Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour, Victoria1 / 50

Victoria, 728 Humboldt Street 🧭 Map
Great service. Asked for a crib and it was at the room before I unloaded my bags of car. Later asked for a microwave and it was a the room in few minutes. The only concern is the gym.. The gym is very poor. I wish the hotel would have heavier dumbbells (maximum weight there is 50lb),- for example, couple adjustable 90lb dumbbells, and one universal cable machine would be great.
best part during my stay were the staff and the location. Their washrooms really need upgrade, room looked modern but washroom took me to the 80s. one of the elevators weren’t working during my entire stay-wed to Saturday, had to wait for so long
While this is a Marriott, (so you kind of expect a "chain" experience), the staff here make all the difference and take the time to look after guests. The manager was present and very attentive too. Traveling with dogs can be problematic and stressful, but they even had suggestions for local eateries that welcome dogs on the patio... The location is also a perfect blend of central yet quiet, with safe...
Cera from the front desk was beyond welcoming, warm, and thoughtful. She was knowledgeable of the area and made great suggestions that accommodated our kids needs/ interests
This property is located close to downtown and the harbour, making it quick and easy to walk to or catch a bus to our destinations. Service started at the front door with a smile and continued with front desk staff always available and friendly. The bed here was probably the most comfortable one I've ever slept on in a hotel. Temperature was easy to control and noise levels were great as the property...
Great hotel, very nice rooms, excellent room service. Overall, this is a new fave for my coworkers who travel here on business very frequently, 6 of us were staying here in 6 separate rooms. The location is ideal & convenient to everything. This my 1st stay & it was great. Only thing I didn't like was that my pillows smelled like the bald head of an old man, weird & gross. Change the pillows, or wash...

This place is awesome! So much thought has gone into so many things that are important these days. We were particularly impressed with but being so bike friendly, no single use cups in the room, refillable shower stuff and 24/7 coffee and tea at reception. Staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly. I am rarely impressed with places like this but the place is an exception!
We love this place! We chose it because it cost less than the hotels downtown. It turned out to be the perfect place for a visitor without a car. It's across the street from a mall and food court and half a block to Denny's, KFC and Starbucks. The hotel is cute, clean and has free bike and skateboard rentals. The staff is fun and friendly and our room had a balcony. And there is bus stop across...
Wonderful experience for us. The vibe and decor are so fun and guest centered. Really focused on ensuring we had a comfortable stay and every detail was thought out and anticipated. The desk staff were friendly and helpful, knowledgeable and generous with their time and suggestions. Borrowing the free guest bikes added a huge bonus to the stay. We saw Victoria from a whole new perspective and saved...
Can't go wrong for the price here. We loved the slide, hottub and pool. We also used the free bikes to do a little self guided tour. Staff was amazing, helpful and super friendly. Only thing I disliked was that the street noise was a bit loud at night as were the people above us. I would just stay on the upper level next time.
Rooms are clean and spacious with a modern TV. The staff is nice and they offer regular cleaning. Great place for kids and it is in a good location. Only few comments, my plane was at 8 and the staff wouldn't let me stay beyond 11:30. An hour or two would have been nicer. And a bottle of water and some coffee in the room would have made it more pleasant. You wouldn't feel like taking a walk to the...
The Ruby was great, The staff was amazing and worked as a team to make sure everyone was happy!!
Great bed, bathroom shower head was too low but worked fine. We enjoyed the hot tub. Would stay again. seemed spotless. Very good service.

