is nice to find a choice of thick and thinner pillows. The Courtyard cafe needs more seating. The parking fee was high. A few negatives but they are mostly outweighed by the excellent downtown location within walking distance of everything we had planned to see and...
Overall very good stay and will definitely check in again thanks
A quick staycation to relax and soak in the hot tub and float in the pool. Great place to recharge the batteries before starting a new job on Monday.
The grat stay . The only negative point was that it didn't have a breakfast buffet.
Top notch service. Corner suite on the 6th floor had a killer view of the harbor and parliament building. Walking distance from restaurant and the BC museum. Really appreciated having a sitting space separate from the bedroom.
Everything was very nice but room not newly remodeled. Nonetheless, looking forward to an opportunity to stay there again.

Great service. Asked for a crib and it was at the room before I unloaded my bags of car. Later asked for a microwave and it was a the room in few minutes.
The only concern is the gym.. The gym is very poor. I wish the hotel would have heavier dumbbells (maximum weight there is 50lb),- for example, couple adjustable 90lb dumbbells, and one universal cable machine would be great.
best part during my stay were the staff and the location. Their washrooms really need upgrade, room looked modern but washroom took me to the 80s. one of the elevators weren’t working during my entire stay-wed to Saturday, had to wait for so long
While this is a Marriott, (so you kind of expect a "chain" experience), the staff here make all the difference and take the time to look after guests. The manager was present and very attentive too. Traveling with dogs can be problematic and stressful, but they even had suggestions for local eateries that welcome dogs on the patio... The location is also a perfect blend of central yet quiet, with safe...
Cera from the front desk was beyond welcoming, warm, and thoughtful. She was knowledgeable of the area and made great suggestions that accommodated our kids needs/ interests
This property is located close to downtown and the harbour, making it quick and easy to walk to or catch a bus to our destinations.
Service started at the front door with a smile and continued with front desk staff always available and friendly.
The bed here was probably the most comfortable one I've ever slept on in a hotel. Temperature was easy to control and noise levels were great as the property...
Great hotel, very nice rooms, excellent room service. Overall, this is a new fave for my coworkers who travel here on business very frequently, 6 of us were staying here in 6 separate rooms. My room was not cleaned. I found out in the afternoon and informed the hotel, but they did not tell me that the cleaner had gone off duty. I had to go to the front desk to ask for new towels. The service was zero.
Very convenient location in the city center, great view from the room window
The hotel facilities are average and clean. Disposable facilities such as slippers, combs, toothbrushes, etc. are not provided. There is no bottled water or kettle. It is wise to upgrade to a view room for an extra fee. The only bright spot is that the hotel is in an excellent location, facing the street view in the city center.
It's quite clean, and it's very convenient to walk on the beach. The sea view is also nice. But if you drive a large off-road vehicle, the hotel parking lot cannot park there, and you have to park in a public parking lot some distance from the hotel. Overall, it feels good.
Extremely comfortable rooms and overall a great time staying in the hotel the location was absolutely terrific, you are close to the parliament building the museum government street and the fishermen’s wharf. Almost everything you need to do is on 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. And the view was absolutely stunning you can watch boats take off and sea planes land. We wanted to love our stay, but unfortunately we were disappointed. We chose this hotel because it was our first get away as parents without our daughter, and thought it sounded lovely with the views and amenities.

Came here for a wedding. The room was perfect. Spacious and clean and had everything I needed.
The hotel is an easy walk to anything one would need and has a great restaurant option if you want something close.
This hotel is AMAZING! Hotel and Rooms are very very clean and modern, staff is extremely friendly and helpful and hotel is so close to everything downtown while also providing enough distance (across a bridge) to feel your car and yourself are both secure. Views from harbour view rooms are amazing.
I stayed here for 4 nights in a harbour view room 812 and was very impressed with this hotel and staff...
This is far from a 4 star hotel. Probably 2.5 star is a more accurate rating. Toilet takes forever to fill, shower head is in the middle of the bath tub shooting straight out to the middle of the bathroom. Towels are old and paper thin. Air conditioner wasn’t working properly. Was told if the fix didn’t work could open the window for nighttime cooling. Staff is good and service prompt. This Marriott...
Love staying here. Been coming here for years, even before Marriott took over as owners. Rooms are clean, well appointed and stocked, we were in a newly renovated room and it was very nicely done. Great location on the water with a short walk over the bridge to shops and restaurants or a fun water taxi ride, if you prefer.
I have to rave about Delta Hotel. Everything here is just perfect and brings so much happiness. The hotel service is exceptionally attentive, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Since we arrived at the hotel before 11 am, after taking the earliest ferry to Victoria, the front desk (a gentle lady with glasses and black hair) kindly prioritized our check-in, promising to accommodate us as soon as a...

