Victoria, 721 Government St 🧭 Map
All kinds of sanitary products are available, and it feels like home! The most praiseworthy thing is the big bed, which is not only clean and tidy, but also gives you a "weightless" feeling when sleeping on it! The hotel is located in the seaside harbor, surrounded by British shops and various restaurants and bars, giving people the illusion of going to Europe
The staff are very nice, and everything is clean. As a clean freak, I would definitely choose this hotel if I come to Victoria again.
Spacious and clean, perfect sunset harbor view from the window but toothbrush and toothpaste were not provided
Although the building is old, the room is very clean and bright, and the decoration is very tasteful
The manager didn’t call me the next day, not until the day after. The manager reported that the best they could offer me was a 20% discount on another service
The environment is first-class, in the heart of the old city port area, across the street from the city's landmark Parliament Building

Hotel Grand Pacific
Victoria, 463 Belleville St. #3 🧭 Map
The Courtyard cafe needs more seating. A few negatives but they are mostly outweighed by the excellent downtown location within walking distance of everything we had planned to see and do
Our family recently stayed for two nights and from the start, Everyone ( Front Desk, restaurant, Cafe, Pool/Sauna/Fitness, in-room service) we met were very friendly & welcoming but SPECIAL shut out to Crystal & Rea (Front Desk), who very promptly and efficiently resolved an issue with our reservations
Great location, clean rooms. Got the signature harbor view room and view is as described.
The room was a bit cramped, lacking a second bedside table, and the bathroom was very tight. The bed and bedding were excellent. It is nice to find a choice of thick and thinner pillows
Corner suite on the 6th floor had a killer view of the harbor and parliament building. Walking distance from restaurant and the BC museum. Really appreciated having a sitting space separate from the bedroom
Everything was very nice but room not newly remodeled. Nonetheless, looking forward to an opportunity to stay there again.
Major flaw was the pool, sauna area was part of an attached gym

Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour
Victoria, 728 Humboldt St 🧭 Map
best part during my stay were the staff and the location. Their washrooms really need upgrade, room looked modern but washroom took me to the 80s
While this is a Marriott, (so you kind of expect a "chain" experience), the staff here make all the difference and take the time to look after guests. The manager was present and very attentive too
The location is also a perfect blend of central yet quiet, with safe parking, and the room we were given was huge, clean, smelled pleasant and the bed was super comfy
Traveling with dogs can be problematic and stressful, but they even had suggestions for local eateries that welcome dogs on the patio
This property is located close to downtown and the harbour, making it quick and easy to walk to or catch a bus to our destinations
This was our second visit, and I'm sure we will be back!

Victoria, 680 Montreal St 🧭 Map
The only bright spot is that the hotel is in an excellent location, facing the street view in the city center
Extremely comfortable rooms and overall a great time staying in the hotel the location was absolutely terrific, you are close to the parliament building the museum government street and the fishermen’s wharf
Almost everything you need to do is on 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. And the view was absolutely stunning you can watch boats take off and sea planes land
But if you drive a large off-road vehicle, the hotel parking lot cannot park there, and you have to park in a public parking lot some distance from the hotel
It's quite clean, and it's very convenient to walk on the beach
The hotel facilities are average and clean. Disposable facilities such as slippers, combs, toothbrushes, etc. There is no bottled water or kettle. It is wise to upgrade to a view room for an extra fee

Victoria, 1175 Beach Dr 🧭 Map
Oak Bay Beach Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing
The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, the high standard of hygiene and the great service really stood out
old fashion Very good! The SPA faces the sea, the restaurant in the hotel is not expensive and the taste is good.
Very Good Hotel, My wife and I enjoyed the hotel. Will be back again.
A short , but very pleasant stay. The Snug Pub is excellent!
My suite was equipped with a cozy fireplace, a luxurious bathroom with a deep soaking tub, and a private balcony overlooking the ocean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep

