The environment is first-class, in the heart of the old city port area, across the street from the city's landmark Parliament Building. However, the facilities are a bit old, especially the air conditioner, which is a bit noisy. Some waiters have good service attitudes.

Although the building is old, the room is very clean and bright, and the decoration is very tasteful. All kinds of sanitary products are available, and it feels like home! The most praiseworthy thing is the big bed, which is not only clean and tidy, but also gives you a "weightless" feeling when sleeping on it! The hotel is located in the seaside harbor, surrounded by British shops and various restaurants...

The staff are very nice, and everything is clean. As a clean freak, I would definitely choose this hotel if I come to Victoria again.

Fairmont seems to be a luxurious five star hotel. Nevertheless it’s a bit over-expected. The room is very small, and the toilet can only be used by one single person each time, which is very inconvenient if you go with young kids. High tea quality is unexpectedly low, the environment is good but the staff are not enough. The food is simply not delicate for such a renowned five star restaurant.

The room was a bit cramped, lacking a second bedside table, and the bathroom was very tight. The bed and bedding were excellent. It is nice to find a choice of thick and thinner pillows. A quick staycation to relax and soak in the hot tub and float in the pool. Great place to recharge the batteries before starting a new job on Monday.

Great service. Asked for a crib and it was at the room before I unloaded my bags of car. Later asked for a microwave and it was a the room in few minutes. The only concern is the gym.. The gym is very poor. I wish the hotel would have heavier dumbbells (maximum weight there is 50lb),- for example, couple adjustable 90lb dumbbells, and one universal cable machine would be great.

My room was not cleaned. I found out in the afternoon and informed the hotel, but they did not tell me that the cleaner had gone off duty. I had to go to the front desk to ask for new towels. The service was zero.

The hotel facilities are average and clean. Disposable facilities such as slippers, combs, toothbrushes, etc. are not provided. There is no bottled water or kettle. It is wise to upgrade to a view room for an extra fee. The only bright spot is that the hotel is in an excellent location, facing the street view in the city center.

It's quite clean, and it's very convenient to walk on the beach. The sea view is also nice. But if you drive a large off-road vehicle, the hotel parking lot cannot park there, and you have to park in a public parking lot some distance from the hotel. Overall, it feels good.

Came here for a wedding. The room was perfect. Spacious and clean and had everything I needed. The hotel is an easy walk to anything one would need and has a great restaurant option if you want something close.

This is far from a 4 star hotel. Probably 2.5 star is a more accurate rating. Oak Bay Beach Hotel is an excellent place to stay. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, which made the experience comfortable and relaxing. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. Overall, the high standard of hygiene and the great service really stood out.

Not a 5-star place but okay. Spa and pool facilities were partially closed which was extremely inconvenient. They charge extra fee for onsite self-parking which is not reasonable. Had a wonderful night stay here this past weekend. The concierge was great and the shuttle into town was a nice amenity. My husband loved that the pool opened at 6 and the view while swimming. Everyone we talked to were very polite and kind. Thanks again for an amazing stay!

Great place to stay in Victoria! Friendly staff, highly clean rooms and fancy toiletries! Bath robe is worth having, should have bought it. Very convenient location to walk around the town, places to visit. And they have a charging station for electric vehicles. I used paid valet parking.

Rooms have been updated. They offer nightly rental deals as well as monthly stay rates. 60 $ a night is a fantastic deal for downtown Victoria. This was the second time I stayed at this location. The rooms are clean and the service at the front desk is 5 star. This is a pet friendly accommodation however be advised there is a fee associated. There is a large park near the water just across the road and plenty of parking. But no space if you are towing a trailer.

This was the second time our group booked this particular hotel. We found the rooms to be roomy and clean and the fact that it had a kitchenette was great! Can't beat the location - close to where we needed to get to with great trails for walking. Definitely will return again!

The room is a motel room, it was clean and as expected, but nothing fancy. But what puts this place over the top is the service. Pool broke on the day I arrived with my 3 kids, which was our main reason for using this hotel. Also, sofa bed was so uncomfortable even my 11 year old couldn't sleep there. We stayed here for 1 night last night and we really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. The pool had a changing room which nice and the hot tub was hot and toasty. Very flexible with early check-in. Reservation online was smooth and required no advance payment. The room was exactly like the pictures. The fridge was very useful but set too cold (freezer-like). The coffee set was amazing as was the shower. Only the heater/ventilation system was too noisy to my liking. The location was perfect and was only 10min walk to get to downtown Victoria.

Newly upgraded, still have some finishing touches to do. Only thing I didn't like was the kurig coffee thing, it was nasty coffee. Service was great, prices great. Will be staying here again

The “City Center Hotel” is a pretty good hotel near downtown of Victoria. The room was clean and contained a small kitchen. As so many buildings, the rooms were not sound-proofed and the hot water supply was not stable (it was fluctuating while showering). Despite those small issues, we liked our stay there and would certainly consider staying there again if we visit Victoria another time.

The rooms were exceptionally clean with housekeeping being very attentive and friendly. The views were very nice. The service was excellent, but the breakfast was willfully meager and disappointing. Considering the other hotels in the area that serve excellent breakfast there's no excuse for the repetitive and unappetizing breakfast that was served in the six days I stayed there.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during our recent BC trip. We were fortunate to get a large end room on an upper floor with two balconies. The room was bright, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The included hot breakfast was good and the location was excellent for sightseeing in Victoria.

We enjoyed having the hotel location near downtown and the harbor of Victoria. Loved the complimentary kitchenette. We only found out later, during check out, that there was on the premises a self serve guest laundry facility.

The two of us had a wonderful time at Shoreview. The house was perfect for us, as was the location on the lake. The house is very well supplied and very clean. The pellet stove was great on some cold winter mornings. Janette was most hospitable and helpful. We recommend it.

Great spot close the the Empress, Harbour, and Government street. An older hotel but updated decently. They offer a 10% coupon at the liquor store and $5 off at the Stickey Wicket Pub.