It is old and careworn, the air vents are very loud and the coffee station wasn't stocked in our room. The pool is tiny, but there, same as the fitness room. But we booked it for the location which was phenomenal. And that was the point. We did really like that they had coffee available in the lobby.
Had a 4 night stay. Nice comfortable room, though it wasn't serviced while we were there. I guess we could have requested it. They apparently were short staffed so didn't see a need to ask. Reception staff were helpful and check in was pretty quick. Breakfast was available and though pretty basic did the job and the staff were very friendly.
I and my friends wanted to thank how grateful we were to the Male receptionist who was on shift on June 18th at around 12 midnight. We came all the way from Vancouver, I and my friends were looking for a hotel in Victoria Downtown. We had already searched for 3 hotels and all were full and it was already late at night, this kind Man in Quality Inn hotel was really sorry that there were no available...
For the excellent location, big room, free coffee/ tea / water (a cup), friendly staffs, accessible to bus or ferry connector, etc. This 2 star hotel/ Inn is definitely a keeper on my list if I ever visit Victoria. Of course, just need to aware this is a kid and pet friendly place and therefore it could be noisy. I would recommend this hotel/Inn to anyone who interested to visit Victoria.
I really like this hotel. Rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and it's in a great location. My only issue is it's loud. Walls are paper thin. If you're a deep sleeper or wear ear plugs you'll be ok. My last stay there were a group of guys in their 20s on my floor. I had a feeling it would be a long night. Needless to say it was very loud around 3am and the front desk needed to be called. I'm sure...
Worth to point out this is a 3 stars hotel. Was not expecting too many. The facilities are kind of old and small. Low felling room and easy to hear anyone walking on the top floor. Gated car parking- $12 per nights

Came here for a wedding. The room was perfect. Spacious and clean and had everything I needed. The hotel is an easy walk to anything one would need and has a great restaurant option if you want something close.
This hotel is AMAZING! Hotel and Rooms are very very clean and modern, staff is extremely friendly and helpful and hotel is so close to everything downtown while also providing enough distance (across a bridge) to feel your car and yourself are both secure. Views from harbour view rooms are amazing. I stayed here for 4 nights in a harbour view room 812 and was very impressed with this hotel and staff...
This is far from a 4 star hotel. Probably 2.5 star is a more accurate rating. Toilet takes forever to fill, shower head is in the middle of the bath tub shooting straight out to the middle of the bathroom. Towels are old and paper thin. Air conditioner wasn’t working properly. Was told if the fix didn’t work could open the window for nighttime cooling. Staff is good and service prompt. This Marriott...
Love staying here. Been coming here for years, even before Marriott took over as owners. Rooms are clean, well appointed and stocked, we were in a newly renovated room and it was very nicely done. Great location on the water with a short walk over the bridge to shops and restaurants or a fun water taxi ride, if you prefer.
I have to rave about Delta Hotel. Everything here is just perfect and brings so much happiness. The hotel service is exceptionally attentive, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Since we arrived at the hotel before 11 am, after taking the earliest ferry to Victoria, the front desk (a gentle lady with glasses and black hair) kindly prioritized our check-in, promising to accommodate us as soon as a...
The staff are truly incredible here! They do everything they can to help make your stay great! A special thank you to Mario, your kindness really made my day on my most recent trip! You were also the person who checked me in the first time I stayed and were amazing then as well! The location is great, close to downtown Victoria which is just across the bridge, the hotel is also right on the water...

Stopped by and had a cocktail here and took photos of grounds, and inside was gorgeous. I'd love to come back and stay as I was on a cruise ship this trip. Great location! Can pick up shuttles here back to the cruise ship $8 one way pp. BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY. Also across the street is a great whale watching excursion, eateries, ect. Close walk to downtown & Parliament building.
We had an absolutely lovely and unforgettable stay at the Empress Hotel in Victoria. We stayed in one of the Gold level rooms, which is on the first floor, and features it’s own check-in desk. His was an incredible value for the price since we had access to the Gold Lounge which offered picturesque views of the bay, and the staff were amazing and helpful at every step. We also enjoyed high tea as well...
This iconic property is definitely worth a visit, even if you aren’t staying there. Have a drink or meal at one of the excellent bars and restaurants. The view of Victoria Harbour is fantastic, and the service is always friendly, professional and efficient. Don’t miss the sunset bagpiper (pictured here recovering from his performance at the bar). Also seriously consider experiencing their High Tea...
I’ve been in awe of the Empress since I was a kid. It seemed to me to be the epitome of Victoria. I was so excited to have the opportunity to stay there this month. However, it will most likely be the first and last time I stay there. For the amount of money one spends to stay at the Empress, there aren’t really additional perks or amenities to justify the price tag, aside from the beautiful historic...
We had a fantastic stay! Rooms are beautiful, comfortable beds and we loved the Nepresso coffee maker. Service is exceptional. The location is so convenient and walkable. Some of the complaints on the google reviews are laughable. I’m impressed by the staff’s ability to give outstanding each and every interaction.
The location is brilliant. In the heart of downtown. Walking distance to the wharf. The rooms were spacious, and the staff were very friendly. They have an awesome bar in the hotel that open out towards the front of the property.