Victoria, 146 Kingston St 🧭 Map
great weekend in Victoria - this is by far the best hotel we've stayed in for the price in Vic. Location is perfect, the staff at the front is amazing and the restaurant (Blue Crab) is great
I wish the restaurant was open for dinner on a Tues night (but hubby enjoyed breakfast there on Wed morn) and other than that - a really good stay
The bidet was unusual but we ended up liking it! And the best part was how responsive the front desk was with the texting option
Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping in the downtown Victoria. Water taxi available right by the hotel during the day!Hotel was very nice with beautiful views. Shower had good pressure and lots of hot water
Service and food was excellent. Had breakfasts, a dinner and one night just drinks at the lounge and all were great.
Arrive in town for business and was greeting with smiles ! From front receptionist desk to staff just waking around. and to my surprise, I'm the guest of the day !!! Awesome news , but I left my credit card at home

The Magnolia Hotel and Spa
Victoria, 623 Courtney St 🧭 Map
The spa is also amazing and the restaurant has top notch food and cocktails (and of course incredible service)
Pleasant folk working here, very close to the Harbour. Lost one star bc, at Can$500 per night, if I ask for a noon check out and housekeeping comes in before 11- there's a communication issue
Very comfortable place to stay. Perfect location for visiting Victoria, as everything is within walking distance. Staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, and personable, to ensure our stay was the best possible
Great place to stay in Victoria! Friendly staff, highly clean rooms and fancy toiletries! Bath robe is worth having, should have bought it. Very convenient location to walk around the town, places to visit
Loved this hotel! Every little detail felt really thought thru to ensure guests felt pampered and relaxed. I usually don’t like to hang out in a hotel room but as it turned out, we did and it was great
Everything inside the room just made sense from a large TV to Dyson hair dryer to some tea bags from a renowned Chinatown tea room. Location wise it was really easy to reach everything on foot

Accent Inns Victoria
Victoria, 3233 Maple St 🧭 Map
The room was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! The duck theming throughout the property was quirky, and definitely appreciated
I spent a week in Victoria in May with my husband, and we stayed at the Accent Inn on Maple street
The service was impeccable and there is communication everywhere as to what amenities are available, who to contact and although we didn't need service, I felt the staff would be very attentive to any need
Accent Inns offers free bike rentals for guests as well. Location is good, a short drive or convenient bus ride to downtown Victoria
The room is a motel room, it was clean and as expected, but nothing fancy. But what puts this place over the top is the service. Staff were all incredibly friendly, accommodating, and willing to go above and beyond
We had a great experience with this location. The kids loved the rubber ducks (and extras were provided so each child got one!) and the doggie bags were a nice touch

Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel
Victoria, 642 Johnson St 🧭 Map
I booked this hotel for a four night stay. Location is perfect, ten minute stroll to the Parliament buildings. Walking distance to all pubs and restaurants
1 block from the government street. The staff often texted us checking in on us to see if everything is alright. However, the floors (not carpeted) were super dirty. I do not believe they have ever mopped it
The only complaint is that the towels were very thin and scratchy. All in all, we would definitely return to this Best Western
A gem of a hotel if you can manage a little bit of noise. My husband was working out of town in Victoria so my son and I decided to tag along and get a vacation out of it at the same time. The hotel location is amazing
We stayed here knowing we'd be doing some walking so the location wasn't a huge deal to us. If you're not super mobile, I'd suggest a hotel closer to the wharf. walk to the waterfront if you're going straight there
It is walking distance to basically everything. It is located on a busier street so you can hear the road noise in your room. The hotel is aware of this and kindly provides earplugs for those this may affect

Capital CityCenter Hotel
Victoria, 1961 Douglas Street 🧭 Map
Has good parking and is centrally located. A bus stop nearby is very handy and a lot of restaurants are within walking distance. The hotel has been renovated and the rooms are nice and clean
Good service, free parking, 6 min walk to downtown. The rooms were nice and clean. I have no complaints, I would stay there again. We had 3 adults and 2 toddlers. We used the pool, it was nice but super windy that day.
All clean, nice bed and bedding. Our washroom was showing a bit of wear, but was clean and functional. Food in the restaurant was very good (much better than the semi-sad decor had us expecting)
The price was very good compared to other hotels and in the city and I feel that I got the nicest hotel in Victora for this price point
The “City Center Hotel” is a pretty good hotel near downtown of Victoria. The room was clean and contained a small kitchen
A good basic hotel close to the Memorial Centre so great for people going to a concert or hockey game. The building is older and looks pretty plain. The rooms have been updated and have modern decor