great weekend in Victoria - this is by far the best hotel we've stayed in for the price in Vic. Location is perfect, the staff at the front is amazing and the restaurant (Blue Crab) is great. Really clean rooms and spacious for all of our gear we were travelling with. Can't believe the price we got for it - honestly better than we expected! We loved the warm pool and hot tub too. We're staying here...
Really enjoyed our overnight stay. Booked 3 rooms as our family came over and we all enjoyed the hotel. The bidet was unusual but we ended up liking it! Had a wonderful night stay here this past weekend. The concierge was great and the shuttle into town was a nice amenity. My husband loved that the pool opened at 6 and the view while swimming.

The staff at the front desk were amazing...very friendly and any time we needed something they would get it for us. We were there for 12 nights and the only complaints I have is about the housekeeping staff...for example...when I asked one of the guys to clean the toilet he brushed inside the bowl a little bit...leaving it still dirty inside and he did not clean the outside at all. Second to none. Beautiful rooms with many thoughtful details and amenities, including an extremely comfortable bed. Great location, only a few blocks from the Inner Harbour. Fantastic breakfast every day. And enough cannot be said about the service - warm, friendly, and personal at all times. We can't wait to come back.
The Abigail hotel was a pretty unique experience.
It’s a charming place, serviced by friendly staff and filled with pleasant surprises. Rooms are comfortable, well-kept, and of course, clean. While it comes off as rustic, it feels like it has been recently renovated. There’s an attention to detail that doesn’t go unnoticed.

A truly classic British style hotel. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and really clean. There were two sets of stairs though! It’s a beautiful building but it’s really old. It’s like frozen in time. The elevator did not work which is a problem with taking your luggage to your room. The electric installations are inefficient. The bathroom was very small. The TV sistem is really slow. It’s a good place but has a lot of things to improve.
Nice option in walking distance to everything
We very much enjoyed our stay here. Didn’t realize about the dress code until we received an email, but it wasn’t a problem as we didn’t plan to use facilities beyond entering/exiting the hotel. Amazing location, close to everything and walkable. Lots of old world charm and very nice staff. Don't book this place if you don't want to adhere to their dress code -- they make it very clear, and it's part of the charm.

The luxurious historical aesthetics of the hotel and rooms were excellent. It is beautiful and elegant. The room was comfortable, and spacious. Guests with mobility issues may find some challenges.
This is a super location for exploring Victoria. The room was spacious and had a lovely bathroom. The hotel is not really a hotel as we would know it. No air con. We got a suite with a great view and comfortable layout. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They provided us with early check in and late check out as well. Would highly recommend staying here.
Pretty good. Their Internet connection is a bit of a pain in the butt to connect to. They should just include parking in their rates. You either get to pay for valet parking or find parking somewhere on the streets.
Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is clean, fresh, and newly remodeled. Very quiet. Great location. 2nd time to stay there and will be back! Completely recommend.
Amazing staff and great hotel. The rooms are beautiful. We had a room on the 17th floor (top) with a balcony and it was just phenomenal. There is a restaurant in the hotel (table 21) with a good breakfast buffet as well as another pub below the hotel with live music and great food. The only part we didn’t love about our stay was that there was no video on demand on the tv. This was a minor amenity...
Very good service. We were originally placed in a room that was next to a small baby who would cry frequently. When we asked politely to move they accommodated us immediately.