We enjoyed the convenience of of the layout and utilities as well as the large TV.
This hotel is a great place to stay!!! I love how affordable it is, and the rooms are not bad. The service is always fantastic. The rooms could maybe have more soundproofing, since people can be heard clearly in the hallways, leaving rooms etc lol. Maybe the blankets could be cozier or extras would be nice :) Otherwise it’s a great place to stay! The location can’t be beat. Thanks Red Lion! :D
Great stay at Red Lion Inn and Suits. The room was big and had all the amenities we needed. The bathroom was clean and tidy. It has a pool on the ground floor, so we were able to play in the pool for a bit. But mind you, this is not very close to the downtown and you will have take a bus ( enough buses running frequently to Victoria downtown and to other locations). Everything was great and I would...
The five stars is for the smiling staff who excel in positive customer service. It is not the newest hotel in Victoria and you’re not going to get an ocean view, but you will get great Victoria accommodation. There are two large malls if you want to dine nearby or have forgotten to pack something. If you are green minded and want to walk or take transit, there are plenty of options around the hotel...
Unfortunately I found that the housekeeping wasn't what I would have liked. Corners weren't cleaned and it looked as if someone had been sitting on one of the beds. But other than that, decently clean. The fire door by my room would only close if you pulled it closed, so was always open, so much for stopping the flames from spreading. The good point was the well worn pool. It was a nice temperature...
Hotel is ok for the price. Everything was clean. What sets this property apart from others is that front desk staff are exceptionally courteous and beyond-the-call personable. Manager Chris couldn’t do enough to be helpful; personable and friendly. Good experience. It’s a little out of the city center, but there is good bus service to city center and a taxi is about $15 Canadian.

We have stayed at this hotel 5 times this year between May and August and have loved every single night. The staff are friendly, they remember your face, and your preferences! We always feel welcomed. The spa like environment creates a tranquil space that allows your mind and body to just relax. The relaxation pool and hot tubs are fantastic and with the 16+ age restriction the space is calm.
Overall was a good stay. There are a few things to note that we found were disappointing and inconvenient. There were no locks on the bathroom door which was weird. The microwave was "locked" during our three day stay which was super inconvenient. Another thing to note is that the TV only has paid channels and live tv. There is no option to log into your Netflix or YouTube which is unfortunate as...
My recent stay at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel was unfortunately not as enjoyable as I had hoped. While the hotel has some positive features such as the spacious and clean rooms and friendly staff, there were some limitations that detracted from the overall experience. One major inconvenience was that the main restaurant was only open from Friday to Sunday, which meant that there were limited dining options...
Beautiful property with an outstanding ocean view. The rooms are very comfortable, and each come equipped with a large bathtub and separate shower. The heated mineral pools are amazing. The service was excellent throughout our stay. Everyone from the valet, front desk, housekeeping, pool staff, etc. was very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I came for our wedding anniversary to celebrate one night in the Oak Bay Hotel. I've heard so much about it that i decided to try it out. Everything from the moment we stepped foot on the property until we left was absolutely exquisite 👌 ✨️. They provide towels, flip-flops, and a robe in the room. The interior feels newlly refurbished, the toilet is so clean and modern. And the bed maybe one of the most comfortable one I've stayed on. A really high quality hotel room. Location is impeccable. Minutes away from all the great spots in Victoria.
This staff was super responsive and kind. The room was a good size and very clean. The pool was perfect for families and because it only got to about 4ft, families were able to spread out and not be on top of each other. The location cannot be beat- it is a very doable walking distance from the Clipper and many of the attractions. My 6 year old described it as fancy and old-school. 😂
Great place, close to everything, great room service (after asking for it), great bar, great food. But it was strange to check into a 4.5 star hotel and be told our room did not include daily linen service for our three night stay. I’m not sure why? We eventually called room service and they were happy to provide the service.
We've been coming to Victoria with our family for the past 6+ years. For the past 3 years, we've been staying at Hotel Grand Pacific. There are many choices of hotels in the James Bay area, but HGP is probably the best bang for your buck in terms of quality, service, and location. We've done the harbor view, street view, and most recently - harbor suite. I can guarantee that the harbor suite is the...
We stayed in April for an event. It’s very nice and convenient for the purpose of our visit. The room itself is pretty nice and updated with plenty of cabinets. The soaker tub is also great. Cons: The room was pretty cold to my...