Best Western Plus Inner Harbour
Victoria, 412 Quebec Street 🧭 Map
Considering the other hotels in the area that serve excellent breakfast there's no excuse for the repetitive and unappetizing breakfast that was served in the six days I stayed there
The rooms were exceptionally clean with housekeeping being very attentive and friendly. The service was excellent, but the breakfast was willfully meager and disappointing
Stayed two nights, it was everything a good hotel should be. Our room had a nice quiet outside patio, a safe, small kitchenette, with table & chairs, fridge, microwave etc
Close to the small ferries and government house. Pool was outdoors and really enjoyable. Breakfast on site was delicious everyday we were there. Room was perfect for me, my daughter and 2 grandsons
The staff was friendly and accommodating. The included hot breakfast was good and the location was excellent for sightseeing in Victoria

The service and food is terrific here! One of the best Sunday brunches in Victoria!
The hotel is dated, however, it is well kept, clean, and friendly service. The breakfast was very nice and a great location
Super good location, which is just next to the Legislative Assembly. We got a room with a very good view. We enjoyed the breakfast very much to start our day.
The staff was wonderful, very approachable, and welcoming. The location is excellent, well kept and clean room. There was a slight problem with the room we had, but it was all taken care of by staff name Chelshe
Great Location in Downtown! Very Clean and Comfortable Bedding!
Always exceeds my expectations and friendly, helpful staff.

Shoreview Getaway
Victoria, 3037 Shoreview Dr, Victoria, BC V9B 4K6, Canada 🧭 Map
This home is so good it is almost unbelievable. This home is immaculate, you could eat off the floor
The two of us had a wonderful time at Shoreview. The house was perfect for us, as was the location on the lake. The house is very well supplied and very clean. The pellet stove was great on some cold winter mornings
The whole house is tastefully decorated, the beds are very comfortable and the garden and terras are an oasis with a fire pit. I will find a reason to come back to the Shoreview Getaway
Anything that you need is at your fingertips and many things that you never even considered needing like dog food, a teapot, red Solo cups and spices
Felt just like home! Deer eating the apples..family of quail! Close to amenities and public parks! Would definitely go again!
Great quiet place to relax and still be close to the craziness of Victoria.

Convient location and easy parking. Jessie was the best!
Good space, parking and close to mall for necessary needs. Dog friendly and close to restaurants.
They provided nice and honest service!
My daughter left her allowance on the shelf accidentally then a cleaning staff took it (of course) but
when she explained that it wasn’t tip, they returned it to her
I was very touched by their response. It’s located in front of a mall.
We will definitely be back this hotel
We liked well renovated rooms and pop decorations. The pool was not specious but my daughter had fun with it

Abigail's Hotel
Victoria, 906 McClure Street 🧭 Map
Kudos to the 2 resident chefs who even made and baked all the yummy baked goods themselves! And a great plus is the hotel is so near within walking distance to downtown and many places
Short version: This was an amazing place to stay during our trip to Victoria! Not only was the place beautiful and well maintained, but the people working here were incredibly nice and helpful! The location is an easy walk from downtown and close to lots of dining options too
While it comes off as rustic, it feels like it has been recently renovated. There’s an attention to detail that doesn’t go unnoticed. Breakfast was fantastic, a cherry on top of the already pleasant experience
A truly classic British style hotel. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and really clean. There were two sets of stairs though! Everything looks very Victorian and fits the city of Victoria very well
My 2 friends and I just returned from Victoria had an amazing week stay at Abigail’s. The staff are so friendly and attentive and very helpful. The included breakfasts are amazing and the menu changes daily
The hotel is within walking distance to Victoria downtown. Our room was pretty quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful and also assisted us in lifting our heavy suitcases up the staircase