Nice to be served breakfast and a cute little menu to choose from. Staff were polite and many varieties of coffee, available all day. Appy plate on arrival.
Second to none. Beautiful rooms with many thoughtful details and amenities, including an extremely comfortable bed. Great location, only a few blocks from the Inner Harbour. Fantastic breakfast every day. And enough cannot be said about the service - warm, friendly, and personal at all times. We can't wait to come back.
The Abigail hotel was a pretty unique experience. It’s a charming place, serviced by friendly staff and filled with pleasant surprises. Rooms are comfortable, well-kept, and of course, clean. While it comes off as rustic, it feels like it has been recently renovated. There’s an attention to detail that doesn’t go unnoticed. Breakfast was fantastic, a cherry on top of the already pleasant experience...
A truly classic British style hotel. The room was beautiful with a very comfortable bed and really clean. There were two sets of stairs though! My wife and I had a wonderful stay this weekend at Abigail's Hotel. The location is very central and convenient. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and have everything you need. The real highlight, however, is the breakfast. It is like no hotel...
My 2 friends and I just returned from Victoria had an amazing week stay at Abigail’s. The staff are so friendly and attentive and very helpful. Pretty good. Their Internet connection is a bit of a pain in the butt to connect to. They should just include parking in their rates. You either get to pay for valet parking or find parking somewhere on the streets.
Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel is clean, fresh, and newly remodeled. Very quiet. Great location. 2nd time to stay there and will be back! Completely recommend.
Amazing staff and great hotel. The rooms are beautiful. We had a room on the 17th floor (top) with a balcony and it was just phenomenal. There is a restaurant in the hotel (table 21) with a good breakfast buffet as well as another pub below the hotel with live music and great food. The only part we didn’t love about our stay was that there was no video on demand on the tv. This was a minor amenity...
Very good service. We were originally placed in a room that was next to a small baby who would cry frequently. When we asked politely to move they accommodated us immediately. Very comfortable place to stay. Perfect location for visiting Victoria, as everything is within walking distance. Staff was incredibly helpful, courteous, and personable, to ensure our stay was the best possible. Room upgrade not necessary as the view is not what we were lead to believe.
Fantastic upscale hotel in Victoria downtown. The room was spotlessly clean, even though it was a dog friendly room. GREAT building. Visit an old English Club, but one that allows both genders in. I have not stayed in the guest rooms. The common areas are what makes this place special.
Joined the club in March. Nice quiet peaceful atmosphere. Have eaten some awesome dinners. Five star meals and service.
Beautiful old world charm right in the heart of downtown. Especially love the rooftop deck and views.
Took a tour as we are considering joining the club. Our tour guide, Danielle, was friendly while being very informative and helpful. An impressive landmark, with rich heritage... truly beautiful building. Amenities were nice, and the location is amazing. Non members can book rooms here, might be a unique place to stay on your next visit to Victoria.
I went here for a work christmas party and nearly every part of the whole experience was amazing. Truly some of the best food I've had. BUT to be fully honest, the beef was not good at all. So chewy that if you went to take a bite of your beautiful sandwich that you just assembled, you wouldn't be able to pull away and you'd be stuck gnawing until something gives.

The Inn is very centrally located and is a short walk to the ocean or to downtown. The breakfasts are first class and the afternoon wine and snacks in the library room were a pleasant surprise. We will definitely...

Lovely interior to property. Beautiful century home with a lot of nice old features. Very nice decor. Comfortable bed and pillows. Helpful and friendly staff. Good guest kitchen downstairs to store refrigerated or frozen items.
It's very charming and unique. Kind of like a B&B but more private. Can't beat the backyard being the Castle! It's a unique experience but not a typical hotel FYI.
Lovely old house, if old fashioned charm is what you're looking for this place is perfect. Very clean, everything is updated as in state of the art showers and big comfy bed. Rooms are small but the common area is large and welcoming. Bring your own food as there is a kitchen for your use
We had a wonderful stay. We had the master suit and it had its own little kitchen so we’re able to bring home our leftovers from all the yummy restaurants we ate at. We loved sitting in the common room after our walk downtown. The view is breathtaking and it was nice and quiet. Anyone complaining about the water temperature never grew up in a house with many people, sometimes you need to wait for it...
Excellent area, with a close up view of the castle, lit up at night. Incredible stay.
I stayed two nights in March 2023. Great homey B'n'B. Helpful and friendly staff. Super clean establishment! Downtown is in walking distance (15min walk). Quite and historic neighbourhood with quite some huge sequoia trees. Highly recommended.

Extremely comfortable rooms and overall a great time staying in the hotel the location was absolutely terrific, you are close to the parliament building the museum government street and the fishermen’s wharf. Almost everything you need to do is on 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel. And the view was absolutely stunning you can watch boats take off and sea planes land. If you’re visiting Victoria...
We wanted to love our stay, but unfortunately we were disappointed. We chose this hotel because it was our first get away as parents without our daughter, and thought it sounded lovely with the views and amenities. We stayed two nights. The room had a great view, but the room itself was dated. We also weren’t told at check in that there was no housekeeping for those who stay less than three nights...
Amazing location, feels like the sea planes are going to land in your room if you get the right one! Service was excellent and easy to walk along thr coastal path to Fisherman's wharf or the other way to central Victoria. Great place.
I recently stayed and attended a conference here at the Laurel. I was truly blown away with the positive experience. My room was exceptional with one of the best views in the city. All staff went above and beyond being super friendly and receptive. The food at the conference was to die for. Thank you so much and I am excited to go back!
Absolutely amazing hotel. The rooms are clean, bright, and spacious. We had a room with an unbeatable view of the harbor - we even got to see a heron frequent the shellfish beds in front of the hotel! Staff was excellent and made our stay great, and were so helpful when we forgot something in the room after checking out. The restaurant was delicious and we were always able to quickly get a table. They...
Had a dinner sent to our room with wine, it was fantastic. We had awesome service from all the staff that we interacted with at the hotel.

Service and food was excellent. Had breakfasts, a dinner and one night just drinks at the lounge and all were great.
great weekend in Victoria - this is by far the best hotel we've stayed in for the price in Vic. Location is perfect, the staff at the front is amazing and the restaurant (Blue Crab) is great. Really clean rooms and spacious for all of our gear we were travelling with. Can't believe the price we got for it - honestly better than we expected! We loved the warm pool and hot tub too. We're staying here...
Really enjoyed our overnight stay. Booked 3 rooms as our family came over and we all enjoyed the hotel. The bidet was unusual but we ended up liking it! And the best part was how responsive the front desk was with the texting option. Allowed me to tell them our approx check in time (slightly early, which they accommodated and check out time, we needed slightly later and they allowed that too). Plus...
Arrive in town for business and was greeting with smiles ! From front receptionist desk to staff just waking around. Said my name to check in... and to my surprise, I'm the guest of the day !!! Awesome news , but I left my credit card at home . Needed it to check in, staff smiled and said not too worry. We will figure it out, above and beyond she went to check me in. Thanks to management for running...
Such a nice hotel! Location is perfect. Right in downtown Victoria on the water. Nice underground parking at the hotel that locks up at night to keep your vehicle safe . Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping in the downtown Victoria. Water taxi available right by the hotel during the day!Hotel was very nice with beautiful views. Very clean. Shower had good pressure and lots of hot water...
Had a wonderful night stay here this past weekend. The concierge was great and the shuttle into town was a nice amenity. My husband loved that the pool opened at 6 and the view while swimming. Everyone we talked to were very polite and kind. Thanks again for an amazing stay!