It's unfortunate that the parking is limited and the neighborhood is a bit sketchy. The hotel does have a good security system in place to combat the neighborhood issues. The staff are very welcoming and friendly
The hotel has really comfortable beds, awesome pillows, great water pressure, and atmosphere. There is a slight smell to the hotel that is not completely unpleasant. It kind of smells like old books
We were able to see the Victoria Day Parade from our room! Only disadvantage is you can hear traffic sound at night, if you are sensitive then book a room that doesn’t face the Main Street!
close to shopping and food downtown, but also close to homeless sleeping in doorways and wandering around. at the right price, say under $175 a night, not a bad option
Room was decent enough, but nothing special or nearing luxury. the problem is you are paying luxury prices in summer season for a clean but budget style hotel
but with the high season rates you are getting really ripped off. might as well spend more to get more at that point. front desk staff was nice and friendly

The luxurious historical aesthetics of the hotel and rooms were excellent. It is beautiful and elegant. The room was comfortable, and spacious. Guests with mobility issues may find some challenges.
Don't book this place if you don't want to adhere to their dress code -- they make it very clear, and it's part of the charm. The breakfasts and dinner we had at the restaurant were even better than expected
Some of the rooms have been redone, and so have not, so there is a variety of quality there. If you can splurge for the harbor view, it's lovely. May want to ask if the room you'll be assigned has been remodeled
Also, the elevator is still out; we knew it was being remodeled in June, but thought the work was sheduled to be complete by end of June. It was still going on in the first week of July, just FYI
There aren't enough plugs for modern electronics near the bedside, which I guess isn't surprising, but also a little frustrating in 2025
Has a lot of charm to it and is in the perfect location in Victoria near the Harbour. Note: if you have mobility issues: it looks like after a few months, the elevator is still not functioning

Swans Brewery, Pub and Hotel
Victoria, 506 Pandora Ave. 🧭 Map
Food was good. Beer was good. The sangria was watered down. Service was fast and good.
Their price is good for victoria in that prime location. I stayed on the 3rd floor, and the room was spacious and clean. They don't have any air conditioning or fancy furniture in the room
Front desk lady Jocelyn made us feel welcome and was very helpful. She was our favorite front desk lady. Do wish the hotel guests didn't have to walk around to the front entrance of the pub
We were here for a wedding, and it was a perfect venue setup! We were just a few doors down from the party, and super impressed at how contained the sound was (our toddler slept through it all) Loft suite is super spacious with a full kitchen which is great
All we need after a long day of sight seeing is to relax in a hot tub or a pool. This hotel doesn't have a pool, but they should at least provide hot water for us to shower and relax
It’s an older building so what it lacks in modern hotel details like outlets near the bed, toiletries/amenities, up to date bathroom and furniture, it makes up for in character!

Incuded breakfast was excellent with lots of variety including fresh baked goods and fresh fruit as well as variety of eggs, bacon, potatoes etc. Chef friendly and informative.
I reason I gave it a 4 star rating and not lower was due to Jeff making an excellent breakfast and being very personable
For breakfast we were served poached eggs, hash browns, mushrooms, toast, fruits, sausage, bacon and more which was delicious. There is even a book room to watch old VCR movies
The room we had was spacious and had a jet bath tub which I find is rather more practical than the vintage bath tubs at other places
An absolutely fantastic stay! The house and garden are beautiful and the breakfast is fresh and delicious
Lovely place, very kind and welcoming host. Feels like travelling back in time , wonderful experience

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria

There is a restaurant in the hotel (table 21) with a good breakfast buffet as well as another pub below the hotel with live music and great food
Pretty good. Their Internet connection is a bit of a pain in the butt to connect to. They should just include parking in their rates. You either get to pay for valet parking or find parking somewhere on the streets.
Great location for walking to places in the Inner Harbor area; many restaurant choices nearby. Valet parking only. Very good breakfast buffet. Would stay here again.
Wonderful hotel. Restaurant 21 was excellent. Suite had beautiful city view. Would stay again
We saw some incredible sunrises from our balcony and there was even an incredible view of the city from the skylight and window in the bathroom. Would definitely stay here again and opt for a “view” room when booking
We were originally placed in a room that was next to a small baby who would cry frequently. When we asked politely to move they accommodated us immediately. The room was clean and the location is great for walking
